I knocked the lens out of my glasses and I will tell you, you need both of them. With the lens in my hand I went in and I was greeted by the nicest people. I was a walk in but they assisted me promptly. Anthony was professional, great customer service, caring, he enjoys his job and helping people and it showed. WOW, I wish I received that everywhere I go! My glasses are good as new and I can see clearly with both eyes to type this review. Anthony was amazing! My little sister lost her glasses in the middle of drive from Houston, Texas. We were stressing trying to find a place who could help us out last minute. I called first thing on a Monday morning and Anthony assured us we could have glasses ready same day. He knew who we were when we walked through the door, he was so nice and attentive. We picked out 2 frames and he had a pair of glasses ready in 40minutes and had the other pair shipped for us back to Texas for no extra charge. Anthony really saved the day and we were able to enjoy our trip thanks to him. Definitely recommend this place!

They use to be okay but now under this new management or whatever they call it are horrible. Dont waste your time they make u wait terribly long wait times to just have your glasses fit. And then take for ever to get anything done.

Let me start off by saying Anthony is amazing!! Had two bad experiences with the staff here on separate occasions, in 2019 and 2021. After the last experience I told myself I wouldn’t be returning here. My interaction today with Anthony changed my mind! I lost my glasses and he made the process so easy to reorder them, and was so understanding and sympathetic to my situation! Thank you again for all your help! 4 stars though because the rest of the staff could take some pointers from Anthony.

This was my first visit to Eyeglass World, and I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! I went on a Tuesday around 4:00pm, and I was literally greeted and taken straight into see the Doctor, before I could even start my paperwork! I got plenty of help choosing my new glasses, and I cant say enough compliments about the entire staff there. The Doctor was Fabulous! She even took the time to teach my 12 year old grandson a little. The store manager was terrific, he made sure I was happy with my visit, and AVA was jus FABULOUS! She helped me choose my lenses, and she was quite courteous, friendly, and skilled. I am very please and will definitely be a regular customer! I will also go in on Tuesday afternoon when they are not so busy.

Was told at first that we could get my glass same day, that didn’t happen. Then was told if we called to pay over the phone in the morning the glasses would definitely be ready by noon. They were not! Now we’re told another hour and a half, but they’ve lied so much by this point who knows! Do NOT go to this place, they’re nothing but scam artists!

I was very pleased with the time spent in fitting me with my new glasses and the knowlege shown. I am waiting for my custom glasses to come but great glasses are worth waiting for.

Great experience from beginning to end! The girl in the office was so sweet and made my 8 year old feel comfortable and safe while I went in for my eye exam. Everald was the also very nice. He was super helpful and attentive. The younger dude with the cool glasses (forgot his name but he reminds me of my little brother from NY) was also very helpful and informative. I worried because of some of the old reviews but I’m happy I took a chance and went anyway. Also the glasses selections weren’t too shabby. I found some cool frames. Overall 10/10

Eva and the vision doctor are excellent professional, very attentive and Kindly, and helps me to choose my new prescribed glasses, I leave the store very happy the day I brought it.I gave them 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 that day.Today I came back to get my 2 prescription glasses and 01 prescribed contact lenses and Im so disappointed.Lack of attention, one of my glasses is not okay, I cant see clear and the employee try to convenced me that its okay and my brain will accommodate with it. Also one of the glasses I brought is for the brand BCBGMAXAZRIA thinking it was original, and the employee gave me a box/case of Vera Bradley and when I asked her for the correcty one, she said for me to call her back any day that she will try to get one case for me, like she will make me a favor. Really? I paid almost $1k for my glasses, one didnt works well and then they didnt have the ORIGINAL case?The cases didnt have any wiper and looks so cheap.I will definitely not recommend this place any more and for sure will never shopping over there again.

