My car was scheduled for an appointment at 9 this morning. I arrived 10 minutes late and explained that my grandfather died early this morning. They asked if I wanted to reschedule. I asked to keep the appointment so when I travel 12 hours to Chicago my car will be fine. They were so kind and bumped me up in the line up so I could grieve in the privacy of my home. I am so grateful for this place!! They could have easily kept me there longer since I was late, but they gave me grace and were so loving. It means the world to me!! Customer service is A+ in my book!
I cannot tell you how great Famous Amos was, ending my week on a high note! Earlier this week, my daughters and I were involved in a major accident with our 2021 Explorer ST after someone pulled out in front of us. It totaled our vehicle. It did exactly what it was supposed to do! The engine compartment absorbed the entire impact. My oldest daughter suffered minor facial injuries from the air bag but other than that, we were VERY LUCKY.We tried to go back to our Pensacola Ford Dealership to purchase a replacement vehicle only to find out that there is a MAJOR shortage right now! Opelika had the only one with the exact features and packages we wanted, so I reached out. They paired me up with Amos (who goes by Famous Amos) and he completely settled everything! My wife and I drove 3.5 hours up there, the ST was ready for us to look at and make sure, credit application was submitted, we were in and out of their dealership! Every single team member that we came in contact with was absolutely great! I highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the area!
Their website is very detailed and led us to the dealership for a test drive. Our salesman Chris Moore was knowledgeable and patient as we asked questions about the vehicle. He allowed us to test drive the vehicle alone, which is nice. The purchase was quick and easy. The paperwork is digital now and that made the process a lot faster. If I could leave 0 stars I would. This place ran my credit about 15 times. I don’t have perfect credit by any means but I am working on it. A week after they ran it so many times I get a call from Amos telling me he was able to get me approved for something newer and could I come today. I live 45 minutes away but I made the drive. I get there and I’m approved by another man who goes to get Amos for me but comes back out and said “he told me to go ahead and assist you”. So we go inside and he asks the same questions I already answered when they ran my credit 15 times & goes and RUNS IT AGAIN!! Then asks me if I have someone that can co-sign. So I ask why we’re doing all of this again because Amos CALLED ME and told me to come there because I was approved!!! He apologized and said “I’m sorry, you weren’t. Idk why he told you that.”
We recently purchased a truck from here. As soon as my husband drove it off the lot, the check engine light came on. Unfortunately, it was after hours and we live about 3-4 hours away. He drove it home to have it checked. Since then, more issues have come up (one after the other) with the truck. It has been in the shop for 2-3 weeks and we have only had it about a month. The only option we have been given to bring the truck back to have it worked on there at a “discounted” rate. This is not an option since we will spend too much time and money in travel. It is hard to believe this was a coincidence. I wish I could choose zero starts but was unable to post without at least one. We spent almost $50,000 and the fact that they are unwilling to help in any other way is very frustrating.

They added $6000 in fees instead. They’re charging a $2500 admin fee just to buy a car because of COVID. What a joke.

No help once I drove off the lot with the cars problems. Replaced countless things already in less than 45 days and today I’m replacing the windshield. All my money and call back or advise on anything
Absolutely horrendous customer service. I was sent a recall for a part to be replaced. Cassandra said, bring it in and we will decide if it needs to be replaced. When I insisted that it be replaced per the recall, she hung up on me. When I finally was able to talk to Josh, he scheduled the repair. The van was in the shop for one week, with no contact from the dealership. I called for hours trying to get info, but no one answered the phone. I left messages with the service manager and dealership manager, but was not called back. These guys are the epitome of bad customer service.
Me and my husband were in the market to possibly trade in both of our vehicles. We ended up spending over 2 hours there the first day. Same Tuesday and Wednesday with no results. A lot of sitting and waiting. We were finally able to make a deal happen on Friday night which we were there till almost 10 pm. Only to find out had the original finance manager had done what they were supposed too I could have been done on Monday. I don’t think we were treated as valued clients but just as another sale

We have our ford multiple times in for a problem that never can seem to get fixed. It will drive great for a month or two before the error code starts up again.Recall work is the biggest pain. We had our transmission get recalled, took it up there, it sat in the lot for over a week.Service Center will not call you back and they are hard to get ahold of on the phone. You have to go up there in person for updates.

