They fired a 16 year old girl for missing work because she had covid symptoms and her sister tried to commit suicide. James and Angela the owner fired her over a text message as well. They said she should have her affairs in order and that they have to run a business before they are human beings and take the situation into consideration. Also, would you really want ice cream from a place that wants workers to come in sick? Do not give these people your money. Go to sonic.

Got a chocolate dipped vanilla ice cream cone and a chili dog. The ice cream was fantastic, and the chilli was really good too. The hotdog was a tad firm, and could probably go with being boiled for longer.Besides that, Rainbow Park is right next door, theres no better place to take your kids after a long day of playing in the park on a hot day.

They are practicing COVID Safety Precautions 😷 They offer a small variety of hamburgers, hot dogs or chicken. They have ready made ice cream cakes and treats. They provide vanilla, chocolate or twist soft serve to customize about Any Dessert you might like. This Dairy Queen always has very fresh ice cream and their products are consistently delicious. If you are on a budget, note that a small hot fudge sundae with peanuts costs about as much as the larger peanut buster parfait. If I didnt have such a long ride home, I would have bought the Parfait and ate half and put the remainder in the freezer.

Lets talk about how we waited 34 mins for a blizzard and a small cone. Lets also discuss how they managed to have to re-make the cone 3x after dropping it in the chocolate dip. Laughing and talking was more important than serving customers. The girls had one speed: turtle and the boy stared at the order screen for 20 of the 34 mins doing nothing to help. Id recommend finding new employees for this store. Ive been coming here for years and have never seen it in such disarray.

The eight piece tender combo I got not good at all. The ranch was very runny and I got a large Rocky road blizzard which they put lid on it and it was running down the sides they did not clean it off which I had to and it was not thick thats all melted and what youre supposed to turn upside down they would have did that they would have seen that one was not made properly.

Absolutely horrible service.The cashier was just wondering around picking at her ears while there was at least 5 people waiting for their order to be taken. They let someone else take my order and didnt even get the order correct. Btw the only special request was for no whip cream on one milkshake. Then got an attitude when I pointed it out. I wont ever go back here and I suggest that you dont either.

Today at 3:30pm My wife and I, both seniors, visited this Dairy Queen location, which we do too often. The same familiar young hard working staff are usually there, but today was different.We got the same two blizzards we always get. Two minutes into eating them my wife showed me her cup and a medium length straight black hair was coming up out of the ice cream. I said, no problem, Ill go in and ask them to prepare another.I went back into the store and to the counter and a 40-something man who made the blizzard came to me. I quietly whispered what had happened and asked if he would remake it. He asked me where the hair was. I told him in the cup which I threw away on the way in. With Covid, I saw no point in us handing a cup back and forth.He said that without seeing the actual hair, he would not remake the blizzard. I thought I misunderstood him and repeated what he said, he confirmed and said yes. It was busy in there so I informed that him I would take it up with corporate. He told me to do that. What an jerk. Instead of just remaking the blizzard, he send me off to corporate.What did he think? That two seniors were trying to screw him out of another blizzard two minutes after handing the first one to me?We will spread the news and invite others to take a few minutes to drive south to the Daytona location. As for that guy, who is probably the owner, may Karma have mercy. And may Dairy Queen make better choices who they give stores to.

Im from North Carolina, visiting family here. Sure enough when I called, the young woman who found it had my wallet. Tried to offer her a reward, but politely refused, wishing me a Merry Christmas. MMM! Ice cream delicious! This fast-food chain started in this city and one time we had two but Now we have one. This is not do it yourself ice cream. And they have a variety of flavors and ice cream selections. They have blizzards, sundaes, ice cream cones, and banana splits. This DQ has soft serve ice cream but some have the hard serve. There is also ice cream cakes and bars as well as a small selection of lunch meals; (hot dogs, chilli cheese hot dogs, and two different sandwiches). So check it out. Dont let the exterior frighten you.

