This place has it all! Coffee, books, crafted chocolates, trinkets, socks… okay, it doesn’t have everything, but it has everything that matters. Their cold brew is sourced from Stumptown and it’s delicious. Everyone is friendly here and this shop has more charm than a Tom Hiddleston grin. Perfect spot for downing a coffee so you can read your new book at light speed!
Their lavender fog is delicious. This is also a fantastic place to pick up gifts or a book. The buyer is so sweet and source from so many Oregon makers. Check out the made in Astoria Book Journals!
Very friendly, nicely curated book selection, good coffee, better range of gifts/knickknacks than most bookstores. They were happy to talk about both coffee and books.Maybe the bookstore should be rated separately?, but they share the same space and both are 5-stars, so....Great place on a nice Main Street stretch
Really good coffee, and exceptional customer service. Folks here are super friendly, and go out of their way to get your order exactly the way you want it. Super cute book/gift store vibe.
Beverages we bought were good. Friendly service. Pastries were available. Located onside an interesting bookstore.
Really chill with many great hot or cold coffee and tea offerings. They also have great tasting baked goods and sandwiches and salads. They also have a great selection of books, cards, and socks!
The coffee & cookie were excellent. The White Rabbit Bookstore is a delight. Weve seen it online & finally made it there. Wonderful selection of books, perfect size for browsing.
Extremely rude customer service. Obviously being sensitive to Covid is good, however it can be asked in a more respectful way. Will never go here again or support this company and will steer people away from it as well.
Friendly staff, great location, delicious pastries and my favorite coffee around. Plus so much more with tea, kombucha, hard cider, wine and beverages on tap.
Delicious coffee and an ample selection of iced teas for a hot day. It was a lovely place to stop by to cool down with a drink and perusing the books, jewelry, cards etc.
Cute bookstore and coffee shop. Coffee togo only! (Currently)
A cute coffee shop & gift shop combo. It’s really a small space with a lot going on. Super friendly staff, great service. It’s a bit expensive for the size of coffee you get, 12 oz for $5, that being said it is delicious and high quality. It’s a personal thing when it comes to the price point and everyone’s budget is different so for me it’s a nice treat once in a while. I’ll definitely be going back.
Best tasting coffee Ive had in my life! Plus, the ambiance and books/games/crafts inside are super cool.
The teas were delicious and the atmosphere was fun and casual for a café catch up. The staff was helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back!
Coffee great, a lot of snacklike items and awesome book selection. Once a month like to take my 3 year old to pick out a new book.
What a neat place ! I like it very much ! And my husband did aswell too :)Also had a very friendly enviorment to the place i really enjoyed it all :)and the selection was good too with alot of variety of things to get. Cannot wait to come back with my husband or family members on a nice and sunny day. Keep up the great work :)-happy customer
Great social awareness, coffee, book collection and atmosphere.
Stellar place to grab a cuppa (tea, coffee, or something else) and treat your eyes to some delights as well.Lots of fun things to let your eyes wander over while you wait for your drink (if you have to wait at all), and much of Black Inks eye candy is in its decor and can be seen whilst sitting down with friends or just your own thoughts.Staff was super friendly when I was there.(Although I myself did not, this would be a great place to get neat, little gifts for people.)
I went into their shop looking for some gifts. They have a good variety of very eclectic items. I wish that the whole store was open, but just the very front part was. They offer coffee and yummy goodies as well.
Cute shop, friendly people, excellent coffee
Workers had bad attitude, and coffee didnt taste good. Never coming back
Nice Barista but the coffee was not what I like. Nice bookstore
Lots to look at. Didnt try the coffee
I cant believe I have never review this place before - it was by go-to for some time after dropping kids off to have a great coffee and some work time. I havent been in a while so I dont know all that has changed besides their dine-in is closed due to COVID, but I am sure their coffee is still wonderful. I will have to swing by soon.
Stopped by during a day trip to the area and loved black ink. Picked up a delicious latte and it was great that they had a little gift/souvenir store as well.
The coldbrew here is delicious and staff are friendly!
If youre a coffee connoisseur this is the spot!
One of my favorite businesses ever. Such a great family. I am happy to have friends there. Best coffee I ever had, and customer service and happy, calm, and welcoming environment. Very resilient and caring when it comed to its workers and customers health and comfort. Thank you.
Decent coffee, but wannabe Portland Socialist politics all over the store. This is of course the right of the owner, but if you are not political or on the center/right you will not feel comfortable here.
They have GREAT hot chocolate, always welcomed on a gray, rainy Portland day. It was probably the best hot chocolate Ive ever had!!
Great selection of plant based milks for your coffee. Perfect dirty chai. Really neat bookshop coffeeshop with gifts and books for sale throughout the shop. Friendly service.