Bought a truck from here. They meased the title up and marked it as salvaged. I go to sell it 3 years later and cannot cause the title has an error. They dont offer to help with purchase to make it easier. Very disappointing

At first they was great, now they just give us the run around especially Mike the sales manager, the sales man dont know anything ! There was a tuner in the truck an a amp but somehow that disappeared. Cant talk to anyone in service because Mike the sales manager will not let my husband . He is the worst sales manager !

Bought a used truck and the check engine light came on while driving it home. They refused to fix the problem ultimately causing me to spend 100’s to get done. Horrible customer service. They bought the vehicle with CEL on and cleared the codes so it could sit in their lot with it not on and unsuspecting customers to purchase a messed up vehicle with them hiding the fact that something is amiss with it. Would give them 0 stars if I could.

Opelika Ford service department personal was very professional and curdious they took care of my vehicle needs and made sure there were no other issues with my vehicle fluid levels and breaks.
I took our 2015 F150 to be looked at because the “check engine wrench/light” was coming on and off. I called multiple times and was continuously put on hold over and over again. Literally, someone would pick up the phone, I would here the transfer click, and the hold music would begin again. After the third time of this and over 15 minutes of hold time each call, I drove over to the dealership to make an appointment. For 2 days, I called back to check the status and the Arnoldo g pattern ensued. I made yet another trip to the dealership (22 miles from my house, one way) to find out what was wrong. The diagnostic charge was $200 and then they quoted me a fee of $2,183 to fix my truck as it had (and I quote) “a glitchy PCM.” I decided that I needed a second opinion and took the truck to and ASE-certified mechanic shop. They told me that the part could actually be reprogrammed, but if that didn’t work, a replacement PCM for my truck would cost me $650, total. Needless to say, we won’t be using Opelika Ford. Frankly, my entire experience was pathetic, at best. No customer service.
Today our daughter took our Ford in for a scheduled oil change. She was met at the Service Desk by a rude lady named Tabitha. She doesn’t have any business talking rude to the customer. She made it clearly the customers were bothering her. When she called my daughter she said our oil change was 78.00 and some change. I had told my daughter we usually pay 39.00 and some change. My daughter calls us and since I just got out of the hospital I could take my car my self. She proceeds to talk down to me. I only wanted to know why it doubled in price and 78.00 is a lot of an oil change. She was rude to me as well and my husband heard what was going on and ask her to speak with respect. She got louder and I hung up. She turns to an Service Tech and says Not My Problem and smirks at my daughter. We have been customers for over 10 yrs and after this we will not be customers anymore. Someone needs to realize she is costing Opelika Ford business. A good rule in business, you are only as good as your weakest link.
We were met at the salesroom door by Cam. He did a great job of helping us pick out a new F250. We appreciated everything Cam did to make our buying experience smooth and easy. He introduced us to the Service Manager to allow me to ask him some questions I had and introduced us to the Sales Manager. Everyone in the dealership were friendly and helpful. Cam walked in the rain with us, provided us with a computer so we could watch the Auburn game while waiting, and simply made the entire afternoon pleasant. He also helped us completely unload our trade in and load it into the new vehicle without hesitation. Excellent experience!

Went on the lot on a whim. JT came up when I flagged him and asked exactly what I wanted and pointed out a beautiful 2017 Ram. I asked the price and was quite surprised at how reasonable. We discussed details and I said sold. There was no pressure. He then transferred me over to Josh in finance who walked me through the process with ease. I cant say how easy and smooth the process was. Highest recommendation!
I usually have exceptional service here. I literally drive past 2 other Ford dealers to get there, they are so good. This time, not so much. I drove 45 minutes to get to my scheduled appointment. Upon arriving I was told it could be a day or TWO before they could look at my vehicle. They could not provide a loaner vehicle like some other Ford dealers do, so I left without getting repairs done. A courtesy call this morning would have been nice so I could reschedule. Instead I am going somewhere else to get my oil leak fixed.
I will never do business with them again. First of all they told me they will give me $200 per referral. My mother -n- law purchased a SUV and my brother -n - law purchased a Dodge Challenger. I never received any money for either. Second they told me I will get a free oil change for a year, if I purchased a vehicle from them. I purchased a used truck from them and when I took my truck to them to get the oil change, they told me NO that the vehicle have to be a brand new vehicle. If I could give them zero star I would have.
Too expensive. Cost me 75 dollars for a freaking oil change and tire rotation. Too expensive

The worst service dept I have ever dealt with. Need brake pads for my vehicle. It took them 4 days to get the parts and they said they would call me when they came in . They never called me I had to follow up 3 times. Finally I found another dealership to fix my vehicle. Never heard from Opelika Ford if the parts ever came in or not.

