Edit: Decent selection of some of the biggest brands. Innova, Discraft, Trilogy mainly. There are also some affordable bags to look at. I would have liked to see some other big manufacturers such as MVP, Axiom, & Streamline. Streamline produces some of the most beautiful plastic (cosmic neutron & plasma) and at a very affordable price. I think those discs would sell REALLY well.

Furthermore, I thought Id try a couple to figure out which one was suitable. There is an employee who doesnt want you to touch any equipment at all. The same thing happened the second time. Its not a shop, but its a museum where you cant touch anything, and you MUST ask for assistance if you want to buy 1 stupid item. If you touch one, a person will stare the whole time and might even follow you. I prefer to buy at SCHEELS. I have a full home gym now!Guys, youre not selling jewelry (or high-value items) that needs high-security. Please buy some videocams if you are so worried. You rarely find value, but I did pick up a great golf soft case for $70.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this store, overpriced and very very rude employees and owner. Will not be returning to this location, just sorry this place brings down play it agains reputation as a family friendly shop.

I go here to purchase discs for disc golf. They have some pretty amazing used discs at great prices, as well as a great selection of new discs. Also if you play any other sports they most likely have what you are looking for.

Play It Again has great stuff for cheap prices. Its especially nice for sports like hockey or if you dont can about slightly used things.

I went to 5 different sports stores looking for a 15 pound kettle bell that I liked. Play it Again Sports knocked it out of the park. I not only have a kettle bell, I have a Chiefs Red Kettle bell with Mahomes number #15 on it. Its beautiful. Yes, I enjoy colorful workout equipment, makes it more fun. The guy working was more than helpful.

I am an online customer from Georgia who purchased a golf club online from this store. I happened to notice a bend in the shaft near the hosel of the club that unfortunately the pictures had not made noticeable. I emailed the store and the manager called me within minutes. He was very kind, courteous, and professional!I simply asked for a 50% refund of what I had paid for the club and he kindly agreed! I think he would’ve actually refunded more, had I asked but I felt this was fair since I’m capable of putting a new shaft in the club and have plenty of shafts on hand. I highly recommend this store and will continue to shop here.

Good place to buy used hockey gear. Went in there but they force you to wear a mask!! Sorry but that freaking mask doesn’t help slow the virus a bit!! It only makes things worse.

The man that helped us out today (I believe his name was Zane) was incredibly helpful in selecting baseball equipment for my son. He was honest, provided recommendations on everything from conditioning to equipment use. The best part, however, was how he continued to encourage my son and the importance of feeling good with the bat/glove you select. I really believe we left more knowledgeable and in a better place to start the season thanks to them! We will definitely be back!

They went through the necessities we will need and did not try to push any extra on us that werent needed at his level. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They denied me entry and service because of their mask requirement. I informed them that I have a mask exemption as allowed per the governors mandate. They said they didnt care and I needed to leave. I told the kid to go get his manager. He returned and said his manager was on a call and this issue wasnt important to him. So just so yall know customer service, customer issues, and complying with the law are not important to them. Dont shop here. Take your business elsewhere, they dont want it.

Well as for some of these reviews I understand the owners perspective as it’s a business they have to make money. If you want cash versus store credit obviously you are going to get less then if you want in store credit. If you want.... You can try to sell your equipment yourself and have it sit on a market place for weeks on end getting haggled just to keep getting false hope on a sale. Or bring it to PIAS and get it gone fast and come out happy with money and the fact somebody else will enjoy it.Anyways on to my reviewI have been coming to this store for a few years now to buy disc every time I come in from K-State. I have never been disappointed with Bob or any of his staff as they are all friendly. Some have talked about disc golf with me and how they are learning that some disc are collectible. To me this is the best place to get disc in the area. DD is nice but PIAS has won me over with consistent customer service and wide variety of new to used plastic.

I found the weights I was looking for and they had competitive prices. Not much customer service, though.

Used equipment is way overpriced along with terrible customer service. The owner is rude and hateful. He obviously has an insecurity issue as evidence by his argumentative interactions with customers who have more knowledge than he does about a sport. I think someone in his line of business would value their customers’ knowledge rather than be argumentative, especially when he is not a subject matter expert.

