No tantrum from me. The food in the restaurant was awesome. A barber on-site. A repair shop with people who know what theyre doing and are friendly. Security that actually go above and beyond to make sure your equipment is safe. This place is a hidden gem.
Man this place is horrible! Shouldnt even be called a truck stop! So old and run down. Paid parking but no spots ever! Staff rude. Needs to be torn down and rebuilt. -5 stars
A lot of people complain of this truck stop if your from Florida you know that it’s a decent place you got barber shop great food stop complaining about pot holes exc if you don’t like it don’t park here go pay 200$ a morning to park in a place where they got everything you want smh
I been staying here for the past week and I have to say the customer service is excellent and they go beyond their duties to help you. Their employee named SKY is amazing 🤩. Thank you SKY for making my stay in ACME a great experience.
I been parking here for about 5 yrs. Im so grateful they provide such a perfect location close to so much variety in food options in area plus its like being in the very heart of Otown. Love the Boricua restaurant on the lot too and helpful staff. Showers are not like the loves, or flying j, because they close at night but at least u can shower next day.Gracias mi gente.
Small convince store with paid truck parking and a restaurant. All truck parking is paid. Fairly large lot with 7 of the spots available to reserve in advance. Store and restrooms were clean. The store closes at 11pm security on site over night. It was a quiet place to sleep they also have truck fuel, showers in a trailer in the back and a barbershop
The location is good but it seems like the locals got the place sewed up theres never any parking but you can take a shower...
Wow ive never been to a more dirty place. Zero pride of ownership and bad customer service. The restrooms where very dirty and the shower looked like it was never cleaned and no soap or wash clothes just a towel which was big and ok. But that shower room tho wow so dirty and paint chipping off all over room #3. I always go to a ta or flying j and now i appreciate there dirty bathrooms more lol crazy bad. Skip this one. I would not return.
The ladies that work here are great. Parked there for labor day and paid for the wrong days and they got me a spot even though they were booked out!!
The clerk has the worst attitude. Asked her a simple question and she might as well have said are you stupid?
I dont know what most bad reviews are about everything negative Ive heard has been the opposite for me,friendly staff nice place no noise when you are sleeping, and yeah you gotta pay for parking big deal and showers big deal you do it for the most part at any truckstop you dont have a rewards card so whats the difference...
Good food also you can so laundry an shower if you have to
Horrible place for anything! Probably park at least 10 more trucks in there if anybody know how to park and people werent saving spots for other people! Staff is way too lazy to do anything and very rude! Ill never recommend that place to anyone I know or go back there myself! Go park at Vantage truck parking not to far down the street and park!! You wont have any of the bs either! This place is one of the reasons I hate coming to the east coast!
This truck stop is a nice establishment. $13.85 per day for parking whether its on the paved lot or unpaved lot. The Puerto Rican restaurant has some very, very good food and its portions are large. The barber shop on the property has barbers with skills. Those guys know how to cut.Not quite understanding all the negative reviews but my stay here was pleasant. Zero problems...Ill definitely be back and would recommend this truck stop to anyone. Theres a shop here with all basic services and they also do trailer wash outs. Cant find that at every truck stop.
This is my home away from home. GREAT FOOD, nice people, very respectful. I love this place. I will always come here when i come to orlando. I got so full, i could barely walk. Clean showers. They really standby their rules and thats ok because it makes me feel safe being a woman.
Great place to park good locationBig space
Awesome food. Pay to park ( 2hrs free) if you can find a spot... very busy location.
Old and dirty. Only go in here if im desperate
Good place book online packing nice People help you
It is the worst truck stop dirt no safety camera in the back customer service not good at all
I was there a few nights ago and the girl at the desk was so sweet. Tonight, there was a rude woman there with her boyfriend hanging out. Im never going back! Ill spend 900 a week where Im appreciated!
This is the only truck stop directly in orlando, Fl. Everything else is on outskirts. If u can avoid this truck stop i will. They charge to breathe here. Parking here is $13 dollars a day, $22 if u call over the phone. Lots of food in area, showers cost 10 bucks. The parking lot is gravel lot and they will tow u asap. This is my honest review of this truck stop. You have been warned
Lots of parking space for trailers. Great customer service. Reserve ahead of time.
