Jared was awesome I bought a Civic EX Hatchback blue.....he explained all the options and was courteous and thorough. This dealership was the ONLY one that got back to me over texts and phone with actual numbers before I took the hour long drive out. This was my first visit. Came back to Streator and my husband and I went back. Had to make sure on the leg room, a lot of leg room. I spotted a vehicle to try out and ended up getting it. One of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. From the Sales person Peter Gallo to finance they were outstanding. They also had the best price compared to the other dealers around. Very friendly and not pushy at all. I was so happy with them I purchased two vehicles within a few months of each other. We would never purchase a car from this dealership again! They were not honest in disclosing information about our car leaving us with NO warranty that they promised! Thankfully our local dealership was helpful in helping us RETURN the car!
They sold me a “Certified Pre-owned” Ford Fusion. The car had 59,000 miles and they didn’t do the 60,000 miles service, the front right tire needed to be replaced within 3 weeks of buying, the driver side seatbelt was broken and had to get replaced thank god that’s warranted, the brakes were at 2mm when I got the tire and seat belt fixed 1 MONTH IN TO OWNING THE CAR. They are fraudulent at this dealer and they definitely pressure you to buy the car despite you giving them certain expectations.
Bought a used Pilot at a Honda dealer in Elmhurst, they were completely indifferent to my MAJOR issues with the car 3 weeks later, unhelpful, slow, unresponsive via website email and surprisingly more expensive for replacement keys that were quoted at both facilities. Bill Walsh Honda employees were kind, courteus and they fixed my problems quick and cheap. I was amazed and will be a loyal customer from now on! Make the long drive from Elmhurst all the way to Ottawa, it was worth it 100%Im going to remove my Elmhurst Honda license plate frames and get some Bill Walsh ones!

This place sells Canadian used vehicles. Which is ok until you are lied to about the remaining factory warranty. I fell victim to their dishonesty. Bought a car with 17k miles that had a voided factory warranty. Outright dishonesty. They did take the car back and provided a refund, however these guys are a sneaky and slimy operation.

Ive dealt with dealerships in the past and theres a reason I drive 30 minutes every time I need an oil change or service (which isnt often). They are an honest company and I have always been pleased with the service theyve provided. They even installed a part I purchased on my own at no charge because they felt theyd missed it needing to be replaced in a previous visit, and they had suggested I purchase it from a 3rd party seller as the Honda part was priced astronomically. I will continue to go to Bill Walsh for all my service needs, and when the time comes, purchase a new vehicle from them as well.
Best car buy experience I ever had. I drove from Chicago all the way to Ottawa to purchase my Pilot. I was at 3 different Honda dealers before finding Bill Walsh and all three were horrible!!!! I had the pleasure to deal with Salesman Jarrod, Manager Jason and Finance Jason. All 3 guys were so laid back and easy to deal with. Best price and best dealership. I just wish this dealership was closer to my house for service (70 mile away). Still well worth the drive. Will be a life long Bill Wash customer because of this experience.

Size is perfect and it handles extremely well on the highway as well as in town in all kinds of weather.Ive had a long history owning Hondas and doing business with Bill Walsh Honda. They have an amazing team that provides a great customer service experience. To me that experience on top of a really great vehicle, it just doesnt get much better than that.

I personally would not purchase a car from them. Good place to test drive though. I bought my car from Honda of Joliet for thousands less and they offered a much better price for my trade in. The funniest part was my car was in a body shop recently for a new bumper and had to go to this dealer for an air conditioning recharge and its funny how when I picked it up it had bill Walsh advertisements around my plates in place of the ones from where I got a better deal in the first place.
I went to go get keys cut for a Honda and was told that their key cutting machine was down for weeks. They had a contracted key cutter on site, by chance, and he couldnt cut the keys because the dealership and the contractor didnt have keys in stock.If this is the case for just getting keys cut my question is: What kind of service can they offer with their cars?

