Going out of business sale was great. Still have a lot of inventory to look through. Wife got some great deals on some nice dresses.

This review is for the salon. I had my haircut today by Amanda Pressie and she did an amazing job! She nailed it, I wanted one side shaved and then did not know what to to with the rest of my wavy hair. She made a suggestion and I said that sounds good and wow it looks awesome! I will be back to her again! She also made me and my kids feel very welcome and was very friendly.

Just walked through on way to Shoe Dept Store. Continues to be very clean, friendly staff. I liked the clothing I seen. I will go to a Penneys closer to home to check out their summer dresses, here they were beautiful.

When to Jc closeout sell today, sell prices, is at 70% to 90% off. but, im sorry to see, another store closing that was around when I was a kid.

I was pleased with my visit at JC Penny hair salon. Katelyn was my stylist. She was very polite, courteous and punctual! I did not like how my color came out but she made sure It was to my liking by redoing it. Two thumps up to a stylist who is concerned about her clients appearance!

I am a very tall lady and I always order my tall pants from here and they fit and the length is just right. Always gonna buy here A+

Every now and then you run into that employee who bends over backwards to help a customer. Its a rare find these days. But I found that employee today. If everyone at this store is like this, I will continue to spend my money here. Great experience.

Its hard to find help, when you are trying to find something. Theyre not very friendly. However, the young lady that check me out was very kind, considerate, and helpful. You need more sales associate like her. Thank you.

I was able to get my hair washed and curled and I found a great deal on Liz Claiborne earrings ALL for less than $75.00 and in less than 2 hours.

Found everything I needed for my grandsons school, and at a good price.

The worst experience I ever had in a JC penny store. The sales associate was trying to hustle my father in law to open up a credit card when he was just purchasing a 15.00 shirt. I told the lady dont worry I would just pay but then she got sarcastic and said, you have a nice day bye, Im trying to help your father. I never had some one act that thirsty just to get a credit card. I will never go back and I will make it my mission to let everyone know about my experience.

Not as good as it was 10 years ago. Too often have trouble finding my sizes in too many things even though the clothes are not bad. Shoe selection is only a shadow of what it was 10 years ago.

There no one to help me in jewelry​ Dept nor at customers service I was very upset so l just left I no I waited at least 35-45 minutes no service someone call for service but still no one showed up. Sad

Went in store looking for a suit at 7:50, not knowing they close 8pm. Lady at mens Checkout counter rush me from time I got in store then insult me like I dont know how to pick out a suit. Grabbed suit and she yells and tell me its time for her to get off in 2 minutes. Manager came to lock the door and she yet still rushing me and total my stuff up and gave me a plastic bag to put my suit in. I look at her and said I would love to have a garment bag, mind you Im looking at the bags. She turns and look at them and said we are out. So Manager says we had alot of them are you sure we out, she turn look again cuts her eyes at manager and say yes. Manager went behind counter and grab garment bag and hand it to me and apologize.I really think they need to drug test this women, she act like she on something or just crazy as hell.

Sylvia is who my daughter and i worked with we arrived at 1145 left 8pmi asked for color that neither on of us goti explained to her issues with my daughters hair and she cut 4 inches off or more after she still blew her hair after i said if we get color we dont need to add heat.She has no respect for following orders and didnt care for my information of what and why i wanted a twist and set on my daughters natural hair blow outs dont last a week she was going out of town. we were separated and i shouldnt have to babysit a stylist. who expressed she was a master stylist and per jcpenny she charges more. for color and cut even if its split ends and a tape up for me.this is a lie.she didnt care and only cares to MAKE moneyplease avoid the lies if you can.choose someone else Sylvia DOESNT carei was told it looked different in the store it wpuld change after it dries

Shopping for clothes..Bday gift..We found many great deals was able to get 4 shirts and a pr.of shorts.Instead of an outfit!

Disappointed with selection of casual clothes and womens & mens underwear at this store. Ive always found everything I needed at JCP stores in MD, PA & Florence SC but the Orangeburg store is very limited.

Selection was poor. The store was dim, darker than department stores typically are. Cashier didnt want to open the dressing room in the department we were shopping in directed us to one on the other side of the store.

Beautiful clothing, right price

Sometimes friendly people in here and sometimes not so friendly. Every counter I walk up to, to check out no one is there. Im having to walk around the whole store (which isnt very big) to find someone to check me out. Wish they had price checkers in the store. The price seems to always be different than what is posted or tagged.
