If I could leave ZERO stars Id do that!What an absolute joke. Dont waste your time, go to the store in Peru! We needed a Sim card. You cant just say, we dont use Sim cards anymore. Well thats great, some of us havent upgraded phones and still need a Sim card to use them. No offer to find one, get one, or mail one to our home, nothing just, we dont have any anyway.

We were genuinely pleased with the technical support and knowledge shown by the VERIZON representative. She answered all questions at an easily understood level, polite, courteous and straightforward in her approach, she exhibited patience and understanding of our concerns. She went above and beyond in seeking the best plan for us and saved money for us. Thank you, Dakota, for all your help. Appreciated immensely!

It was a pleasure working with Sarah in purchasing a new phone. I had a difficult issue which she was able to address very favorably. She was lovely, professional and willing to answer all my questions with patience. She gave great advise but did not try to oversell. Best of all she worked to give me the best deal. I haven’t had a better customer service rep in years.

I came to Verizon for a phone for my wife and myself. I was promptly helped by Ashley. She was the most patient, kind, pleasant Verizon associate that I could have possibly have gotten to help me. She made me feel like I was family and that I was the only one in the store that needed help,(Which the store was very busy at the time). Because of Ashley, I am exceeding happy that I came to Verizon. I believe that I will be with Verizon for a long time. As least as long as Ashley is there.

I decided to make the switch from ATT to Verizon today. I had the best experience with an employee named Dakota. She kept it simple but still disclosed everything. Most sales people start with a low number to turn the client into a buyer and add a fee here and a fee there and the number grows. Dakota started with a number that included everything on the high side. I had only 2 lines with ATT with 2 iPhone X’s… I switched to 2 lines, 2 iPhone 12’s, a new Apple Watch, and unlimited everything for $30 less! I never felt I was being sold or taken through a script. It was black and white. So refreshing. I am excited to be a new Verizon customer with Dakota serving my family’s account.

After being treated poorly in our streator store today we decided to go to the Ottawa store to upgrade our phones. Sarah was amazing as well as the other staff there working!! She helped my husband and I pick the best deal for us, and gave us a lot of information on the phones! If your looking for a new phone I definitely recommend going to her!!

My experience wasn’t so nice upon opting into service my identity had to be proved because in 2013 someone took an account out in my name and in 2020 again they tried or started an account in my name. Now I’ve gone in five times to see where my 250 in gift cards were and they tell me In store that if I didn’t claim my cards within 48 hrs I can’t get them yet they didn’t tell me about how to retrieve the cards in the first place they said I would get an email which I didn’t and the person hose who opened the account is never there and according to all associates there’s no manager there to speak too so hopefully the owner will do the right thing.

Ashley at the Ottawa, IL location was without a doubt the best experience I’ve ever had with a Verizon employee in person or on the phone.Exceptional customer service often goes unnoticed and her knowledge and skill set deserves a shout out. Tremendous experience during a stressful moment after damaging my phone.

I called twice and went into the store twice regarding iPads they had in stock. First visit they straight up tried selling me the top offer most expensive. So not to waste their time I left to call around and do research. I found out they offer a less expensive one at other locations so when I called and asked them if they had it in stock they said yes! Just to come in and we could get it set up. As I waited due to them being busy they informed me they didn’t have it in stock that it’s pre order and again tried selling me the most expensive. They did what they try to do best and scam people to come up to the store just to up sell on the spot. I will go out of my way to visit other stores. They lied about it being in stock. Had they gave me the right info on what I was asking instead of tricking me into wasting my time, I might have made the purchase with them. But all in all they could have been honest from the start.

Stopped in to get my nephews phone fixed. Ended up getting mine upgraded. The staff is extremely courteous and succinct, while being completely transparent and reassuring. While the process was fast Chefton was able to explain each transaction thoroughly and was able to provide me suggestions for which phone I should get based on my use case, and suggested supporting accessories appropriately by my preference.TlDR; Chefton is the man, set me up quickly and got me in a new phone, while being able to explain everything. Will be back for anything else phone related.

David and Ashely were great, their customer service was on point and it even though it was a long experience waiting on hold and so on... they made it very enjoyable, basically I’m saying that they did their job and they didn’t well!!! two people I would definitely keep around! Very knowledgeable employees, they made things clear and I never once heard “I don’t know”! I drive to Ottawa verses dealing with Peru’s location, think that says it all. Peru is horrible!

I went to this place today after getting treated like a door mat at Russell Cellular in Streator. I was treated like a customer should be treated. I felt comfortable and asked the questions I needed to ask and didn’t feel like I wasn’t needed as a customer. This is definitely the place to go if you have questions or you are unsure what to buy! They are very helpful and an overall a great place to shop for your new cellular device. I was very thankful to walk in and immediately be treated with respect. I will be returning in the future with my business. It was definitely worth the 20 minute drive. Thank you TCC for a great experience!!

Jose let me know that he was too busy to check and that I could use my gas to drive there to do my own research on their inventory. He seems like a very customer-driven type of person.I then called back and got David, which informed me they do not have that phone case in their inventory. I live in Streator Illinois and have been in the Verizon store here three different trying’s trying to get help. Sadly they were not friendly at all actually rude. So I had a friend drive me to Ottawa and Ashley was wonderful. I’m a senior citizen and she was so patient and helpful and I signed right up with Verizon. I was struggling with switching over from IV Cellular to Verizon and she walked me right through it. Thank you Ashley. Just too bad I have to drive to another town to get the help I needed.❤️

I went to the Ottawa store because my phones were restricted. He said nothing wrong with your account, your phones are just old. So hooked me up with 2 new phones. I went home. Thought about the money difference and it did not add up. Went to my local Peru store to get explanation. They told me I did have an issue with my plan NOT MY PHONES! UGH! Now Im stuck with new phones and a much larger bill. Dont go to Ottawa!

I stopped at this location after going to another Verizon store. Dave helped me with my purchase to replace my jet pack. He was great! Very helpful. The store had several customers, however they also had several employees. I didn’t have to wait at all for help. I would definitely choose this location in Ottawa.

I rarely get mediocre customer service. On Friday Jan. 18, I was blessed to have Megan as my go to person. First contact was by phone, she was so pleasant and patient and clearly explained how I should go about purchasing a new phone. When I received phone with no problems I went into the store for purchasing accessories and transferring of data. That was even more pleasant then the phone call. She is an asset to your company for her extraordinary customer service.

Auto signed me up for things I didnt ask for, seemed offended when I asked for a phone under $500. Tried to pretend they didnt even have a phone till I said the peru store had it. After strongly pushing a trade in said I had to buy more stuff to use the money I got for a trade in. I had 83 cents left over.... i HAD to spend 4 more, her words. Never had a problem with the store before but will not be going back.
