Great service. Very friendly staff. I have taken my bikes here for service many times. Went looking for a new bike recently. Was interested in a MT-07, but their out the door price on a MT-09 was better than everyone elses price for the 07. Ashley made the purchase process extremely easy. Not pushy at all even though I came in 3 different times before actually purchasing.

My Suzuki tl1000r has been there since November 2019 for repair work. Everytime I call it’s always something! First it was because of the COVID-19 parts weren’t getting delivered as fast. Now it’s the part are coming in slowly and we only have a couple more things to do to finish up! Only thing I needed replace was my fairings, my breaks, and small Miscellaneous things! It’s going on 2 years Mark November!!!

I took my motorcycle into this place to be repaired it had been sitting for a little while I had a rust issue in the fuel tank and asked him if they could fix it he said yes I had some other stuff done as well get the bike back start driving home halfway home the bike shuts off get it to crank back up it barely has any power come to find out all he did was wash the gas tank out with water and put fresh gas in it not doing anything about the existing rust took my $1700.00 and I still have a rust issue in the gas tank I sense have had it fixed by someone else that cost me $30 you need to be very specific when you talk to these mechanics and service writers for this company cuz if you dont theyll screw you!

Can’t say enough about these folks. We called on a Friday afternoon around 2:30 with a disabled bike on the interstate. Three hours later they had us back on the road. The price they charged was very reasonable.

This place is absolutely ridiculous words can not explain how disappointed I am. My boyfriend went to get one thing in his four wheeler fixed and specifically asked not to fix anything else. And they fixed other things and made him pay for it anyway. Things that didn’t even need to be fixed. When he finally got his four wheeler back his transfer box had been messed up by them. The owner won’t return calls and is practically ignoring him. I’d NEVER recommend them to anyone.

Brought in 2 jetskis for repair estimates. Their quote was insane, and they charged 300 dollars just to look at them. Got a friend to look at them, and he said that the good parts had been taken out. We had both working the previous year, so it was without a doubt taken by them. When I called about it, they said the parts were in a box in the jetski compartment. They werent anywhere, so 300 dollars plus a few hundred more to replace what was taken for absolutely nothing :( Very disheartening!

Walked in the dealership looking for either a Honda Grom or kawasaki z125. Something small that i can put on the trailer of my 18 wheeler so I can get around town when I reset somewhere. There were no customers in the building, I spent 15 to 20 minutes looking at the only Z125 they had on the floor. NOBODY said a word to me. They just looked at me and blew me off. So I called the honda dealership in Ladson, SC and thats where Im headed. They said they had several honda Groms in stock and they would be looking forward to speaking with me. Hopefully I pick one up today 😁

Ive got a 2005 Kawasaki zx10r. When i was experiencing problems, other dealers had no problem selling me parts but they wouldnt even look at my bike because its older. These guys had no problem looking at my bike, even fixed it the day off (which i assume isnt normal). Great people, great service, great work!

Took my bike there to be repaired. People were friendly. Mechanic did a great job! However during the repair process i was told it would be $550.00 for the repairs. I gave the approval. It took 3 weeks for the repairs to be completed and i was never updated on the progress. I called 3 or 4 times to ask what the status was through out the process and the answer was always, he is finishing some things up, should be ready tomorrow. When the repair was finally completed, i was never told. I found out by going by and asking. Then at check out i was told my bill was $1,040.00! That was double what i was told having never been told of a price increase or extra issues! The service writer could only get the price down after i confronted him about it to $740.00. SMH....

If I could give 6 stars I would. The Amazing knowledgeable staff help without pushing you into anything. Gizmo help make paperwork easy and understandable. The new owners Steph/Jeremy helped me pick out the best fit for my husband an early “surprise” Father’s Day gift. Best buying experience. Will definitely be back here for all our power sport needs. Thanks So very much.

Amazing service - will use again. I needed a tiny and hard to find part, Russel took great care to find the right part and even check on a bike they had in store that it would work. He then ordered it and sent it down the following day to Charleston free of charge. Total for the order was $3 but the service was best Ive had from a bike shop. Thanks.

