Finally, a cake that taste like it made with real quality ingredients! I am a discerning sweet eater that makes the time to go out of my way to get my cakes here. The Cakery Creation puts grocery store and even other shops to shame. The cakes a light and moist. The butter cream frosting actually taste like they use real butter! Honestly they make the best cake in Volusia county! Thank-you for sharing your talent in baking! It is appreciated!

Yes, the cupcakes are delicious and this is why I decided to go with Cakery Creation for my wedding cake and cupcakes. The business closed without telling myself, or my friends who went with Liz for their wedding cakes, and left us without our desserts. Supposedly, they are reopening in 2022 but that leaves myself and many others without our cakes and without being able to get our hundreds of dollars of a deposit back. I went through every email, phone number, and social media that I could find to reach out to get my money back. I have been trying to reach her for over a week and still nothing to speak of. She has left may brides without wedding cakes and took our deposits with her. I am at least lucky enough to have found out about her shutting down business otherwise it would have been a surprise two weeks before my wedding when I would have to go to pay the remainder of money. I now have 3 months to find a new bakery for my wedding cake and without a refund

AMAZING! We are so happy we found them! We went in for a cake tasting for our wedding and walked out with 6 cupcakes to go! They provide you will full sized cupcakes to taste to choose which wedding cake flavors and frostings you’d like. We couldn’t believe it when she brought out the tray with them, but we were super happy. Then our wedding cake was incredible. It looked just as we had hoped it would and then some and the cake tasted just as we remembered it. We will definitely be back here for cupcakes and cakes in the future!

So we stopped here because she was the winner of cake wars on Food Network and she did not disappoint!!! We got the cookie dough cupcake and the Florida orange cupcake and they were absolutely amazing!! Not too sweet but full of flavor and the cupcake was moist and fluffy ...the icing was spot on..if you are ever this way definitely add cakery creation to your schedule

I ordered a small gourmet cake, on the description it was white with a pink flower on top. And cupcakes with pink flowers on top. When I went to pick up the cake the flowers were all white as well as the cake And the flowers on the cupcake also white. The cake looked unfinished and with no color. Plain white cake with white flower and Some sort of cookies cookies on top. Not happy, it messed up my decorations. I will order from there again because the taste was delicious, but I will make a very precise description of what I want. I Will not go by the advertised picture, that was a failure!I asked the front desk and she tried to help, the lady in the back was a little rude, she said all cake color vary ( apparently mine was an absence of color) lol I will try to post a picture if the system allows me! totally disappointed if it wasnt because the cupcakes taste delicious I would have given them a 1!Ps: it only takes 5 min to call the customer and verify the color availability to make clients happy. Thanks for replying, the cake looked pretty, but not like the picture. I must say the taste was amazing 😉. I understand COVID makes things run things little different (trust me I’m a nurse).

We ordered, in person, a square cake with a small design on the corner and birthday greeting in center. Instead we received a round cake with a large logo in center and cake candies on bottom printed out Birthday greeting what should have been on the cake. Hopefully the taste will be perfect.

