Shaun and his staff are always professional and courteous. This review is late since I been going to the store for 4 years now. I purchased several mowers, saws and other equipment from this store because they absolutely stand by the product they sell. This small store doesnt claim to be a mega store but they sure do a better job that one. Thanks Shaun!
Great customer service! I have an old riding mower that Stark St has worked on-the power to the wheels stopped working. Their customer service rep was able to help me diagnose the problem and even talked me through my self repair, saving me several hundred dollars and a couple of months wait.
This is not the first time at this store. My tools I have purchased there are in the best working condition possible. My chain saws and now my Stihl blower is being repaired. The starter pull rope goes out periodically and has to be replaced. Totally satisfied with the service!
Very mediocre customer service. Its hit and miss. Might be great one time and poor the next. Email and web inquiries are often simply not responded to. Purchased three John Deere mower/tractors in recent years. Last mower, I drove to the Stark St location for better experience.
They used to be great. Recently I’ve come away empty handed every time. They don’t have stock and they are always backlogged for repairs. It’s wasting my time to keep driving out there for a quick chore.
They have a great assortment of Stihl, Honda Powered and Echo products, they also have good mechanics and have done repairs to my Toro Zero Turn.
Stark Street Lawn & Garden in Oregon City has served our family well for several years. 2 years ago, we were looking for a powerful battery operated hedge trimmer, and they recommended the Stihl HLA65 to me. Stark Street Lawn & Garden is great! They have a convenient location and they have a wide variety of products. Their staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. Go see what they have - or call first: they can give you lots of information over the phone.
These guys rock! We needed a small, simple mower. The Toro we wanted was at their other store so they gave us a 3 day transfer time. We got a call the next day. The mower was ready for pick up. It worked like a charm. I pull start every time. We had to cut down a jungle of grass. Their price was better than big box and they put it together for me. So good! There guys also take care of my chain saw needs and sharpen my garden tools. Thanks!

Great helpful service they were busy during ice storm clean up but still took the time to get my saw going in about 5 minutes once it was my turn, Thank you and you didnt even make me feel stupid

Good experience, though they refused to service my chainsaw because it was not their brand or something. In anycase, I did get quality service on my mower.
I had a weekend manager help us find a belt for a riding mower, he mentioned they didnt have it in stock, but could order it. I simply asked for the part number, because we needed it like yesterday. The weekend manager, answered with, So you can buy it somewhere else, NO! This is not the customer pleasing atmosphere that I am accustomed to. If this is company policy per Sean, (or Shawn) then this needs to change. A business builds customer loyalty by helping your customers get the part they need, even if they dont have it in stock. I emailed the VP. He said this is taken care of. I do wish them muck with future customers -from a business owner
Excellent service
They might do good work, and have good mechanics. But if you have your lawn mower go out and your grass is so tall your live stock wont touch it, expect it to be twice as tall by the time the mower is finished. IT TAKES THEN FOREVER!!!!!! I am an independent handyman and use costomers equipment often. They take their stuff here and it takes them forever to get it back.
Rethink your policies. I got no problem paying for a broken saw to be diagnosed. I paid you for that. Trying to to charge me $45 to put my broken chainsaw back together? Why not just let me take it all still a part and see for myself? Bad policy just caused you to lose thousands of dollars of future business from me. I would have taken the bar of my chain saw and disposed of the rest of my saw for you and bought another $1,000 chain saw from you.
I take all my business here for my landscaping company. Best place around.
Dont buy anything from those guys, they are ripping people off. Coastal sells stihl equipment for a lot cheaper. I will never go to them again, such an dishonest people there.
