This place is AWESOME! My family and I had the pleasure of eating here last month (Sep 2021). We had a dining reservation, which is recommended due to being so popular! We ordered the Minnie kitchen sink. It was large enough for for people. Our server was great as well. We will definitely be going back!
This is a very popular place and you pretty much have to have reservations (and book them 60 days in advance)... They used to have a to go counter just for ice cream but it has been closed since late 2020. The food is good, burgers and sandwiches (nothing fancy) but the big draw is the ice cream specialties, especially the kitchen sink. This sundae comes in a sink with 8 scoops and a ton of toppings. They have a smaller version with a really cute Mickey or Minnie sink that you can keep.
The food was great! Really love the grilled cheese. The desserts were amazing, but Id probably pass on the cookie fries again and try something else. Otherwise it was a great experience.
Another great restaurant at a Disney resort (Beach Club). First, the staff was wonderful and very friendly. We had a larger party and did try to get us all together but it just would have backed up the wait for more people so we just split the group up. The service was almost over the top. I swear my drink didnt get past a quarter empty before it was being filled up again. The food.... Wow! Great burger, fries were good and the desserts were phenomenal. My only small complaint is the onion rings were a little greasy. If you can get a reservation, this is a great place for the family.
Simply amazing food and ice cream. Super friendly and helpful staff. The resort is beautiful as well with one of the coolest pools ever. Disney can be reached via bus, boat or gondola.
Def split their sundaes! It’s huge. Not my #1 spot for Disney Ice Cream but a good second. My only complaint would be that the sundae has too much whip cream for my taste. The inside is cute with pastel colors, and during COVID they distance the tables pretty well. I heard their togo service is open again so maybe you don’t have to fight for a reservation. The ABSOLUTE best thing on the menu is the loaded tater tots😍😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥🔥The cheese on the tots is 10/10. The bacon on the tots is *chefs kiss* and I don’t even like bacon usually. If my stomach had more room, I would have ordered the tots to go in addition to the tots we had that night.
Love love love this place! So much fun! Our waitress was so nice and just what we needed after a long day. Of course we got fan favorite, The Kitchen Sink dessert, which is HUGE. Says its for 4 people but really more like 6+. The price of $35 isnt bad when you consider what a dessert for each family member would be individually.
Excellent food and ice cream and the staff was great! We got the Minnie Sink and it had vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream topped with every topping they had! And you get to keep the souvenir bowl! We had the Kitchen Sink last time and it was awesone! Definitely recommend coming here on your trip to Disney - Make a reservation ahead of time!
Went here back in January and it was the best decision we made on that trip. We wanted a really good dessert. Before ordering our desserts we ordered something small to share so we got the tater tots. They were delicious! Im going to have to try to recreate that recipe at home. Onto dessert! I had a Brownie À la Mode and it was exceptional. If you get a chance to go to Beaches and Cream I highly recommend it! Service was awesome too!
The food is salty, but why come for the food when it’s an ice cream shop. The french dip was good, but salty. The Reuben was good but salty. I’d say the Reuben was better than the french dip. The AuJus was okay, and you guessed it, salty. No Way Jose was extreme peanut butter and tasty. Easily can serve a family of four. Family next to us got the Kitchen sink. Holy Moly … that’s more ice cream and sundae than anyone or family needs.
The food is good but come here for the ice cream. Coolest ice cream place I have ever been to. They sell one called the kitchen sink, that is served in a kitchen sink bowl haha its massive. Service is outstanding truly above and beyond experience. Highly recommend!
The new setup at Beaches & Cream is great. Dining room is easily twice as big as the old one.The fries were just as great as I remembered, but the veggie burger was uninspired. I think it could be greatly improved with a Beyond patty rather than the Impossible style they have, but that’s a personal preference.Long story short: Still a great stop at the Beach Club, but not exactly worth the wait without a reservation.
A great place to get some wonderful desserts, and cool off from the summer heat. Its located at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and I highly recommend checking it out if you get the opportunity. If youre feeling daring enough, maybe you, and a couple of friends could give a shot at finishing a sundae they call The Kitchen Sink....eight scoops of ice cream, and every topping they have, including an ENTIRE can of whipped cream!
