Such a plethora of materials! As an artist out looking for assorted supplies I was very satisfied!!

I was very excited to check out this place based on some recommendations. Drove there very excited. My mother hadn’t put her mask yet and within two minutes a store employee RUNS to ask her if she has one. Almost as if her job is to chase people who don’t have them. My mom didn’t understand the question correctly so said yes. Then she asked again: do you have a mask? My mother said: yes. Employee says: well can you out it on NOW? Like my mom is a naughty toddler. Get out man. People with health issues are exempt. It’s dumbfounding how people fall for this trap and are so ignorant. We both left and I will in no way return ever. 1/10 does not recommend.

Came in today to pick up a birthday present for my little nephew who is turning 4. We were looking for inflatables and found a plethora of options in a well organized and properly labeled aisle. We went to check out and our cashier helped us locate the primary item we wanted- she even went and got it off the display! I would say more attention could be put into the bathrooms. Not the cleanest. But great customer service

US Toy is a great place for teachers to spend (all) our money on classroom materials and supplies. :) Theres a great selection to choose from.

This shop is full of everything from crafting to party needs, to costumes and even an old Zoltar. I love this place. The magic shop is great and the staff are friendly and will instantly get to know you like best friends. I buy cards here every as Im a card collector and magician, and this shop has everything you could want to break into magic yourself if you so desired. Great shop, great staff. Leatha and Jell E Bean are both great and make for awesome conversation.

This place is unlike any other toy store Ive been in. It has great supplies for teachers but it has so much more than that! Need bulk gift bag trinkets/stocking stuffers? Need party supplies? Need a kids costume or science toy? They have it all & their prices are really affordable. I can easily spend an hour in this place and not get bored. So many fun things to see.

The magic shop was awesome!!! They have a HUGE variety of tricks, (from beginner tricks to professional) The woman that helped us was extremely nice, she showed me all the tricks that I wanted to see. She even let me play around with a couple tricks so that I knew what I was buying... If you are looking for a good magic shop that has the newest tricks, this is this place to go!

A remarkably good party store. It is exceptionally large, has friendly employees and an unmatched inventory of anything you would want for a childs part. It is also connected to a magic / costume store and a store balloon bounce and maze. A fun place to visit and definitely the best place to get party supplies.

US Toy has rarely found vintage games and toys that are hard to find. Im a play therapist and I am always looking for different ways to interact with my clients. US Toy harbors a wealth of rare toy treasures in every isle.

US Toy has teachers supplies, party supplies (including decorations and favors), games, puzzles, and toys. I was disappointed to learn they no longer have their bulk bins, but there is still a large, mostly well-organized selection. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and available. The store is clean and neat. I didnt find what I was looking for on this trip - but I did buy some things I wasnt looking for!

Best place for halloween hands down

This place is awesome! I came here because its one of the only places in town that stocks professional quality special effects makeup, but didnt realize how huge this place was! They have a huge area of learning materials for teachers and parents, tons of good quality toys, costumes, all manners of party supplies, everything you could need to run a carnival, as well as a large section of magic supplies and books.Its well worth the trip!

Great place to explore with kids or if you need things for costumes or maybe company grab bags or other fun stuff. Staff is fantastic and knowledgeable and FUN!HIGHLY recommended to check out, for nothing else than to know what youll need for those events you dont plan for.

It is an excellent resource for teachers supplies, educational toys and costumes. It now offers an expanded party supply section but unfortunately, the toy section had been reduced and relegated to the back of the store. You can still find all of their toys online.

Great place for childrens gifts, costumes, party favors, party accessories and educational tools and toys. Huge assortment of items. They even blow up balloons. You should go at least once just to see it.

Used to work here a while ago. But for a short time. I was always surprised at how big of an inventory they have. Is GREAT for if you’re hosting carnivals/ block parties/ or a big get together with prizes for kids. They have a wide array of toys for kids. A lot would be great for a birthday and some would be good for the BIG birthday present. If you can’t find it their- There’s a magic shop inside that might have what you want. And if it STILL isn’t there- They can point you in the direction to the closest place that’ll have it.

