My daughter has returned apple air pods twice because the volume goes out. Apple does test them and replace them. Customer service is great. I just cant figure out why there is always so many people here. I just cant believe everyone is buying. You pay too much money for these devices too keep going out. I decided to buy Beats from here and so far she hasnt had any problems.
If you go there, try to get Andrew with the curly black hair. Even though they usually just assign you a person, Andrew was the best apple guy Ive ever seen. He was able to help us solve our problems in just a few minutes.We had come for a refund on a phone we had just bought, but we were just outside of the refund period. A manager the week before had said that if we returned the phone, we would lose $240 due to the trade in we had given them. It took the manager and two other techs thirty minutes to figure all this out. They had mentioned that we might have gotten a gift card for the $240 to use in the store, but they couldnt make the computer cooperate. My daughter and I came back a few days later because my daughter wanted the new pink iphone 13 so bad, she was willing to pay the $240 difference for the new phone.Enter Andrew. Click click click and within a few minutes, he handed us a gift card that we were able to use toward the new phone. As a mom, it was such a relief to see my daughter get exactly what she wanted without feeling like we had been cheated. Seriously. Remember the name. Andrew. He says he has been there for six years and has no interest in being manager. He just likes helping people. I feel thats a guy you can trust.
Horrible experience. I have a bricked iPhone and I dont remember my iCloud password. You cant warranty replace a phone if you cant provide the password, which is frustrating but I guess prevents theft. The tech seemed confused by this situation and didnt have any solution. We tried swapping SIM cards and a few other things, but he wasnt able to reset my password. Now, Im locked out of my account for up to 13(!) more days, and Ill face a further delay for shipping of the new phone after that. I need my phone for work and navigation. Surely a password reset shouldnt be this hard? The replacement phone was RIGHT THERE in the techs hands, but he wasnt allowed to give it to me. This isnt a hardware problem, this is a procedural problem.
I came in today to get a charger for my Apple Watch. While in the store I realized that they had just released a newer model and I wasn’t quite sure what model I had, so I asked a “customer service specialist” Patrick (if that’s what you want to call them) if I could trade my current Apple Watch towards an upgrade to the Series 7. The gentleman asked me to see my watch so I handed it to him and he informed me that I in fact had a Series 1. So I asked what the trade in value was towards a series 7 and was told 70 dollars flat.I contemplated getting the watch but decided to leave with just the charger and base for the Apple Watch.I ended up going back not even an hour later because I decided I needed to buy the series 7. So I sat down with another “specialist” I explained the whole “I was just here and I decided to get an Apple Card and buy the newest watch. Here is my current watch as the trade in for the 70 dollars towards the new one.” Now this guy comes back and tells me there’s no value at all for it. After explaining to him that I had already been quoted he said it’s a manager problem. So we waited around for this clueless guy to call an even more clueless manager over. And again all she told us was regardless of what was promised it was our problem not theirs. We tried to ask the initial person and he denied it with a horrible attitude. Claiming he never even touched the watch but the only way I even knew what type of watch I had was because he showed me. The manager took on a horrible attitude. Didn’t want to hear any of what we had to say. The very least they could have found SOME means of accommodation. Instead we got some pretentious mouthy piss poor attitude people not willing to do their very simple jobs. It was so bad I just went online to order it myself to avoid going and giving a lousy employee any kind of commission. I would 100 percent not recommend this store for any of your shopping ever.
The service was friendly and efficient. This was my first time doing a web order and I had multiple orders to pick up. The associates patiently walked me through the process and let me know what to expect.

Poor customer service, made an appointment a day in advance to purchase accessories for my AirPods as I needed a new charging case, and was going to pick up some ear buds for them as well. When I arrived I was told that this was a Genius Bar service and I would have to wait two hours to be seen. Absolutely no effort to provide further assistance. I mean how hard is it to sell me a new charging case, I could have paired it on my own. Learn how to assist your customers Apple of Orland Park.