Took my ATV in for its first service gave the service manager all my ATV info and also that they checked a squeaking noise well when I got my bike back they hadnt check the squeaking noise which was the main reason I was having it service supposedly changed oil air filter front differential oil and adjust brakes $349 then they had the ATV written up as a 04 when I specifically told him it was a 14 and it was still under warranty felt like they wasnt to knowledgeable on my ATV and didnt make me feel like a valued customer

Oil change,filter,and battery on yamaha bear tracker. $468. $285 labor for 3 hours. Valve stem was leaking when he brought it out,man said itll cost almost the same to put a new tire on than to replace the valve stem because of there minimum labor rate. He said $55 for a valve stem SMH Beware

Picked up my 2018 teryx they adjusted my park brake I get it home it doesn’t run properly. I call them ask them to do a diagnostic and get the response it will be 2 weeks. Piss poor service department.

Had my ATV in the shop several times for leaking gas, which didnt start until they performed normal maintenance. Spent $400+ last time and still not right. Found the issue after it leaked out half a tank of gas. They put the wrong hose clamp.After the above review the dealership did contact me and said they would do what was needed to make it right and after my conversation with them I think they would. I would have taken it back to give them a chance, but I was able to fix it myself.

Crooks in service,tell you one price then add $200 to it later.

I have bought 3 bikes now from Jay at HKSY of Orangeburg. A 2007 ZX-6R, 2010 Yamaha Raider, and this week I got a 2013 Ninja 650. Every time its been a wonderful experience and they work with me over the phone for everything since I live an hour away in Charleston. Some calls and a couple faxes and everything is always ready for me to pick up a new baby and ride it home each time. I could talk bikes for days with Jay and wouldnt buy from anyone else. I only write reviews when the experience is far outside the range of what’s expected, for better or worse. That was definitely the case with Honda Kawasaki Suzuki Yamaha of Orangeburg (HKSYO for short). I shopped locally for months in the Charleston and Summerville areas and the experience at those dealerships ranged from sales staff that were too pushy to those that were downright disinterested. Eventually I started looking outside the local area and with HKSYO just a short drive up I26, I decided to give them a call. They quoted me a very fair, out-the-door price on the bike I wanted so I drove up that weekend, cut the check and they delivered the bike (for free) within a few days; ridiculously easy and with zero pressure. Everyone at the shop was friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with. But here’s the real kicker...As it turned out, I ordered the wrong model. I wanted the ABS-equipped version but ended up with the non-ABS model. I called Ashley at HKSYO to explain the situation and fully expected to hear “T.S. buddy, enjoy your new bike”. To my surprise he was very understanding and insisted that, Hell or high-water, they were going to make sure I got the bike I actually wanted. They called around until they found the right bike, coordinated the delivery and handled all the paperwork associated with updating the taxes, title, tags, warranties, etc. Bottom line: the error was mine and they didn’t have to do anything... but they did. They bent over backwards to make sure I was happy with my new bike and I absolutely am. Ashley, Jeremy, Stephanie and rest of the team at HKSYO were amazing and they’ve made a customer for life. If you’re looking for a new/used motorcycle, accessories or service, give this group a chance to earn your business. You’ll be glad you did.

Brought a bike that had leaking fuel hose, sketchy wiring, sel, and leaky forks. Dave in service fixed my fuel line, sel and threw in correcting my wiring at no extra charge. Went back later for the forks and they were fixed in a timely fashion considering their back log of bikes to be fixed. I will be back if I cant fix it myself. Great service!!!

