First let me say we love our new Front Door! everything went pretty smooth and I was in constant communication with the project manager Arthur. The installers were professional and did great work. I would recommend them to my family and friends.

Buyer beware!!!!Similar experience. Placed my order on 6/4/21, told it could take up to 10-12 weeks for delivery. Put 50% deposit down. They came out within a week to take measurements. Thought everything was taken care of until almost a month later when I receive a text that they are ready to order my door, but need to know which way it opens. Shouldn’t that have been taken care of when the salesman was at my house when I first placed the order or when the man showed up to take measurements? So now almost 4 weeks later and my door still hadn’t been offered. Then I receive a text almost a month later asking me to resubmit paperwork for them to charge me my down payment, which I had already paid. If I didn’t correct their mistake they would have charged me twice. Receive a text on 9/1 and 9/14 confirming the delivery of the door on 10/11. 18 weeks later. As of today, 19 weeks out I had not heard from them. Called and still being told it’s taking 10-12 weeks. When I tell him it’s been 19 I get the run around that they can’t control the manufacturer. Also, now being told my door is there but there is no screen.

I want take the time to appreciate all your hard work as a team. It started out with the boss Joe who gave me a reasonable estimate.Then came Michelle my project manager which she communicated the whole time with great customer service. Finally the 4 workers that came to my home showed up on scheduled days were always right on time which is a big deal for me l, they came in and got down to business, they were very professional and finished installing 5 sliding doors 8 windows in 2 days both days leaving everything absolutely clean they also took the old sliding doors and windows. I had an amazing experience thank you to all of you that were part of my project. Will definitely refer them.

On September 30, 2021 Design Window and Doors installed my beautiful custom sliding door package. It is beautiful and it will bring me years of enjoyment. They are stunning and the team that installed them did an excellent job.Great job fellas !!

I recently had a my kitchen garden window replaced and I must stress how HAPPY I am with my new window. It is beautiful and the installers did a superb job. Upgraded three windows and two sliding glass doors. Reasonable prices, quality manufacturing and installation. Recommend.

About a couple of months ago I had all of my windows and doors replaced by Design Windows and Doors and they look amazing. The installation and the quality are excellent. If they miss something they will be there the next day to make sure its done right. Everyone compliments and loves my grand entrance wrought iron door. I highly recommend them.

If I could take lower - I would.Sale guy came in and treated my mother like a bother to work with. Would not provide any pricing other than we are not cheap when asked about ballpark prices.The general demeanor and tone of his conversation eluded to the fact that he was bothered to even be here. He looked to be approaching retirement age- so maybe this companys issue with this salesman will be fixed shortly after.Cannot recommend even to get a quote from this company- there are many others around- and ones that do not promote being affordable and then the sales guy saying- we are not cheap when asked for pricing lol

My experience was AMAZING, the project took place between Jan. 2021 to Aug. 2021! When we received our quote from Mike McLean, he was very honest and clear with his explanation of the different window options we had and the pricing of the project. He showed examples of past projects, that ranged from retrofits to fixing botched jobs from competitors. After we had chosen our windows and options. we were assigned our project manager, Martha. Goodness gracious, I did not think Id come across someone as dedicated and hard working as Martha. all through out the project she was constantly on top of everything. She handled all the documents pertaining to HOA and other documentation, save for the documents that required us to fill out. when it came to the windows and the project she would always keep us posted on how things were going no matter if it was letting us know about approval ETAs or just letting us know about information pertaining to the factory and our order. Come June we receive our windows are ready for install and Luis who installed them did a splendid job. He removed the old windows and installed the new ones in less than five hours, all while flying solo! But alas! we were missing screens and the lock on one of the panels wasnt behaving too well. I let her know and before I could say warranty she had already called Milgard about the screens that were missing and had set up for a technician to come out and check our lock. The screens were back ordered and the lock issue was resolved quite quickly and the lock was behaving as intended. after the initial install we had to wait two months until the time of writing this to receive the screens and all through out Martha was keeping us up to date on what was going on with our order. On 8/24 our screens were delivered and installed by Ray! the install was quick, he also took care of some touch up on the paint for the frames. He also told me a little more about our windows. I want to thank you all at Design for making this project a great adventure. Special thanks to Martha for her dedication and diligence, Mike McLean for helping us with choosing our windows and starting our project, and the Techs who installed our windows, Luis and Ray, even though I was watching and asking questions they were working efficiently and never lost focus. THANK YOU !!!!

