I recently brought my 2012 dodge caravan in for a check engine light and brake inspection. After a $3900 quote for several items, it was recommended I change my front pads and rotors. I inspected them afterwards to discover very little wear and found paperwork that my mechanic just replaced them months prior. I attempted to discuss this with service manager but he only defended the fact that they were reported worn in the video and no measurement was given in the quote. He would not give me a direct answer as to why I was quoted for a full replacment when there was very little wear. I now realize I cannot trust this local dealer with their word on parts replacement or trust that I am spending my money senibly. I was looking for some input and did not want to write this review but after the phone call I thought it was needed. Good luck if you do business here.

Body shop does good work but my last two visits with the service department are suspect. First time I went in for an oil change and had them rotate the tires, when I got home I realized that they didnt put the locking nut was not put back in my car. When I went back to get it they emptied a bucket of them on the floor until they found one that fits. Second time I went for an oil change and returned home I noticed that they didnt put a valve stem caps back onto one of the tires. This makes me wonder if they cant do the simple things, how can I be assured that my vehicle is properly being serviced and what else are they forgetting to put back on the car.

I wish I could give bonus stars for how awesome my experience was here. I spent about a week working with Justin Marshall to get me into a new car. He was crazy knowledgeable and gave me all the information I could ask for. Justin laid out multiple payment options and how everything would break out with small tweaks here and there, specific to me. On top of dropping continuous knowledge, he is a down to earth and funny guy. Id recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or Ram! Even though I worked with Justin specifically, I spoke with a couple other employees and they were great as well. The financial guy, TJ, checked in to see if I wanted anything to drink and even popped in the 2nd time I visited just to catch up. Overall, cant rave about this place enough!!!

Im not fond of people who dont keep their word. In this case, I had set an appointment for this morning to have my tires changed out. I got a confirmation and everything.When I got there, the service manager was aggressive and rude, telling me that the service had been moved to another dealership, and a different time.Whats worse, he scolded me, and treated me like a child.Funny thing, however. I was making a final decision on either buying a new Mazda CX-9 or a Chrysler Pacifica to replace my aging Nissan Quest. I thought I would try their service department out with a small project and see how I would be treated.Looks like the Mazda gets the win.A simple apology goes a long way with me. I didnt get that. What I got was a seemingly frustrated person who flipped his computer screen around, thrust his finger on the screen to show me I was crossed off their service list for today. See, youre not in here? he shouted.Youre right, Im not, and wont be ever again. Thanks for letting me know.

After going through a difficult lease process with this dealership in 2017, I was nervous to buy out my Jeep Wrangler. I was having communication problems with the first sales person I talked to, (trying to get numbers and rates). However, I got connected with another and after talking to Clint on the phone a couple times, I felt SO much better. Everything was quick, easy, and no pressure. Got to the dealership and everything was ready to roll. John who was a newer salesmen, was so friendly and easy going that this is truly the first car buying experience Ive enjoyed! All the paperwork and extra warranty/coverages were explained as we went through signing docs. I will gladly work with either again in the future. Bonus- John wears awesome Christmas sweaters to match his awesomeness 😎 and Clint is a Jeep guy, easy going and knowledgeable.🤟

Justin Marshall made my buying experience effortless and enjoyable. He was extremely knowledgeable on all the features of my new truck and took the time to explain everything that was important to me. This truck was actually at a different location so he had to get it delivered which he had done by the morning I wanted to come in. Absolutely not high pressure sales, he basically explained all my options and guided me through the process. This has been my best car buying experience ever. Went in for my oil change and had a dead key fob. Colten said they would change battery for free and the parts desk. Well went to the parts desk and there was a fee so we decided to change it ourselves. When I went to pay the bill for the oil change I brought up the fee for the change and instead of owning up to his mistake he lied. Told us he said there was a fee and then went to LAUGH in our faces. I can handle an mistake but to lie then laugh at me not cool. Will be getting all my services and next car elsewhere. Lost a lifetime customer today. We did bring this up with management and they seemed not to care one bit. Very disgusted and wish I would have never made such a large purchase at Bergstrom of Oshkosh or any Bergstrom.

