Adorable hat shop! Of course you can get your Mickey Ears here, but you can also buy things like baseball caps (with Disney logos), Goofy hats, Disney Santa hats, hard hats, soft hats, or just about any hat you can imagine. You can even customize your Mickey Ears with patches or letters. Embroidery is available in three different colors (for an additional fee, of course). Just as an FYI, Mickey ears tend to get smashed or lost during the day. Its a good idea to make this one of your last stops, like when your waiting for the evening parade. Oh, and those cool name badges all of the Disney World cast members wear? You can buy one here and have it personalized!! Random Fun Facts: The Chapeaus street address is No. 63 -- a tribute to the year that Disneys Summer Magic was released. According to the backstory of Main Street, the character of Nancy Carey from the film is the proprietor of the hat shop. And dont forget to check out the adorable antique phone found in this shop! Pick up the receiver and youll overhear a party line conversation between a mother and daughter arguing over the price of groceries.
What a wonderful place. My wife (fiancée at the time) and I walked in there and every employee was as sweet as can be. We chatted, laughed, and had just a great time. They were sweet and considerate and just amazing!LOVE THIS PLACE!
As the name suggests, a large variety of hats. Just be careful, many of the hats are foam and *very* hot to wear. Children like to pick out unique character hats and then you end up carrying them around.
The Chapeau the best hats shop. That was my first stop at Magic Kingdom! Its pretty expensive but just enjoy. I got my Peter Pan hat it was 14$.
Get your felt hats that you will never ever wear again! They sell these things for like $20 with your stupid name on it. Ive seen these things tossed in the garbage outside the parks at night. Ready for a secret... they buy these things in such bulk that they cost Disney around 47 cents each for the regular black ones. If you want the light up ones that are around $22 cost them around $1.23 each. So wear your stupid hat and enjoy it.
My name is Tallette Kitchen and we purchased a minnie mouse hat with ears attached at another shop onsite that didnt embroider and upon exiting we were directed to Chapeau for embroidery. After waiting over an hour due to multiple (2) sewing defects and misspelling of my daughters name, the fourth time we got it correct. We were compensated for our time with a hat for me, of which Im greatly appreciative. Unfortunately, my daughters enbroidered hat doesnt fit appropriately...and does not adjust appropriately. We now have a defective hat. Id be more than willing to ship the defective hat in exchange for a new embroidered hat that is cut appropriately to fit.
This place has a variety of hats for people to pick out! The employees are nice.
*Hidden Gem* The Chapeau sells hats and provides custom embroidery for a personalized touch.
Very unprofessional, you have to show an id to prove your name which I don’t get . What if I wanted to get my moms name on a hat ? do I have to bring her Id to the park with me ? 🤔
Very nice place
Check out the old time phone in the very back of the store.
If this is your first trip to Disney, this is where you get your wide variety of Mickey hats.
Lots of hats to choose from and friendly staff to converse with or receive help from.
Hats, hats, hats!!!!