Waited 7 months for my windows to get installed and they still have work to do in the house that they have not completed. I was kept in the dark the whole time with no updates till they emailed me the week they wanted to come out. This company is very slow at everything they do, so if you need windows 1yr from your order then this company is for you. I will never use them again!! They still have work to finish and ofcourse that’s another 2 weeks to one month timeline just for a screen door.

Thankfully I was able to have these installed at the beginning of May right before summer really started in SoCal, already Ive noticed a huge difference in how cool my house is and how much better it looks from the outside. Originally it was supposed to take 2 days, but they got it done in 1 day! Very kind and professional crew. Martha helped get everything completed and also took care of my pesky HOA. We moved into a condo with a sliding glass door from the early 80s. You could barely open the door more than an inch before you had to pretty much pick it up. Design Windows and Doors gave us an amazing deal, matching a quote from a different company but with a better door. The day of our appointment, hey came in, took out the old door, frame and everything and installed the new door in less than 3 hours total! The entire process was simple, they explained everything to us as they went and made sure we were never kept in the dark. The end result is so great we feel like we have a new and much cooler home. I highly recommend this company. Everyone weve talked to or who has visited our home has been extremely nice and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.

All aspects were done professionally. Starting with Khelin’s presentation of his company and the type of windows and doors. He really took his time and came prepared with samples. Martha, the design consultant was always available and answered all our questions and got back to us quickly. And always with a friendly attitude.The crews were all professional, friendly, on time and did great work. They cleaned up all the construction mess extremely well. They were recommended by my neighbor and I would definitely recommend Design Windows and Doors.We got 12 Windows, 1 slider and 2 doors done. Great quality and make the house look 100% better.

Soooo happy with out new French sling door with mini-blind inserts. Not only is it beautiful, it is much quieter! Jorge was our installer and he took great care. We live in a manufactured home, so there were a couple of challenges to getting the old slider out! He took great care to clean up the dust so that there was little residual by the time he was done. We are very satisfied with the quality of the work and the product!

We were getting quotes for new windows and a patio door From a couple different companies. and I actually had one company I had to call 8 different numbers just to reschedule my appointment. Well I canceled it when I finally got to someone. I requested a quote from Design Windows and doors I immediately got a call from Bill about getting me a quote. He came out did the measurements we went over what we wanted. He even made some suggestion we didn’t even think to ask. After the order was in and the manufacturing started my project manager Martha reached out to me every week if not twice a week just touching base letting me know where we are on the project and if I needed any help or had any questions. We did add to the order which she quickly made the adjustments and kept the project on track. We are so happy with the look of the new windows and the amazing quality. It was so refreshing knowing a business cares about their customers and giving excellent customer service. I have already recommended them to several family members and friends.

While the overall quality of the windows was great, the process was long and painful.We ordered two windows and one slider with blinds inside The sales man added laminated glass at our request and then we found out later that you can’t get laminated glass with blinds inside. We paid for the balance of our windows and then needed a refund for the laminated glass and that took forever with many back-and-forths with our sales guy and the main office. It was extremely frustrating!The time was lengthened by a second remeasure and that guy said the slider would not fit. After a third remeasure it was decided it could but the process was delayed.The install was scheduled for one day but took them six hours to do one slider and a kitchen window so they couldn’t do the third window that day. They rescheduled for the following week But then canceled the day before and pushed it out another two weeks!The installers were good and professional but the process was less than desirable! I therefore cannot give a recommendation for this company.We actually ordered two additional sliding doors from another company AFTER we had already purchased the three with Design Windows and that company got those 2 sliders/windows installed and completed without issue BEFORE our first install was even scheduled with design windows.So there you have it. If you want pleasant experience with windows or doors I recommend a different company who will deliver on their promises!

We had ten 80 year old windows replaced in our 1940 house. From the salesman, Mike McLean, Brianna (project manager) and the two installers, they were all professional, did quality work, and the installer were fast..6 hours from start to finish. We are very pleased with the windows and Design Windows....

