Im in the security business and Ive heard about this location a lot by my friends and my coworkers in my boss they said its a great place to visit so on the time I went to go visit they didnt I called ahead and they didnt have the 511 tactical pants that I wanted Im glad I called ahead but the thing is when I did call the persons who helped me were very knowledgeable in all their products and they were very truly sorry that they didnt have the exact type of pants that I needed cuz I was looking for a specific 511 tactical pants striker they knew they didnt have it so I asked me not to come all the way down from highland California to all the way to Ontario they also offered me alternatives like online shopping in a different locations one of their competitors which I thought was pretty great they are mostly involved in helping me get what I needed I like their staffing at that location and I talked to a woman I dont know her name but she was very helpful and very respectful security officer Joe Ramirez out

Everyone there is VERRRRRY helpful and knowledgeable and they have a lot of in stock. I would absolutely recommend LA.

Variety of gear is good. Bought a unique knife with a rock like handle, para-cord, finished in black matte, a really nice fitting Condor duty hat with velcro in various places. The flashlight section is awesome, good place to SEE variety & types of flashlights. Store is well lit but still has a lot if sunlight coming in, very good variety of tactical gear & clothing. Planning on going to the location in Torrance, went to the Valencia store a few years ago.

Anything you need lapg has it the staff is very friendly and helpful and they also do Tailoring so all my security Buddies this is the place to be

Respected and adhered to the Governors medical exemption. Associates were very helpful and courteous and, I believe, even went out of their way to check the back for items that I needed. I will definitely shop here from now on. Its out of my way, but when you find a good spot you gotta go back every time.

Been in the store three times in the last six months. So far, Ive had one employee say hi and another one ask if I needed any assistance. Doesnt leave me feeling like a valued customer -- more like a minor distraction from whatever they do to appear busy. If youre law enforcement, a serious paintballer, or Special Forces, I guess you stand a chance of talking with someone. Next time I need something, think Ill try shopping elsewhere...

It was nice their prices on backpacks were reasonable. But if you have to be somewhere soon you might not want to go here first because you end up spending so much time its an awesome store

Great store. Nice selection. Their store brand is better than it was years ago. Good quality at a great price. Careful about browsing though you will find stuff you didnt know you needed. They carry leading labels also, 5.11, Blackhawk, Arcteryx, surefire. So careful what you shop for they might have it, I recommend taking the extra large credit card.Update. Just stopped in again and Im happy to report things have not changed that much. The best part about that is that the selection is still varied and the customer service was great. This is how you get a brick and mortar store to prosper.

First time there today. Just a quick trip to get a replacement holster for my flashlight. Very nice selection. I got what I wanted. Very helpful staff. Would go back again.

Better hope they have what you want in stock. If they dont they wont be able to get it from their other location, or their warehouse if they have them. You cant place the order and just wait until it comes in, you have to either watch for it online and order it online, or come back to the store so you can pay for it. Ridiculous...I ordered nothing, went to their competitor nearby, Pristine. They didnt have what I wanted in stock either, but were much more helpful, and guess what, I was able to order what I wanted in advance of them physically having it. Stupid policies at LA Police Gear.

Good variety, not just one brand. Prices go from high end for the name and quality to low ball for knock off brands. I especially like the closeout and specials they offer. Makes shopping here far more cost friendly.

THANK THE POLICE GODS!!! walking into this place is like walking into fort knox... really nice building to star off with... pretty large... now onto the good stuff. THEY HAVE EVERYTHING.....from backpacks to work pants to shirts and button downs to boots and knives. Great sales also. The people there are very friendly and ask if you need help several times which I like. Very affordable. Especially when you compare to.511 or black hawk. I bought so much stuff. But you can never have to much STUFF!!! cheers.

Its a good place to get your L.E.O. geared up for war! Good selection in uniforms and equipment for law enforcement. They didnt have the jumpsuit I was looking for but I came out with a new nylon rig!