My experience here was second to none. I drove over an hour from Charleston, and will do it again in the future. I had been in the market for a new ATV and had done A LOT of research before I began visiting dealers to look at and talk about different machines. I would show up with my pen and notebook, and gave the salesmen a chance to give me insight on what I was looking for. My first two trips were to the two biggest stores in my area. The staff was friendly at these places, but I realized very quickly that they just didnt know about the products, or really understand what I was going to use my ATV for. I had to show one salesman that the Kodiak 700 was in fact a 4x4 and where the lever to engage it was! This is why you need to do your research, everyone! After being pretty frustrated, I looked over HKYOs website after getting a recommendation. I called the store and talked to Chris Gizmo. He was very polite, helpful, and didnt seem to be annoyed with me asking some questions and getting a few prices. I called a day later to ask a few more questions and was again treated very well. I made the decision to make the drive. While not huge, HKYO was clean, organized, and inviting. After meeting Chris I was blown away by his mechanical and spec knowledge of everything I was looking at. There was no pressure, and it felt like two friends hanging out talking shop. Their prices were WAY less than what I had received from the places closer to home. 3 hours later (sorry Chris, lol!) I made my decision and purchased a Honda Rubicon 500 4x4. I love it! HKYO has earned a forever customer.

First off their website is inaccurate! If you are going to list an item it would be nice if you had the item..I inquired about a luggage rack for my 2012 Goldwing . I was contacted by Chris a and was given a price. I called Chris back and asked about having it installed, he gave me a price I explained that I worked in Charleston, SC and would not get off until after 3:30 pm. I told him I would be up on Saturday to pay for the rack(when I arrived I was told it had to be ordered). I was told by the sales counter that it would take about one half to an hour to install the rack. So I raced up to orangeburg to have it installed I arrived at 5:15pm for spin ilex in appointment. And the service manager informed me it takes two hours to align and drill the four holes for the luggage rack. I picked up the rack I had paid for and left after talking to Chris. And telling him my thoughts of his store.THE ONLY REASON I GAVE IT ONE STAR WAS IT WOULD NOT LET ME GIVE THEM A ZERO!!!

These folks are the best for customer service before, during and after any purchase you make. Before you spend your money and/or time anyplace else, make sure you go to these folks and give them an opportunity to serve you. I did over three years ago, and have always had a pleasant professional and courteous experience with the entire team, including sales, service and the parts department.Even if you are in Columbia, its worth the 35 minute trip to see what they have to offer, and the best part purchasing anything from them, they never forget your name, and greet you at the door, and always try to accommodate your needs in timely and efficient manner. I have two Kawasaki ultra Jet skis, purchased them from HKSY of Orangeburg, and take them still for any service and parts, driving past the local Kawasaki dealer(?) here in Columbia, and I bought a ton of stuff from them in the past, but, when I found these folks, and experienced again what CSR is all about, I will continue to drive right past the other guy on I-26 in Columbia, and go straight to HKSY of Orangeburg...shop and buy with complete confidence, there are no worries here!

Excellent company! I bought a 2014 FZ-09 from there in September of 2014. The sale was quick and flawless. I take my 2007 CRF450 Supermoto and my 2014 YZ250 there to get serviced and it has been excellent service every time.I find myself there at least once a week just to hang out and thats not even to pick up parts or have my bikes serviced! The environment is very friendly. The owners, salesman, and mechanics have become very good friends over the past few years. I wont buy from anyone else. Stop your searching now. Go down there and say Hi. all the guys at HKSYO will get you squared away!

First thoughts. $75 to mount and balance 1 tire is a joke. $150+tax for a set should be the fastest tire swap in history. But as I had been forced to lock up my rear earlier that week due to some traffic chaos, riding my bike 75 miles to Charleston wasnt in my safest interests. Honestly, a little research in the area would do these guys good with their pricing.I was assured the work would be done quickly and was asked if I would be waiting or coming back for the bike; I rode in so I was there to stay until they finished. Fast forward 3 hours, I now have two new tires mounted, Im nearly $160 in the hole, my chain is the loosest its ever been, and Im regreting ever even walking into the shop. Im so glad I have to now dedicate more time to redoing a simple adjustment that should have been taken care of. They looked well staffed, so why it took so long is beyond me, but if you are going to devote so much time, at least take the time to finish your work.I will continue to take my business elsewhere, under the basic fact that the work cost twice, wasted twice the time, and was half finsihed.I am a frequent customer to motorcycle shops in Charleston such as Charleston Powersports and MotoWorkx. They are worth the drive as they are compeitively priced and get their work done in a timely manner.