I used Design Windows and Doors, some years ago when I had the windows and sliders replaced in my old condo. Now that I am in my house, I saw that I needed to have the front and kitchen windows replaced (7 windows total). I only called one place. After Joe came out and gave me a estimate, I placed my order. Once the order was set up Martha was my rep. She kept me informed on the progress and when the install would be. Yesterday my new windows were installed and the difference was instant. The house got instantly quieter even before they had finished adding the trim and caulking. The install guys were wonderful, respectful of property and cleaned up once finished. If it werent for the new windows you would not have known they were there. Should I ever need to replace any more windows in the future I will definitely contact them.

This company was super easy to work with. They came into my home and showed me different types of window companies and designs. After choosing the one I wanted they did a rough measure of all my windows to tell me how much it would cost. I signed off on it and they sent another person to get another measure of the windows to be more accurate. They told me it would be a few weeks to get the widows in. Before I knew it I was receiving a call from the install department with a install date. The installers showed up between the scheduled time frame and were amazing. They installed the windows in the order I wanted due to my busy home and they were in and out in a half a day. They even left my house cleaner then when they showed up. They made sure to vacuum each room even though they put down tarps to catch all the trash from the install. Amazing company and group of people and will be sure to recommend them to everyone I know!!!

Extremely nice and very professional, but price was way out of proportion compared with other estimates. Was quoted over $5,000 for a single door and install,and the door was nothing special when you can pick up at home Depot. But if I was looking for a more serious project I will consider them great presentation.

All they did was waste my time. I made an appointment on a Monday at 4pm. They called me the day before to confirm it, which i did. Monday comes along and i get a phone call from their office just before 4 saying their sales rep wont be getting there until 430.Except thats not okay because i have another estimate coming at 5pm (he was on time). So i had to reschedule for Wednesday at 1 pm. No big deal, it works for me and its in 2 days.Tuesday they try calling to confirm, except they cant get a hold of me. I do shift work and had a 16 hour day. I call them back Wednesday morning just before noon to confirm my appointment at 1, which of course has already been rescheduled, and may i remind you was made the day before.The guy who handles this is actually really pleasant on the phone, but he tells me, well, we tried to confirm with you yesterday. So i had to say, well i made the appointment 2 days ago, and its a reschedule because your sales rep was late, are you saying no one is going to show up for the appointment? He says, let me call you right back.He calls me right back. How about 2pm? I said thats not going to work for me, just cancel it altogether, you guys lost my business.How can i trust theyll even do a halfway decent job if they cant even honor an appointment twice in a row. Absolutely terrible. Say goodbye to a $7000 job. Thanks but no thanks.

Our project from design windows was Amazing!!! The project Manager Martha, kept me updates all the time since the 1st day. Windows, patio slide door and shutters installation crew were so polite, careful with our furniture and most of all NO mess after the job was done!!!!Im totally in love with the new look of my house. 😊

Joe came out that Saturday wrote up the order and put it in place at the end of November.By the end of January our 12 Milguard windows and 2 sliders were installed; creating a warmer, quieter, energy efficient, more secure, less dusty home!The professional, capable installers, Edgar, Sal and Umberto arrived promptly, worked quickly and efficiently individually and as a team. We were impressed with their attention to detail, craftsmanship and ability to create and work in an organized workspace.We recommend Design Windows Doors, Inc. without hesitation.

I got estimates for vinyl retrofit windows from 5 different companies and chose Design Windows and Doors. They competed with the others on price yet what sold me is how they install sliding glass door units, which are very heavy. They remove the entire old aluminum sliding door frame then install the retrofit sliding door unit, which gives you slightly larger doors, more effective glass area, and the door is anchored more soundly. Stucco damage is minimal and is completely covered by the new unit in any case. These guys do it right and Ive referred them to friends.

We had 3 large sliding glass doors replaced in our home and I was very happy with the service and installation. While it is still early Im happy with the quality of the milgard sliding doors as well.

Everyone we dealt with was professional and courteous. The installers took their time and kept everything clean. The windows are beautiful much better than the ones we purchased prior from another company. If we had more to do would definitely go back to Design Windows and Doors.

