While on vacation, our newly built transmission went out! They were able to fix it within a reasonable time! They went above and beyond to work with us and the past transmission place to get us back on the road! They were extremely attentive to our situation and gave us honest details, while checking in with us regularly, as to the progress of our vehicle! I was referred to California Transmissions by another shop who was booked out 2 weeks. They promptly answered the phone and were able to book an appointment for a diagnostic evaluation of my automatic transmission problem within 24 hours of my call. In the shop office, they promptly assisted me and the office staff (who I presume are technicians themselves) were professional and knowledgable. They promised a preliminary diagnosis by COB that day and followed through as promised, not just with a timely diagnosis but also an immediate repair despite a service lot that was many cars deep. When I arrived the next day to pick up my vehicle, they again promptly assisted me. They were courteous and professional and explained the problem to me in terms I understood. No non-sense. They definitely have my business if I ever have a problem with my transmission again.

My car had previously been diagnosed with no option but to replace my transmission by a dealership. I know It’s always good to get a 2nd option, and was referred to this transmission shop. I was informed later that day it was 2 1/2 courts low in fluid and all should be fine now!! And they didn’t even charge me anything!! Iam truly thankful for them and will definitely recommend them!!

They looked at my van three different times and couldnt quite peg down what was wrong. Turns out a couple of fluid changes fixed it. But they were so willing to work with me to try and diagnose the problem (classic, it was doing it before I got here). Free estimates is a rareity today and its so valuable to me.

BE WHERE THEY OVER CHARGED ME I FOUND OUT LATER . I OVERPAID FOR MY WATER PUMP BY SO MUCH IM EMBARRASSED TO SAY. I brought in my car for a transmission service.. They said it needed a rebuild..$3000 ..i only wanted a service..it drives fine..they actually told me that servicing it will make it worse..lol..really?..wont be using them

I picked up my truck after spending 6500 to rebuild my transmission and I woke up the following morning to a puddle underneath i called and spoke with Tom and he said it wasnt leaking on fri

They are really nice peaple but they said if I took my car there it would be out same day but so far they are 3 days late and they never said that they are closed sat and Sunday so it is going to be 5 days late so far and they still dont know what the problem is

Nicole and Abe plus team are easy people to deal with. Very professional from the very first call. They took a look at my car earlier than they thought they might have time to. Provided me detailed information and are very friendly. While I did not have the work performed at this shop (my car had to go to a dealer) I will absolutely bring back my vehicles to these guys in the future for service provided thus far alone. No diagnostic fees to top it for all they did. Great business!

Abe is extremely knowledgeable for when it comes to knowing a thing or about transmissions. I am very satisfied with the out come of doing business through California Transmissions. Not only is Abe and the rest of his crew good at what they do, he is also a very kind human and went above and beyond the expectations by getting me out of a tough situation.

The only place Ill take my vehicles. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy! My work has had 2 transmissions rebuilt here, my brother​ had his clutch replaced here and I had my clutch and flywheel replaced here. Theyre honest, fair and do the job right! I couldnt recommend them enough!

Honest, trustworthy, I will send my friends and family there.I took my truck in because I was having some transmission problems. I heard good things about this place so I thought I would give it a shot. Abe told me that the problems I was having might merit a rebuild (worst case scenario) and that is about what I was expecting to hear. The rebuild was still cheaper than I paid a few years back.What really amazed me is once he got in there he called me back and stated that I didnt need the rebuild and it was going to cost me far less than expected. I think there are a lot of transmission shops that would have charged me full price anyway so I think this shows the character of the shop. My truck is running great and I would definitely go back.
