Tammy in the cosmetics department was phenomenal! Not only did she help me figure out which scent of perfume and/or body spray was best suitable for gifts to my children, my husband, and for myself (gift to myself hehe). But she went above and beyond to assist me in finding products that I would not have otherwise considered and turned out to be perfect! Her knowledge matches that of her brilliant personality.... To say the very least she is an extreme assets to Walgreens!

Wayne went out of his way to personally show me the items I needed to find. Great personality, demeanor, product knowledge, and willingness to make it a great experience. This is hard to find these days. Walgreens has a good one here.

Worst pharmacy customer service. I had a prescription pending while I was visiting Overland Park. After the 4 days of the prescription still pending I called. The pharmacist told me that there is not prescription pending any more and could not give me any information. I told her that I still need to get the prescription filled in my home town, so I was wondering why it was pending and now its not. She said Why does it matter if I am not filling the prescription for you. I said Because I will need to call the Walgreens in my home town to explain what is going on. She then stated that it was not there problem and what was she was supposed to do about it.The whole experience was mind boggling. The need to teach who ever answers the phone to be help full. Thats what they are getting paid to do.

Got a covid test here and was supposed to receive results by email within 24 hours. I never did so I called and the woman who answered the phone in the pharmacy was extremely rude, gave me my results and said if I wanted a print out to come and get it. Apparently their computer was down yesterday? Generally, an apology goes a long way…not sure why I was met with such attitude and rudeness.

The best pharmacy I’ve ever used! The management (Caleb is the current pharmacy manager) has hired employees who not only care, but are knowledgeable, helpful, accessible and friendly despite working through the pandemic. It has been my experience EVERY TIME that when I call the pharmacy because I need to talk to somebody live, I’m NEVER on hold for more than a couple minutes. They have a drive-through and are very efficient about keeping the line moving. It’s close to my home, but even if I moved much further away I would go out of my way to get the excellent service and expertise provided by this Walgreen’s and the great pharmacy team from top to bottom.

Closed between 130-2. Makes sense. People can wait 30 minutes or more for medicine they might need. Good call, Walgreens.

I placed an online photo order through this location, and about 20 minutes later received confirmation that it was ready for pickup. Upon arriving for pickup, I was notified that their printer is down and they cant help me. They gave no estimated timeframe for when it will be fixed, and offered no alternative solution or escalation process aside from waiting an undetermined period of time for their equipment to be fixed.

Was trying to talk to the pharmacist about cold/allergy medicine and her suggestion based on allergy symptoms, and all she did was ignore my questions. She acted like she was in a hurry, I was the only person in line. I asked if I could get two boxes of Sudafed allergy meds because they only contained 8 pills and I don’t I didn’t want to have to come back in a week and she got angry with me and said that I’m trying to make meth. The worst service I’ve ever had. If you can’t treat other people with kindness then no reason working in a job where it’s required to serve others. Will not be coming back to this Walgreens ever again.

We are on vacation and I forgot to pack my antidepressant. Stopped at Walgreens and the pharmacy was AMAZING! IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES they had connected to my home pharmacy and I was walking out with enough meds for the trip. That is AWESOME! This is why I use Walgreens!

I just had the most incredible drug store experience of my life. One of the professional helpers here just escorted me through the store and helped me find everything that I needed, with a smile! Her name is Kate. She read labels for me and helped me understand the different products and their uses. She is fantastic and this store will continue to earn my business

This is one of my favorite Walgreens locations. Everyone is always so nice. The store is always well stocked and clean. The pharmacy is amazingly helpful. The excelsior springs location is also amazing.

Staff is pretty great. Most know me. Never have any issues except sometimes they run out of my brand cigarettes but thats not their fault. So i gave them a 5

Just told I had something contagious and didn’t want to go in the store to expose anyone else to me but couldn’t even get a worker to go grab a box of pain relievers for me. Actually quite rude about it. Can’t see where a pharmacy is “breaking policy by getting people’s shopping done” is getting pain meds but okay!

The front end staff is very friendly and helpful! The pharmacy staff isnt as friendly sadly. I really enjoy the female pharmacist Fatemah though. Shes very helpful and always very nice. The male pharmacist and male technician however are rude and very unprofessional.

I was so excited when this Walgreens opened up years ago. I had a terrible experience at the CVS across the street had have not been back in over 10 years. The staff at this location are awesome. I have never had an issue with anyone in this store.

Always out of important asthma medication. Didnt even have one of my prescription eye drops. Every time I come here I only get part of what I need. They misplace my written prescriptions all the time. Its very frustrating!

If I could give no stars I would. This pharmacy NEVER has the prescriptions my children or I need. When I asked why I was told by a tech that I must have “exotic prescriptions” I didn’t know that drugs like antibiotics and pain meds were exotic. Then I was told today by Steve that the manufacturer didn’t have my sons medication for thrush so they couldn’t even order it in and that none of the other Walgreens had it or could order it either. I called the location on Black bob and 135th in Olathe and she said they had it. Makes no sense. I will never use this Walgreens for medications again. Rude employees, and nothing is ever in stock.

I was shocked by the rudeness of the old lady who took my passport photo. I didn’t like the first shot she took and politely requested a second shot, to which she flat out said with a serious face that “I’ll take one more photo and that’s it. It’s just a mugshot”. Obviously I took my business elsewhere.

This is the worst Walgreens pharmacy in town for many reasons. They are rude, typically don’t have all of my prescription so can only partially fill, also hours posted are until 9pm but I was just there at 8:10pm and no one was there.

They shorted my asthma medication- Do not trust them.Im a simple person and asthma flares every now and then. I had a prescription for albuterol inhalation solution in July. I pick it up and go on with my day. I rarely use it so Today i notice Im out (November) so I attempt to see if I have a refill only to notice the quantity actually says a significant amount far more than the one box i was given. Strange - I never noticed that. So I call and of course due to the fact it was in July and I trusted that I was given what the prescription says I am now just forced to waste more money and time. Its not fair - if I had access to their cameras Im sure this would be an easy fix. I always walk in and it will easily indicate I was handed in large box (not 2) I heard this occurs quite often with narcotic pain meds but we are talking about asthma medicine. Why? Short an entire box. The pharmacist did nothing except re state what I told him. Most people and companies should understand their employees make mistakes and even think that yes this could have been a mistake but no he didnt.I now seriously understand that the health care system in america is set up for financial gain- Im done using this pharmacy and Walgreens all together. Cannot be trusted. Do Not Trust Them! If you use them check your prescription and count your meds or youll be in the same situation as me.