2019 Dodge transmission acting up and my exhaust sounded like there was a leak somewhere. Made appointment for 9am but left without the vehicle even getting looked at due not having a loaner and not enough time that morning to diagnose before I had to leave for work. I originally posted a poor review based upon this appointment experience as I think anyone would. I had an exhaust issue that could of been looked at and during that time the transmission diagnosis could of got rescheduled. At least I would of left feeling something was accomplished.Service manager followed up with the appointment and its rescheduled and a loaner will be available. Hopefully as appointments get scheduled a loaner will be discussed prior vs after the customer shows up, when dealing with lengthy diagnosis items. I think this is a great continuous improvement idea moving forward. I look foward to my next appointment and hope to get the Bergstrum experience I know and expect.

My dad bought a Silverado from here three weeks ago. It had paint chip on the hood n fender. Also missing a set of keys. John Sparacino was the salesman. He promised to have to find the other set of keys or have to replace it, nothing yet. He also promised to get some touch up paint, still nothing. Have called and left two messages now, but no answers. This business seems dont care about you once you leave the door. I will never buy or recommend Bergstrom to anyone, stay away. Oh, well. Guess we be keeping the special surprise that was left in the vehicle. Thank you, but NO THANKS. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!!!

My daughter, Allison, had her truck in today and the truck wasnt washed. She had recalls done on her truck that were suppose to done in 3-4 hours. First, she gave them the truck yesterday at 10am. She didnt get her truck back until 2pm today and only because she called to find out when it will be done. She had the call on speaker and Derik told her they were done and it just had to be washed. A half hour later she picked it up and they couldnt find it and it wasnt washed. Will never be back there again.

I am thoroughly devastated tonight! I brought my car in there. I go there and I have an infiniti but love the service there. I took my car in for a wheel bearing. I had to make an appointment and the extended warranty covered what needed to be fixed. Then I got a call from Mike the service agent that I have a $350 bill because the speed sensor was broke while they were replacing the wheel bearing.And now I am responsible for that cost. They break it and I pay to fix it?? Id love to negotiate this and pay the $50 for the part but Bergstrom is telling me I owe the full $350. They cant even negotiate this? They broke the part and now I have to pay for it? Sad that they called me and made me to believe Its up to me to pay up. I use Bergtrom because I am a professional and I trust other professionals. I work too hard to figure out how to sell cars or how to fix cars! I used them because I trusted them and to get a call that they broke a part in my car and now I have to pay to fix it.... its so disappointing...I have been looking at a new Acura MDX this month. I wont be looking at Bergstom, if they can look you in they eye and ask you to pay $350. because the broke a speed sensor. What I truly believe is that is is an issue...There should be some training on removing the part and to try to save it before you continuously charge the client for the fix. That may be they key!

Not impressed. I brought in my 2017 Dodge Eco Diesel as the truck message instructed me to do so. They did diagnostic testing, fixed the issue and charged me. Not even two days later the same message came up on the truck. Same issue. So, what exactly did I pay for??

I purchased a used 2019 pickup truck a month and a half ago, i did notice some paint touchup work behind the rear wheel before the purchase and mentioned it to the salesman. i took the truck thru a touchless car wash 1 day after i got it home and noticed 2 dime sized paint chips in the same area. i sent a photo to the salesman and he said they would send me a stick of touchup paint, i texted the salesman 2 weeks later looking for the stick, he said he was working on it. i still have not received anything and decided to just give up on him. The closer i look at it now, the more i believe they tried to hide some damage to that area, Not impressed & will take my business to a different dealer in the future !

Yes, another bad experience with the service department. I was told that they could do a recall for the bad turbo lag on my Eco diesel by there service manager Rachel but once I get there and after a half hour of waiting I was told that they cant do it. I took time out of my day to get this done and once again the service manager Rachel doesnt know what she is doing. The service department use to run so smooth with the old staff that they had. The largest dealer in the state with the worst service department in the state!