Such a Friendly restaurant. The owners were out and about greeting their customers and making sure they were enjoying their meals. Such yummy treats they offer. Their lil boys were adorable and brand new daughter so beautiful. What a blessed Family.We will be back very soon. I also witnessed the owner giving a table full of children some rolled coins so they could donate into their cool donation container for the cause. How Awesome. ❤️

The selection of flavors is always very interesting making it hard to pick. Most of the staff are very knowledgeable about the ice cream they sell. Very friendly, attentive, and helpful to make great choices of ice cream to try. Their ice cream is really good for hot days due to its sticky, and not easily melt quality.

I went here about six months ago and wanted a soft serve cone and it was a very hot day. So I went thinking I was going to get a really nice sized soft serve come but I didnt! I paid for a small Cone close to $3 and got like a kids size instead but the kicker was it took three people 2 create that cone... Somethings wrong! I Wont Go Back!

I went to Dairy Queen today for the second time in six months. Both times the customer service has been atrocious. Tonight we went and they were swamped which was fine, lots of to go orders with all that is going on. The staff was being fairly rude to every customer who walked in. After recieving our order we asked for lids. One staff member shrugged and was annoyed. The other slammed a lid on my blizzard and rolled her eyes. I dont know who you have working for you, but during times like these if you dont like your job, Im sure someone would gladly take it.

The men that work here are top notch customer service. They let us know of the specials that were going on. The gentleman behind the register also let us know about the new rewards app. It was a much better experience at this DQ than other ones Ive been too.

Very small DQ location in a nice quiet neighborhood. Store was actually so small that we barely fit in the door due to the extremely slow service. One employee must have been new as he had to compare every ice cream cone to the picture on the wall to ensure the correct size and seemed lost when trying to give out the ice creams to the correct people. Good ice cream though.

Great service with a smile! The staff moves customers through quickly, but always with a smile and a correct order! The restaurant area is kept very clean and there is a well maintained outside patio area. A definite stop on your travels around the Ormond Beach area.

Always great friendly service. Management is always very friendly and inviting. Great place to stop for a quick small treat or to get a specialty ice cream cake custom made without emptying the wallet.

I ordered a chocolate shake with a pump of hot fudge to be added after the shake was made. The owner made it incorrectly, then charged me 85 cents extra for the squirt of fudge! It was very petty, and unreasonable when there is a HOT FUDGE shake on the menu for actually the same price as the chocolate shake. Also their Blizzards are on the light side compared to other DQs.

Nice little Dairy Queen nearby. Customer service could use some work and they are a bit slow. I also wish they had fries instead of just chips. But it’s Dairy Queen and I love Dairy Queen!

The owner here is a great guy. Very well kept store, clean, and friendly staff. Our food was made to order. I would go out of my way to eat at this DQ. Even with a half menu! My husband said you have to try the chilli dogs.

They didnt have the flavor my granddaughter wanted but put flavoring and chocolate pieces in vanilla ice cream to make the flavor she wanted I thought that was cool

They have signs posted that say you have to have your recipe to get your food but when my husband goes to get our order and tries to show the recipe he gets yelled at that they dont it and they slammed the window shut on him didnt even tell us which blizzard was which. My niece had ordered cookie dough and found m&ms and other candy pieces in hers and the cups werent even full either. I will never go to this location again

I haven’t been here in ten plus years until yesterday. Went in and got and Ice cream for myself and my dog. The counter person gave me a little bit bigger cup for my dog. Went outside and got my dog out of the car and walked over to bench near Dairy Queen but not using there chairs. Gave the dish to my dog and proceeded to eat mine. When my dog finished she moved behind my and rolled in the grass. A couple stopped over and petted her and said what a smart dog. A minute later someone came out of Dairy Queen walking very aggressively toward my dog yelling about a leash law. I called my dog over and we walked back to our car while this guy verbally kept it up, calling me an idiot and trying to escalate things. I told him I wasn’t going to debate him, he again mentioned the leash law, called me an idiot and drove away. I have read the Leash Law and it states a dog that responds to verbal commands is equivalent to a leash in Volusia county. I wasn’t breaking any laws and hope this person does not work at Dairy Queen. Guess I won’t return any time soon.

Showed up late at night. Lovely young lady named Andria smiled and welcomed me despite the late time and being the only known worker at the moment. Was also enthused to go the extra mile and make my milkshake extra tasty. Usually I dont right reviews for FF restaurants, but I was very pleased with the service and milkshake. PROPS.
