The original Big Scoop was a great treat. Huge portions and reasonable prices. Our last trip was a disaster. The lady working there couldn’t get our order together and she charged us a ridiculous amount of money for 2 tiny scoops of ice cream in small styrofoam cups! We’ll be looking for a better place to get ice cream and won’t be going back there!

Delicious Ice cream with many flavor choices. I had Double Chocolate. Salesperson was very nice and offered spoon samples of some flavors.

Had the stellar coffee and daughter had strawberry cheesecake.

Never get the ice cream.. Dont not have change for a fifty....

First time there and I tried a strawberry cheesecake float. The gentleman working there suggested using Sprite and it was outstandingly good!I’ll be back.

I cant attest to the ice cream but the Nathans hot dog was great. The person that prepped it and presented both hot dogs did a great presentation of the dogs. Wish I had got a picture of them. I was to hungry to take pictures, lol. Anyway, great deal. Get a hot dog with chips for $5.

I have been visiting this place A good amount of times over the last couple of months and I will say that yes the prices are not the best, but what makes the trip worth it is the new employee Corey who works there once or twice a week, he is the most fantastic person I seen there in a very long time.Every time I come he puts a smile on me,my wife and my kids faces.I highly recommend visiting this place when Corey is there,he’s the best employee they ever had.The ice cream is great as well,but Corey makes this place wonderful to vesit

New Management. Menu changed somewhat. Nice Lady that runs the place. I like Chili Dogs w/onions and a Root Beer. It is Open! I ate there yesterday 5/28/21. Google Maps is saying its closed. Not So.

Its real hand dipped ice cream every flavor you can think of they even have real floats and milkshakes and there at Destination Daytona

Closes at 7pm so didnt get to try it, not happy about the early closing guess they dont want to make money, go figure...

A true landmark in Destination Daytona. My family and i love coming here for their ice cream and their food. The thickest shakes around. Lee who works there is phenomenal and goes out of his way to make his cutomers happy.

Went there one time it was pretty good. Went back today and lady was working. Their name says Big Scoops. She made the scoops with a cookie scoop not an ice cream scoop. Two tiny scoops for $4.00. The worst $8.00 I have ever spent on ice cream. Will not ever come back to this place again!!!! I even took a pic of how small they are that I thought I could post. I had to ask for whip cream and a cherry. Could you imagine how small it really was if it didnt have the whip cream and cherry?Big Scoops should have said tiny scoops.

This is probably the worst customer service Ive ever received. The ice cream is extremely overpriced and the quality is poor. Inconsistent sizes and sour taste. The woman scooping was incredibly rude and appeared to not have time for us. She looked dirty. Her stomach was hanging out from under her crop top and she had very unkept fingernails. A man appeared from the back and asked me to move from the outside seating while I was eating the overpriced ice cream and proceeded to sit and light up a Virginia slim. I asked him if he was the owner of the run down rat trap, to which we replied yes. I told him good and I would never return.

Its was only 6pm when we arrived there signs all says open yet nobody around 2 get ice cream, thats very unprofessional, but after reading reviews I guess Im glad we didnt waste our $$

This location is absolutely outstanding. Certainly worth going back to. Prices were average for the menu.

I was on the fence, but Lee recommended the Butterscotch Bomb and it was FANTASTIC!!!! Best ice cream that I have had in years!!! This is a destination stop for anyone visiting Ormond Beach.

$8 for a shake? And it wasnt even that great tasting! Plenty of flavors to choose from and good service but imo prices are a little high for the quality.

The customer service was terrible. The woman who took our order gave a half-second smile that had no hint of genuinity that made us wish we hadnt even come and given our service. On top of this, the orders took an unreasonable amount of time to accomplish. What should have been a fun experience was ruined by the bad attitude of the employee.

When they say big scoop they mean a BIG scoop haha i was very pleased.

Management changed over the last year or so. Poor customer service, and it seems like every time I go, they are closed!! Also, staff shouldnt complain about customers not tipping in front of other customers. Bad taste!
