I would never come here again. Not professional and not on time. Waited 3 hours because they say they didn’t have my part in. But when I came they told me it would only.take 30 minutes. No other vehicles are here and all the worker are just playing in there phone. And every time I ask how much longer they say 30 minutes when they’re not even doing anything. I wouldn’t come back here for anything else. I’ve been coming here 3 years and they will no longer have my service.

I was next in line yet waited 45 minutes for what is advertised as a 10 min oil change. Cars that arrived after me were done in other bays before me... and the staff do not wear masks as advertised!!

Went in for oil change & asked them to check brakes, give me a quote. After waiting another 30 minutes I was called out to look at pads. Rear had 2 mm front had 6 mm. I could see my rotors and they were perfectly fine. I asked about replacing rear pads, get a quote for $330+. I looked at it and it included changing rotors, I told them I didnt need rotors, they told me its the only way they can offer a warranty. I told them thats fine, I dont need a warranty just change pads. The tech even agreed with me rotors were fine! What? They told me it was all or nothing, they cant just change pads. Deception at its best! Perfectly fine rotors dont need to be changed. Furthermore they claim on their website they will turn rotors, why would they quote new rotors that are perfectly fine much less not quote option to turn them? I wasted 1 hour of my life for these crooks. Stay far, far, away!!!!

These guys really look out for you. Theyre fast, friendly, and willing to answer any questions you have honestly. If I was not moving away from Auburn I would be coming here for every thing I needed done for my car. Definitely recommend!

I usually have my Toyota van serviced at the Toyota dealership. But I wasn’t paying close attention to the mileage and the maintenance required light came on and I had a trip the next day so I went to Express because they were closer. Express was quick, but they were more than twenty dollars higher than the dealership. And if they checked other fluid levels they didn’t add any. I won’t go back.

I own a car dealership in Childersburg which is over an hour from Opelika. We had a customer from the Opelika area come here and purchase a vehicle. Soon after he purchased the vehicle he had a battery issue. Express Oil here in Childersburg does all our service work and we have always been very pleased with them. Instead of having our customer make that drive again we sent him to Express Oil in Opelika. Pete and the guys took great care of our customer! Got him right in and out. I just got a text message from our customer telling me how happy he was and how pleased he was with his experience at Tire Engineers. Thanks guys! I owe you one.

Traveling through Opelika on I85 and my vehicle starts spitting and sputtering. My wife and I were in town to attend a band competition nearby and this was the last thing we needed. We dropped off our vehicle before lunch. As we were leaving it started to rain and my wife failed to bring a coat so we were going to walk to the nearby target to pick up a jacket. John had a staff member ride us over (right down the road) to the store and we were able to attend the ALL DAY competition after another band parent picked us up from there. John assured us it would be finished by 5PM. The mechanic (forgot his name) changed out the 6 sparkplugs and one coil pack but in the process broke a PVC valve. The mechanic stayed later than 5PM and repaired everything. (including the PVC replacement at no charge). Paid for the bill and pulled out getting back to the competition in time to see my child perform (whose band had made it to the finals). After the competition was over around 10:30PM, the vehicle didnt miss a lick on the drive home (over 120 miles away). Thanks John and the rest of the staff. You saved the day guys.

- Radiator & Engine Replacement.In the very beginning, they told me that i only have to replace radiator. They told me that after the replacement of radiator, my car would work like a normal car. But then couple hours later, they told me i also have to replace the engine, which they charged me 9000 dollars. (I bought my car with 9000 dollars.) In my opinion, they could have checked the condition of engine in the first place. They could have simply dipped stick in the engine and see the color of the liquid (If it is black, engine is okay. If it is brown, the engine is not fixable.) They did not even do that in the first place. I feel like i am bluffed by the mechanics (his name was Pete) They charged me 1000 dollars without checking the engine. Due to his negligence, or whatever, i had to spend 1000 dollars nothing. Pete did not even let me get my car to the other car shops unless i paid at the spot.He was very rude and unfriendly.

Ive been one of their loyal customers. However, one guy there broke my cars hood paint and rubber seal accidentally, didnt shut it back completely, and I just noticed that after my engine oil changed more than a week. There are many nice people there I liked. Also, I believe thats a human error when they need to rush their service for you. It can happen to any car and anyone. Next time, I hope when they dont know where is the switch to open the hood, JUST ASK!

These guys were so nice. I came in just before closing with steam issuing from my hood. When I was told that the heater hose had burst, and that they wouldnt be able to get the replacement part until the next day, I panicked-- I was 36 weeks pregnant with twins and live two hours away in Atlanta! I wanted to go home! They let me keep my car in the shop over night, and called me as soon as the shop opened in the morning (I mean, as soon as it opened-- 8:03 on the dot) to give me a price quote and a time estimate. I know that it might be cheaper to make repairs or do oil changes on your own, but if you have to go somewhere Id go here.

Friendly guys working but it was more like a 25 to 30 minute oil change instead of 10. Also, maybe one guy was a new employee, but after he explained the difference in the prices ($50 something or $70 something) depending on the type of oil I chose, a coworker came behind him and explained it differently, causing me to change my mind. I changed it not based on what he said, but based on the feeling they were trying to get me to spend as much money as possible. I doubt Ill go back; there are tons of other local places that perform oil changes to try.
