We had a great experience here!! The place is super cute and country. Upon walking in they had the front of the place painted for Halloween which was super cute! We sat down & Kayleen was our server & let me tell you this woman was hilarious & sassy! We enjoyed her enthusiasm and service! I am a server myself and she did a fantastic job joking and laughing with us!! Food was ordered and come out fairly quick and was delicious. If we are ever back in town we will definitely stop by again.
I got the Everything Skillet and it hit the spot!! The waitress was amazing and so kind eventhough we got there 15 min before closing. She recommended the house potatoes and were so good!!! I would def go back. And as a BONUS they bring you the receipt and you can pay with your phone! So much easier and less papae waste!
Used to be a favorite place but quality down prices up. Had turkey bacon club. Bacon was uneatable tough chewy under cooked and sitting around for a long time. Lettuce was substituted by mixed greens salad items, like spinach, and endive, all old. Had to remove and not eat. $13 Sandwich with drink and tip $19. Never again. They never cooked.my breakfast as ordered ever the first time always perfect when I demanded crisp bacon and soft eggs a second time. Been going here for decades, no.more..
I dont do a lot of reviews but this place was outstanding. Omelet was prepared perfectly as was everything else. Excellent diner that feels like a nostalgic revisit to my childhood.

This spot has been around forever. The food is always so good. Made to order. Everything is fresh. The eggs are real (some places use powder egg for scrambled), the home fries are chunks of potatoes cooked to perfection. Even the little packets of jelly taste so good. The restaurant is small and they are short staffed, but its worth the wait.
Had a great time with my family here, it was my childs first experience with public dining and our server went out of her way to make it a good one. Thank you! I have a horrible memory or I would thank her by name.
Decent prices, welcoming staff, and heafty cooked meals. Quite the bang for your buck. I recommend going on a Tuesday when they have half price all burgers (dine in only) reasonable portions and overall decent. Not a spot that calls my attention to visit often but a nice little whole in the wall diner when youre undecided on where to eat.

I will not be back there I have ate there many times throughout the years this was the first time that I had a sorry breakfast
Had a craving for country fried steak, not the best for delivery but decided to take a shot. My meal came so quickly and was packaged so well, everything was great. My over-easy eggs were even still over easy. So impressed.
I woke up the other day craving nothing but an amazing omelette! So I quickly logged into my GrubHub and try to find somewhere new to fall in love with. Mission accomplished! I had a western omelette that I ordered to pick up. As soon as I walked in it had a very warm Diner feel and I was greeted very happily. My food was ready and waiting for me and I headed home. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! And cheap!!! I absolutely cant wait to go back and try more! 👍🏼
Let’s start with the positive- you can pay your check with a QR code on your receipt which is convenient.The negative- it took forever to get our food. Egg sandwich was way over cooked. Pancakes were too doughy and home fries looked and tasted absolutely disgusting. This place looks like it hasn’t been updated since 1994 and has a really weird smell. Kinda reminded me of a Mcdonalds breakfast with the little packs of butter. Needless to say we won’t be returning.
I got the chili omelet. Its was ok not quite what i thought it would be. The chili was more like a 3 bean soup that someone put some chili powder in. It was just ok could have been great thou. The staff was nice cant say friendly but they were nice. Dinning area was neat and clean and well themed. Bathrooms smelled good and were clean, could use some paint and TLC but nice. They have a nice menu and have no problem going back and seeing if some of the other items are better.

Service was good, waiter was great But food wasn’t what was expected plus I got charged a dollar for asking for shredded cheese in my grits and was charged a dollar for cheese. Didn’t even eat all.

Everything Ive ordered has been just a notch above the same food at other diners, from the eggs benedict with a huge chunk of ham steak on it, to the chunky sausage gravy, to a western skillet that was a lot less greasy than usual but still a good amount with big chunks of potato.

Daybreak Diner appears to be a classic Diner style establishment old school. Went there for lunch on a Friday place was pretty busy was seated quickly, took a little bit so the waitress to come and service me. Place my order and received my food quite quickly. The cheese sticks were run-of-the-mill and just okay. The Monte Cristo sandwich however it was a huge disappointment. Monte Cristos are deep fried sandwich and take a little extra care to ensure they come out really well. The Monte Cristo served here was soaked in Grease. Which made it nearly inedible. Service was fine for the rest of the meal. Atmosphere is Classic Diner, kind of greasy spoon like, and had a obvious crowd of regulars. Perhaps you just need to know which items on the menu are good and which items on the menu are subpar. This is somewhat typical for an establishment of this type. I can only give it three stars. The food was meh.

SO GOOD. listen, the decor and menu situation is subpar and you might think it is an indicator of the food quality. ITS NOT. the food is amazing. their home fries are sprinkled with parmesan and rosemary! the rest of the food is equally surprisingly good excellent. seriously don’t think twice, just pull up your grubhub or get in the car or whatever you need to do to get you some delicious food!!

Had breakfast 9/10 The bacon is pre-cooked and probably sitting in a pan. Dry and hard. Being a diner I thought the food would be cooked fresh as ordered it was not worth the $14 coffee also did not taste very good. This place needs a revamp. Lots of chatting between the employees your customers don’t wanna hear your chatting, sorry.

Hopefully the owners son is still in jail and wont try to shoot me for this review, thats happened before. The old style good dinner food this place had twenty years ago is long gone. The gravy is absolutely from powder and the biscuits are large heavy rocks of flour. The eggs look and taste like something from McDonalds, and the incredibly slow service tales the cake. The chain diners are putting out much higher quality food. It wont be much longer now.

Ive been coming to this place for over a decade now. It is consistently the fastest and the best quality breakfast in town. You can tell a place is a staple in an area when more than half the staff has been there for over 5 years. Jessica and Cheryl are always prompt and pleasant. Wonderful diner.

