The staff is SUPER helpful, when theyre not giving you advice, theyre offering you a basket, dropping info on deals/promotions, and sharing their personal experiences with the products they recommend you! I know its part of the job to help but some people help strictly for the requirement, but it feels like the ladies here help because they genuinely want to help! Awesome! Went in for a bar of soap and then I also got a hydrating spray that I was in desperate need of!!!!! I was ready to give up on trying to find a solution for my dry skin, thanks Ana + Olive! 🥲

Today Tuesday Oct 19th I went in with tiktok recommendations. I wasnt greeted upon entrance but did later onby another girl. I walked straight to the section of body and was welcomed by Ms Angel. She was and is by far the only ulta employee I see that went up to me and listen to my requests. She went above and beyond to look for an item not on the shelve. I cant belive she asked around for keys to search in the back and nobody seemed to cared until she got another employee who had them. When others were passing by in front of me while I waslooking at the section without an excuse me when I was literally about to grab an item was no shocker But I have to say I would come back just to seek Angel. I got everything she told me and when I was by myself looking at other items I felt lost without her. If you see this Angel I will make sure to stop by for Thanksgiving for your kind service!! Ill make sure everyone knows you did more than your job!!💕

From the moment I walked in I was welcome, my questions were answered in the most explanatory way products were in-stock and checkout was very enjoyable, overall I got well service and came home with products that I really needed.

New manager named Dane is extremely rude, makes up rules to make it harder for you to pick up an order when all i needed was ID. Said i needed a confirmation number which isnt true. Tried to refund the wrong amount on a previous purchase. Slammed products on the table and acted as if he couldnt be bothered to help me.

The staff is super helpful but not annoyingly so. Because of the pandemic restrictions and safety precautions the beauty techs help you color match as best they can but really make an earnest effort of finding you the right shade and the right product while trying to keep you and them safe. It would be nice - since the mall is partially back open- and there were workers chilling inside with pizza boxes on chairs and gabbing away- to update the signs on your doors.Obviously you didn’t re-open at the end of March (which is all your signage alludes to) and I understand you guys still being closed- but communication is key. A simple- ‘We’re hard at work getting ready for our customers to come back and shop with us’ would do.Just a suggestion.

I went in today for a bang trim. I cut them by myself and wanted them “professionally” done, and so i made the appointment. I walked in, very nice people, but the girl (if i recall correctly her name is Monique) didn’t listen to me at all. I told her I wanted thin, wispy bangs and for them to be long. She said she understood, but proceeded to do whatever she wanted. They came out thick and short; I cant even style them at home. I looked in the mirror and immediately started to cry because they looked so terrible! My mother even cried because they just looked so bad. Please, never let her cut bangs again. I will definitely no longer be returning. (They were nice enough to not let me pay since I was not satisfied though.)

Waited in line to enter the store. As I entered, I had to listen to a LONG diatribe of rules that I, the person who was going to spend money, had to follow. My mask was slightly below my nose as it had slid down. The clerk told me to pull it up. As I was walking away from her I complied. She then continued to YELL after me and flagged down a security guard to tell me to pull my mask up. At this point I decided that it was humiliating to be told to what to do, especially because Im the one who indirectly pays her salary, so I left. It was no longer a pleasant shopping experience and I would not frequent this particular Ulta as a result.

I was helped by Jasmine in the cosmetics department. She was a life saver! I have extremely dry skin and have a hard time finding products to suit my skin. She completely understood what I was talking about and made excellent product suggestions. She didn’t just try to push products on me like other consultants have done. She really listened and showed me the products that would address my concerns. So friendly and knowledgeable. My skin has never felt better! Thanks Jasmine! You’re amazing!

For some reason this Ulta store has a lot more products here.

I recently got my brows done at the Benefit brow bar, Wendy did my brows! I just wanted to give a review on how awesome she is and what a great experience I had! She was super sweet and so friendly while I was there! I had a bad experience with my brows at a another place, and I left the brow bar feeling so much better about them and they look great now! I will definitely be back! ☺️☺️☺️

Last night I walked into the salon with some extra time on my hands while visiting from out of state to see if they by chance had any openings. Not only did Ros graciously accept me, but she did an incredible job on my color and cut. Her personality, customer service, and skills as a stylist made my night and made me feel beautiful. I frequent the area every few weeks for work and will most definitely be scheduling a future appointment with her. Her kindness to me, when she could have easily not taken me without an appointment, truly made my night, and my overall experience was phenomenal.