For almost 20 years, this has always been one of my favorite places in the world. Now, Im so excited to see them in this bigger brighter location, with all the new things they offer. Im especially excited they kept the magic and costume shop, its truly a unique and super creative / fun place to shop. Im so happy I can share the experience with my kids now too. Ustoy has a year round costume shop. Everything from adult costumes to wigs, Accessories, makeup and kids costumes. They have it all! Prices and customer service surpasses anyone in the area. And they are open year round! Best selection in Kansas City. Highly recommend ;)

A whole bunch of useless plastic toys from China. As your kids get older, their joy is diminished with each visit to U.S. Toy. If you need a plastic kazoo for 30 people that wont actually make any noise, this is your store. Has some good educational items for school teachers and a decent selection of Playmobil. Any toy that is not a recognized name brand should be avoided if at all possible.

Probably the best place in the Kansas City area to find a unique toy, U.S.Toy is even more prepared to help the teacher find what they need for the classroom. They also have a very large selection of party supplies, decorations, and other decor to change the way a room looks.

I have always been interested to step into this shop, but I did for the first time a couple of days ago. And boy do they have the best and widest selection of small toys, trinkets, novelty gifts, costumes, games, teachers resources, and basically all the things that you might be interested to have at a party.

There were toy stores when I grew up, not just Walmart. They have all kinds of cool toys, games, novelties, and educational products. They even have a magic castle in the back. Its a warehouse, so it can be a bit offputting at first, but if youre a parent or a teacher, you need to check it out. BTW, teachers get a discount!!!!!

This store has been flooded several times in the last few months and it smells like mold. My son, who is asthmatic, couldnt stop coughing. I hate to think what working in this environment is doing to the employees.The products sold are mostly cheap imports and there is little selection.

If you are a teacher looking for supplies in bulk, this may be your best bet. As a parent or grandparent, however, shop Walmart first for any toy items, as I have found them to have lower prices than US Toys clearance prices on many items. Thomas the Train sets and toys are priced more than double Walmarts prices and clearance prices range just above the regular price being charged at Walmart.

Unless you are a teacher this place is kinda pointless. Each year it has less and less in terms of interesting toys or decorations, even costumes are lacking now. Party City will suffice, this isnt worth the trip any more.

If you have kids take them here. A cavernous, warehouse filled with toys, magic, makeup and costumes. Service has always been good and the staff friendly.

The store is clean and the staff is great and the store has a very wide range of items from everything a teacher would need to set up their room to making a boys or girls room look cool and also a large selection of birthday sets and supplies of many characters. There is a section for toys from legos, Barbie, infant toys,puppets, puzzles, star wars, bath toys, kitchen toys and lots of board games and there is also a large amazing magic shop filled with every magic trick you can think of and a lot of costumes. The guy in the magic shop with the crazy hair is very very nice and is a really good magician that will demonstrate the tricks that arw in the shop available to buy.The only thing about U.S. Toy that is negative is that aside from the magic shop (I have nothing to compare it to) the prices are really really high all the toys are priced way higher than say Target or Wal-Mart and you can for sure find better deals online so if your looking for a deal look somewhere else. Now when it comes to the little birthday and carnival giveaway toys, stuffed animals and all the themed stuff Im really not sure how high the pricing is but while I have been there shopping every year around Christmas for little stocking stuffers I always look online for the item Im looking at and I always find it cheaper but when it comes to shipping it to me it is a wash. In conclusion it is a neat store and fun to go to especially the magic shop so if you dont mind spending a little extra cash on the same items you can get cheaper down the road it would be worth checking out.

The costume dept can not be beat. For Halloween and Mardi Gras. Year round large selection of unusual false lashes and awesome hosiery at low, low, prices. Ive gone here since I was a child, but now that Im an adult, and active in Mardi Gras, not a season goes by that I dont make a couple of stops for beads, custom makeup, and goody bag treats.

Its really not all that its hyped up to be when it comes to cosplay supplies. Customer service is definitely lacking as well.
