I bought my Dodge 2500 from sterling in 2016. Recently I needed some ac work done. They made an appointment for my truck and got it in and out in the same day. Very satisfied with the service.

Went in for an oil change and to see about some metal on metal contact in the front end. I had just changed the tires and started hearing a bunch of grinding and thought it was probably just the humming from the new tires. It made me crazy so I had told them about it and without any hesitation they checked it out, found out exactly what it actually was (a bad hub on driver side) they got it covered by my warranty and fixed it all in the same day! Great and absolutely wonderful people over there that listened and took pleasure in helping someone in need! Highly recommend going here!!

Our Dodge truck broke down in the Opelousa area on our way to Texas. Tow truck towed to nearest Dodge dealership, which was Sterling. Sterling had our truck over 3 weeks. After 2 weeks part came in, we were told our truck would not be worked on due to owner wanting someone else vechile worked on before ours. When ours was finally ready for pick up, it was so much grease/ dirt on fenders, front by hood and inside on seat, door jam and floor mats. This was so sad that a service dept would let anyone pick up a vechile in this condition. The service rep even said in his words and the service department wonders why we get bad reviews! As he saw the filthy inside and outside of truck.

Dalton in the service department was able to get my truck in on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving to troubleshoot the issue and his team diagnosed the issue and order parts. Something has happened in the Service department. Used to be stellar service but that has changed. This morning took 3 hours to get the oil changed in my diesel truck. I watched the technician as he preformed his duties. He completed the oil change but could not reset the oil change notice on the dash. Not a hugh thing but indicative of the down fall of the Service department. Unfortunately I will be looking for a new service provider

I just purchased a 2020 jeep compass special edition. this is my second vehicle I bought from sterling. My sales consultant Jorell Washington was excellent. Theres nonething like an upset wife. Wife makes an appointment for service on her Chrysler 200. Appointment was first thing Friday morning. We brought her car in Thursday afternoon for Friday. Turn in keys and information to service tech. It now Friday 1:20 pm and they havent even started on vehicle. Car was purchased and all vehicle maintenance was at the location in Opelousas.My best advice, look for a vehicle somewhere else. Service is awful at this location. This is not the first time we have had service problems here.
