This has been the only mechanic I have used since I first found them 10 years ago. He is straight up and will never charge you for something you dont need. Its the middle of summer and my air conditioning was not working. I called him and he fit me in on a busy Friday and fixed my air conditioning while i waited! I absolutely love them, and I will never go to another mechanic!

This is in my opinion the best auto repair shop in the Daytona Ormond Beach area. The prices are fair the work is good and always guaranteed their work, however because they are so good they are always jam-packed busy. Trust me, it is always worth any inconvenience you have to have the right and correct job done.

Very honest mechanic. The issue with my truck could have been a very expensive repair, and there are mechanics out there that would have gone that route. These guys fixed it for a couple hours of labor with an oil change. Highly recommended, owner is a great guy.

The owner Ken is very reasonable. Explains everything thoroughly. Work ethic and knowledge is good. They check your vehicle and call prior to doing any work. Only downfall is they usually do not call for the day until 5pm. So have patience and you have found your mechanic.

I have been going to Auto Works of Ormond for many years, and they are the best. As a woman who doesnt know much about cars, Ive found its the only place I feel safe going, knowing they wont try to rip me off or charge me for unnecessary things. A few times when they were able to fix the problem within a short span of time, they didnt even charge me. Theyre honest about what is necessary to fix right away, and what things can wait to be dealt with, especially if it would be a more expensive job. Essentially, they are good at what they do, honest, polite, and fairly priced. I would definitely recommend them.

I have used Auto works of Ormond for more than 15 years and would be remiss to not respond to the review by Shane Diesel. Any transaction I have had with Auto Works, I have been treated fairly, professionally and have been satisfied with the work performed. They have always guaranteed their work and their parts and I have great doubts about Mr. Diesel having any work done there.1)The first time I used them, I got a quote for a transmission job in the 500 dollar range.When I went to pick up my vehicle, the price was 350. Kenny said many parts in the tranny were still okay, so no need to change them because they would outlast the truck. That was a first for me as I would have no idea if he changed them or not (honesty).2) I brought my car in with 3 issues a) service engine light on b) back up lights not working c) tire losing air. When I went to pick my car up, he tossed me the keys and said all done, no charge. The pcv valve just needed cleaned, the wire was burnt to the back up lights and they plugged the tire all at no charge. I will use no other mechanic.So everyone knows, I have no connection to the business other than being a satisfied customer.
