Great work and wonderful team who always goes above and beyond for the customer.
They do good work and prices are way cheaper than the dealership. The customer service can be improved.
Had my 2011 328xi here twice so far. First time for a footwell module replacement and coding and once for a full transmission replacement. When I took my car to a nearby dealer in orland park for the transmission and the dealer wanted just above 9000 for the transmission or 7800 just to replace the mechatronics..... no thanks. Bavarian Auto Werkes was able to find me a used transmission with almost half the miles I had on my original for 1/3 of the price for a new one from the dealer installed. Both times I have been here were pleasant experiences and theres nothing negative to say, they are polite, knowledgeable and transparent with costs and what needs to be done. For anything I dont feel comfortable working on myself I will continue to bring my vehicle here for service.
They do not allow you to bring your own parts. They want to add a mark up on parts and the labor.I meant exactly what I said. There are several location that stand behind their work which is labor only. The company in which you purchase the parts have a warrant for the parts especially during these unprecedented times when people are trying to save money. Those are the companies that I prefer to support.
Took my 2006 bmw 325i for repairs last year and they did a great job! My car still drives/runs great, and it feels like new. They have great customer service and answered any questions I had.
If you have a BMW, this is the only shop you should bring your car to. They are family owned and care about doing a good job. They are fair, honest and always do their best.
Overall Service is great. I still recommend this place over Bmw any day.
Highly recommend,I have all my BMWs serviced there several times, always do a great job. Quick and reasonable
Specializing in BMW &Mini, this is the only place I bring my 328. Ryan, the owner, is a former BMW head mechanic & an expert on these cars. He will make repairs at a much less costly rate than the dealer, & will send you back to the dealer when he knows its a covered repair rather than charge his clients. Ryan and wife Emily own the business, and they are friendly, accommodating, & very knowledgeable. The service here is outstanding. I highly recommend Bavarian Auto Werke!!
During my first telephone contact the receptionist made no effort to understand my windshield issue. Since Bavarian Auto Works doesnt replace glass I was given the bums rush [Im sorry I cant help you *hangup*]. She never found out I also needed a good deal of repair. Sadly, I wont be calling again because she was so rude and abrupt.
This shop was recommended to me by another BMW owner. My repair came in %40 cheaper than the dealership while still using genuine BMW parts. The difference was that Bavarian only replaced what needed to be replaced instead of the BMW way of just replacing an entire system. Smart repairs beat expensive repairs every day. Going back for my next service, definitely!!!
Great service. I asked to speak to the mechanic to answer a few questions, he was readily available and their prices were not bad.
I have been taking my 7 Series there since 2012. Professional and courteous, and the prices are always fair. My car still runs like new with 180000k on it! They are the best.
If you are just looking for a general inspection of your vehicle it will cost you $130.00... something they didnt tell me. A BMW dealership will offer you a free 32-point inspection regardless of where you purchased your vehicle. Simply call and make an appointment. Your welcome
Our car broke down and it was towed to Bavarian Auto .They were quick and very knowledgeable. They got our car fixed in a timely manner and we left a very happy customer and would highly recommend Bavarian Auto Werke.
If you want someone with the expertise of the rigid soulless dealer, but you also want them to be helpful and human. This is the place to go for your BMW. I had lighting issues with my 750LI along with a few other electrical issues and I had them done at 50% of the dealer cost. And funny thing is that the dealer was going to fix (replace) the wrong thing! You walk in greeted with a genuine smile and when I came to pick up my car I was greeted with the adorable cottonball (their doggie). Great experience in all aspects and highly recommend!
Well I have to say at first I was slightly skeptical about this place partially because their title says Volkswagen and Audi not sure whats that all about. However they do work only on BMW vehicles and other brands such as Mini and Rolls Royce. I must admit the service was fairly quick and top-quality theyre mechanic Ryan definitely knows what hes talking about. They do want to get paid for every minute they work on your car but its definitely worth it and cut my bill in half compared to all the other places. The lady that answer the phone she is unusually upbeat but if thats the worst I have to deal with Ill take it ANYDAY! My M5 is running like new and still terrorizing the highways. I will definitely come back if I need to and recommend to who ever drives a BMW and has issues.
Poor service with unjust charges. Would not recommend to a friend. $500 for a battery, give me a break.
Always a pleasure to do business with. Great work, good prices.
Amazing people friendly, informative and honest. theyre very patient with their customers with a Friendly Smile. I had a 2008 BMW 550i 2nd or 3rd gear was hesitant and stuttering. my cousin told me about Bavarian Auto Works in Orland Park. the first thing I did was driving my 550i to them for a repair. they fixed the Problem, thankfully. after I sold the car I bought bmw x5 35awd 2011. the transmission blew out and the first thing I did was get the car towed to BAW. now Im waiting on a replacement and repair. I wouldnt have taken it to BAW if they wernt amazing. forever and ever I will take my bmw there for repairs and maintenance.
I moved up to Northbrook, IL. I tried to find someone to work on my BMW up here. Ive been to two dealerships and a private mechanic who specializes in BMWs. Maybe Ryan, and his wife, raised my expectations so hi that nobody else can match them. I had bad run in after another. I will drive over an hour each way to just to have this family work on my car. They are both polite, friendly, and I have NEVER gotten my car back without it fixed. I have never had to call him back to tell him that I am still having issues. I have always felt that his prices were fair. I felt that he treated me professionally and made me feel confident in his abilities. IF you have a BMW, take it to these guys. Far cheaper than the dealership and he knows far more than any other mechanic. For the record, they are 7-0. I have three BMWs. Seven major repairs and no complaints. Thank you to a great husband and wife team!!!
Always have a great service experience and Ryan and Emily are so friendly.
Took my car here after the original (high-end luxury auto) dealership butchered a repair that originated from their shop (the dealer, not BAW). Vehicle was unsafe to drive (how about the steering rack was not bolted to frame?), enuf said! Ryan and his delightful wife allayed my fears AND more importantly, **fixed my car as if it were his very own**. I would trust these people with my life. Which, essentially, I did. Told everyone I know that has BMWS (like, all of the doctors I work with) to come here. Oh, and the prices? 100s if not 1000s less than a BMW dealer. The diagnostic fee goes towards the repair cost. Love these people, THE END.
Simply......cant say enough about the work the passion and the attitude. Nothing better in my twenty years of driving BMWs.
Great service and prices, very friendly
