I come every year and always greeted so politely from the scheduler to the ladies at thee front desk and even the technicians. I love the doctors there and always greeted with a smile. I moved out of state and came back for my visit 3000 away. The care is awesome. I had cataract surgery on both eyes I can’t say enough how pleased I am with the offices. I will be back and I highly recommend the office. Thank you .

While it took a while to get an appointment here, it was well worth the wait. In my experience, everyone from the front desk to the doctor shared the same high standard of patience and service. I arrived right on time for my appointment and couldn’t complete a very short bit of paperwork before they brought me back to an exam room. They were very quick, thorough, informative, and kind.

I went to for a contact lens exam. The doctor was great and the appointment went well. But trying to order contacts from them has been a nightmare. I’ve called several times and they only called back once, which I missed. I returned their call, but again, no one answered and I was left to leave more messages, and again no one has returned those calls. I eventually gave up and just ordered contacts from somewhere else, which was frustrating.

I was treated with respect, care and a welcoming word by Dr Weber and all the support staff who assisted in examining my eyes. They take the health and safety protocols very seriously for both staff and patients. I do highly recommend the attention and care they provide to patients.

After experiencing flashing lights with my eyes closed, I called and was given an appointment immediately. Dr Radmall was very kind and helped relieve my anxiety about a detached retina. He explained what I was experiencing was a normal part of aging but he would keep an eye on it for a few months until he was comfortable with its not resulting in a detached retina. Very happy with EyeHealth Northwest!!

Everyone was doing their job taking all safety precautions. I felt safe. Each person I saw was very diligent and knew their job well.

Major administrative error by the scheduler. They end up scheduling my daughter with the wrong type of provider and didn’t realize it until we showed up. It took almost 30 minutes to fix. Then the provider was also running very late, said her had an urgent patient before us. Our routine eye exam for a 10 year old took almost two hours. Ugh. The provider we saw was nice and good with kids though, just the other stuff left a very bad first impression of the office.

I was so pleased with my eye exam. Dr.Gudgel is an excellent doctor & I felt confident that he will help me get my new glasses & take care of any eye issues I may have in the future. Maryann in Oregon City

Great doctor. But my husband did have a problem this time. He was scheduled for several tests which were not all done and the doctor could not complete the exam because of that. He discussed his problems thoroughly and several things that might be done or not done until the rest of the exam was finished. It was decided not to change anything for now. He apologized and said he would have to make another appointment. Another appointment was not available for several weeks and at an office that was further away from where we live than the Oregon City one. All in all were very satisfied with the doctor, but not the results of this appointment.

Yall are miracle workers!! I now have bionic eyes and couldnt be happier.Hats off to the office staff, nurses & all the doctors. I love my new vision, the lenses work great, and I can drive again!!!!!!Thank you so much, Beth McKinnon

I remember positive experiences when I was young going to Eyehealth NW but this time was not good. I went in for a routine glasses/contacts eye exam. It felt like a lunch line in the waiting room. Then the doc I saw rushed through the exam and scared me at the end by telling me I had a thinning retina and gave no explanation as to what I could do to fix it. I lost sleep several nights over that experience. I found a family eye doctor in Oregon City for a second opinion, got the care I need and then some..he is phenomenal! He said that should’ve never happened to me. I will not be returning.

Very backwards in that Eye Health does not have a portal that can be shared with others like Legacy and OHSU. Makes transferring records difficult and makes it difficult to transfer like from OHSU and Legacy. Hope they will eventually get out of the dark age. The services themselves were excellent, just the lack of a shared record system is disheartening

I was very impressed they were constantly cleaning as i waited. i only waited 7 minutes before i was called. both the assistant and Dr explained what they were doing and Why the Why was very important to me Took their time did not rush the exam or me. My eyes were dilated and the assistant walked with me outside to my husband. She made sure i was Ok. Thank you

I had a different doctor this time since mine had retired, Dr Kucala. He was really good and listened to what I was saying. I had a sty on my eyelid and he gave me great advice on what to do and it is now gone. I have always liked Eyehealth, have been going there for years. I do have to say the wait time has been greatly improved, I was in and out in less than an hour, usually it was 2 or more.

Very well run and clean. I really liked my eye doctor Dr. Lee! They squeezed me in to get eye glasses after my exam! I’m glad I could go to them through my kaiser coverage!Also I needed my glasses quickly and they speeded the order through, for which I’m so grateful for!