Dont trust the service department or their mechanics. Took my mothers 2017 CRV in because it was acting strange. They said the car had a bad turbo and would cost $2,500 to replace. Took the car for a second opinion to another Honda dealer and it turned out the car just needed a software update for a known issue and the car was fine, didnt have to pay a dime. That dealer literally laughed at how inept Bill Walsh Honda is that they couldnt do the most basic troubleshooting step. How could they so wildly misdiagnose an issue, what a joke of service department! They also never pick up the phone when you call. Dont take your car for service here unless you want to pay to fix an issue that you dont have

I bought a car from these people and would advise you not to. I purchased my car in may its now the end of November still waiting on my key fob. Written an email to the manager shannon with no response. Had to bring the car back for all of the sand that came with my car. Their response sorry must have missed that, not them but whom ever they have clean the cars. My inside door tracks are rusty and there was talk of replacing them, we have to check on that, well just as the fob, still waiting. They are a joke worst decision I ever made. Go somewhere else. There are better places.
Called the service manger to get my AC recharged in 2017 Honda Civic and they made an appointment for me at 3:30 pm on Tuesday 4/16/2019. Service manger Said the recharge would only take 20 min for the recharge. I called due to traffic I was running 5 min late and asked if they would still be able to service my AC SYSTEM. Lady at the desk said yes no problem bring it in. I arrive 5 min late after it took 15 min at the service desk to get paper to mechanic, I was told without even checking the car it would take an hour. They said we cannot do this today with 45 min left till close. Why they didn’t tell me to reschedule this when I called??? Even if I would have been on time at 3:30 it still would have taken the desk lady 15 min to print paper work and 5 min for the guy to walk it out to the mechanic on the floor. I will never go back to this place again, full of miss information on services and poor scheduling of appointments for work that needed to be done on my car. The service manger didn’t offer any discount just said sorry i didn’t know this would take an hour and we can’t do it today you will have to reachedule. Bill Walsh is a joke for customer service.

When we arrived the car we came to see had been sold the week prior and they tried to talk us into something more expensive. A classic bait-and-switch. These people are nothing more than stereotypical slimey used car dealers. Thanks for wasting hours of our time. Buyers beware!

Viewed a used SUV posted on their website I was interested in for my daughter on Saturday Feb 16th morning and sent a note via email, received a call & email almost immediately from Wendy Goss, Sales Customer Care. After a conversation on the vehicle interested in we set up an appointment for Monday, Feb 18 at 5:30. Asked Wendy for the commute time from Bloomington to Ottawa & she confirmed about a 1 1/2 drive. Wendy called and we confirmed the appt at 1:00 pm on Monday, Feb 18 is with Manager Mark Buehl.My wife and I both take an hour of vacation from work as we have a drive to make the appointment on time. When we get to the dealership to test drive the vehicle we are informed it was sold. Classic bait and switch which is documented in other reviews (my bad in not reviewing these reviews prior to the drive).This may be a fine place to buy a vehicle if you live in Ottawa, Illinois but if you have any type of drive I urge you not to waste your time.Assume I’ll receive a half hearted excuse/explanation/apology from VP Bill Walsh Jr. But this is obviously a systemic problem with this auto group and these systemic problems don’t occur without executive knowledge and support. VP Bill and the other owners are part of the problem not the solution.Lots of options to purchase vehicles this days, for your own good, find one other than Bill Walsh Auto.

Don’t waste your time. On Black Friday I went to the dealership based on their website saying they had 2 Pilot elites on sale. They didn’t have one on the lot. Since I was there and I was a customer for the last 8 years I decided to talk about making a deal anyway. They made me a lowball offer. When I countered their offer they refused to negotiate. Mind you I was the only person in the dealership and was a repeat customer. I left and Saturday I made a deal with Honda in Joliet and saved 5000 dollars from their lowball offer. So long Honda of Ottawa I am done with you and recommend that you shop elsewhere if you want to save money on your car deal. The service department is subpar as well.
