As many of you, I am working from home and taking the kids to school on my old Iron Horse Mountain bike. After my wife decline to get a new one, I took it to Advanced Cycles for repairs, and for only a few bucks, I got a ”new” Iron Horse. The people at Advance Cycles did an amazing job! Here is my Story!In midst of this pandemic, the bicycle industry is at an uproar and new bikes are out of stock everywhere. Knowing that was the case, my wife and I decided to shop around for her new road bike! haha !! We went everywhere, Kyles Bike Shop, Orange Cycles, Davids World Cycle, Epic Cycles in Clermont etc. Seriously went everywhere. At each of those bike shops, the conversation lasted no longer than 2min, we dont have bikes her size, and we were in and out.When we got to ADVANCED CYCLES on Semoran Blvd, it was a completely different story. We had a 20-30min Conversation with Lazaro about what we were looking for and what we actually needed. He was out of stock on bikes her size as well, obviously, but he took the time to go over different options with us and help us nail down the right product for my wife. Even though he wasnt making a sale that day. That speaks volumes about the customer service at ADVANCED CYCLES!! He even offered to order a bike for us, putting a deposit down, and paying the balance when the bike arrived. This was not offered by any of the other retailers. The color bike that my wife wanted wasnt available at the time so we didnt place an order for one at the time.To end my story, while a was there looking around, I saw a Prince Disk that was my size, probably the only bike in my size available in the greater Orlando area, so we jumped on it and bought it!If Lazaro wouldnt of taken the time to talk bikes with us for as long has he did, we wouldnt of purchased from ADVANCED CYCLES. He made sure that we understood what we were buy and why the bike was a suitable upgrade. Service is included with ADVANCED CYCLES for an extended period of time. I think as long as I own the bike, but dont quote me on that.Also included with the purchase is 100$ off the RETUL bike fit through one of his partners, Advanced Fit. I met with Rob Murray for close to two hours. He is a guy with noticeable experience in the cycling field and was a great help in helping me nail down the proper form to achieve maximum efficiency on my bike. From my experience you have to be pretty careful when selecting the right bicycle shop. If you’re lucky you can find one with an incredible mechanic. If you’re really lucky, as is true with Advanced cycles, you can find one with passion too. These guys are the best. I simply can’t say enough to show my appreciation for all they do. Their most recent build for me was a BMC Teammachine SLR 01 with Campagnolo Super Record EPS. Although I’m tempted to frame it and hang it on a wall, I’m going to ride the wheels off it smiling the whole time…

Phenomenal service that got me back on the road! I was out for a ride today on my 1985 Nishiki road bike and experienced some brake problems. I walked in with the bike and the technicians kindly and professionally spent time to adjust my brakes and the front wheel, which Id not noticed was loose. I am so grateful for their skill and thoughtfulness to get me going again, and safely. True excellence in the fine tradition of a local bike shop that serves its community of customers!

This place is AWESOME!! The staff are Great! They were pleasant, welcoming, informative and Honest! Not to mention timely and knew what they were doing and cared. They have a returning customer for sure!I called a different bike shop at Waterford Lakes and the staff wasnt pleasant and wanted to charge me $85 just to LOOK/EXAMINE my husbands bike. Something was wrong with his rear wheel, I explained that I knew what the problem was and they said they charge that because they would EXAMINE the whole bike and just were not very good with customer service.

Fabulous service. We tried and so did the handyman to switch the seat. Dropped it and picked it up next day. The technician helped me to load the two bikes in the car, filled sir and took care of the breaks. Wanted to go in to pay the bill expecting to pay 40 dollars. Was astonished to be waived off!I have bought one bike there before snd will not go anywhere else again.

I originally stopped in at Kyles on on Primrose on the way back from playing golf. They asked me to stop in with my actual bearings because they said there were so many different sizes that they would have to match them. After getting home I went to Advanced Cycle as it is closer to my house and they told me that as long as it is the smaller crankcase size the complete bearing set they gave me should work. It fit perfectly and my bike is not squeaking when I pedal anymore. Now I know that Kyles just wanted to sell me on the service, when I can do the work myself. Thank you Advanced cycle!

