Store closed in the middle of the afternoon 1:30pm. No signs saying why

This is in reference to the Conway New Hampshire store. I shop there every week and have been for 4 years now but last night when I went in I had to walk through a wall of cigarette smoke from employees smoking by the front door. (I later found out it was the manager.) I am reporting this to corporate, this is totally inappropriate. When I called to speak to someone at that particular store I spoke with the manager and I found out she was the one that was out front smoking and she was very rude and condescending. She had some choice words for me. Bad news travels fast. I am reporting this but I dont think Ill be shopping there anymore.

Everything is always neat and organized at this particular one. Ive been to others and they all are very messy

Lots of inventory and helpful pleasant staff. Most importantly to me these days, Im able to go in and shop without giving up my Constitutional freedom aka ChinaVirus BS.

Employee at the register and several customers were not wearing masks, totally irresponsible to not be enforcing the state mask mandate in 2021

Wow what a joke I walked in there to buy a mask and noticed they asking for bills no greater than $10 definitely not a customer oriented store last time Ill ever go there lol

Prices are fair but CHECK EXPIRATION DATES! Also some staff members cant read. I tried to bring an item back that said it could be returned at any Family Dollar store for refund (with receipt) or exchange. The clerk could not understand the sentence and insisted it said I needed the receipt. I explained that the reason the parentheses were where they were was because it meant I could only get a REFUND if I had the receipt. He got indignant when I asked him if he had a problem with grammar - which he obviously did - and another clerk said I was insulting his spelling and grammar. When I said I had not questioned his SPELLING, she said that she thought Spelling and Grammar were the same thing. Then they both insisted that an exchange could only be made by the store manager, who was not available. I was shown NO signs that said, Exchanges Only with Store Manager permission. The clerk also asked me the store managers name and I said, Just give me names of women who work in the store and I can probably remember. He gave me 3 names and I picked the correct one. He then said it didnt matter - he still wouldnt give me the exchange. Just playing insulting games with customers!! When I asked him why he asked me for the managers name, he said he just wanted to see if I could guess it. WTH??

Very polite courteous staff. Usually very well organized. Much better than dollar general my biggest complaint is the pricing. Much higher than dollar general.

Worker Kristen is extremely rude at the cash register. Find another job if youre that miserable.

This is the greatest family dollar fo hundreds of miles.I come here every day .the staff are polite and knowledgeable

Made to be convenient and a small Superstore. Knowledgeable friendly staff

I went when they first opened with my two little kids. Upon check out with a lot of items, my delayed son played with the cc machine. I apologized to the cashier and she disgustingly said no kids act like that. He was only pushing buttons.I left my items, called the manager, and never got a return call. Years later I went back and well there are no bathrooms for your kids. Never again.