I wanted to post a review after staying here last night and reading some of the other reviews. I think its great that the owner sticks up for his business. To be honest I know it is pay for parking and I myself am really opposed to paying for parking, but I got it for free with my fuel purchase which is nice, and the fuel was cheaper than everywhere else around. Its also parking right in the city which I have never found to be free, that land isnt cheap. Yes the overflow is a dirt lot but its not as bad as some of these other drivers make it seem, Ive seen a whole lot worse. All the employees were super friendly. I never got harrased by anybody like these drivers said, they have signs everywhere posted to their policies. I got food at the restaurant which was delicious! Dont listen to some of these other drivers, this is a great stop and I myself will be returning.
Im bumping this from 4-5 stars. I just put in a rating before i actually read any reviews. 5 stars to the owner who stands up for his business and employees..i salute you. My dad was a truck driver for 35+yrs...(my mom is still driving 25+yrs)...so yes i have every right to this opinion...and some drivers now a days are not friendly and seem to think they are entitled to not only the road but to excellent service when they are/can be the reason Cashiers get frustrated. Think for a minute...you been driving all day bored...irritated...hungry...most people in that road haze are not in a good mood. Leave your problems in your vehicle and greet the staff woth a smile and for sure your experience will be better no matter where you fuel/park/shower/eat. Safe Travels Everyone!!
I’m not too happy about the system of this truck stop. In my opinion it is not truck driver friendly. There is a nice restaurant that serves great food but as a truck driver u have no where to park for an hour without being harassed n asked to move. I know most people don’t realize, as a truck driver we want to get out of our truck n enjoy a meal before being back on the road. I shouldn’t have to pay to park when I only want to grab some dinner! 🤦🏻♀️
All places are paid. There is no option to park for free. You pay $ 13 and park your truck in the mud! I forgot the mask in the truck, so they offer to buy it for a dollar to start serving, although a decree was issued on the abolition of the mask regime
Very good service at the shop. Frank and the mechanics are a great team that would go out of their way to help you! Food at the restaurant is excellent! Thanks for all the help guys!
Wont park here even if they have spots specially not paying. Lot was full so Im on my phone looking for somewhere to go. And the yard guy starts harassing me to move on. Kept coming to my door telling me move on get out the parking lot. Wasnt there even 30 minutes.
If for some reason you can’t wear a mask they won’t even take your fuel card. I try to support local/ small businesses last time I’ll try.For your total lack of understanding of Americans with disabilities. I will definitely never stop at this place again. And anyone that cares about the millions of Americans with disabilities should not visit this place. Hope you never have anything wrong with you that you are denied service. If you are following the mask rules you should be enforcing to 2 mask mandate.
I dont understand this place. The service was bad, our food wasnt served at the same time, it was expensive and the ambiance is terrible. No truck parking. I just didnt get it.
I paid the 22 dollars to reserve a spot ahead of time and although I arrived at the Truckstop earlier then my reservation I filled my truck and trailer with 100 gallons of diesel. Plus I spent 45 dollars at the shop to get my trailer washed out. The girls at the desk where very rude and would not work with me for a parking spot until my reservation even though my reserved spot was empty. Every time I come through this Truckstop I spend hundreds on fuel and repairs but after my last visit on Monday I will be taking my business elsewhere because bad attitudes and cashiers that don’t realize there truck driver customers are the reasons they have a job.
Got 125 gallons of diesel, still they wouldnt allow me to park. Buy your fuel and supplies elsewhere, I wont waste my time ever coming here again.
Very efficient, though mainly full Trk Prkg during Beuno Estardis. Im enjoying all natural Fruit Smoothee& Veggie Omelet ... So good
Im going to give them three stars for their efforts. This truck stop has been here a very long time. New owner who took over like 10 years ago cleaned it up nice. Food is good people is nice. However I never stay here or even stop much because its a pay to park and the dirt lot will destroy your truck if you dont watch it. But if your looking for fuel or a drink not a bad place.
