The owners are a young couple. I mainly have dealt with her. She is a sweetheart and she knows her stuff. This is a small but nice place. Parking is easy. The only problem I have ran into is their hours in the summer. There are times when they should be open and there not. But I get all my bait from there and never had a problem.

New owner with terrible policy on providing minnows. They stop selling minnows in June and throughout the summer. What bait shop stop selling minnows in the late spring and all summer? The post spawn is still occuring for most fish species in late Spring! Her reasoning is, she doesnt want the minnows to die because of the heat. Dont waste your time and gas to come here. Go buy minnows somewhere else. Other than that, its an ordinary bait shop.

This place is always very friendly, organized neatly, provides many options in takle, and is conveniently located on the river. They also provide a cooler with drink.

Every time I call or go there, of course the fish are supposedly biting like crazy so get all the bait u can. Different story on the water though. Last time I went I asked for shiners, Ive seen thousands of shiners in my days but what I got DEFINITELY werent shiners. Just some kinda skinny, streamlined almost bullet like ugly fish that they probably netted when they ran out of real shiners.

For a bait shop the hours suck. Who opens a bait shop at 7 or 8 in the morning. Would suggest using Fishtales that is open at 5am