Was there 7/09/2020. service was horrible, $3.00 side of gravy (which was glue like) today I checked my account and come to find out that I was charged $20.00 instead of 14.38. I left $2.00 tip cash, plus added and extra tip on the receipt but did NOT equaled to $20.00 I will be going back and collect my money, and will be reporting them to the business bureau, what they did is ILLEGAL.
Homecooking at its best! Great prices and the food was delicious. I always judge a place based on their biscuits and gravy; this place came through! My husband said it tasted just like what his grandma used to make. Service was fast and my coffee cup was never empty. We will definitely be visiting on a regular basis now.

I discovered this place on accident, after about 4 years of living across from them. I’ve been coming in frequently ever since. Great home cooking, excellent staff. It’s got a homey feel, the staff even remembers your name. It’s an overall fantastic place for breakfast and lunch!😄👍✌️
Place was packed and seemingly understaffed because everything took forever. From drinks, to coffee refill to placing an order. However the food was pretty good so waiting wasnt all that bad. The fried pickles were great and they have some local made hot sauces that are well made. I wasnt the a fan of staff blaring bad music over their iPhone speaker, though. That sucked.
Service was good, food is decent prices. I got the BLT, it was good definitely didn’t skimp on the bacon. Reminds me of a Midwest diner especially with the packers gear all over the walls . My friend got the French dip and didn’t like it at all, but I think he was ready to marry the beef vegetable soup since he ordered two bowls .
If you like grits or you like country diners then you will probably like this place more than me. I prefer a NY style diner. The home fries looked deep fried and tasted salty. Pancakes were nothing special and tasted a bit greasy. Coffee seemed fine and good priced. Waitresses was very kind and helpful. Dinner plates were plastic. Nothing really wrong with the place just not the kinda diner like.
Been awhile since Ive eaten here. Its still great food and fabulous service. Definitely gonna start going back more often.

I had a very nice experience here. I came in for a small bite to eat while I waited for the band Room to open. They were very welcoming, the service was fast, my server checked on me just enough. My food was cooked perfectly and tasty.

We placed our order got our food and the waitress never bothered to ask if we needed anything, yet she took time to let another customers child play on the register. Daybreak Diner has some great food! I ate there today and it was such an enormous amount of food on a sandwich, I almost couldnt eat all of it!!! I highly recommend this place for any meal..Plus they have an awesome set of greeters and waitresses. Very friendly service!!!!!
This place is a hidden gem in Orlando. While the aesthetic is lacking, the food is really good and the value is great and the staff is always friendly.They cook their eggs perfectly every time.The chicken fried steak is great.The home fries have a lot of flavor.They wont disappoint for a traditional home-style breakfast or diner-style lunch.

The hostess took a while to seat my father and I, as a group of elderly women walked in they were seated immediately and so my father questioned her on why they got seated first and she said it must’ve been a miscommunication, there was no miscommunication however.So we let it go as is, We got our food which was excellent as always. However the hostess was giving us snide looks when we were leaving.

First time Ive been here since it was recommended by a friend. It was a sweet diner and I ordered pancakes, eggs and bacon. I got my food with three skinny pieces of cold bacon I look over to another table that ordered a burger and seem as if they got their food freshly made. The price I payed for those three bacon was $4 which cost the same if it was store bought, how freaking pathetic is that? Anyway, last time Ill be coming here. The service was great though

I have been eating at Daybreak for many years. They have excellent diner style food and a great staff. I went through and read all the reviews today. I just wanted to say no place is 100% perfect every day but Daybreak is always on their game unless they get slammed busy or someone calls in sick which can happen to any business. I’m very picky about both food and service so they couldn’t have kept me as a customer for so many years if they weren’t a great place. I just spent the last year in the Philippines as soon as I got off the plane and out of the airport I went straight to Daybreak for some of their amazing Biscuits & Gravy.
They havent amended hrs and do not open til 7.Get it together people

Food is usually always good.Wait staff is hit/miss, but mostly they are friendly.Its a diner so dont expect gourmet, but they have a decent selection, prices are on target for a diner and the food is usually pretty consistent.
The roasted veggies and sweet tea were good. The meatloaf was burnt and the gravy tasted like it came from a can. It was not a good meal. If you burn the meatloaf, you might not want to serve it.
Do not recommend at all. Food was ok but the service was terrible. Waitress had an attitude and we had to ask twice for sugar as there was none on our table. We resorted to taking sugars from tables around us as when she finally brought the sugar it wasnt enough. One of our orders was wrong and she knew it. She should have told the cook it wasnt right instead of just telling us to take off the guacamole. She did bring a new order after we asked but that is not the point.
This place is great. Amazing staff and great food. Very clean and very fast. Never had a problem here. Its hidden but a gem 💎. If your around there definitely check it out.
A country-styled diner, located near the Hourglass district, count me in! The setting is 100% diner, therefore it isnt going to wow you nor is the menu going to surprise you. However, what it will do is give you a great meal at a reasonable price. I ordered the South of the Border omelet and it was more food than I could handle (typical for a diner). The omelet was delicious and the breakfast potatoes were fantastic as well. Although, the chorizo could use a little more kick to them in the omelet. The kids pancake was an incredibly huge Micky Mouse, a delight for my child. The service was fast and friendly. The place could use a little renovation but i will definitely return for breakfast.

Ha E made it weekly visit on Saturdays with an ex co-worker and we sit and talk for a while.. Meals made very well just wish the serving sizes could be a bit larger for the price esp after you factor in a decent tip, but overall will continue to frequent until either the servicw goes to s**t, the chef changes, increase the prices substantially, or reduces the portion sizes.
