This was hands down the absolute best car buying experience I have ever had. Every employee at the dealership was so kind & engaging. The buying process was quick & easy. Listening to Mr. Roy talk about the dealership, it’s obvious he takes great pride in his work, as well as the work performed in the dealership. I could have sat & listened to his stories about how the car industry has evolved all day. Thank you for making this an amazing experience.

First, when I called on July 8th for an appointment, Kip said no openings until July 20th. I went online a couple of days later and discovered I could make an appointment online. The first available appointment I chose was for July 12th at 8:30 am. Upon presenting our vehicle we were told we would have to bring it to Automotive Gear for an estimate to repair the running boards. I shouldn’t have to bring my vehicle elsewhere when we bought the extended warranty.

I bought my vehicle in late 2020 and last month I had to drive into the service department due stabilitrack notification on my vehicle dashboard stating to do so. Upon driving it into the service department after waiting over 3 hours to find out whether the stabilitrack issue was resolved it wasn’t and I had to get back on the road to take of my family. I spoke to my salesman before leaving the dealership area. He told the service department manager to order my part needed to clear the notification off of my dashboard. Currently I haven’t received a call about the part being received. It’s been 2 weeks and 3 days since I brought my vehicle to the service department at Roy Motors in Opelousas, LA!!!!!

Never have I had such a great combination experience with ANY dealership. The vehicle was purchased there and I was treated great. they went above and beyond to make sure I was pleased. J.C. Carpenter, the sales manager, took his time to put us first in every thing he did. Whenever my truck was hit from behind, Kevin Sonnier, the body shop manager, did the impossible, when insurance companies were haggling, he stepped in and handled every issue, keeping me out of the struggle. My truck, upon leaving the body shop after the repair, was PERFECT. Like it had never been there!!!! Roy Motors even had my rental situation covered FULLY. Im not sure how other dealerships operate in all aspects and function, but Roy Motors should be the guide on how others achieve total customer satisfaction. Please let them know that they have, by far, surpassed ALL OF MY EXPECTATIONS.

Didnt realize I would have a 2 1/2 hour wait for an oil change. Had made the reservation on Friday for a Monday appointment. Will question and arrange the appointment next time to be sure. I live 30 miles away from dealership, so couldnt just drop it off.

Sales team is phenomenal. The service Manager Mr. Kip Fay treated me like I was less than human. He totally ignored me. Just a Fyi in the future...Good customer service goes a long way!People dont mind spending money where theres good customer service At this point I will NEVER go back!! 1st and will be the last time .Back to Sterling GM here I go!!

Friendly people. But slow on delivering the vehicles. Was told it would be here this morning and still hasn’t showed up. If you don’t have a vehicle being delivered I would recommend this place. Everyone has been very friendly helpful. I’m just a little discouraged.

Bad review by proxy. I left a detailed review on the service departments Google but I genuinely want no one to come here if they can help it. Awful service, awful knowledge. Just avoid this place in general.Edit: got my alignment changed in marksville at Terrances. $75. Would highly recommend the drive over there than deal with the abysmal customer service and prices here.

The service department is really horrible. Not friendly, inexperienced, non motivated. The head guy of the service department Kip does not know how to run a department & talks to any one especially customers like trash. I will not be going back after 6 times of trying to fix the same problem that I was told is guaranteed fix. And every time they take something off they damage my vehicle. I definitely wouldnt recommend this service department to anyone.

Unexperienced techs, brought my 2012 GMC Terrain in for a stalling issue I was having. 3 days after it being there I called to get an update on my vehicle only to hear that it had not been diagnosed yet. The next day around 4pm I called back and was told that it had been diagnosed and it was gonna need a new fuel pump and that it was gonna cost 1800 bucks to get it changed. ( 😳 ). I told them that I was gonna just pick the vehicle back up and get it changed myself. After getting the vehicle back home I phoned Roy Motors service dept and asked them for the fuel pressure readings, or if a test was done, naturally, the lady who I spoke with said oh yes we did that but the tech who did it is out today... Ok, I see... long story short, I decided to dig a little further into this stalling situation and discovered that the throttle body could use cleaning. Did that and it ran about 40% better. After digging further and purchasing a engine light diagnostics machine, I come to realize the the fix to my problem was a 50 dollar part real easy to get to and simple to change.. got it changed and been running better than ever for about 2 mos now. Total rip off. Wouldnt recommend service dept to anyone.