Friendly, courteous and easy to deal with. We originally just stopped to see what was available in their used inventory. Justin met us in the parking lot and was extremely helpful right from the start. We took a car for a test ride but told him we had other cars and dealerships we wanted to check out. There was no pressure at all. We went back after finally settling on the car. The service continued to be excellent from start to finish. Clint was helpful and polite during financing. We never felt pressured or hurried. The car was detailed and filled with gas (which seems a rarity now days) and we left feeling like we had been treated like people instead of just another sale! I would recommend them and will make them a top stop when I am in the market for another vehicle.

Brought my car in on Friday to have it diagnosed, so for that & not even 24 hour rental car use came to almost $200. They were quoting me well over $1000 for what they claimed to be the issue. I went elsewhere and got same work done for a fraction of what they were trying to scam me out of at a well reputable dealership/service center. And THEN to find out my car was completely misdiagnosed after the repair was beyond frustrating. I am so glad I did not spend the $1000 to have it fixed through your company just to be out $1200+ on top of the rental car I had to pay for out of my own pocket due to my car not being fixed. My car isnt even worth fixing at this point and I have decided to go a different route. Very disappointed since this is a Chrysler location and my car should have been properly diagnosed.

Even a few months after when I would come in for servicing or a maintenance issue he would continue to greet and assist me with anything.The Service Manager Rachel went above an beyond to make sure a very frustrating issue with My 2018 Grand Cherokee Summit was taken care of as efficiently as possible. I went to the dealership for a minor update on my Dodge Caravan, they had done a recall on the ignition switch and the keys, and I have a vehicle that was subject to the recall, so it had to get the ignition switch and the keys exchanged. It was a very nice experience to get this done, and I think Bergstrom is a very good team to get a good vehicle from, and I would like to suggest this dealership to anyone who is looking at a new vehicle.

I was not pleased with my recent experience at BergStrom Service on Jackson. When I dropped off my Jeep, Michael had no idea what would be covered under warranty. He said he would let me know. Off I went in a loaner vehicle, which was very nice. He called me about 20 minutes later and said nothing was covered, I said OK Id be back right away to get my vehicle because I knew I could get it fixed much cheaper at my local mom & pop owned business. I was all the way across town and started heading back. When I was 5 minutes away Michael called and asked if I had Zurich,which I do. He said he would call Zurich and see what was covered and call me back. 15 minutes later he called and said most of it would be covered and I said to go ahead with it. When I picked up my Jeep the next morning it was out in the cold and not washed. I always heard of your excellent customer service and washing of cars after service. I was disappointed that it wasnt washed and that it was out in the cold. I dont look forward to ever having to go back.

They are all sweet and happy to help when you buy a vehicle but their service is for $hit!! I took my vehicle in for the 90k package and to have the brakes done, check engine light checked, and fog lamps replaced. When it was done I drove it home with no issues and then went to go to the store and boom engine light came back on and now it makes a weird noise that it never made before and the brakes are squealing. Service people are rude and not helpful. Dont bother taking your vehicle here unless you feel like shelling out $1500 for them to do nothing. Well I guess the fog lights are working so at least they know how to change a bulb.

Called ahead to get a price on an oil change for a diesel Jeep. The service rep told me $70. When I got there, another rep said the price would be $55. I went to the waiting room which was stocked with complimentary cookies, soda and coffee and had a play room for kids. The restroom was clean and really nice, to include marble counters. The service rep came in and told me that he misquoted me and that the price would be $70 which I agreed to. When the oil change was done, I went to check out and the bill was $97! The rep said that the Grand Cherokee required a special oil and therefore the price difference. This is a Jeep dealership and these guys should know their products and an oil change shouldnt be an estimate. After speaking to a 3rd rep, the original quoted price of $70 was honored. They did give a complimentary car wash. After I left, I noticed the tire pressure light was on (which was on before I got there). The service order showed that the tires had been inflated to 40 psi yet the diagnostics showed 3 tires were in the 35psi range and one was 28 psi. Clearly they did not service the tires. I probably will not return.