Im not big on make-up but I needed it done for my wedding. I scheduled an appointment with Amanda (skin therapist) for my special day! OMG! She did the most amazing job ever. It was light and long lasting! She explained what she was doing and took great care of me. I will be going back to Amanda every time I need to go to ULTA! Thank you for making my wedding prefect.

The best...I have gone to this Ulta for quite some time now. The level of customer service here and help with ordering products, actual stock on hand, cleanliness is beyond the level of ANY of other Ulta I have gone to. I used to go to the VG Ulta- and it’s hit or miss. The Ontario Mills Ulta is consistent. EVERY time I go. No attitude no “issues” just getting me the makeup I want! The manager here is amazing- if you’ve had issues at Ulta try this one- you won’t be disappointed #happymakeuphoarder!

Great customer service

The employees there were so rude! I went there 1 week ago and I had to wait for so long to ask them about some products. There werent many customers in the shop anyway, but the employees were just lazy and chatting with each other. The male employee was the first one who came to me and after i told him that I needed help looking for a foundation, he told me to wait, so I waited for another 5 minutes and he passed me to another employee there. That lady was SO rude and arrogant! She talks so aggressively with No smile, No customer service attitude at all! I felt offended with some of her words. Eventually I had to look for things by myself and find another employee to help me. I spent $160 there only because i urgently need those makeups. However, I will never ever go back to this shop again. Worst shopping experience EVER! I dont understand how this kind of business is still alive!

One of the staff girls was very rude. She refused to acknowledge my presence when I asked her for help. She also said that she would send someone to assist me and she never did.

I was shopping for items that unfortunately were located at a larger store. The 1 star is for the service not the for the size and stock on hand. The cashier (Amanda) helping me was allowing herself to be interrupted by an off shift associate who was complaining about a customer who needed help as her name tag was off and purse in hand. Sorry associate #2, but you still represent this company as you make rude comments and hand gestures for all to hear from behind the counter and right in front of me. Doesnt make for me wanting to purchase your items. Ill be going to Sephora where an associate would have followed with Im sorry maam but I can get someone else to help you this is called customer service. With the associate helping me, I had to play guess what store can I find my makeup at. She only stated that they dont carry it but would not follow with you can find it _____. I pray Ulta follows up with this location and customer service skills. The only good that came out of this visit was my free birthday gift.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!! I went to this location over this past weekend with my boyfriend looking for some concealer (Sephora didn’t have the shade I needed). After I got the concealer I was looking for I was looking around for a lipstick and as I was looking at some different shades my boyfriend decided to sit down in some stools that were around as soon as he sits down an employee approaches him with a bag and demands him to take whatever “he put in his pocket” out and put it in the bag. He told her that he didn’t put anything in his pocket and then he gladly took his phone and and chapstick out showing he only has his stuff. We get to the register and we get nothing but nasty stares from the same lady and another employee. Never will I go to this location again I will stick to Sephora.

I somehow prefer Ulta over Sephora. Maybe because it contains both drugstores and high end products.

A MESS. I asked for help to color match a foundation and one of the employees that seemed like the supervisor, asked another girl to help me. This girl didnt know what she was doing. I told her I wanted to try out a certain foundation and the whole time she was trying to convince me to go for another brand. I was sitting there listening to her to for five minutes only to ask ANOTHER girl to help me. The next girl wasnt any different. A total waste of time; I left there empty handed and completely unsatisfied. A first for me because I usually have a good experience at Ulta.

Its pretty easy to find what you are looking for and the crew is always ready to help. Store js clean and organized.

I was there today to find a perfume for my mom. I found Coach but there were 3 different perfume types with 3 different floral combination and tester was not saying which one was which. I called for help and got one after a while. I found the bottle with her help for the second time even if I had to chase her for help. The bottle had sensor on it and I was not done with shopping. All of a sudden tbe sensor started screaming loud. I was trying to find someone to get the alarm stopped. Finally the makeup lady saw me struggling and took me to cashier. The alarm is still on, crowded store and someone at front told me, we keep it at here for you. It was very embarrassing. I never been embarrased in my life at a store like that. I went back there cause I needed to get it off my chest. The manager apologized but it felt very awful that I just wanted to warn people sensitive like me.

