Was here yesterday (Saturday) and Google maps says they were supposed to be open until 7pm. I got there at 6:10pm and the door wouldnt open. There were employees inside but they ignored the door. They also ignored the phone when I called. Apparently putting a sign on the door saying temporary business hours with the hours is good enough. Well it IS NOT. It is common sense that people want to know if a business is open or closed before getting there. But also apparently the management is incompetent and doesnt realize that. Stellar customer service.. NOT. Kind of shifty that myself and 3 other vehicles were in the parking lot trying to figure out what the issue was and we all got ignored. One woman was walking up to the door as I was backing out my vehicle. I rolled down my window and told her not to even bother. Figure it out.. not hard to update hours on Google maps.. Id do it for you but I think the management can get the hint from this note and Do. It. Themselves. like they should have to begin with.
I go here to pay my bill. Everytime i come here im treated extremely well. The people are very knowledgeable abd can answer any questions you have. Never have i had to wait more than a couple minutes.

By far a great upgrade from old company. Pay for service and quality. Will admit that yes the in store service may get long but well worth the wait as long as the problem gets solved. Great service all over, I travel all over SE Iowa, as well as Des Moines, Iowa City, etc. for work personal phone and company phone both get service perfectly.
I got the new lg k40 from the store in ottumwa and it freezes all the time since i got it and it hasnt been dropped at all the back finger print button dont want to work sometimes and the side button for the power sometimes wont even work and keep in mind its only like 2 or 3 months old and has NOT. Been dropped

The data plans are terrible. AT&T is better than this. Dont go to us cellular... just get a straight talk phone for half the price, and better service.

No one greeted me when I walked in the door. I have never been in this store and the place was packed with like 20 people and I sat down and waites 15 minutes and no one told me to sign in at the front. Now I have been here for a half and hour and still no customer service.

The worst and most rude place Ive ever been to in Ottumwa. Absolutely no one greeted me when i walked in the door. One associate near the door told another associate he needed to greet customers when they come in. He said hello and kept walking. No can i help you or Ill be with you in a moment or anything. Another customer walks in 10 mins later, and out of nowhere a lady walks right up to him greets him and takes him to her work station and helps him with his bill. All i wanted to do was pay my bill too. Switching back asap. Somebody fix it please!

I am currently sitting and waiting for the next available sales representative. I have been here 5 times in the last few months and each time my wait is at least 1.5 hours. Going to this particular USCellular is becoming an ALL DAY affair. As I sit here, I am listening to the 3 (out of a maximum capacity of 9) sales representatives chit chatting and making small talk with the customers they are helping. If there is that much down time while they are being helped, USCellular needs to invest in new computer systems that are faster. On the rare occasion that they fix the issues that lead to me coming in, it is full of small talk and time wasting as their System slows down the process. I am beginning to think they are passing the blame for slow moving employees. It should not take 2.5 hours total to get a new phone on a Monday at 1 PM. You begin the process by checking in with two receptionists whose only job is to write down your name on a waiting list. Does that take 2 people? Could one of them be trained to help customers? It would be impossible to come here and get anything done over your lunch hour. If you have the opportunity to go to any other USCellular store - please do! Save yourselves before you waste an entire afternoon sitting in a crowd of other frustrated people waiting for your name to be called.***Update - We are now working with a sales associate to fix our issue. At first, she wanted to send us out the door with a to-do list of how to fix the issue ourself. We persuaded her to help us now because we have waited in line for 1.5 hours. She has been very rude to us. We are not pleased. Going on 3 hours. The employees here keep mysteriously going back to the room and staying there for up to 10 minutes. They come back out and sit down like nothing happened. What happens back there? Shop here at your own risk.

Want to waste your time rotting away at a place worse than the DMV? Head on down to Ottumwas US Cellular. Atrocious wait times for not very good customer service. Im not sure if its a lack of staff or just neglect to customers, but regardless, dont waste your time here.

After waiting 30 minutes in line, and being told I was first in line, with nobody behind me at first, I never got waited on. Two people came in after me and got helped, and left, and I was still waiting. Lisa, Tiffany, and Kristen werent there but they are amazing workers. Maybe theyre the only ones who know how to run the store.