I heard from others NOT TO come here, but I was thinking it was just a bad day.I should have just listened!! this guy Daniel from parts, around 5:40 pm was so rude!! he shoved a box in my face when I was asking if the parts were MOPAR brand! picks up the box and picks it up puts it literally inch form my eyes!! The rumors here in Oshkosh area are very true. these people are only nice when you buy a car but very rude after you sign.Dan was cutting me off when asking questions, I ask questions because I dont want to get the wrong parts you A*******! Bought a used car from them in January, that buying process went smoothly. Supposedly this car passed their inspection without any noted issues. Two months after the purchase I needed to repair the exhaust and a large patch of rust suddenly appeared on a wheel well. A month later and it was noted that the tires were wearing unevenly. Took it in to find that the ball joints on the front were loose and had to be replaced along with the control arms. How do you miss rusted and failing brackets on an exhaust system and loose ball joints on a vehicle inspection? I mean, I know I missed it but Im not a car inspector.A month later and all three engine mounts had to be replaced. And now, a month later the brakes need to be replaced. Oh, and on the bottom back panel I noticed black duct tape that I hadnt noticed before, but now the edges of it are dirty so I now noticed the outline of the tape.I contacted them about all the things going wrong, some that should have been noted upon inspection of the vehicle, and asked if they would give me back $5,000 for the vehicle. I had paid $6,500 for it five months previously. I told them I would then take that money and add another $10,000 onto it to buy a different vehicle from their lot. They came back with an offer of $2,400 trade-back. I said no.Addendum: Shortly after posting this they reached out to me and we reached a more satisfactory, not quite what I asked for but better, agreement, I changed my rating from one star to three.Update: When I went there Mike on the sales floor was great but Clint who did the paperwork was very rude. He made it clear he did not agree with the deal I made. He told me that I got a lot more trade back for my car then I should have and also told me that I cant come crying back to them when my newest car breaks.

I just purchased my second van from Bergstrom. I worked with Paul Cotter both times, he makes purchasing a vehicle fast and easy. He answered all my questions and responded quickly to my phone calls and text messages. We test drove the van on Saturday and drove it off the lot on Monday, cant get much faster than that. I would recommend going to Bergstrom Chrysler in Oshkosh and ask for Paul, you wont be disappointed! Thanks Paul!!

Even after being warned by close friends, co-workers, and family of the issues they had with Bergstroms service center, I still decided to schedule a oil change/tire rotation with the Oshkosh Bergstrom service center. While my car was being serviced, I was contacted by staff at Bergstrom to let me know I would need new brake pads & rotors. After choking down the EXTREMELY over priced cost for replacement ($400) I said fine, proceed. After picking my car up I started to hear a substantial rattling noise and called Bergstrom to inquire how this noise coincidentally happen after I left their service center. I brought my car back and was told I need a new muffler which would cost over $600.00. Again how coincidental that this issue happen immediately after my car left the service center yesterday. My suggestion to anyone looking for maintenance to please look elsewhere. It is quite unfortunate when considering the Bergstrom name use to be a reputable/trustworthy name. **UPDATE** After taking my Jeep to a different Mechanic (after being told by Bergstrom service center that I needed a new muffler) I was told that two bolts were broken off and that’s what was making the noise. Total repair would be $100.00. Absolutely disgusted with Bergstrom.

I was searching for a Toyota Venza, and Bergstrom in Oshkosh happened to have one available at their Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram location. The moment I saw the car, I fell in love with it and knew I had to have it. Joe and Ed made the car buying process fun (yes, fun!) and were very helpful and willing to work with me and my timeline. They were not pushy or demanding, which was a breath of fresh air. I really enjoyed my experience with Bergstrom, and would highly recommend them to anyone searching for a vehicle. I was only disappointed with them once and that was because I didnt get to keep the balloons they had used to decorate the car (which is obviously minor). Overall, a great experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone. As I said as I was pulling out of the lot, I want to marry my car!.