Burgers and soda fountain soda was good there. I could eat dessert because we were stuffed but Ill go back again just for desserts. They looked so yummy!
Great lunch today! Shared a tasty grilled cheese sandwich with fries & had yummy butter pecan sundae for dessert! Exceptional service!
Soooo good..and excellent staffing accommodations were all over expectation
Always really good, and three different kitchen sink ice creams! I had the patty melt, which isnt on the menu anymore for some reason. Also, they have counter seating for walk ups.
Great ice cream shop. Nice vibe in the place like a classic parlor. Menu has loads of options for shakes and sundaes.
This was super fun. Not sure how they can say this feeds 4 but we did our best. Still left nearly half in the bowl. One of those fun experiences that should be done. Very different feeling during this health lock down, but manageable nonetheless. Would definitely go again, just wont get the over the top Kitchen Sink next time!
Brian from Portland, ME was our server and he was AMAZING. He was very helpful, offering great suggestions, and had all 8 of us at the table laughing every time he came by. FANTASTIC service, great food. The only thing we didnt like was the grilled cheese which had cream cheese on it. Overall, great experience, wonderful staff!
Fun and great atmosphere. Excellent food. Amazing ice cream. MAKE RESERVATIONS AS SOON AS YOU CAN. The restaurant is very small and you will wait or be turned away if you dont have a reservation. So worth it!
Steffi was amazing, she was on point for everything. They were so busy and she managed to listen to all my kids request even when they liked to talk all about their day. She made our experience there better than some of the fancier restaurants we visited on property.
No. Whatever this monstrosity is. Just no. This use to be one of the sweetest little gems on Disney property. It sucks now. If you’re hungry. Fine. Huddle in with the 200 other pigs who need food. If you wanted what Beaches and Cream use to be? Keep walking. It’s awful. You can’t hear yourself think. It’s a shame what Disney is becoming. The big fat money machine.
Super delicious desserts and large portions. The chef and staff are also incredibly knowledgeable and very helpful for people with specific food allergies. The chef came out to speak to someone in our party with Celiac disease and explained how everything is prepared.
Back at the Beach Club during COVID-19 and wanted to have some ice cream so we got the kitchen sink-- 5 of us went at it and still couldnt finish it! Worth the money if youre splitting it 4+ ways and probably one of the best values on property. That said, during the current pandemic you NEED reservations so if you are interested in getting this in the near future I would try to nab some.
Went here with my daughter and was seated right away with my reservation but offered the bar area viewing the kitchen. The kitchen is immaculate; top notch as expected by Disney. Courtney was our super enthusiastic, going out of her way for anything you need waitress!! She was electric. Wonderful personality and energy matched the concept of the restaurant. L The food! My daughter went for the plant based burger and onion rings with a chocolate shake and I had the French dip sandwich. Food came out fast, it was the perfect temperature and portions were generous. I’m still talking about how good my sandwich was today. Tiffany behind the counter on the griddle making all of our sandwiches was amazing. She made cooking look effortless and was even aware enough when my daughter took first bite to ask if she was enjoying it. Blown away by our entire experience there and will absolutely return to save room try the kitchen sink when there’s more than two of us! Thanks Disney.
Not sure what all the hype is. Service was good but the food was mediocre at best. The ice cream is interesting and large portions. Checked in for our reservations and proceeded to wait an hour to be seated. They offered us to seat at the counter but we made a reservation for a table. Even saw some people with reservations seated outside. Lots of better resturaunts on property and ice cream joints a plenty. Dont stress a reservation for Beaches and Cream. Put your efforts into something better.
Due to covid19 and limited availability this a place you will have to make a reservation for. Even when seat are open staff wont be willing to seat you. Options here are extremely heavy and probably not the best of your looking to eat healthy. The outside take away menus is limited but does have something for all ages. If you have a massive sweet tooth and dont care about your calorie intake then this is the place for you.
Delicious, so much fun. The cheese and bacon tots were amazing and our waiter Oliver was the best!