Went to this location with full intentions of buying a vehicle that I seen online. I called ahead to make sure it was there, and it was. I get there ask for the salesperson who I spoke with on the phone. Great guy by the way ( really he was) I wanted to talk about the price. The salesperson said let me get my manager. The manager comes out and says we will not loose you on price come in and let’s discuss it further. I did, and even made an offer on the vehicle. they never come off the price one penny. Asked me to sign that I would buy if they lowered the price. I am a man of my word I don’t need to sign jack period. They literally talked There self out of a sale, it was the exact vehicle I wanted.
Oil change was fast & conenient
Asked for 3 recalls to be done and my oil to be changed I had a appointment for 7am I had my truck there at 6 it wasn’t pulled in until 3. They only did one recall if that. They called me an hr later saying my truck was ready and told me that nothing else was put on the order even though I told tabitha that morning about everything and the reps on the phone numerous times the associate that gave me my papers was rude. I WILL NEVER BRING MY TRUCK BACK TO THIS DEALERSHIP EVER!!!!!!!

Didnt seem to nice. From the service department and sales department. Never spoke, it seems you were a problem instead looking at the funds that you were bringing on. Also, Charles was NOT helpful at all. Never seems to have a answer. Lastly, he said the dealership wouldnt take my warranty. He made that decision instead of the service manager.
Went to get OIL CHANGE only. The lady at the counter named Bernadette advised on what all should be done at 30,000 miles. Due to COVID-19, things are tight for our family at this time. I let her know before any service was done or my vehicle was pulled In to the shop, that I was relying on our Ford Pass Rewards and that if it will not cover the additional things that need to be done, please do not do the extra and only change the oil. She let me know what would be covered and the services that would not be under the Rewards program. We Waited for 1&1/2 hours for the service to be performed (which I understand and am not upset about). Bernadette then advised me that the points only covered $154 out of $212. I told her that I told her ahead of time that I am not in a position to pay for any additional services. She tells me that I said just go ahead with everything when I did not. I told her that I was VERY adamant and had a lengthy conversation about what I could not afford. She then hands my papers and keys to me and says “ whatever, I guess I’ll figure it out my self. Here!” This is poor customer service. Especially to attempt to charge a customer for additional services that they did not request and specifically said not to do. And to think that we were going to purchase my husband a new vehicle within the next week or so! Our business will definitely be going elsewhere.

At 10:40 I made an appointment for an oil change at 11:30. I was there on time and checked in. They took 45 minutes to start working on my truck. That was a waste of my time. They should have known they were behind and made my appoint for 12:00 or 12:30. Opelika needs to use some common sense when making appointments.
Opelika Fords service desk lacks in customer service. I brought my truck in for 3 items. The transmission recall SW update, change the spark plugs and replace the positive battery cable. When I came to pick the truck up I was told that the oil had been changed and tires rotated. I did not like this and expressed my displeasure with the service writer. The service writer complained that I was hollering at her, which was not the case. I was expressing my displeasure that they did service I did not request. I understand that changing the oil could be construed as a trivial action but I asked to speak with the manager. When he came out and his first words to me was not to holler at this employee. Really. Ive been in customer service for 35 years and have actually taught employees how to handle disgruntled customers. The first thing he should have done was to introduce himself and apologize that there was a problem. That never happened and he didnt ask me what happened. There are always 2 sides of to an issue. I still have no idea what his name was. Taking off the cost of the oil change is not the issue. The issue was performing service I didnt ask for regardless of the cost and the service writer never apologized for making the mistake that caused the service team to perform the service on my truck to change the oil and rotate my tires. I dont live in the Opelika area so it is a drive for me to bring it to Opelika Ford for service. I was pleased with the work performed by the service team but I will not use Opelika the next time my F150 or Explorer requires service. The service work is great but the customer service personnel and management of the service department lacks the necessary skills in dealing with a disgruntled customer situation especially since the service writer caused the problem. The service team performs the work that appears on the work order. It was a mistake but the service writer or the manager did not acknowledge this fact or apologize to me for this error. We will be replacing my wifes Explorer in the coming months, however, we will not purchase it from Opelika Ford due to this unfortunate incident with the service department.