I recently visited Black Ink Coffee together with my family, and we were impressed with the quality of their coffee. We also tried the pastries offered in partnership with a local bakery, and they were nothing but delicious! I love the concept of this coffee shop, combined with a bookstore- with comfortable seating, wonderful amount of light entering through large windows on two sides of this corner building, located conveniently in Oregon City. Since this was a morning visit, I didn’t get to try their excellent collection of craft beers and ciders, carefully curated by the business owner who explores the best local businesses and handpicks the best selection. He was very knowledgeable, and professional. I am planning to visit soon again, specifically for the beer tasting. Just a genuinely wonderful experience! Highly recommended.
The coffee here is amazing!!Just a heads up, the shop is currently set up for contactless ordering so theyre only only accepting cards at the moment, as I found out earlier when I tried to pay with cash (oops!) But its definitely the best coffee on Main Street. Highly recommend stopping by if youre in the area!
Hot Chocolate is awesome, and the Book Store is great.Go visit sometime.!
Cappuccino was really good. But a couple tables outside would make the experience so much better.
Great coffee and pastries, plus you can shop for something special on your visit!
Perfect perfect perfect! Espressos were perfect, magical seats available for kids, wheat free banana chocolate muffin was amazing, employees all pleasant and beautiful. Gifts and books selection are great. Not a huge assortment but plenty of the best of the best including northwest bird guides, mushrooming guides, kids books, Oregon souvenirs.
Never had a bad shot of espresso from here!
This place is so cute! When I saw all the different milk alternatives, I was offered a sample of the ones I was curious about (oat and hemp milk). I ended up ordering an oat milk latte (delicious!) and a tomato pastry (also delicious!).While I was waiting I browsed their shop and ended up with a bag full of local goodies ranging from socks to earrings to coasters. I will be back for sure!
Such a cute little coffee shop. Has so many things to look at and such awesome things youll want to buy. Coffee was ok. I ordered the Apple Pie Latte. Didnt taste like apple pie but was good none the less. Definitely going back. Super chill staff.
Coffee done right, with a number of blends to choose from, and friendly staff. The shop is in a middle of a bookstore, so you can browse your next read while waiting for your coffee order.
Super great coffee shop with vegan options available too! The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is fun and relaxing. This is one of my favorite places to grab coffee with friends. I seriously cant reccomend it enough.
This is the BEST coffee in west linn/oregon city by FAR. Stump town blends plus amazing food options. Nestled in a quaint book shop, it passes my vibe check! The staff are brilliant! They really know whats what when it comes to bean tea. I come here all the time and am always bringing my mates! 11/10!
Welcoming, cozy atmosphere! I got a chamomile tea with steamed hemp milk and it was delicious! They also have yummy vegan cookie options. Lots of fun, quirky gifts and books for sale too. The tables were situated nicely and in a way that allows you to be comfortable, settle in with a friend or come and do homework. Barista was friendly, patient and accommodating.
A very cute place, with all of the cute and unique stuff youd find to buy at a coffee chop. Im happy because they offer oat milk and Hemp milk!!! So many shops still do not and they need to. The coffee is delicious and well done. They pay attention to detail, alot of Alice in wonderland themes. Fun place. To go and ample free parking on weekends. Its nice that its on the edge of downtown.
Black Ink has delicious coffee (hello, Stumptown) and the cutest and quirkiest gifts around. My sister and I have a yearly tradition to go there for Christmas stocking stuffers and to enjoy a delicious beverage. The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff are friendly. This is a great place to stop in at if you are in town!
Quiet and hip spot! Great service! Keeps two stars for those qualities. However, loses 3 stars for price, quality, and quantity. I got a double shot espresso that was more like a single shot, cost $3.00, and it did not taste good at all.
Black Ink is my go to coffee shop in the area if I want to chill out with a friend for awhile. The seating isnt too extensive but its usually good enough that you can find somewhere. The coffee itself is really good. Nowhere else Ive been really pays attention to you when you ask for an extra hot. In the back they have a little area for kids and the rest if the shop is great for local gifts. They have books and shirts and everything in between. It kinda reminds me of a souvenir shop youd see at the coast. Im a big believer in this place and I hope they continue to do well.
Amazing Kombucha, I love all the books, looking forward to being able to shop again.
A combination book/gift/coffee shop. The curious small gift items on display are definitely worth a look as you sip on some coffee. Treats look interesting but I didnt sample them.
Great gifts and good feel to it. My cappuccino was really nice, too. Lots of room but still feels cozy.
Stumptown coffee to start, fabulous! We sifted through the buttons, then walked around looking at the books, body products, jewelry and other novelties in the store. There is a kids section and I heard child drinks announced when ready, so maybe different sizes. Eclectic cool furniture, beautiful cabinetry, all around great coffee and ambience.
Fun spot in Oregon city
Great coffee and staff. Books, too. Check out the schedule of different book clubs.