Great food. Friendly service and the ice cream is the bomb. Matt is an excellent server.
4 stars for flavor of the food. 5 star for the desserts, atmosphere and service!!! All of which were phenomenal and up to Disney standards.
Delicious and large portions. Good service and will cater to small children with milk allergies.
Finally got to share this place with my whole family over Christmas and we all loved it. Its such a tiny spot, but thats what makes it fun and special. The food was great, service was great and dessert was great. We loved everything about it and the atmosphere just added to how wonderful the whole experience was. Prices arent too terrible either.
Currently, Beaches & Cream is serving both inside and outside, but without a reservation, you will be limited to picking up ice cream to go. It was still worth the trip, though. The menu has quite a few choices, including some alcoholic ones. With the crowds being extremely limited, it didnt take long to get our orders to go, nor to find a convenient place to sit and eat them, watching the people and scenery.I wasnt too sure about combing Cookies & Cream into an ice cream sandwich made with cookies. Can you get too much of a good thing? It turns out, the answer is no. The ice cream is delicious and served soft enough that you can eat it, although theres no way youre eating this like a sandwich. Unless youre Dagwood. The Butter Pecan ice cream was also great, but again, such a large serving that youre getting it in a bowl. The cone is almost an afterthought. No regrets on either purchase. Its in a beautiful area, but a bit hard to get to right now because of construction in the area. Make your way through the resort and out to the ice cream shop. You wont regret it.
Delicious ice cream. Family fun environment. The cast members are good but not quite up to the disney standard. Great place to go at the end of a park day and relax. They will let you customize too. I created a mint cookie and cream shake and my husband got a Roy Rogers shake.
The sundaes were so good and huge!! We didnt have food but they had some delicious sounding items. Definitely will return.
It’s like Friendly’s, but good. I really liked their Reuben and the No Way Jose with all chocolate ice cream was awesome.
Great place for a snack and some ice cream. And, as usual, the Disney service was awesome.
Customer service is great and the prices are reasonable. We had the Kitchen Sink and our party of 4 could not finish it! As of right now, reservations are needed but we did see a few walk-ins get a table.
Stopped by for dinner after a day at animal kingdom. Place is booked solid to closing with reservations so plan ahead. We were able to grab a seat at counter after short wait. Food was okay 50s themed diner stuff. Dessert was awesome! Cookies and cream sundae and banana split. Plenty of other tables ordered the kitchen sink. Probably heard a whole can of whip cream! 5 times in 30 minutes haha.
This is a great place to have lunch, especially if youre staying at the Yacht or Beach Club Resort- dont skip it! Its very hard to get a table here, but honestly, the experience is better at the counter. A small party might have to wait 30 minutes, we had a party of 7 and waited a little over an hour - we just hung out at the pool during the wait. If youre staying at the resort, this is something you should plan along with the pool. I went in wearing my swim trunks and a tank top. There is a pick up counter for ice cream, but youll really want to go inside and sit at the counter for the soda shop experience. The place has a great 50s style feel with a juke box and oldies playing. The waitresses are full of personality and very helpful. Whenever someone orders a sundae called The Kitchen Sink, flashing lights go off and they all give a little speech. The same happens for birthdays. The hamburgers are very good quality and cooked fresh. The desserts are great and portions are huge. The pricing for the food quality and portions are better than the closest alternative on the other side of the pool along the Boardwalk at Hurricane Hannas.
A must-do if youre lucky enough to get a reservation! Weve had the same server the past two visits - his name escapes me but hes always very friendly and courteous. Everything weve ever eaten here has been absolutely delicious.
The place was very clean the atmosphere was great the staff was excellent but it was expensive
Beaches & Creams milkshakes are as lovely to look at as they are completely delicious. I can’t say that I have had a better milkshake anywhere else on or off Disney property! And the aesthetic of the topper…C’mon!! Can’t get any prettier!!