This is Not what I expected from a great company like Apple. Today, I had the Worst experience of my life; more than four hours, multiple store managers and got no where. I wish there was a zero or negative star review. This has to be the worst apple store in the tri-state area. I received a defective MacBook and brought it back within the same day and they refused to issue a refund. Bryan is the worst manager I have ever worked with. Alison and Lisa are both horrific lying managers. They say in order to return a product it must be fully functional when the reason I was returning was that it wasn’t functional. I spent 4 hours in the store fighting with these horrific embarrassing customer service professionals. I then took my defective MacBook to the apple store in Oak Brook mall. Oak brook mall gave me the refund within five minutes and really knew the meaning of customer service.PLEASE AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS!!!! They are horrible!Never shopping here in my life again.
Called to check if something was in stock, said I will go by to purchase. Get there, waited 20 minutes in line only to tell me I had to make an appt to purchase a product from this store, so I left without a product. Dumbest customer service ever. At the very least teach your phone reps to let people know they have to make an appt. Wont ever revisit this store again.

The man checking us in was rude, I ask to speak to a manager. She made it seem like we were wasting her time. My mom who is 70 was so upset she started crying. We went to a phone store in the mall and paid 50$ for what we made an appointment for them to do for free. Don’t these employees have mothers? Very sad, can’t even put into words how awful it is to be treated that way.
You show up as soon as the store opens and you hear the next apt is at 330. Then your told to have a seat and you sit and wait. When these empties are walking around cant find their customer and then you see like 6 employees just standing around having. I had am apt 2 weeks ago at 4pm waited an hour and half If this wasnt for my daughters phone I would be going Android all the way too many problems with apple and customer service!
This was a horrible experience. The manager Allison was absolutely no help when I was told to come to this store. It was also in the notes that I was sent there. No one there helped me and claimed they could not give mangers info either. Allison is not management material.
Quoted $29 for a repair under apple care warrantee, was Bait-And-Switched up to $55 and they refused to honor the original quote stating the hairline fracture was accompanied by a bent frame, which I certainly could not confirm. Never getting another apple care agreement or using this location again.
So I came in on a Wednesday night 8-4-21 to be told that I have to see a Apple Genius, and have an appointment to do so. Now once the lady checked for appointment I couldnt be seen until Friday 8-6-21 @7:45pm. So now Im here early 7:15pm Friday for my appointment, I cant check in until 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment. Now its 7:30pm, Im checked in only to be told there is a wait, and go wait in a area where at least 25 others were already waiting. PAUSE, No social distancing is being used, so I waited away from area using Personal Social Distancing Responsibly. Finally an Apple Genius comes to get me, he saw my airpod said that I have to get a replacement, ok cool. Unfortunately for me, the right airpod replacement is out of stock in the Chicago land market so now I have to call Apple Support to get this replacement completed. I say this to say I showed the lady on Wednesday, they knew that I needed the right airpod pro replacement, so why not tell me that then? Other than Wasting my time on Friday which could have been avoided.

I had previously made some purchases and the earbuds needed adjustment. I got help with the earbuds and was able to return the phone charger with no problem. The staff was very helpful.
Aside from the half-dozen workers who are standing around watching the manager run around like a chicken with his head cut off… this is the worst store in the I’ve been to when it comes to meeting appointment times and coordinating walk-ins. Expect to wait 30 minutes minimum longer than the wait time they tell you.

I came for a return but had scheduled an appointment at the Genius Bar for a lost AirPod. I was quoted an time between 1hr15mins to 1 hr45 mins, no problem I understand the wait. After sitting for so long I go check on my appointment and was told I signed up for 3 hr wait. No way am I waiting for 3 hrs the girl showed me the estimated wait time. The only thing they can offer is an I’m sorry that doesn’t replace my time wasted!! Very unorganized
Make sure you buy a warranty for you high priced items. Because you hope you want have an accident. Repairs without a warranty is very expensive 😥

BEWARE! I took my daughters Ipad to the Orland Store for repair. The battery would not hold a charge. I was told even though the IPad was less than a year old (9 months), our warranty was invalid because of a hairline crack on the screen. I was also told the IPad could NOT be repaired and I would have to pay for a replacement. I purchased my daughter a new charger cable from Target and now the iPad works perfectly fine. I believe the fake diagnostic check the technician pretended he ran was a farce to get me to buy a new iPad. Im outraged at the waste of time and energy taken to come in to this store.

This is by far the worst apple store I went to.First we had to wait in line for the genius appointment. It did not matter that the appointment was scheduled and that we arrived in time. We had to wait for 45 minutes for someone to examine the phone. Once that was done, it was deemed that the phone needs a new screen. Repair takes 45 minutes, and you are given the time when it is going to be done. One would think you just come and take your phone, but nooo. This time we had to wait in a separate line for product purchases and that took another hour. All in all, the visit to the store took three hours.Worst store ever

Appointments here are a joke. I had an appointment but they treated it as first come first serve, so I ended up waiting almost an hour AND they let people who came after me go first. Other apple stores don’t have this problem.