Warning is not a strong enough word. I was there 3 times because my glasses didnt fit right and didnt feel right and saw 2 different I doctors I was shocked when after 2 additional months I went to a different eye doctor told I had to blown cataracts That would have been visible when I was at 20:20 because of their poore attitude poor excuses the manager yelling at me and the female optician telling me how her life is harder than mine cause she lives on a farm....I quit. Everything was cloudy and had a haze. It was getting worse daily. Headaches on top of it. Since October I have spent 4 months losing my eyesight. Scared I would be blind soon and their so called doctors saw nothing. I paid over $500 during the exams and on products out of pocket.The Times I visited and bought glasses and contacts from October until December were weekly. I finally took action and began complaints and their answer when I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint was to offer to make new lenses for me for free after my surgery. Because of their incompetence I have not been able to drive for a month And will not be able to drive for another 2 months until my surgery and new prescription glasses are done. Had they done the right thing I would have been able to still drive while having each I done. I have been assured by 2 reputable doctors that the size of these cataracts show that they would have been seen when I was at this horrible store. The employees are friendly and when needed will help fit my glasses if broken etc. Ive been going for the past 3 yrs and am very disappointed with how the team is so unorganized. Either their low staff, have poor management skills, and lack of communication. Last year I went in for another yearly check up for contacts and glasses. On that Saturday the doctor called out, so they had someone else on staff. Contacts were not fitting so went through a couple trials. Never once did I get a call back. Coming back again, this year went to get another script for contacts and its been almost 3 wks to even get a call back for my trials. Nothing. I understand some scripts do take longer but not even ONE call to follow up or let me know its on the way. So I called this Tuesday pretty upset since this is a ongoing problem. The manager said he will give me a call back... 3 days later still not even one phone call back and this isnt the first time Ive called and someone said they will get back to me in the past couple months and never returned a call. Considering Im paying out of pocket, and this isnt cheap. Really poor skills in communication and organization in this store. I would recommended to NOT go to the store on East Colonial.

In spite of the negative reviews, we had a very good experience with Eyeglass World and excellent Customer Service! Rianna first assisted me on the phone with a rare issue and needed to get approval from the GM, Everald. Everald went above and beyond. He handled our situation excellent and my Dad was able to get an updated Prescription filled in Bifocal lenses. Juan helped my Dad, who is 91 years old, who was very patient and knowledgeable. Melina helped us when we picked them up. My Dad seems happy and can read much better now. Everyone gave great Customer Service and seemed to work together well. So, give them a try. They are very reasonable and really do want to make sure you are comfortable with your new glasses and leave happy.

I went over a month ago paid almost $400 for new glasses with anti glare on only one of my glasses I was able to take a pair the same evening without the anti glare . I call this morning to see why I haven’t received my glasses, the person who answers giggles before telling me my glasses are ready to be picked up, so I ask why I didn’t receive a call or an email I was told I was called on the 31st and that was it . No email, no second phone call because I never got a first and they just wasn’t going to give me my prescribed glasses that I paid for unless I called about them . They are unorganized and unprofessional I would not recommend to anyone escpecially anyone over the ages of 20 they don’t have patience and they are not considerate of your service . I will not go back and I will it recommend .

Not only staff was fast and accurate, while taking precautions for Covid, but they even rushed our glasses, accommodating us, so we didn’t have to drive there again to pick them up. Highly recommend! My experience was amazing!! I picked out two glasses for the price of 1. Now, one have to understand that the lenses are pricey depending on your add ons which is why mine came out a bit pricey, but worth the price for two frames. Don’t think you’ll be getting two glasses with prescription and add ons for $100 lol!! I ordered my glasses at 3:30pm and were ready for pickup by 6pm SAME DAY! Their work is amazing and Pamela helped me out a lot; very friendly person. I’d highly recommend this location! 😁

Store is unclean, dirty, different doctors all the time store Gm if he is I think his name is Everald Facey is unorganized didn’t know where my frame was and seems as if he is thelicensed Optician when he is not. I would rather the professional handle me who knows about optics. Frame boards has missing lights not to mention how dirty the bathroom was and smelled real bad. Store is ran down and needs better management. From the manager to the associates need to be properly trained. I will never shop again there for glasses.

Anthony was amazing! I had no intentions on purchasing my Lens at the store but he went beyond to make sure I walked out satisfied and back to 20/20.

Pick a different location. This is the worst location I’ve ever been to. I have been a patient at Eyeglass world for 10 years and this is the only location that is physically dirty, messy, has employees who are rude and constantly singing and dancing while attending patients. Doctor was respectful. But they shipped me the incorrect prescription contacts and I almost had to beg for them to give me my own prescription.

Deemed “broken beyond repair” by sams club. Took it here and they fixed it right up!!! Saved me having to spend over $100 in new frames. They are lifesavers for me ! Can’t recommend them enough for eyeglass repair

Our son is in Orlando pursuing a great opportunity and if it werent for the wonderful people at Eyeglass World he may have missed out on it. When tested for a job requiring a certain visual acuity he came in just shy of the threshold. He was told that to be considered he would have to get his eyes retested after getting a new prescription, but that he only had until 6:00 that night or by 10:00 the next morning at the latest. The staff at Eyeglass World listened to the situation and could not have been any more sympathetic, accommodating, efficient, responsive and thoughtful. The store manager, they eye doctor and the optical technician were exceptional in their service and care. We walked out with two pairs of great glasses for a very reasonable price. So happy to have found Eyeglass World and the wonderful people that work there. Thank you so much.