Our single pane windows from 1952 replaced with wonderful double pane windows. Amy was the one who called me and was so open and scheduled everything. Doors and windows are tricky to replace in old houses and I was concerned! Amy arranged a meeting for me with the owner who was very knowledgeable and he educated us. We did run into some issues with french doors, but it was taken care of no matter how many times it took the crew to pay us a visit. The windows and 2 doors were completed in 2 days! We have a mid century house with 35% windows of all shapes and weird sizes. Very pleased with the result! We did have few more estimates however we realized have we gone with any other company although they were less, but we surely would end up paying more due to change orders. Highly recommend Design Windows & Doors.

We had a great experience when we had our windows and doors replaced by Design Windows and Doors. We had an unusual request about reinstalling a security screen door after the new sliding door was installed -- Most companies werent sure how to do that but this company stepped right up and said sure, we can do it. This is the 4th time I have purchased windows from Design Windows and Doors Inc. They gave me an arrival time for delivery of 8:00am - 10:00am and arrived exactly on 8:00am and began working immediately. The two men were courteous and friendly and worked well with the carpenter remodeling a portion of my kitchen. I purchased windows manufactured by Milgard and they are beautiful!

On December 13, 2018 the four crews arrived at 8:00am and started removing the old windows. They installed 21 windows and one sliding door. At 4::00 pm they completed the installations and clean up.Oscar and the rest of the crews did outstanding job they are very professional and friendly Our house look so beautiful in and out after they installed the Windows. We are very happy for the job well done. We will highly recommend Design Windows and doors to our friends and family.

They install Midgard products but do not warranty repair or replacement. They pass the buck to Midgard which gives you a 2-3 month wait to repair your product. I have a patio door which is locked and wont open. This is a hazard in the case of a fire or other emergency, but it dont matter, Im still waiting...

My windows and my doors look beautiful. Only reason for 4 stsrs is because hours after they left and I was cleaning up I did find some dirt that was left on my curtains and on my wall that I had to get a wet towel and clean. But overall they seem to pick really nice guys that came and very helpful when I had questions and they would play around with us when we were joking but they also kept it very professional which I very much appreciated. I would use this company in the future and I also recommend them to family and friends.

Their staff, from the Home Show vendors to salesperson to administrative staff to installation technicians, are all professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. I purchased a dual pane garden window for the kitchen and could not be happier with it. I highly recommend them.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. They installed 4 sliding patio doors for us and installation took place in one day. They were professional, attentive, and timely. They installed a 4 panel door which was beautiful and three 2 panel doors that really made my house look bigger and brighter. We would definitely recommend this company to others. The house is a fixer upper and windows were long overdue. What a difference their product (windows) has made in the feel of the place and the overall aesthetic. We are very pleased with the installation that Design did for us. We met 4 window contractors, and Design was easily the most trustworthy and did not attempt any upsell. In fact, while other contractors were very willing to do exactly what we wanted, Design offered suggestions about combining windows, and gave us a beautiful huge window in our front room.The contract agreement was signed in on 5/3/19 and the install was completed on 6/27/19 by Jorge, Jose, and Ruben. They arrived promptly at 8am and had the job finished (5 windows to be replaced) by 12pm. They did a full walkthrough with me, did some touch-ups, and were overall very easy and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend Design Windows and Doors, and will rehire them again for our upcoming projects.

The worst; refused to fix uneven shutters and blame everything on their contracted out installers who cannot communicate with you

When they came out to represent themselves they actually had samples of the different types of windows with them, and the crew Men were very professional, polite, and did an amazing job on all of my windows. I would definitely recommend this company! As far as the communication goes, we had Martha, who was always on top of our order. Martha, kept us updated on everything.

The installers, Raul and Victor, came on time and completed the job at the time they estimated. Overall, I am very pleased with Design Windows they have excellent service and price!!!

UPDATED Custom door installed 2 months ago. Had issues with it not closing correctly. Paintwas rubbing off too. Called for repair, scheduled an appointment. There were some issues with getting them out in a timely manner, but they did come out and the door is working beautifully again.