I brought my bike(grey and orange bmc ac02 alivio hybrid 2017) in for service around a month and a half ago. There was a particular clicking I noticed in the rear wheel which was the reason I brought it in. They also suggested replacing the tire, which seemed normal. They were a day late on finishing work, and it felt like the only thing they did was replace the rear tire. The clicking in the rear was still there, and when I rode it to my car after they gave me my bike back: the rear tire was flat. I wish I noticed it at the time I would have mentioned it when I went back to readjust my saddle height. I was still uneasy about how my bike felt riding the past few weeks, so I took it to Davids World Cycle for a tune up 2 days ago(7/20/2020). I call them to replace the rear tire because I had gotten another flat, and they call me the next day to tell me the rear wheel hub had THREE LARGE CRACKS in it, and I am lucky I wasnt seriously hurt. It appears the only thing Advanced Cycles did was up charge me for a tire and replace it, I doubt there was ANY tune-up after finding this news out. I bought this bike from Garet when he worked at this store 2017 and have loved every minute of it, however Advanced Cycles has lost a customer in me. I am upgrading to a serious road bicycle in a few months and it will not be with Advanced Cycles. Also, you guys have a $50 deposit from me for bike cleats you never called me back about. Please do me a favor, look my name up in your system and cancel that. Davids World Cycle assured me they will save the old wheel, and I will be attaching a picture when I get a chance.EDIT(8/18/2020): I have attached the images. These are the cracks that went unnoticed in my service. They looked over the wheel enough to upsell me a new tire though. Very nice.

Laz was amazing! My family and I started bike riding every night, so it was time to invest in new bikes (ours were REALLY old). A friend recommended us to Laz and we are so grateful she did. My lower back and knees had been bothering me for a while and I was not sure why. While trying out different bikes, Laz immediately noticed that my seat was too low and informed me of all the side affects that can happen if your bike is not positioned properly. I’ve had my bike for a while now and no longer have that crazy sharp pain in my knee (hallelujah!). He also recommended a great seat and safety accessories while we were there. My husband and I stayed talking with him for at least an hour and he gave us amazing tips. We did not feel rushed or pressured at all. Highly recommend!

I went in a few weeks ago to have them look at my back tire on my bike. It was wobbling and bouncing when riding and I thought it had something to do with the rim. As soon as I showed them they knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it for me. I came back the next day to pick it up and because of the easy fix they didn’t charge me a dime. I came to the store 20 to close and no long faces. By the way I was looking for a simple part and ended up with a set of lights and a new seat. Great experience, great selection and great service.This is a second visit to this store a year later.A few days ago a tire on my bicycle blew out. I left my house with the intention of buying a tube and doing the repair myself. When I got to the store, the person who helped me asked me where the bike was, he offered to do the repair and I said why not and I returned home for the bike, my bike has been with me for about four years and I had never made any check only daily use. I decided to do a general inspection without knowing what to expect. They called me to pick up the bike when they promised. Needless to say, I had a bit of anxiety not only because I didnt know what to expect but also because cycling has become my favorite hobby. I have to say that not even when new did it feel like now. In fact the average speed increased a mile and that is a great achievement for me. The most important thing about this place is that they make you feel like you are a regular customer. My bike compared to what you can get there is insignificant but for me it is the best and they treated it as if it were the most expensive. They gave it to me very clean and they were super careful and professional. If you want a first class treatment this is the place it does not matter if your bicycle cost you 50 dollars or 10,000 the treatment will always be special.

After loosing a few lbs by lifting/jogging for almost 2 months, and after getting positive advice about the sport from my lovely neighbors, I decided to try the sport of cycling; boy let me tell you....Im hooked!! I love it!!! I wanted a bike with a smooth ride, without an overly aggressive geometry,fast and responsive. After riding for 3 days The Scott CR1 exceeded my expectations. For this rookie, my bike handles like a dream. The Shimano 105 group, shifts great and eventually wont be cleaning my wallet for an upgrade later one. This Scott CR1-20 is awesome.Customer service during my visit at Advanced Cycles was very pleasant; they answered all my questions and concerns. I tested about 4 different bikes and to be honest, I got into the problem of deciding between aluminum or carbon, but after talking for a while with Lazaro (Owner) who elaborated about the pros and cons, the benefits of the store and told me straight up “if you dont feel comfortable, I wont sell you any bike in the store to make money .I went ahead and jumped to the dark side!So, as a trainee, maybe I went too high on the type or price of bike but, I decided to go all the way with a carbon for many reasons (quality, components and durability). I can say that this bike will keep me in the sport of cycling for a while. THANK YOU GUYS!!!