Had high expectations when ordered a birthday cake from Liz since she had won Cake Wars, 3rd season on Food Network. I guess because it was only an 8 cake, it was not real important to her. I would NEVER had sent out a cake that looked like this cake. NO PRIDE IN THE DECORATION OF THE CAKE. I was actually embarrassed to put it out at the party for 25 people. The cake was not even centered on the round tray. I will include pictures with this review. Jennifer knew I was very unhappy with the appearance of the cake. Was told Liz, the owner would call me on Tue. Today is Sunday and still no call. Which did not surprise me at all. If she takes no pride in her work, why would she care if one customer, who only spent $105 on one of her beautiful (????) Cakes was happy or not!!! I did send a picture of the cake to Food Network so they could see the lack of pride in her everyday work. I crossed my fingers the cake would at least taste wonderful. It was very moist, however, the frosting was very gritty. Tasted like sugar not mixed in well. Several people commented on the gritty frosting. What a let down. And let her care less attitude was even more shocking. It is ashame because I really though it would be a top of the line cake. I see where she has received alot of 5 stars. Sure wish I had been able to give the 5 starsJust a telephone call would have made a difference. Very disappointed with Liz and her poor attitude. I could NEVER recommend her to anyone. There is a lady in St Augustine on A1A who makes beautiful cakes and very accomadating. Cakey Creation was not. I should have gone to the lady in St Augustine. Even though she has not won Cake Wars, her cakes are just as beautiful and she is such a kind lady. That is who I will be using in Nov. for my husbands surprise birthday party. You know, word of mouth is best form of advertising and worst form of advertising. Maybe Liz thinks she is just too good and what is one unhappy customer. Will never order a cake from her again. The cupcakes should have been a Red Flag. They dont even compare to the Cake Lady in St Augustine or Camis Cupcakes. Her cupcakes are too sweet and the ratio of frosting to the cupcake is way too much. The only thing I can say good about Cakery Creation was her mini Key Lime Pies were wonderful. But when someone is as rude as she had been, I can live without the Key Lime Pie. Hate that this review is so negative, and one phone call could have changed everything. Would have at least shown she cared about one customer. Not shown me by her actions that as a customer, I did not matter!!!! As you can see they put the names of the 7 people whose birthdays we were celebrating on a board. No HAPPY BIRTHDAY on there. I gave the names on order. They were not put in order when I received the cake. You can see in second picture where cake was not even centered on round tray and looked like a 5 year old and cut the round circle out. The cake was ready to come off the round tray. So very very dissatisfied. And Jennifer was not really helpful when ordering the cake. Refused to have Happy Birthday written on the top! I understood she could not get a 7 names on cake, but no Happy Birthday. After I picked up the cake I called when I got home and expressed my disappointment and Jennifer was very rude. Tried to say cake probably was sliding in transit, which was not true. Hannah, who supposedly decorated cake packs experience and creativity. Which that should be up to Liz to train her. Again so very disappointed. Not only with cake but lack of interest from Liz.

They had made a dozen special design cupcakes and a 6 inch round cake for my nieces 13th birthday which was celebrated on Halloween. Everything was baked and made according to her specifications absolutely perfectly. And the cake and cupcakes were absolutely delicious. It is definitely a good value because the product is the best.

Cakery Creation was the best choice we could have made for our wedding cake(s)! We really wanted to do cupcakes and one small cutting cake instead of one giant cake for our reception, and with Cakery you do not get standard, run-of-the-mill cupcakes, but rather beautiful artisan desserts. When we went for our tasting, the owner, Liz, was there to assist and answer any questions we had while we tasted and rated all 10 cupcake flavors. Each one was just as delicious as the last and we couldnt narrow it down...so we didnt! At Cakery, you can order any number each flavor of cupcakes to fit your needs, so we were able to order a selection of each flavor which helped ensure there was something for everyone. On the day of the wedding, the dessert table was set up beautifully. You can provide your own stands but we opted to rent theirs. The table looked beautiful and the layout of the various flavors was artfully done. Our guests had nothing but praise for how delicious the cupcakes were and our cutting cake was just as delicious! You will not be disappointed with your decision of having Cakery Creation as your cake and dessert vendor! :)

She did the cake for my Hallowedding. It was simple and elegant with much detail to the flowers. She was prompt and everyone is still talking about how amazing the cake and cupcakes tasted. She was prompt for the setup and was such a joy to work with. We would highly recommend her to anybody. We got the key lime and Florida orange flavors. Wish I could give more than five stars. if I can find a way to attach the photos I will do so.

Got the Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie and it was delicious! Not exactly sure what the cream on top is...but it is heavenly!!

I ordered my daughters paw patrol cake from this shop and it was absolutely worth every penny. I could tell she put a lot of care in her work everyone that attended the party loved the cake. It was moist, extremely flavorful and gorgeous. Thank you so much ! I will be ordering again Soon ❤️

We grabbed some cupcakes here and they were all amazing! The orange dreamsicle was a favorite and the smores. Red velvet didnt disappoint either. Yum!