I have contacted 6 different window companies before deciding to choose Design Window and Doors, the knowledge of Mike (sales person) on the windows is beyond any one Ive talk to. You can tell his professional and sales ethics than the others, some doesnt even remember what kind of windows they quoted me. Other makes you feel you re buying a used car. Mike have explained the pro s and cons of the selections to help us make a well informed decisions.They assigned my project to Martha, who coordinated every step of my project flawlessly and even fill up the Milgard rebate form for me.. Very professional ! I say give them a chance to get a quote. We got our windows done and we even turned one of our windows to a sliding door. Wow our house looks bigger and amazing. Also the crew that put the windows on came early and finished the same day. They cleaned up after themselves and were helpful. We did not have to wait a long time upon ordering and they installed them accordingly. We will for sure be coming back. Our salesman mike really helped us out. Very professional guy.

I am taking the time to do a follow-up review about Design Windows and Doors because I have dealt with Mr. Joe Polentino again and he has corrected the problem I had with that one window, there is no more water penetration coming from this window, none that I can see at least. If something goes wrong Joe makes it right, that is why I hired them not once but twice. Their windows are worth every cent, every dollar, they are beautiful, and I can assured you they will increase the value of your property. Everyone makes mistakes and nobody is perfect, but if that is the case Mr. Joe will make it right for you, will corrected for you. In all honesty, when I buy my next property and if I need to upgrade my windows and doors I will still hire them again, because of their work ethic, it means a lot to me that after these months still they reached out to me just to ask if there was a problem with the window. It is because they care about the costumers and the importance of being in good terms with them that makes them worth it. It makes me want to hire them again.So thank you! for helping me increase the value of my property.

This company is very low standard they took my money in April I had to keep calling them and calling them to know when the windows will be installed in June finally they sent 2 people who never installed windows before and they installed them . very bad job. I had to keep calling them and calling them finally the owner Joe came and saw the windows and said this is a very bad job . we will replace them for you. That was way back in July I called many times again and Joe requested a letter from the association I sent him a letter from the association and called him again requesting if it that’s OK or not . And to please contact me if he has any questions he never contacted me. I thought at that time they ordered the windows a month and a half later I contacted him To see what’s going on with the windows he said he’s been very busy and he stated he has not received anything to cover himself Since then I have been contacting them for somebody to come and install the windows. But even Mike the project managerWhen I attempted to contact him and left one message after another after another And he does not return my calls.I finally got hold of him. He stated I am behind . we are in November now And my windows have not been installed. I am out of $5800 and very bad installed windows . Even Joe the owner agrees that they did a very bad lousy job.

Okay so had many different company’s come out and give me quotes, I had a quote from Mike that was over a year and half old, I contacted Mike to see if he could give me a quote again we’ll he honored the original quote so that why I went with Design Windows and Doors because of the price and the full warranty that came with there product. Martha the operation project manager is awesome she is on top of things, she kept me up to date on what’s going on via text and phone calls. What a big difference it made my house look and feel. Cleanup crew was great could have done a little better on cleaning but they still did a great job. Over all great company and I would recommend this company to my friend and family.

Excellent service over all. We had windows installation for the entire house and we were really satisfied. The price was good, the salesperson did an excellent job explaining everything we needed to know and the installation crew was very professional, they arrived on time and did a very good job with the installation and the clean up afterwards. We recently had windows installed with design windows, wow the quality of the windows was great love the way it changed the whole room looks completely different sorry I didn’t do it sooner so very pleased the installers were in and out left it completely clean were very friendly and able to answer all our questions!!!

What a wonderful crew- because our house is block and the old windows had steel frames it took them 12 hours but they still cleaned up beautifully and were respectful of our space .I loved walking around and easily opening our new windows because our old crank windows were ......cranky!

We are very pleased with the service, product and professional installation of this company. They were the lowest estimate of 3. We were installing solar panels around the same time and the cooperation of both companies was totally in sinc and great. We had all the windows in our home, a slider, a garden window, a round window upstairs, and 4 custom smaller windows, totally 17 windows in all replaced. They kept us informed with all phases of the job and sent 2 teams out to do the job in one day. They arrived at 9am and started right away. They were clean, efficient and friendly throughout the whole job. They were done by 4pm, including cleanup. We love everything about the whole job with this company.