The six classes were wonderful and helped me to use my phone in ways that Id never used a mobile. Small class sizes and patient instructors took away my insecurity about being over 80 years of age and interested in use of technology. I am buying a 12 Pro to assist me with the pictures section in the book that I am writing.
They give appointment for you and when you come on time they ask you again wait with same walk-in people. No respect for your time.

This store used to be good. However, when I come in to ask you for help and then you direct me back to customer service even though I tell you that customer service directed me to the store then we have some problems. That is pure laziness. These products are expensive and are not worth it if I cannot just get some nice service. Treat people like you appreciate your customers rather than making them feel like a nuisance. I can switch my whole line of products over to a different brand where it just resorts to customer care because the need to have these stores are pointless.

This is the person you want to stay away from. Worst customer service by this person. She was very rude and herrased me for asking legitimate questions. Like why are people in the store in couples and why are we not allowed to go in together. Why did the person who made our shopping appointment tell us that appointment is only for 1 person. She didnt even let me finish the sentance and yelled at me to leave and not argue. Seriously how does people like this work in customer service. I hope what ever trouble she is going through in life gets better and she can remember that she is a human being .

I had my iPhone 6s under warranty and it stopped charging and wouldn’t turn on. A female employee at the Orland park Apple store located in the mall told me that they couldn’t replace it because the phone was bent and then I proceeded and took my phone to the Apple store in oak brook where I got great customer service and they replaced my phone no problem. If you have any issues with your iPhone then I would not recommend going to this store because you will receive terrible customer service.

Very great customer service when i went in today on 12/01/2020 the Apple genius named “Paul” was very helpful and polite answering all my questions and making be thankful for having an Iphone and made sure I left on a good note i would definitely recommend going to this store thank you again.
I had an Apple Update on my phone on 2/5/21.. the following morning my Wifi and Bluetooth stopped working, both were grayed out and not allowing me to turn them back on manually under my settings. Of course I believe the whole “update” thing is to purposely mess your phone up, in order for you to buy a newer more expensive phone, as I know I am not the only one this has happened too. What a coincidence that I had these errors the following morning, especially when I was using my Bluetooth in my truck the night the update took place.Drove an hour to Orland Square Store to get it seen by a technician, of course they tell me “this was not due to the Update, Apple doesn’t have the power to do that. This is a deeper issue and we advise you buy a new phone.”This is insane, thank Apple. Very satisfied knowing rumors are true.

Apple is a joke . I bought my husband a Mac book 6 months ago. It just shut off on him . He went straight to the orland park store and they didnt have anyone on staff to help him so he booked an appt. For the next day . Next day they take it in back and come back a minute later and say water damage 800 dollars to fix. They are stealing peoples money!!!

Bad experience. I took my phone to the store to replace the battery. The same day the phone stop working. I brought it back (30 miles driving each time) and they told me that the phone cant be repair. So now after two days and 120 miles I dont have a phone! Thank you Apples genius :(

I have not been to an apple store during the pandemic and do not Know how the line or process runs, staff and security were rude at time of me asking how the process is. I definitely will not be returning to this apple store and hope staff and security are retrained for better customer service skills . Bad staff leave a bad image of apple hiring and training processes.

I had an appointment to replace the logic board. Store manager refused to take my laptop in for repair because I can not wear a mask. They offered to sell me a new laptop, but told me that they won’t repair mine without a mask! I have been very loyal to apple and own several of their phones, computers iPads and a AirPods. #ItDoesntPayToBeLoyal!
I was at the store on a very busy MLK holiday Monday. Dan helped me out tremendously. He was kind, caring and very knowledgeable. You could tell he really cares about his job and was happy to answer any and all questions I had. He is certainly an asset to your company!
Ordered an iPhone at 8AM for 12:30PM express pickup. After I wait in line for an hour, they tell me they still haven’t been able to ready my item and that I need to wait and get in line again. I blame Apple for this stupidity.

Horrible staff! I had to replace my phone using Apple care the whole time we were treated with disrespect. They didn’t set up my iPhone. I still can’t use it because the techs refused to help me any longer saying I could figure it out and when I asked to talk to a manager I get kicked out. Don’t go here save yourself the headache and grey hairs this store will cost you.