Worthy of your business!While enroute to Milwaukee from Stevens Point, my Jeep Grand Cherokee decided that it was time for the alternator to give up the ghost! Fortunately, I was able to nurse it to Bergstroms. They were able to check it out and replace the alternator within a couple of hours. Impressed by the fact that they were not only able, but happy to help adrop in (not a regular customer). Highly recommend the folks at Bergstrom Service!

I came in for an oil change. They did the oil change and rotated my tires. They also washed my vehicle for me. At the end, the told me a few things to keep an eye on and said I could wait until my next oil change to get them fixed so it would save me some money. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable. Great service every time!

Customer service is excellent I’ve taken 2 trucks to them for warranty/recall work and they always have my trucks done on time and with no B/STheir shop rate on the outher hand is rediculus my A/C had a slow leak and they wanted $500 just to diagnose it and add some dye. I own my own shop and I understand that they have overheard but come on the parts cost about $100 and maybe 2 hrs of labor. I went to my local mechanic since I don’t have the machine to evacuate the system and he charged me $79 for a diagnostic

Ive never had bad service until the guys I normally worked with there shuffled me to a new guy in 2019. Ive had to call back when hours go by and I hear nothing about whether my vehicle is ready or has been checked, I have to call for shuttle myself, I ask for only parts be replaced that need to be... only to be charged the full amount and all the parts replaced regardless. Customer service has gone down the gutter.

Wow! Words cannot describe how great of an experience I had at Bergstrom Jeep in Oshkosh.I was unsure as to what vehicle I was looking for and was blown away by the patience of Paul Cotter, the sales manager at that location. Paul was quick to respond to my emails and was always polite and informative. Not only did he give me a GREAT deal on my trade, he also stuck with me while I test drove several different vehicles until I was able to determine which one I wanted. Once I had picked out my vehicle, he worked with me to get my payments to where I wanted them and never once complained about my incessant emails and questions. As a matter of fact, he was light hearted and joked around with me throughout the entire process.This is the first time I can say that I honestly enjoyed my car buying experience and without hesitation would recommend Bergstrom Jeep in Oshkosh. I strongly recommend Paul Cotter - he was nothing short of fantastic!

I bought a Jeep Wrangler from this location 2 months ago and my experience then in all honesty was awful. Being young and a female one of the sales reps tried swindling me into paying more money for a warranty. After that happened I left leaving this Bergstrom location feeling uncomfortable and belittled. With much thought I called and asked to speak with the sale’s manager, I addressed my concerns and he was very understanding and kind. I got off the phone feeling better then I did before the phone call. Later that week I purchased my $30,000 vehicle from this location. Today I am brought back into this bergstrom after discovering a sound coming from my vehicle. I was greeted by two men at the service desk, when I then addressed my concerns in my Jeep and also made it clear that this inconvenience with my vehicle couldn’t happen at a worse time because I am moving ( 2 hours away) in a few weeks. The man responded in a quite irritated tone and told me that repairs are booked out for a few weeks. His response made me once again feeling as if I wasn’t a worthy customer. Now sitting in the waiting room I was quite frustrated hence why this review is being wrote. After almost posting my previous review a lady from the service area came out and told me that since the vehicle was just purchased the repairs that were needed on the vehicle would be done free of charge. I told her I appreciated it very much and that I have had numerous bad experiences here now and her kindness does help. I’ve been a loyal customer to many Bergstrom locations for years and have bought 3 vehicles now from this company and have always got my oil changes for all my cars done at the Washburn Street location in Oshkosh. After this experience I don’t think I’ll be buying anymore vehicles from this company and to anyone thinking about purchasing one from this dealership, do your research, read reviews, and if you do decide to do business with this company and especially with this location, hopefully you will get the right sales rep, manager, and or service rep that will treat you how you deserve to be, despite your age, gender, and knowledge in cars.