Nice bike shop with quality bikes. I went there one time asking about a used quick release rim I bought off craigslist because one of mine was stolen. They were nice enough to put my old tire on the new one for free. A few weeks ago I was very interested in a Specialized Sirrus but they only had the extra large in the color I wanted and I needed a large (last years model). Ended up buying a bike online with the same specs. In hindsight, I wished they would have had the one I wanted in stock because you know they will take care of you after the sale and it was a nice bike. I do think they need a larger selection of bikes. Great place and helpful guys.

After searching for the past few weeks for a good bike and excellent service I finally made contact with a store that is a great mixture of business and the love of sport. I understand that businesses need to make money, but as someone who is just looking at getting into road cycling I didnt come across too many stores that are excited about getting people on the road. Laz and his team definitely went the second mile to give me a great experience in buying a bike and learning basics in setting up to hit the road.I am so thankful for all they have offered me. Talk about a stand-up group of guys! Every time I go in, even without a heads up, they all will be able to take some of their time to spend answering any of my bike-related questions. I also stop by to say hi every once in awhile and they always ask how my bike is doing, or make me feel at home. The comfortable environment is what makes me want to come back and not only do business with Advanced, but also consider them family.

Went to pick up my bike and noticed that the new tire they had installed for me was flat and then they charge me for the bike tube that they had damaged. The original tube never gave me any issues at all so it mustve been damaged when they replaced the tire.

I went longer than I needed to go without a bike because of these guys. They had the parts in the store the whole time. Always out of something and always taking too long. I would have had to wait longer if it werent for a nice employee named Steve but the rest of them I dont like. They are weird on the phone and have just bland personalities.

Advanced Cycles is a great place to get a really nice bike. They carry top-end brands but will match you with something that fits your riding style and budget. Laz, the owner, is a great guy and will set you up with what you need. Dan, one of the sales guys, knows his stuff and can guide you to the right bike, too. The repair guy, Shawn, is personable and very helpful. Adv Cycles has built two bikes for me, and I highly recommend them.

Guy was completely unhelpful and the quote he gave me was absurdly high. Also he recommended that i buy a department store bike, like a Royceunion, he said! Unbelievable! He wouldnt even hook up my back brakes for me which literally would have took 2min i just didnt have an allen wrench and he tried to sell me one. 👎👎👎👎👎

My mountain bike had the front rim in such a bad condition that i google for a nearby shop in the Semoran area to service it and Advanced Cycles came up. These guys or I should say, guy, Sean, went OVER AND ABOVE. While visiting in Florida in our RV our 5 bike Thule bike rack was not doing well. It was all cattywampus. I though it was broken but not quite sure based on all the plastic around where it was having an issue. I called Thule and got the usual answers. I then found Advanced Cycles. Sean was very helpful. He suggested I come by and let him look at it and he could determine if it was broken. I did and he took photos then volunteered to help with the warranty return. He talked to Thule for me, followed up with me daily, and had them ship him a replacement. When the replacement showed up he helped my son put it together.This was for a bike rack that we purchased in Oklahoma. It was not their responsibility to help me with this yet they took their time and effort and helped a single mom with 6 kids wade through the warranty return process with Thule.Rest assured, when we need to replace a bike if we can hold off till we get back to Orlando, we will definitely give them our business.

Small shop with limited product. Employees are a little pushy for sales and not good listeners. Instead of trying to satisfy a customers needs they always want to tell you what you need to do or what to buy for their own benefit and not yours, even after researching products/items on my own. Customer Service is friendly but pushy. Ive experienced this everytime i went in.

The sales guy in this shop wanted me to ride the first bike that I saw even though the bike was size S and I repeatedly told him I was a size L. I guess he thought that when Ill get on the bike I miraculously was gonna buy it for the excitement! If you dont know anything about bikes they will throw you what ever they got not even caring about your size or needs just to make a sale.

I have bought more then a few bikes from Laz over the years and my experience has been exceptional! I would highly recommend!

Went in for them to put a chain on my bike instead of calling me because I didn’t have the right piece on my chain they slapped one on there and charged me for the chain and the installation so instead only $11 I ended up paying $32 wouldnt be as mad if they would’ve just called to tell me instead of just putting it on

Garrett & William are so friendly and helpful. Fixed my husbands tire today and gave us some tips on trails in the area. Will return.

By far the best bike shop i have ever visited in my life time, they treat you just like you wanted to be treated by a bike shop they dont try to sell you something you dont need like other bike shops. they tell you straight up whats wrong with your bike or if you are looking for a bike. they are very easy to talk to and very fun great job guys...