I came at 3 am, and I found available spot but security doesn’t give me to park, what is going on with yours security he is crazy man,
Been there I dont know how many times and the restaurant is good
I think this is perfect place to park in the city area. $13 is better then drive many miles searching free parking.
Im in FL every week but I will spend a dime in this place again is not worth say why because is not going change O/O here never again ..karma is really you guys are only in business because of us truckers .
Large parking lot for 18-wheelers (80 parking spots). They charge $13 to park; just make sure you get there before 6pm for parking because this place fills up QUICK. Great Peurto Rican restaurant inside.
Just another dirt lot trying to charge you for breathing their air. It seems to be kept neat and showers are cheaper than most places ($10 per person). Havent tried the restaurant yet. Most of the time Ive been here, theres very little parking left and youre charged for everything (ie parking). Give these drivers, you make your money off of, a break. Staff extremely nice though. Thanks and much appreciated.Update: Didnt ask for your reply. Thats my opinion. Your taxes arent the drivers problem, but we are the ones who are your main customers if not the only customers. There are several city truck stops and it is not common, as youve said, to pay that in most places. But good luck to you.
Just small truck stop,, no scale,,for eat they do havea maxican Restaurant not open 24 hrs but they have really good food,, they do have macanic shop nice and clean restroom no overnight parking you have to pay for it
Big portions great food. The cook was very friendly and helpful..she made us fajitas even though it wasnt on the menu.
No parking rude staff the only thing worth coming here is the restaurant Grillers there food is amazing
Very shady place!!! Would not recommend !!! Crooked as a dogs hind leg!!!So the owner replies back and starts automatic name calling. What are we in the 5th grade? An abusive self entitled driver?!? I think not sir. Your employ was the abusive one. Funny how some people get their feelings hurt when someone tells the truth on them. Amazes me how people such as yourself can stay in business. And your employee straight up lied. Enjoy while you can cause one day it will come back you.
After cashier told me they full for the night I asked if she know any other parking nearby been told to google it(rudely) so I did501 Zell Dr, Orlando, FL 32824Few miles awayManagement should talk to staff and teach them manners
Only truck stop in this area of Orlando. Needs a bigger enter/exit area. So much traffic its hard to get into when trying to take a left. The store is very tiny and no hot food available in the store, just at the restaurant. So no grab and go hot food. Decent amount of truck parking but spots arent clearly marked unless its reserved. Heard great things and bad things about this place. But we will just stick with driving out of our way for a pilot or flying j.
I’ve been here a couple times only when in desperate need for fuel. I called ahead tonight to see what time they closed, I was 5 minutes up the road. They said they closed at 11, I got there at 10:58 I just wanted to pre pay for $20 fuel. She locked the door and told me to push the truck. If I wouldn’t have called, she wouldn’t have known I was coming and I could’ve fueled. You can’t pay at the pump, only in store. I won’t be back ever. As a Florida trucking company owner, my fleet will no longer be going here.AFNF
In December I paid $13 for 24 hours of parking. They gave me a big parking permit with the expiration date on it and a ticket stub to show security in case I want to leave and come back. The parking lot was dirt but it was in decent shape, no mud holes today. I havent checked out the food options yet. There are six reserved spots on pavement just past the scale. $22 per day for one of those.
If your not a local not a good place to park..I was taking a few minutes to get paperwork together and someone came out to rush me out..they say you get 2 free hours of parking BS..
Clean bathrooms, nice amount of parking but inside is very cramped and no ready to go hot food items available. Had no ice to buy today and no fountain drinks. Decent snack and bottled drink selection and cheaper prices which is nice. Will make five stars if they could expand inside and add some grill items.
I’ll tell you what they were busy; they pulled me right in. Before you know it, I was on my way.
Watch out for Ricardo and his employees. They will run cards twice, charge hidden fees and even tow you out if they have a chance. WATCH OUT!!!
The food is definitely delicious and you get more than your money.
I had a hard time finding the truckstop. Be alert drivers Google maps will lead you to the intersection of Sand lake rd and Orange Blossom trail (41). However, the truckstop is further south down OBT (41) 2 blocks south of Taft Vineland rd on the east side of roadway..Security guard does not provide change. However, when the store opens take your ticket to the clerk. The guard will put your money in an envelope with your truck number and info. The storeclerk completes the transaction when they open.👊🏿👊🏿Trailer washouts are available on site too... I paid 45.oo for standard reefer washout.
