Scheduled an estimate with them. They didnt take pictures or approve the estimate. Person who usually does estimates took a lunch break when my appointment was SCHEDULED. I am a day away from supposed to be able to drop off my car and have it repaired. Insurance will not cover rental until after Gerber submits estimate. No way am I using them. Very unprofessional when I went in for estimate.
So, I could give you the whole hilarious story but that does nothing for the review. Just to fast forward to the good part after a long day of dealing with someone backing into us on a mini vacation in Tampa with some family by the time we got to the claims process of picking a body shop we were playing beer pong reading all the bad b.s. reviews 😅. Based on those we reviews we made a lot of jokes about not going to them if when we scheduled the estimate Sara answered the phone. To Sara, if your reading this sorry. Sara is the only person we spoke with through the process and even sent us text every couple of days to keep us up-to-date on the process. She was professional, understanding, and courteous. We were very pleased with the work on our vehicle and the whole process.

All I can say is WOW, the customer service was outstanding. Amanda handled my claim and was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The work on my truck was more of the same .... outstanding!!! I would highly recommended them!
Sadly, I met them when my car was crashed from the rear. They were very kind, gave a fair evaluation (totalled! Ouch!) but allowed me access to it so I could remove everything I cared about. Whenever I called with questions, I was greeted by a knowledgeable individual who was happy to help. Sad time for me, but they made it easier to bear.
Staff members are nice and are understanding. They warranty their work and will stand by it. This is good because Ive had to drive the 15+ miles to the shop 3 times for different things that were wrong with my car after they fixed it up. They are quick to fix any issues you have after the initial repair, but the repair itself is seldom completed as early as they say. Their repair work is average. Id only recommend if you have time and gas to spare.
If you can find any other collision company to take your car to then by any means. Please do. Use the 1077 Blanding location instead. I was in an accident which is stressful already plus being pregnant and at first things were okay. They make twice weekly calls to update you on the status of the car. It got to the point where each status update call I was being told Pick it up today, now that changes. No pick it up tomorrow, now that changed too. Today, Sara is by far the snottiest and rudest customer service agent I have ever had encountered. She told me yesterday my car would be ready In the morning and it is not. When I called she got an attitude as if I’ve been the one promising a date of completion. She hangs up when she’s frustrated and it’s amazing no one has said anything to her yet. This is a classic case of a Collision center trumping up charges on an insurance claim and getting mad because I’m calling it out. All they said that needs to be done is an alignment. That doesn’t take 4 days to complete.
I had a guy named Demetrius came to replace my wind shield at my place of employment. It was a wonderful experience. He was very polite and professional. I could not stay with him at the car as I was on the clock working, but he took care of everything and locked my doors for me when he was finished. The work was flawless and clean, and he didnt leave a spec of evidence that he was even there when he was done. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing assistance with auto glass issues. Thank you for a great experience!

I have used this Gerber location now twice. Both experiences were very pleasant. The office staff is so friendly over the phone and in person. I received text updates and my car has looked as new when repairs are done. Id recommended this place to anyone!
Had to empty out a wrecked car. These guys were really nice. I didnt feel pressured to throw everything in a bag all hap-hazard. They even had some pretty sturdy free bags for use!
The receptionist (Debbie) obviously hates her job and just because I told her when she asked if she could help me I simply told her No I know the manager I would just like to talk to her Debbie gets all butt hurt and makes sure every time I call after that incident I dont get to talk to the manager...i still have yet to receive a call back...then she tells me to take it somewhere else....WHAAAAT!! WOW, so I cant rate this place based on the work they did CAUSE I CANT EVEN TALK TO THE MANAGER!!
The best and easiest place I have ever been to. I was checked in and given a car in less tha 10 minutes. Staff is awesome and keeps the customer up to date on their repair.
So, after reading all of these negative reviews I decided to give this place a try after a young lady rearended my vehicle to see how bad it really was...Not bad a all.*Receptionist had a good attitude*Collision Specialist had a good attitude*Mechanics did great work in a timely manner and even cleaned my car.Overall I had a great experience with this place.
So far my experience isnt going well. I think its super unprofessional to have an automated report generated that tells your customers its gonna take 21 days to fix. To me it just shows that youre just a number to these people. Then when I call they have no time frame, no reference as to when my car is going to be fixed. She tells me maybe 17 days. Hows that any better than 21??? She said they give me 4 hours a day to work on my vehicle. So my jobs about 17 days out. What? I had a bent rim and a couple panels that needed to be replaced as far as I could see. This isnt like some major overhaul. I cannot afford to rent a car for a whole month. Im starting to think they are insurance scammers.
They were fast helpful understanding and werent all about getting payment right away I loved my visit there! They gave me water and said dont worry about us boys fix everything with duck tape they made me laugh
If possible would give zero stars. It has been on of the worst experiences dealing with this company from the constant changes in deductible and repairs after the vehicle was dropped off. I was lied to on several occasions with both management falsifying documentation and claims in efforts to rip me off!!!!
Its not even deserving of a single star, but no stars is not an option. The communications is less than par. Text messages never being received, dates being moved, wrong parts being ordered. Something I didnt know when you have Progressive they come and do their own damage estimate and the repair place doesnt write that. WELL.......if the receptionist wasnt so darn rude and lazy that might have been explained to me. I go too drop off my vehicle and no information was gathered, no one even was going to put eyes on my car (which had the doors removed and was just sitting out for all to see) until I started questioning the process. THEN.......a week after the parts were sent to paint.....I still dont have my car back. (which apparently it went to paint on a Wednesday and out of paint on a Thursday. It is now Tuesday and NO CAR!!!!!! They have had my vehicle for 2 weeks. (For a door repair. Not saying it was a simple repair, BUT we had a front end collision on our truck which only a little over a week to repair) This morning they said they would have it for delivery this afternoon......but now they are saying that the part they ordered was the wrong part, oops...... and now it will be another day. Not to mention that the claims adjustor contacted Gerber and confirmed delivery for TODAY! I am paying out of pocket for a rental that keeps getting extended and extended. Another day of rental because of their mistake. I will NEVER recommend this location or this company to anyone. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to picking this company. Lesson learned for sure.
First experience. I was sent there by my insurance company. Chances of me going elsewhere in the future are slim.
If you take any pride in your car don’t take it to this location. Took my car in for PDR and as if the 3 week process wasn’t bad enough I was given my car back with horrendous spider webbing on my brand new paint. When asked about it was told that was not there responsibility to fix as they had outsourced to fix my PDR. Very unprofessional to say the least save your time and find a different place to get work done. Your car will thank you.5/11- Just too show you guys not even a returned phone call two weeks later the whole staffs full of it. Learn from my loss find a different shop.

Worst customer service experience ever. i didnt even make it to the estimate part. I cannot believe this place is USAA prefered. Very very disappointed in the way i was treated. I was scheduled for an estimate twice. Both times i show up theres no one there who can write the estimate. Very frusterating for someone who has to work and other obligations to tend to. And the the lady wants to get an attitude because im upset. I wouldnt recomend this place to my worst enemy.
Horrible experience. The appointment scheduled for wrong city. I was told someone would still come out in the afternoon. However, I was called and was told the windshield at warehouse was cracked. I had to reschedule for next day. The technician showed up late and called and said that it could not change it bc it was raining. There was no rain-only clouded.
Even with an appointment I waited for an additional thirty minutes. I can only hope that my vehicle is in safe hands.They seem to be unpredictable

My brother was scammed here, it was for an estimate and they sent one to him and the other for less money to the insurer (in this case USAA) if some insurer tells you to come and make an estimate ullele like the plague that they work for the big companies