We have been coming to Ormond Beach for many years and have passed by the shop on several occasions. My wife and I stopped in for cupcakes and got several flavors. The young lady did a great job of describing the flavors. The cupcakes were absolutely moist and delicious. Will definitely go back for more!

Great cakes but they can be a bit pretentious. They told me I was all but crazy for trying to order a plain and simple birthday cake 9 days out...I gave them another shot, this one was a month in advanced, and the cake turned out excellent. Great product but could be more tactful with those who arent cake experts and who are just trying to give a small bakery some business. Would have been nice to have been sold something else (cupcakes or anything) even though they couldnt accommodate a custom order.

This place was amazing! My mom and I have heard about this store for a little while and finally got the opportunity to stop in this week. The cupcakes were anything but dry, stayed fresh even a couple days after we purchased them, and the price was very reasonable. I am so glad we stopped in here and I’ll be back when I’m home visiting from college😊 the location is ideal as it’s right by Kona and the new Ormond Garage location

I had 3 cakes made by Cakery Creation. I have never bought anything from them before because I try to keep sugar out of my diet.They are costly however, Ive heard so many amazing things about them that I decided to go for it!! We had a party for my Moms 81st birthday and my step sons 19th birthday and going in the Navy. The cakes were beautiful and talk about delicious!!! WOW!!! Amazing!!The best carrot cake Ive EVER had in my 57 yrs of life!! Every person at the party told me that the carrot cake was AWESOME!! It was!!Thank you Cakery Creation!! You are my go to for all special occasions now!!

Cakery Creations out did themselves with my cake! My husband is from Ormond Beach and though we had our wedding at the Treasury on the Plaza in St. Augustine, we wanted to bring some Ormond flair to our wedding. After trying 14 cupcakes that had different flavors and icings, we finally chose a 4 layer cake with Keylime, vanilla, orange, and vanilla as our cake flavor and Keylime, vanilla, and coconut as our buttercream. It was just as delicious as it was beautiful. I would definitely choose Cakery Creations again!

We ordered 6 cupcakes, 2 cakepops, and a pie. All super yummy. My favorite was the chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake. Would have loved to try the thumbprint cookies, too, but sold out by the time we got there. Definitely recommend this local sweet shop.

My husband and I wanted to try this place since we saw cake wars. We were not disappointed. We tried the key lime cupcake and orange cupcake. They were both so delicious!! I am not a fan of key lime, but this was so great and moist. Loved it!

My pilot son is turning 21 today - hes a student at Embry Riddle (aeronautical university), and Im 1200 miles away at home . His brother/sister-in-law are flying to surprise him, though - I wanted them to have a cute cake for him - so I called Cakery Creation. On VERY short notice, with almost no ideas from me, they did an outstanding job!!!!Very reasonable prices, amazing service - HIGHLY recommend these folks!

I consider myself a cupcake connoisseur and these cupcakes are Amazing!! They are tied for first place in my long list of best cupcakes. The key lime and vanilla bean were particularly delicious. I am so happy I discovered them (even if my scale will disagree) !!

I ordered a cake and cake pops for my daughter’s birthday and everyone couldn’t stop talking about them at the party. They were cookie dough cake pops that looked like barnyard animals and a two tiered horse themed cake. It was vanilla on the top and chocolate on the bottom and it is the best tasting cake I’ve ever had! All of the parents and even some kids asked me where I got it from. I usually order my cakes from Publix but the Cakery Creation is a thousand times better! Also, Liz and her staff are very helpful and friendly. Thank you Cakery Creation!

I purchased a Coconut Cream Cake for $57 for my husbands birthday yesterday, and I was very disappointed, The only good thing that I can say for the cake was that it was pretty, the cake was dry and the icing just left a terrible taste in my mouth. I should have went to Publix and gotten him his birthday cake. It would have been less expensive and probably tasted better.