My first visit here 10/7 and it was bad. I asked where the IT Cosmetics were located and all the lady did was point to where it was. The cashier Zharynna was rude and has no customer service skills. Today I visited again and Zharynna was the cashier again and she seems so unhappy. She belongs working at a pet clinic because she is terrible with people. Will never return here again and if they go out of business it will be because of the workers.

I walked in and asked for help as I dont wear makeup and stated the amount I was willing to spend. The women that proceeded to help me tried to sell me 300 dollars worth of products I didnt understand or how to use, and then made me feel bad by saying your face shouldnt look like that. When I asked her to explain she went on a check list of my flaws and how bad my face was. She worked in the lancome counter and I think her name was Consuela. Consuela you should be fired, the tactic you used to sell me product shows how garbage you are. I will never forget leaving the store feeling so ugly and ready to cry. Every staff member avoided every customer until you ask for help. No one greeted me on the way in.The store is always a mess and I can never seem to find a manager. Plus they watch you like your gonna steal but dont offer help??? Terrible store im never going backThe one in Chino hills is a million times better

Worst ULTA EVER!I went to the store today and the security lady, looked like a hispanic woman was following me literally everywhere. No matter which section I was in she was there. I was actually looking for an Ulta employee all over the store... they literally had nobody. She thought i was going to steal $8 nyx concealer... i myself grabbed a shopping bag and put my stuff in it... then i spotted an ulta employee and ran after her so she could help me find my exact shade as the ones i got before were not right. The security chick came running where I was coz she thought i was gonna do something and started to poke her nose in our conversation telling me what kind of concealers she uses. I am not kidding she was suspicious as hell. After that I was constantly told to wait for the right person to help me just pick the right shade. I was transferred from employee to employee 3 times. Overall If you want to feel discriminated please feel free to come to this store. I love ulta as a company and love their business model just this location was horrible. Go to the Eastvale location, i have been there twice and they are so sweet.

Ive never had such a bad customer experience like this before. My friend and I were shopping around the store and my friend had literally 2 small items in her hand. A couple minutes later we hear an employee on the speaker saying to check the security footage and we ignored it. We weren’t even in the store for 10 mins, next thing I know, the security(a black woman) came to us with 2 shopping bags asking if my friend and I needed one. What was weird was that she only offered it to us and no other customer. First of all, security doesn’t offer bags. Second of all, employees only offer bags to customers when they see you holding multiple items. My friend had 2 small items in her hand and I was just carrying my shopping bag from pink. My friend was confused because we were heading over to the cashier but had accepted the shopping bag for 2 items anyways. Then the security had offered me one and I declined. She then asked me if I had anything in my pink bag. WHAT ??? Using the shopping bags as a ploy to come see what’s in my pink bag. FOH. I showed her the inside of my bag and she seen it was nothing but thongs. Ha. Then the manager comes up to us asking if I needed help looking for anything. Um if I’m next in line then no, I’m done shopping. Also security had her eyes on us the whole time. Sus af. After my friend purchased her items the security ran to the doors as if the alarm was going to ring. Lmao. If you want to purchase something from ULTA do yourself a favor and drive to a different one. Dont waste your time going here unless you want to feel accused and discriminated. Won’t be coming back to this location again.

Salon people are nice, but it’s packed and generally inefficient— the three times I’ve been there I’ve waited 30-60 mins just to check out. They should really hire more people, at least for rush hours or something.

Some of the stuff there was a little messy but overall they had everything I was looking for and the staff was super friendly. I would definitely recommend going here.

Nobody offered to help me after I asked for help the sales girl was not friendly or professional and just wanted me to buy the expensive makeup. Try to make me feel unimportant and not pretty.

Went into this location on Sunday. All the clerks were too busy carrying on and visiting with people (you could tell they were private conversations) to help anyone. Asked one clerk where something was and she just pointed and waved towards the area it was. Too busy to help anyone. If you dont have the time to help anyone, you dont need my business.

They have just about every beauty product i cant say i care for to many of the staff due to they seem to be very stuck up and act kinda rude ive never had a worker ask me if they can help me or even offer me a bag but hey i still love ulta its the only place that has my platnum blonde clensditioner

I usually would always shop here since it’s so close to my school but recently the two times that I’ve went I have been followed around the store which was really awkward. Not one person said anything to me while I was followed by what seemed like the security guard. Obviously being accused of trying to steal something when that was not the case. I couldn’t even shop and didn’t end up buying anything since I was basically followed until I got out the store.
