The service was okay but the food was horrible. My potatoes were cold, the waitress told me they would bring me new food and all they did was microwave it and send it back. My chicken steak felt like it needed to be thawed and they rushed to cook it. There were ants on our table and nothing was good. A waste of $19. It was about 11:30 a.m. when we went yesterday. My husband and I didnt even eat the leftovers we threw them away. My stomach started turning soon as I started eating the food. I will never go back to this place.
Denise was our server and shes amazing. Place is a hidden gem as the Food here is incredible. The combination of the friendly service along with the food is such a delight
New owners and my first time was fantastic. They keep it simple with paper utensils, i ordered a gyro omlette with all the veggies and a side of sausage gravy and it was cooked perfectly. The veggies were just right and plenty of meat . Homemade gravy also, i will be back for more especially because after I finished I was so delighted that I ordered a patty melt- which was to die for omg it was so good and was hand pattie not a frozen pattie (I was hungry and it was going to be lunch soon lmao) and yesterday I ate it there after my first meal. The waitresses are awesome 👌 thank you to the cook as well.

Sausage gravy needs some love. Wendys sausage gravy has more flavor unfortunately. Waitress also forgot a portion of my order then when asked about it blamed it on the cook instead of just taking responsibility.

Place looks really dirty, and is pretty pricey, I came in on a quick run for breakfast, and ordered a Bacon egg and cheese on a hero bread with Mayo and ketchup. And an apple juice, and I payed $8 for it. Thats wild. Would not recommend

Oh my goodness! If you happen to be near College Park, You have to go to Cafe Perks OBT. The food is delicious; especially the catfish. The owner and employees are super nice and go out of their way to make sure that everything is perfect.

Visited this greasy spoon while waiting for my car to be repaired. Service was prompt and the young lady serving was very nice. I was taken aback by the fact that everything they used was either plastic paper or foam utensils. Food was average tasting and very pricey. You can truly consider this establishment a hole in the wall. One-time visit for sure.

Cute cafe with good food, large portions and a good price. Burger is better than i expected and the chicken tenders are as good as you could expect. Havent had the breakfast personally, but it looked pretty good. Staff is very friendly and service is good. Wish they had bigger to go cups, but its no big deal.

This place could be so much better with just a few changes. Quit cooking the potatoes ahead of time and then deep frying them to perk them up. They taste like logs of grease when you do that and to be honest half the time the grease is cold and coagulated. I am sure this is a cooks shortcut that needs to stop because its just gross. This is why all the potatoes end up in the garbage! The eggs are fine, toast is fine, coffee is diner coffee. This is not bad because diner coffee is heartwarming. Not all coffee has to taste like starbucks charcoal coffee. Oh, but the biggest thing is the dismal paint on this place, looks like a duck threw up all over it. Paint it a bright yellow or something to give it diner appeal. I am sure a storefront designer cold do a great design and increase the appeal. The look of the place now is sad and dismal, depressing, so I only stop in when sad and dismal and depressed. Happier days are spent at other happier places.

Only reason I didnt give it five Stars is because they were having an issue with plumbing or something and using plastic utensils and the fork was very flimsy. I can understand using disposable plates and utensils but the forks could have been a little stronger.
Laid back, great selection, price and service. You never feel rushed to eat and get out. Well, its almost Christmas 🎄 and the folks at Cafe Perks made a beautiful and successful attempt at decorating for Christmas. Its like coming home. I was surprised to see how great food is here, good prices and waitresses super helpful.We had breakfast and the omelet was excellent, the home fries delicious ( We added onions and tomatoes for extra). It is like homemade food, We dont live in Orlando but really close..we will be back for sure.

This was my second visit. Just as with the first visit I was VERY excited and happy to receive great service and a welcome smile from arrival to departure. The waitress was friendly and made sure that my guest (my sister) and I were comfortable and received the utmost respect. Planning to return and bring other family members.
This place, for me, is a treasure. Good food, well prepared, with zero frills (Styrofoam cups and plastic plates. Stay out if your a eviro-militant no body wants to hear the shpeal. This place has a repeat clientele, mostly laborers who want great food at a reasonable price, with servers that add a little verbal spice to the situation. Wife loves it too. Check it out, unless your looking for fine dining. This aint it keep driving.
Im a fan of divey places with great home cooked food. This place doesnt disappoint. All standard diner fare done well. Word of caution: Not a fan of the breakfast potatoes. No matter how you order them, they seem to be under done. But Ive had a good experience with everything else and Ill keep coming back.

Well my wife and I have been eating here or picking up call in orders at least two days a week for a couple of months and I like the food. Not overly friendly staff though. Today I went in and ordered a ham, egg, and cheese biscuit and some coffee and when the waitress brought it out the cook had put a hot, fresh cooked egg and ham on a COLD and what felt like DAY OLD biscuit! When I finally got the attention of a waitress I let her know and told her she seemed bothered but said she would have them bring another. She did not return but another waitress brought me a hot biscuit that they had damn MELTED in the MICROWAVE and I told her I was sorry but I could eat cold leftovers at home. It had taken a while so I went to check on my dog who was outside in my truck with the windows down and when I came back the first waitress was over by my table talking to the cook who had his back to me and was giving the shove it up your ass sign with his fist toward the parking lot. I choose to vote with my hard earned dollar and will NOT be eating there again. What ever happened to customer service or taking pride in your work? BTW... I still did the right thing and left them a five dollar tip. My last. ~Freddy P.

This place is it ok location. I stop by for breakfast which is pretty good for the exception of the bread toast tasting a little old. The price was fair. the service nothing to talk about. not one of my favorite place but I will return again. still you should try it.

The food here is great but this place is going downhill fast. The owner just doesnt take pride in what he has. They have been havingplumbing problems for probably over 6 months so they have been using paper plates, plastic ware, and styrofoam cups all because they cant wash dishes. Ceiling tiles are stained from rain and hanging down in places. Where this place used to be very busy morning and afternoon, now there are only a few people eating there. Its a shame because the waitstaff there has always been cheerful and prompt and Im sure the lack of business is hurting them in the pocketbook. It really is a shame but I will still go there as the food and prices are still good.

The food is consistently good. I grew up in S. Jersey/Philly area. We always had good diners all over the place. This is the closest Ive gotten to in Central Florida. And my waitress this morning (I feel bad for not getting her name, I ordered to-go) was great. Great enough that Ill give myself enough time to eat-in on a Sunday next time.