Very unique place. It is connected with the white rabbit book store. The coffee is well made.
Such a sweet little unexpected stop! The environment was safe, warm and welcoming. The barista was friendly and informational. And the coffee was to die for! I will definitely be returning in the future. Anything to support the fall of the patriarchy ;)
I love the coffee, the pie, and the amazing variety of locally sourced gifts. Did I mention the well-curated books? For a small shop, an amazing selection of Must Reads.I do wish the staff were more friendly. I can barely get them to reply to me. Maybe they are all introverts? IDK, but they need to up their friendliness factor to go along with the prices. The coffee is rather expensive, but oh-so-good.
This is one of my daughters favorite hangouts. Its an environmentally conscious coffee shop/book store right on historic main street in Oregon city.
Ive been spending a lot of time here and I love it. The people are awesome. I have a hard time trying much on the drink list because everything I try is a favorite. I especially appreciate all their milk substitute options.
Lovely coffee shop and gift shop. Really cool and well done renovation, the best in downtown OC. Almond croissant is quite good. Great coffee.
Very fun bookstore and coffee. They also serve kombucha although I did not try any. The kids area no longer is there though
Great place to feel welcome and comfortable! Fantastic coffee finally!!! Oregon City has deserved a place like this for a long time!! They have a great mission that makes me happy to spend my money here! Thanks!
Artistic and orderly coffee shop/book store hybrid space! Excellent, high quality coffee plus loads of other beverage options for all ages and sorts, practically (cider and beer, hot chocolate, Kombucha...)
My new favorite coffee shop in OC. The coffee is great, they have hemp milk as a vegan option, and a cute kid area. Ive already purchased several unique gifts at White Rabbit inside and will continue to patronize. Try it out!
Loved it. Been twice. Cute and fun environment with the gift shop and very colorful whimsical surroundings. Very relaxed staff with good coffee. Best place in Oregon City for a good cup of coffee.
Great coffee in a cute little shop. They share space with a book store/gift shop. Quirky and cozy atmosphere. Skip Starbucks and go here for your next coffee date.
Great coffee. Great atmosphere. The bookstore inside is very quaint.
Great coffee shop. Their menu has been expanding lately. Its got a quiet but fun wonderland atmosphere. The gifts are fun to browse while I wait for my order.
Super cute book-store and coffee shop. Small pastries and nibbles too. Overall an excellent place to hole-up and work on a laptop.
Neat coffee shop with unique merchandise. Probably won’t be coming back. Didn’t appreciate the loud and negative gossiping by barista.
Coffee was so good. Also had a bagel and cream cheese that was good. Love drinking coffee and shopping at the same time too!
Wonderful experience and such a welcoming environment. I love the we welcome all decals on the doors. I hope to make this my hangout spot because I actually feel comfortable here unlike most of the establishments in OC.
Great coffee, good vibes, and they let me take my puppy in
This coffee shop probably has the best coffee in the Portland Metro Area. They put a lot of time into training their baristas and that means excellent, artisanal coffee. They also have a great selection of teas, ciders, and beer. Plus a few good food and snack items, including some vegan Sift cookies. Definitely my favorite place to go SE of Portland. Safe and inclusive space!Bonus: Theyre attached to White Rabbit Gifts! Lots of fun, Portlandy items, as well as books, shirts, mugs, bags, and other great gifts.
This place is adorable! Im so excited to have this place open near me. The tea is also amazing! Thay take the time to brew it properly for you and serve it perfectly made! I cant wait to come back! The owners are alsp super nice and friendly, and you can tell they take a lot of pride in their store. Def recommend!
Fantastic new coffee place in Oregon City! My Stumptown latte was delicious. The owners have outdone themselves with the remodeled space. Its charming and welcoming. I will be back.
Great service. Drinks are good, and the staff are really friendly and accommodating.
So delicious! Best coffee I have ever had! Also if you have any aversion to milk, they have all kinds of alternatives that are phenomenal!
Nice coffee place that also has CBD sparkling water drinks numorous scones.
Great place, nice staff, great coffee, but 16Oz is the largest option... I ended having to buy two coffees, too expensive
Cool shop with friendly staff and they serve a consistently excellent cup of Stumptown coffee. It’s not just the beans but how it’s brewed. They also replace the coffee in their carafes every two hours, which is extreme to me, but hey, I’m not complaining.
Mask police
Best coffee shop in Oregon City. Straight up. 😎💜🦄🌈✌️🎶☕
They always have kombucha on tap and have delicious stumptown coffee. :) Quirky, fun spot. Love them.
Great atmosphere, delicious coffee, fun books and gifts to browse, comfortable seating. I enjoy the location, also.
This place is so cute and everyone here is very nice. Coffee is good too and they have vegan breakfast options.
Great coffee, super friendly and helpful staff, and interesting things to buy.