Nasty and you have to pay to park to go in truck stop. STAY AWAY. Regardless rather you pay before or after parking. You do have to pay for a park. Not a good way to conduct business.
Good food, clean bathrooms and good amount of parking space.
It would be nice if they would expand and make the parking area bigger.
This truck stop is first class. Customer service is outstanding, food was great, location close in. What more could a driver want? It could all be bad, and they could charge more and it would still be full all the time. Thank you to the Owner, Management and staff for obviously caring and putting forth the effort to make drivers feel welcome.
During Covid-19 I was homeless, laid off from both my full & part time jobs, lost all my modeling gigs & events also cancelled. With limited funds I searched to find showering accommodations. Acme has clean and spacious shower rooms for only $10 a visit, with towels included. The staff was friendly and professional. I highly recommend a visit! Special thanks to the staff, Ms Jan, Ms Sky, Ms Karina, Ms Elizabeth and Ms C! YALL ROCK!
First of all l have no affiliation. l am a Carrier been out here 6 years. Last night l stopped to get some cash. This is a great stop. It is very close to the big industrial warehousing park 1 mile away. Fuel was 25 cents cheaper than the last chain stop l fueled at. That was a nice surprise. Restrooms are modern and were immaculate. The Fuel Desk staff were friendly and helpful. Tina is great and very sweet.I dropped the trailer and came back to try the Grillers Restuarant tonight. l usually cook in the rig and dont ever eat out but l am glad l did. The service was very friendly and the food is excellent. You can tell it is real home cooking! They have Latin and American menu choices such as Burgers and Fries. The folks sitting near me got the burger It looked like a 1/2 pound or more burger patty home made with big steak cut fries. It looked really good. Also l want to try the grilled chicken breast but instead got a huge Bone in Pork Chop that was cooked perfectly all the way through. It was seasoned well and had a great grilled BBQ taste. Had to take a leftovers box since l couldnt finish it! If you have a furry friend waiting for you in the truck they will be very happy when you return. The bone will keep them busy! The red beans and rice were great and the salad was fresh.l bought a Flan to go since l left full! I made Coffee in the truck a couple hours later and the Flan was very good. A nice treat.l didnt need parking tonight. It was full by the time l got there at 7pm and so is nearly every truckstop in Florida l am sure. lf l ever do l will reserve a spot early. The price is fine it is tax deductible for the O/O. Will visit again A+++++
They have it all. Parking w/ security, bathrooms and shower, awesome restaurant and fine looking staff that are on tha ball and to tha point. This will be my new spot to sleep at every time a come to Orlando. 🤠👍👍
For a truck stop it has all you would expect in a truck stop. Prices are ok, its a truck stop! Good for variety of goodies. Good selection.
Nice place and Ive heard great things about the restaurant. I wanted to take a 34 hour break there but didnt want to pay $26($13/day). Im not freeloading. I would be taking at least one shower there, buying stuff out of the store, and eating at the restaurant 2 or 3 times, so paying for parking on top of that just to park my bobtail there seems excessive. I guess Ill just have to park at Sams Club and eat elsewhere.
Nice place, only stopped in for a shower, but found the staff awesome and friendly. Showers were good, run faster then some of the major truck stops I have been in. Overall I would recommend this one, but be prepared to pay for parking.
Same to be a good place to do business with people were friendly what we needed was in stock except for one thing and it was no big deal..
Don’t go there
The restaurant at this truck stop was great. But I got my truck serviced here and they took a long time. felt like paying $555 will allow me to park for free overnight but no you still have to pay $13. would have gave a higher review score if I didnt have to pay $13 to park after I just spent five hundred and fifty something dollars
Easy to get to trashy lot restaurant is ok they want 13$ to park and get it because where else you going to go so thats why one star
Super awesome place for truckers, very safe, accessible and clean
Its a surprising place to safely park in Orlando. Costs $13 for 24 hours. You can buy multiple days if laying over but get here early as it fills up fast. The restaurant is small but my pork chops were hot, sized like youd buy at home, reasonably priced and very good. The lot is half gravel with pot holes but Ive seen much worse. Overall I enjoyed my stay.
