New to the area and had to make the Home Depot run for a much needed lawn mower among other things. I was impressed by the immediate greetings and kind customer service from the associates we received upon entering the store. As a plus, Alisha specifically was a great help and assisted me in finding what I needed and gave great suggestions on the products I had to choose from. My daughter even asked to go back to this specific Home Depot so she can say hi to Alisha if we happened to bump into her again. Thanks Alisha for making us feel welcome!

Going to be painting some rooms soon & needed paint & paint supplies. New to this & wanted some help.Called & visited other big box home improvement places,but no one was really all that keen on helping me.Some had no one in their paint dept.& most just ignored me.One place was even rude! * Not Home Depot on Wells Rd.in Orange Park.Not only do the have full staff in their paint dept.,but ready,willing & happy to help! There were lots of guys in there, buying paint.One told me he is a professional & only buys his paint at this store! No wonder they were doing a good business. I was so happy with all my new paint & painting accesories! Thank you, Home Depot,for a pleasant transaction & answering all my questions!

Love Home Depot at wells rd, they are not a huge store, but you can always find great prices and quality. Recommend Home Depot at wells rd. Customer service is good, it could be better.

It pretty much the same every time go there geting good suport from the employee as whole irritating. Their lack of knowlege on what the store invitory isand location. Then the have this hand held computer they use then say look on iasle 6 or 8 then off they go then you start looking and you find and find it on iasle 12 10 min.later?? Why did I bother to asking!

When I would go in the store and I needed help I would find someone and they would point to where my item was but then I went in one day and an employee named Terrance came up to me and asked if I needed help. He TOOK me to the isle where my item was and gave me instructions how to put together and other items I might need. He was very very helpful. He was always smiling and very helpful. I was going to quit going to home Depot at one time it just seemed like the male employees would help the men that irritated me until Terrance came along. I am in the store almost everyday. He would always ask if I needed help and was very kind. I would like you to let him know hes made me a home depot fan. But he just made my day after having a bad one. He noticed I was looking up and down isles and was lost but I just wanted to give Terrance a shout out for helping me me hes the best

They have concrete paint they dont lie to you over the phone like Lem Turner location

Home depot always have great support for my house work.

I dont understand how I can go to a store and ask for help but end up having to go to Lowes because they help you and know what customer service means! I dont build things and I moved into a new place that Ive to complete my closet. All I needed was a little help to get the correct shelves and track bars. I couldnt get any help so I actually called Lowes in the store and explained loudly that I couldnt get any help or service. No one did anything! I have my 5 yo son with me and he saw how upset I was and yet still walking out about in tears yet still No One said nothing and still didnt care!! I will Never go back and Ill drive into Orange Park from Jacksonville instead of ever coming back. There was no reason for them to not help and stand around talking as though they dont work there. Wrong and Rude

I Like Home Depot just some of the employees arent too friendly they dont want to assist you or going to call somebody else that if they dont want to deal with you but other than that Home Depot has everything you need there handicapped efficient they have handicapped bathrooms handicap parking and just all-around great you know I just wish it would work on the employee respectful wise you know be more helpful besides standing around and talking to each other other than that Im okay shopping at Home Depot thats why I gave him a 4

Yesterday I was looking for Ryobi batteries. The two bundle pack that I had seen before at home depot.Our store in Middleburg had none. So I made the trip to Orange Park. The lady in the tool department said they did not have any. She was so nice and understanding. She felt bad for what I was going through. She took the time to call another store for me and found what I needed. I picked up my batteries at the Fleming Island store. Thank you Home Depot and that nice lady

Wanted to call and ask a question about a storage unit I seen online. Was on hold for awhile. Soon as someone answered the phone she picked up and said that they was really busy and that she will call me back lol 😂 how!!! are you serious really. Called another store and their customer service was way better than this location.

Everybody loves home Depot at one time or another you go in there for a gasket and come out with a cart load of honeydews

The managers at the store really do care. When the appliance delivery service said that they couldnt get down my road for the second time, the manager took control. His immediate response was that he would ensure it was on the correct truck the next day or he would deliver it himself. The next day came and true to his word, we were the first delivery that day. I literally had the same experience with Lowes resulting in me cancelling the order after a month and a half. Bravo to the customer service staff for dealing with the issue and bravo to the manager for leading by example.