Located in the beach club resort. By the pool. Anyone can visit, dont need to be staying at the resort.I walked up, gave name and guest count of 2. Took 10mjns to be seated. Whats cool is they have a walk up carry out window, order ice cream to go. Seating is at the bar counters or the main tables in the center. If your at the bar counter, you can watch them make all these fin ice cream dishes. They have expanded the dinging room so its bigger. Disney staff, amazing. You come for the ice cream! The portions are large so its worth the price. i share for two people. Its delicious ice cream. Fun place to visit for sure. I ate the no way Jose. Someone ordered the kitchen sink. Someday Ill try it.
Its Disney-like here but the amount of vegan options is quite surprising and tasty. The staff is amazingly friendly, especially the kitchen staff.
We made a stop in at beaches and cream. We had reservations but when we showed up there was no need for them, the place was shockingly half empty. I’ve always heard it’s impossible to get without a reservation but that was definitely not the case. We had a burger and built a Sundae. The burger was a good diner burger, nothing spectacular and probably not worth the price, but it was still good. But let’s be real, everyone comes for the ice cream. I built a sundae with cookies and cream and butter pecan ice cream, and had it drowned in peanut butter.... and it was swimming. SO GOOD. Great ice cream and great service. Loved the beach diner theming as well.
Really good food and environment! A nice place for every age. We enjoyed it a lot!
Awesome atmosphere and tasty food like burgers and dogs .. very tough to get into without a reservation, as it is a very small space!UPDATE - 12/26/19 ... So, Beaches and Cream has reopened at Disneys Beach Club resort after a refurbishment to enlarge the space. They are now a much larger space, bright and airy, with some whimsical art and attractive lighting. There is no longer a space on the side to walk in and order to go treats - it is now a walk up window outside the main space. The menu has some new additions, as well as subtractions (please bring back the egg salad sandwich!), but it still tastes the same - better than your average theme park eats. Prices are moderate, and theres some decadent desserts to be had (Dare you to take on the Kitchen Sink!). I gotta say, as a longtime fan of this venue, I think a lot of the charm has been lost in this reno ; gone are the fun booths, a more intimate space (it truly felt like a get when you landed a reservation here) as well as the old time styled soda fountain. But, if you overlook this, the food and treats are still a great option if youre visiting.
This was my very first time sitting at this place, I would always go to the quick service side since its recommended you have a reservation for the sit down, I didnt even know they served food. Desert wise very amazing place and establishment and the food was tasty. Remember though its Disney so its a tad expensive but for me its a one time thing.
This is the best hidden gem at Disney. Best service across the board. Brian is by far the best server we have had at any restaurant on Property. Stop by and ask for his section, guarentee you will be back again and again.
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop has become our familys traditional first stop in Disney World! The service is excellent and the ice cream is as well. We ordered those Mickeys Over the Top Milkshakes that come with the souvenir cup, and we were very happy with them (we especially recommend the chocolate one that comes with a brownie). We also came back another day to split the No Way Jose sundae, and that was worth the second trip! Overall a fun themed and quality place.
Excellent meal! We tried the French dip, chili tots, and of course the souvenir kitchen sink! Kids ate their whole meal too! Hot dogs, salad, Mac and cheese, and watermelon were all kid approved 👌
I recommend to book well in advance especially try the kitchen sink. It was an Instagram-able moment!
Good food awful timing reservation two months ago for 0640 did not get in till after 0720. not Disney style. ☹️
Food was yummy, burgers & ice cream. Disney prices. The experience was fun. My 5 year old loved it.
Go for the ice cream.. get The Kitchen Sink!
What a great place to eat and meet up with friends. The shtick of the huge milkshake.and the camp of the decor made up for the bland taste. The beef dip was great.
This place is such an underrated gem - amazing food at some of the most reasonable prices in Disney. Grilled cheese and tomato soup!
AMAZING I LIVED IT SO MUCH ITS WAS BUSSIN SHEESH
Noisy and crowded (even during COVID table distancing). The food was very ordinary and tasted like your average counter service restaurant. I got the reuben sandwich with french fries while my husband got the cheeseburger with onion rings. We were so disappointed that we didn’t even want to try the desserts. It was close to the resort pool, so it felt more like a pool bar restaurant than a a stand-alone one. It was our least favorite meal during our week-long Disney trip.
