Visited this location on August 4th looking for a cookie cake for my soon-to-be 9 year-old. The young lady who helped us was named Alexis and she was very polite. My daughter wanted Alexis to draw a rose on the cake but she was honest and said she wasn’t able to do that. However, she saw how much my daughter wanted a rose so she offered another solution. Thank You so much for going the extra mile. ☺️

Masks are required and if you enter without one, you will be turned around or offered one at the door. Due to capacity, masks are not optional here. The store is clean and well managed.

Nice layout. A cut above most Walmarts.They also have smaller sized shopping carts!

Well first off I will not ever shop at night again as no checkouts were open only self check outs! Im a customer I do not work for you therefore if you cannot have employees checking people out at night then why be open. Employees standing around doing nothing yet you want me to spend money then check my own stuff out! You are absolutely out of your mind!

I’d rather drive to target to get a drive up order vs waiting for Walmart to reserve a time for me. Walmart take notes from targets drive up

Pharmacy department is very quick and courteous. Love the texts when your prescription is ready.

The shelves are never stocked and the store is a mess. The baby aisle was littered with boxes and I couldnt even fit my cart let alone myself down the aisle. There is no food ever stocked in the food section so I can never shop for what I come for. Employees just stand in your way trying to hide that they are on thier phones from management and dont move. Theres always pallets or pickup people in the way everywhere you turn. The store has gone down so much and im considering not coming back.

Love the selection but every visit Ive made to this Walmart supercenter the employees are very rude and impolite. Not happy with the service

Young lady who came first had been given the wrong order..she apologized n went to get my correct order. When she came with correct order again was so apologetic..after loading them asked if she could do anything else for me. She was amazing..wish I had gotten her name. Shes a credit to this store..treat her well!!! Stars are for her

Never stocked & shel es are always a mess been shopping here 8 years due to living in rural community & shape of store & inventory is NOT due to COVID, wld need to travel 25 miles to another Walmart which I do alot

Traveled out of my way to the Ottawa location in search of uniform items I needed that were listed as ONLY available at this location. The area in the store where the uniforms were located was a disaster with most tops on the floor. So I asked an associate for assistance as I couldn’t find the items I was looking for in the pile on the floor. I showed her the online inventory claiming the specific item and color I was looking for was in stock at this specific location. She shrugged and said whatever was out was what was available without even looking in the direction of the pile of clothes on the floor. I went through the pile a second time and gave up. Non-existent customer service along with piles of clothing on the floor and incorrect inventory information are unacceptable.

I hate the fact that Walmart is going to turn into all self check!! Why should we people be expected to check and bag ourselves out? Its ridiculous! I have been a lifetime shopper of Walmart, I guess that doesnt mean anything to you! You say itll save money. How, by taking some of the workers jobs away from them...get real!! Also, I feel that some of the workers are depressed because your store is really starting to look messy like a second hand shop...signed a very unhappy and disappointed customer

Is one of the nicest and cleanest Walmarts and I like the portal parties outside the store and the staff on license but the the online pickup could be better they make a a few mistakes with my parents orders

I think the workers in the department should specialize in that department and get familiar with finding items online. I found an item online went to the store asked the gentleman to point me in the right direction he immediately said they didnt carry the item I had to pull it up in my phone on the Walmart app where it clearly says item available in store. I really just think he didnt want to help me because his shift was about to end soon 🤷🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

Out of half of the stuff I was looking for and no registers open. Asked customer service if they were going to open up a registers and she said cant you see Im trying to get someone up here...rude. Done with that place, should be 0 stars.

Need to train the shoppers how to shop for the grocery pickup. Tomatoes i got i was all mold. They out 1 item in 1 bag and then make another bag about 20lbs.And they need to be trained on substitutes what is comparable

Less Busy than Perus, but still has stock issues. It seems like each Walmart has trouble keeping things in stock. Im pretty sure its the manufacturers and suppliers where the problem starts, but it can be frustrating. Ive been searching for a specific printer for weeks now and I dont have any faith Ill be able to find it anytime soon.

The service there has gotten HORRIBLEThey have ONLY self check out lanes open, and you can ONLY use a card at them! Then theres ONLY 2 lanes open where someones actually checking ppl out....... The customer service of the employees who sit there is unbelievably terrible! I live in Ottawa, but you can bet Ill drive another 25 minutes to a different Wal-Mart from now on!!

They have Bottle necked all the entrances so all the sick people have to go thru the same Door might as well ask the people with covid to lick the cart handles on their way in.

Awesome Experience! Its so easy to order on line, pick a time and have everything put i the back of our truck. Efficient, convenient and very nice people. Social distancing, but still say hi and thankyou. Ill be doing my shopping this way for a long...long time!

I shop here often, had one or two bad experiences with the staff not really wanting to help me locate items and telling me that it is out of stock took me longer than it should have but I ended up locating what I was looking for in the end even tho it was out of stock

Horrible experience. Twice, different TVs were ordered online, then out of stock when I arrived for pickup, third TV was defective. Return was easy but customer service regarding the out of stock tvs was horrible. Associate was not compassionate or helpful and did nothing to make me a happy customer. Do not recommend.

Fail to enforce the mask mandate thats still in effect in Illinois, if these people cant follow state guidelines, ask them to stay home and shop online or not allow them to come on the premises, if Im respecting peoples safety so should others, plenty of times Ive gone in there in the past 2 or 3 weeks seeing a few people not wearing them, those who wear them outweigh those who dont because we are concerned about the public safety of others...otherwise store staff seems polite, friendly and helpful

Still the best place in the area for most needs but rearranging everything in the store makes shopping take longer and frustrating when you have to retrace your steps to find what youre looking for.

Typical walmart, never any checkouts open, Im not getting paid to check myself out, and always seem to be out of stock of popular items or grocery items.

They take an hour or longer to exchange propane. More times than not. This is when they finally showed up after calling, when we waited 30 minutes.

Very few cashiers. If you dont have time to spare, then self checkout is your only hope. Store managers are ill trained and poorly equipped for consumer interactions. I have had enough bad experiences to mark this store off limits. Many other valuable businesses would be happy to have the business.

Get some check out people. The richest owners in the world and cant afford to pay for 3 open lanes.

Disorganized..too big.lines too long..I was stopped at exit to show receipt for my $300 cart full, to make sure I paid for $3.00 bag of litter on bottom of cart,when I had 12 bags in cart!! Very offended! Thats not the way to thank customers for shopping t here!! Never go there again!!

Very friendly staff, but it takes a while for someone to get to the jewelry counter, if you want something.

This was Friday morning, 11:00am and they had only two manned check-out lanes open. There were customers lined up 10 deep. We all know what the strategy is, lets make the do it themselves, it saves so much money for us, the Walmart family. Shame on you.

The Ottawa Walmart is a great place to shop. Much better than the Morris Walmart with a much larger selection and friendlier staff.

This Walmart has, since its opened, been consistently the cleanest, well stocked store Ive been in. I live in a town further east but when Im in the ottawa area, I always do my Walmart shopping here. Oh, and another thing, this one has a wider variety of food than any in about 60 miles or more.

Its pretty clean for a walmart. The washroom actually had warm water when you wash your hands and the bathroom is clean. And it has a good grocery section. The clothing section sucks though.

I was able to find what I needed to purchased at the time.

Dad asked how deaf people do pick up when they cant call or hear and a worker there said call the number and dont know what deaf mean so taking my business else where done with that place after being rude to deaf people