Eye Health Northwest, Oregon City, It took 5 trips back to the clinic to finally get my glasses because they kept screwing things up. The doctor wrote down the wrong specs, the lab messed up a couple of time, the person suppose to fit you didnt even try. It was one of those [here is your glasses have a good day]. The glasses had the nose piece out of adjustment as well as the ear frame. The staff just act like they didnt care about us, just look at the clock when it is time to go home. It was not all the staff, but too many of the employees had a dont care attatude. I will never go back to them again.

Super kind folks from the front desk staff (she gave me Oregon City tourism tips) to Dr. Lee, who was excellent. He’s a contact lens specialist it turns out, very lucky for me. The optometry assistant who helped me out was entirely kind and got me a fresh pair of lenses as the ones I wore in were overly old and causing me trouble. This place is huge, friendly, and efficient. Really glad I stopped in.

Wait time is ridiculously long. Had cataract surgery and 5 weeks later still have blurry vision. Takes about 3 days to return phone calls.

The only reason I got an appointment with EyeHealth Northwest was because Kaiser appointments were booked up for a couple of months and they were referring patients to EyeHealth.I was able to secure a routine checkup appointment rather quickly. Prior to booking the appointment I looked through the staff list and chose a doctor. When making the appointment I was assured it was with my choice of doctors.On the day of the appointment I found the check in process easy and the facility was clean. My experience during the actual exam was not good. The majority of the time and all of the exam was completed by a less than knowledgeable assistant. I was requesting an updated glasses prescription for computer and close up reading. The doctor (not the one I had been promised) made a very quick visit at the end of the appointment, looked at the chart, chatted briefly and left.I than went to their glasses department and ordered a set of bifocals. I’m now waiting on the 3rd pair. First the bifocals were made for far distance and close; the 2nd pair had the computer & close up far too close; I had to schedule another visit to get the correct prescription redone. Hoping the 3rd pair of lenses are correct, still waiting for them to arrive. I will stick with Kaiser from now on.

I have insurance with the $500 coverage and $20 deductible. They set me a bill for 201 more dollars??? This was a 10 minute eye exam and did not even get glasses. How can you charge $700 for that and why wouldnt you say that in advance? Never go to this clinic!!!

Satisfactory, routine eye exam. Appreciated OD’s recommendation that rather than getting new glasses based on the 5/24/21 Rx that I first consult with MD at Retina NW about current status of my cataracts and ERM as they may be the reason for my worsening general eyesight.

Had about a 90 minute unexplained wait-time to see the physician. When the doctor arrived he half-heartedly joked that I should have booked my appointment 3 months earlier and would have had no wait time. What he didn’t know was that staff had not checked on me at all during the 90 minute wait to communicate a delay. Instead, staff started closing down their offices around me and turning off lights which made it feel like I was forgotten. I was 5 minutes from walking out when he and his scribe arrived.Would recommend other locations over the Oregon City one.

I’m actually quite concerned about the covid precautions. It’s clear that they thought about the bare minimum with temperature checks, etc. and minimizing occupancy but.... both the doctor and the assistant that were assigned to me that day touched my face (and just around my eyes) with bare hands, shared a keyboard that was not sanitized between uses and handed me the eye paddle that you use to cover one eye at a time without sanitizing it. Once I was done, they just placed it back in the bin for the next patient (or I can only assume at least). I asked them if the eye machine (you know.... what’s better? 1 or 2? 1....or 2? That thing) was cleaned between patients. The assistant said yes although I am not sure I believed her given what I’ve listed above. She shared that they also have the air purifiers in each room that run for several minutes between patients. Was she saying that with pride??... I’m just taken aback by the inconsistent precautions they seem to think about...

This is a friendly, clean, efficient, and professional facility. Their Covid precautions were thorough. My care was of an urgent nature, and I had complete confidence in my doctor. I’m happy to say my outcome was excellent.

Very wonderful experience! Dr Cusala and staff are wonderful. Professional, friendly, and thorough.I also visited Dr Bock for my 3 year old’s ophthalmology appointment. Dr Bock and staff were very caring and gentle with him. They were able to keep him calm throughout the appointment, even with eye drop application. So thankful!!