Hard to get in due to heavy constant traffic. Pay for parking! Half paved, half gravel lot. Spaces not marked so trucks are parked crooked. Theyll keep selling parking permits even after the lot is full. Lot is clean. Its located within walking distance to shops stores and restaurants. Surprisingly for its location its quiet and safe.
Food was better than I thought it was going to be. Bathroom was clean. Dont know about the showers nor the laundry area as we didnt use either one. Parking is $13.00 for 24hrs.
This is a pretty nice truck stop. The rest rooms are nice, clean and didnt smell. It is a pay to park but if you put in 60 gallons you get free parking for 24 hours. They accept efs. The fuel was cheaper than your main steam truck stops especially for being the only one in Orlando and in the city at that. The restaurant was delicious. The menu was simple and easy and the prices for the amount of food was wonderful. The only problem was half the parking lot is dirt. Will definitely stop here again.
Small but have what u need
Food was excellent, great meal (beef an onion) great amount an price not bad at all.
Call in advance for parking
This is only truckstop in Orlando that charges to park. I dont even know theyre open 24 hrs anymore, I just stopped here to get an empty weight for my customer.
I love this truck stop and everything about it,the food, staff and service is one of a kind, though I havent been here but several times this is my favorite in any direction but the last 2 times I stopped in I noticed a older black guy(lot attendant)working there now.the first time I saw him he were cutting grass in the hot sun not to mention seeing him attend to other task assigned to him I guess by his job requirements.and I stopped by yesterday to fuel up and I saw him cutting grass in the rain! All I could say wasWOW! He must love his job or cutting grass! But Ive never felt more comfortable and safe in any other truck stop and Ive visited 80%of them!just wanted to say thanks and keep up the good work!
I have liked this truck stop. Last night I stayed there, hoping for a nice dinner. The restaurant is closed for renovations. They have a food truck outside. Serving Jamaican food. Everything comes with plantains. I dont like plantainsNext trip I will call to see if restaurant is open. If not will go down road.Just stayed there. The food truck moved inside. It is Jamaican food. Again, side items mainly plantains. Didnt find out till I got to truck some items were missing. Most of overpriced dinner went in trash. If I stay there again, will make sure I have edible food in truck. Previous restaurant was pretty good.
The owner seems to respond to every review with some snarky comeback, as if that makes a difference. It’s a convenient place in the area, though the entrance and exit is a bit tight due to the traffic. It offers Cat Scales, showers, truck repair and things you’d find at a convenient store.... it’s a truck stop in the middle of the dump known as Orlando. If you’re okay with paid parking, this is a good spot to park. Just call ahead to see how many spots are available.
They have different system. But Cashiers so kind. Thanks alot !!
Never been there
Terrible diner, pay for parking (reasonable) well stocked convenience store with friendly staff. Diner: The owner through in a brand new employee with no training. While he tried to get everything done correctly, he missed orders and had very upset customers. I had a burger and fries which made me very ill. Parking: $13 for a 24 hour period. Tape sign to window or be towed.($10.00 showers too.) Convenience Store: Nice mix of junk foods and micro dinners. Very helpful, friendly folks at the fuel desk. All in all, not a bad place, but stay out of the diner.
This is a nice little truck stop. It costs $13.00 per night to park. The shower was clean. It a dirt lot. There are bobtail spots as well. They have a shop here too. The Grillers restaurant is good. Their service is fast and the food is cooked fresh and quite good. Next time I have to overnight I will definitely stay here.
Awesome people. Had no problem, speak your mind and theyll try to help and provide what you need as a valued customer. Once you pay for your spot, they dont place about it with others, they make sure you have your spot till your time is over. Good truck stop/parking. Ill always go there every time Im in the area.
Nice place
They were friendly and helpful. Also has a nice restaurant. There is a shop on site and when I went in for my AC they were fast and save me $40 of the TA quote. Also I had time for the barber shop there. The sharpest hairline I ever had. I like going to that place its about my 12th time there.