Our service advisor, Steve, was personable and professional, and we were appreciative that he kept us informed on the work being done on our Jeep. This place is a joke. Needed a fuel cap for a Dakota and came here to get a quality OEM part same day. Parts counter requested VIN to find it (No other dealer has ever needed this information through dozens of dealer parts I have purchased in past). When they finally found it, they claimed only one was in stock (doubt it) and they were asking twice the cost of the same genuine mopar part anywhere else online. I asked if they could do any better on price and they said no, we dont negotiate. If you can get it for a better price go somewhere else. And so I did, and recommend you do too. I wont ever be coming back or recommending Bergstrom to anyone for anything. Furthermore, Ill gladly drive elsewhere when it comes time to buy a new vehicle.

I was visiting Oshkosh from out of state and my dodge van needed a turn signal/hazard relay. I knew the problem but couldnt find the part, I went to a long time mechanic in the area and he called this dealership to order the part. They said it would be in tomorrow (a day after I was planning on leaving) and gave me an order confirmation number. My mechanic said we were from out of town and needed to leave so the parts employee knew this in advance.The next day I arrived at 9am and went to the parts dept. The employee checked on the part and then said, huh, it must not have ordered. How this can happen is beyond me, as I had a confirmation number, but he then proceeded to tell me to come in tomorrow and it would be here. I told him I was from out of state and needed to leave now. He offered me no help. He didnt say he could order it for the location I was traveling too or a discount to keep me a customer. Nor did he apologize. I was very disappointed to say the least. We did order the part from Amazon at a fifth of the price, with guaranteed delivery and great customer service. I will not patron this location again.Update: I contacted the dealership directly and they responded to me quickly after having researched what went wrong. They were prompt and professional admitting their mistake. Within a day they sent us a kind note and financial gift for our situation. This was resolved in an excellent manner and Im truly appreciative. I would recommend utilizing their services just because of the professional manner they responded to me.

We had an unfortunate incident with our fairly new trucks fuel pump this week. Bergstrom service dept went over and above to get us a loaner vehicle until repairs were finished,did the repairs in a timely fashion,and got the parts and labor covered under a courtesy warranty, since our powertrain coverage didnt cover it. They are a professional,courteous,and fun team of guys! No doubt we will be back and buy our 4th vehicle from Bergstrom. They get and understand and exceed customer service expectations!

The service tech(s) really took the time to diagnose the issue with my car, and because it was a bigger (more expensive) fix, they tested it thoroughly to be positive it was the correct fix. Ive had only a portion of the problem fixed in the past by another shop, but it wasnt until Bergstrom ran a full diagnostics on it that the real issue- that ended up being the main cause to some of the little issues I never even bothered having checked out- was finally fixed.Unfortunately, my vehicle wouldnt start and left me stranded at work. Bergstrom works with Expert Automotive Services, and they did a really great job loading my car onto the flatbed and towing it to the shop for me.

Ladies...if you are looking for a NOT misogynistic dealership, THIS is it!First off, Zach is an amazing salesperson. He made sure to go over what I was looking for and offered me ONLY what fit that criteria. Went over all my specs questions and never once made me feel inferior like many salesmen do. He didnt babysit me when I took the test drives...I took both vehicles out by my lil ol self.I brought my 18 year old daughter with so she could learn something about the car buying process. Again, super impressed by the treatment we received as anything I already knew, Zach had no qualms explaining to my daughter. Very gracious...Then theres Jeff...the man of many hats, lol.He also explained things well...and I know my daughter had a great time getting teased for calling Jeff old! She didnt really but it was fun picking on her a little. The way Jeff worked the financing was expert level and quite entertaining.To top it off, when we went to take the vehicle home, they put both my daughters and my names on the congrats board they put on when you take it home. Good touch, guys...way to make my daughter feel like a part of the process!If you are female and appreciate not being patronized by salesmen and their financing departments, THIS is where I recommend you go and who you should talk to!!!

I wasnt really impressed with the salesman. He didnt seem to know his product very well. He was going to charge us for a full size spare tire at a higher price than the Jeep website. Instead of knowledge and enthusiasm we were shown a very ho hum and old salesman kind of experience. I expected more from a Bergstrom dealership.