I live in temecula ca I called in at 1030 a Gentlemen answer the phone. I asked him do you have any boots in size 12-12.5 he said yes I said ok great. do you have any Under armour boots in stock he said yes I asked if he has them in 12.5 he said yes. I thanked him and said I just needed to make sure u have my size in stock be for I drive from TEMECULA he said see u soon. Hang up. Well I get here no under armour boots and no 12s or 12.5 of any kind in stock I wasted 2 hours of my life.

I always love coming here. The store is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and there is so much merchandise crammed in that sometimes you walk in circles and still find new things. Prices are great and having an online portal for items that werent on the shelves makes it even better.

Ive come here TWICE short notice. And both times theyve had uniform pants in my size, pre-tailored. If youre a fireman in need of Workrites on short notice come on down.

The store and employees that work the floor are very nice, the lady that does the alterations in the back wasnt very nice, I had to get my uniforms tailored elsewhere.

Great service, even after we had a slight mix up on my name tape order. When they fixed it, I ended up with THREE free ones, and a huge discount on their Tac Athlete boots. They made sure that I was satisfied. I also have their Atlas pants, which are comfortable and well constructed...on par with pants that are twice the price. Excellent customer service as well.

Staff was great but very limited selection and stock of their house brand. There is no point to visit the brick and mortar if youre going to have to order online anyways - Ill stick with Pristine Uniforms for now.

This review is for one staff member in particular. She was shorter with short hair a face piercing. Didn’t bother to ask for her name but because I didn’t have anything in my hands to buy she asked me to leave the store because I had my son with me in the shopping cart from next door at Babies r us. She said that wasn’t allowed at all. You know for someone who was going to buy a few tactical vests and spend a few hundred dollars here today, you lost my business for good. Approach people in a different way and don’t make it obvious that your put out over a cart in your store that isn’t all that great anyways. I see an employees face on the other reviews which shows most reviews are bogus. I’m happy I didn’t buy products from your store, you have rude employees and high mark up on your items anyways. I saw the same vests your selling for $58 cheaper online through amazon. I’ll definitely be telling my law enforcement and vet friends about my experience and NOT recommend your business. Simply put, disappointed...

All i can say is finally!Ive been shopping with LA police gear for years and i have never been disappointed with their products and now they have an actual store front.First impressions is the store is filled to the brim with all sorts of goodies, all of which are neatly organized and arent stacked on top of each other. Big plus is the fact that anything that you cant find in stores, you can order in the store via their online order machine!The store also appears to hire pretty like minded people when it comes to outdoors and tactical products, which is a pleasant surprise considering how public stores usually hire everyone and anyone. Best of all the employees are honest and even mentioned the fact that they price match their own website!Overall if youre a LAPG veteran or a newbie, this location is a must to pay a visit.

Only two stars for what I went there for which was womens boots. Only had two options. One of which was a tan color boot that I cant wear for work. But because the customer service was good (I didnt get the ladys name), Im giving it three stars. I wish uniform stores had as many options in womens boots as they have in mens!!

Ive been a fan of LAPG for a long time now. I own their brand of shorts, pants, and a light and they have all been great. If you are thinking of stopping by just do it. I have always ordered online and wanted to visit the store in Valencia but could never commit to the drive. No need now, the store in Ontario is perfect. The store looks great and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Very clean and organized layout. I also met the CEO unknowingly at the time until I got home and made the connection after some social media scrolling. A very friendly and professional guy. I will definitely be back in there to stock up on gear and hobby items. Ill just make the excuse of Im saving on shipping!

Used the L1 Flash light 2 times. It would not turn off went to warranty it and it was a several hour process still on the phone with them now. If nothing goes wrong with the product its a great. But there customer service is really really bad. My advice is dont buy from LAPG. Disappointed.

Whether youre in law enforcement security or work for a Detention Facility theres really no reason to go anywhere else other than LA police gear they have everything you need at great prices in the personnel that work at this facility are very knowledgeable... there really isnt any reason to go elsewhere!

During my visit at the store I was very disappointed.The company website advertises items as if they were in stock at the store. To my surprise little that I knew but I drove approximately 20 miles out to come to the store to find out that the item that I was looking for was not in stock that it was sold from a warehouse. it felt like the representative was upset because I question the fact that theyre advertising items that are not in stock and misleading customers to believe that they sell everything in store.