I came in somewhat Iof an emergency situation after hearing not so good things about this place but it was the first one I could get into. I was very pleased with the way I was treated and the care that I received. I will go back and probably make this my regular I care provider.

I have the upmost confidence in the care and treatment of my eyes that I get from Dr Charles Bock. Everyone at the EyeHealth Northwest offices have been very professional and friendly.

I arrived on time and was kept waiting for 30 minutes before I was called to begin the tests for my appointment with the Doctor. I realize the reasons for the wait during COVID-19 takes extra time, but 30 minutes is quite a wait. Emma, the tech was very pleasant and helpful with the pre- appointment preparations for Dr. Yoken.Once Dr. Yoken reviewed my test results and heard my description of my current conditions, he immediately explained the cause for my problems and requested that I see Dr. Flanary for follow-up. I have an appointment with Dr. Flanary in 3 weeks, which I think is pretty quick, under the circumstances.

Staff is very effective, efficient and courteous. Attention to detail, and caring for patients are hallmarks in their treatment of clients.

Frames were overpriced for what they were. Even after Insurance, had to pay $600 for two pairs copay!!@

Dr Flannery did my 2nd cataract surgery today. At the surgery center almost easier than having dental work done.Dr Flannery is a class act. Knowledgeable, courtesy, efficient. Mavra, the scheduler is at the top of her game. All so refreshing in todays world of who cares.The nurses are also top notch.Glad I dont have 3 eyes but if I did I know who to see. Ha!

I had iridotomy laser surgery with Dr. Greylish. He was very kind, and explained everything before I could as the question. I really liked Dr. Greylish and would definitely recommend him.

UPDATE: I finally received a message from the manager for me to come in and they would try again to fix my issue. We started over with a new pair of glasses that were wider than the previous ones, and that pretty much fixed the issue. There is still a slight distortion, but WAY better than what it was. The whole staff were very nice through the whole process, so that is a plus. Also there was a very sweet woman, April from the milwaukie store that was really helpful. I think understood how frustrating this had been.I went in for an eye exam, and new glasses. I had three eye exams, and they tried to make my glasses 5 times with no luck. It was over a period of about 2 months, right before the new years holiday. They were supposed to get back to me again after the holidays, but they failed to do that. I chalked it up to a $200 mistake. So I have a back up pair that I could use in an emergency that arent great. I will never go back, and would NOT recommend going there, if you want your prescription done correctly that is.

We went in today for my daughters 6 week check up. Upon checking in I am told that we have a $400 something balance! I was shocked! I asked what this balance is for! Vikki at the front desk in Oregon city is amazing and she is the only reason I am not rating this a 2 or 1 star! She calls the bookkeeping and they tell her that the glasses we got for my daughter back in November was not covered by insurance! Vikki didn’t stop there she kept digging to find out the issue, because we were quoted a price for the glasses and paid over a little $100 at the November appointment which is what we were quoted! Vikki figures it out because eye health northwest wasn’t in network and so insurance denied! Vikki was able to figure this out just by me showing her our old insurance card as we have a new insurance this year! So I asked how is it that you guys quote me a price AFTER KNOWING MY INSURANCE, and then come back 3 months later and trying to charge me a little over $400 more! There is no way in hell would we by our 8 year old $500 glasses! She got the manager Amy, which she did some looking and said “yes I see where you were quoted that price you paid”. Amy tells me that she has to call bookkeeping and then would call me back today! Here it is and still waiting for a call! I called her late afternoon only to get her voicemail of course!! When you tell the patient you are going to do something follow thru with it! Very frustrating experience today!

Office staff are friendly, assistants are pleasant and efficient. Most important, doctors here take time to listen and they are very knowledgeable. I take medication for an autoimmune disorder that can impact eyesight, and the doctor here is always up to speed on the latest research regarding the potential side effects. Highly recommend.

My appointment was before lunch, so everything went smoothly. No one was tired or rude. My technician was polite, efficient and easy to talk to. She was able to answer all of my questions to my satisfaction. Dr. Weber was personable, and also easy to talk to. He answered questions to my satisfaction. I will recommend this practice to others.

My daughter was having eye pain and headaches, they got her in the same day. Everyone was so caring. The doctor was very compassionate and helped with recommendations on what to do next if symptoms persist. I highly recommended them and will definitely be going back for any future eye care needs.