Easy to order online and its nice to get the curb side pick up but this happen the home depot guy was just throwing the 80lb concrete bags in my truck

Just had a horrible customer service experience with Woodward (thats what his apron said) and Hannah.We previously purchased a battery that is still within warranty and they would not replace it. They printed the manufactuers warranty instructions which literally stated to bring it to the HD store as we were doing. Even though we were all reading the same paper they insisted we needed to send this battery to the manufacturer.We had to argue with Hannah then she went to get her boss Woodward and he gave us the same answer even though we were showing him the instructions given by the manufacturer and Hannah. They ended up replacing the battery after telling us that we were probably right. No apologies for making us spend 30 mins arguing about it or nothing.Also, I was leaning on our cart when Woodward decided I was in his way and began to push the cart. Let me add that I have stage IV cancer and am disabled and I walk with a cane. I asked him to not push the cart and pointed out my cane and he was very rude and called me a liar, saying he didnt touch the cart.Overall we were treated with disdain when trying to patronize this business. We will be taking out business to Lowes and I will be filing a complaint with corporate once they are open on Monday.

The associate in plumbing taught me (Female) how to repair the period under our kitchen sink! So Im a faucet plumber now!

Went to home depot to buy a couple hundred dollars in lumber and the wife bought some plants. When I picked up the lumber I needed I noticed that there was a price on every beam above each class of wood with the price on it. I took a picture and showed it to the cashier as it was around 40%-50% less then what the wood was ringing up for. A head cashier came over and refused to match the marked price even after seeing the photos and seeing the price tags above the wood. Then she didnt want to give me any discount at all until I threatened to leave everything at the register and walk away. Then she didnt want to give me my military discount. I asked to see the store manager and I was told she wasnt there. I ended up paying a 126.40 more then I should have and was not allowed to see an actual manager. Will be co tasting corporate about my horrible experience with this store not honoring its marked pricing.

Home depots are always great as far as selection and what they offer.This particular location seems to have a lot of staff who just dont care. They have self checkouts, personally I dont like self checkouts so I try to go through a regular checkout and everytime I do it seems like the cashier is inconvenienced by me not going through the self checkout.

Jane (In the tool room)- Just turned a bad customer service experience into a good one.

Terrance was a huge help 2 times. My parents went in to get stuff for a fence and had to come back again next day for more. Terrance was there and remembered my mom and knew exactly what she needed. Even offered to carry to the car for her.

Tools are good quality. #1 place tl get what you need from a small project to a huge building they have tools also can get what you needThis time I need it another tool box to keep my tools secure

Disaster trying to find anything. Nice lady in tools dept said they showed 7 Dewalt battery kits. After 20 minutes looking for 1 of them I left and went to Lowes and bought it. No stars if it were not for the nice lady in tool dept.

Spent $415 today and asked for help to load product into my motor home. Caesar was the associate who helped me and he was Excellent! Very careful and is an asset to Home Depot! Much continued growth at Home Depot Caesar!!!

Home Depot is one of the worst companies I had to deal with. I was told that it would take 3 to 5 days to replace my roof. It took them 5 weeks to complete the job. Contractor showed up only for 2/3 hours a day and left to complete other jobs. I called so many times to Headquarters and my calls were always ignored even by a few people who called me after I signed the contract to thank me for using their business and promising the job would be done in less than a week since they had a very selective, professional and experienced contractors Yeah!!! Right!!!Unfortunately Google doesnt allow me to post this review without assigning at least 1 star; Home Depot does not deserve even that. Simply ZERO.

I was shopping for an edger. I found the section, but there arent old school edgers available anymore. You have to buy an edger head and the power portion separately. I was having trouble figuring out which head went with which power part and needed help. There was no one in the department and walking to customer service to ask took another 10 minutes for the associate to arrive. When he got there, he didnt seem knowledgeable about the parts either. I eventually figured it out on my own - the associate just kind of stood there watching. I knocked off a star for how long it took to get someone there and another for the associate being even less knowledgeable than I was about the tools in the department in which he worked.