This is a great place to get the gear you need at a much lower cost. They even have some new equipment, still less expensive than other retailers. Great for youth sports- kids grow out of the sizes before they can wear out the equipment, so theres still plenty of life left!

Big store, lots of new and used in every sport. We went for Lacrosse, got a stick that was on clearance and then half off for a great deal! The guy helping us was super helpful, and the store has a very laid-back, friendly vibe. All in all, there is so much stuff it can be overwhelming!

Needed a set of clubs for our 17-year-old son who is learning to play golf. The online photos were extremely helpful in choosing a set of irons that appeared to have been used very little and with like-new grips. I bought a set of Founders Club TV3S MP 300 steel shaft 3-SW that shows very few signs of ever being swung. Original tacky Royal grips. Also a PING G5 10.5 degree graphite driver in similar condition with original tacky grip and an Odyssey Dual Force 990 putter in similar condition with the oOdyssey tacky grip. All for prices near or less than what ebay sellers were asking. Could not be happier. Bob was responsive on the phone, by email and in person when I picked up the clubs. Nothing close on Craigslist Kansas City and plenty to choose from online at Play It Again. No shipping charges and had them in hand one hour after online purchase.

I love coming here for the weights they are so adorable and the cable equipment is the best. This place is always my go to. .69 cents a pound for Olympic weights who can compete.

I had the pleasure of shopping here this week and found the selection, service and people completely delightful. I was shopping for used golf equipment and found 10 times the selection and variety of what I was expecting. Tons of pre owned bags, clubs and accessories available. Bought a first quality stand bag for $40 and a near-new three wood for $35. Outstanding! I read all of the reviews on here and felt compelled to introduce myself to Bob the owner. I found him to be honest, respectful and tremendously helpful in my search for the right stuff. This place, their staff and their inventory is first class.

Play it again sports is very well organized and prices are fair. They had all the bats organized by length, which made the shopping experience quick and painless. Items that I sold were priced fair, since they do have to make money. I have been here many times and it always my first stop when looking for sports equipment. Keep up the great work!

Me and my wife just bought a used treadmill from Play It Again Sports and couldnt be happier with our purchase. They had a great selection and we were helped by Phil who really knew what he was talking about and was able to get us a great deal! They also were able to deliver the treadmill and were very professional and timely with the delivery. If you are looking on buying a used treadmill for your house I would definitely recommend checking here first.

Went in looking for weight rack and dumbbells. Didnt get asked for help until we were walking out the door. We had been there at least 25 minutes. Decent selection of baseball, hockey and little bit of lacrosse equipment.

I have been here a few times. The staff is very knowledgeable. The new items are reasonably priced. The issue i have is the prices of the used items. The bats for instance. They are well used and still priced above the online new value. I am not much of a haggler, but i guess if that is how business is done, this place is great. For a casual shopper like me, its just overpriced.

I liked being able to find used names brand equpment at a fraction of the original cost. Seems as this they forgot what they are selling g is used. Dont waste my time in there anymore.

During our last visit few months ago weve asked for help to get a hockey gear and got someone to helped to pick. Paid close to $300 and found out a few weeks later that a brand new pair of gloves we were advised to buy are for 6-year old, not a 10-year old.Sorry cant drive 40 miles each way to exchange it. Same with used hockey pants - when we show it at arena were told we bought a small model. Please train your people so they would be competent in what they pick for those who have no experience. Always a long wait even with few customers in a store. Often feels like you own them money instead of buying ;) Was a customer with several purchases through several years but will not be back or advise anyone. Buy online - better price and can return.

Decent supply of gear with rotating quality/sizing depending on what they get in. Flat rates for each type of gear. Got basically new indoor soccer shoes for $12! Call ahead just to be sure theyll have what youre looking for.

Drove an hour to this place because it was the closet store to me. In my home state we had Play It Again Sports all over and they had great prices as well as a lot of a selection. Was not the case at this store and the selection of Baseball Gear was slim and WAYYYYYYY OVER PRICED!!!

Daughter was looking for her first softball bat after a few years of not playing. We had a very tight budget to work with and the gentleman that helped us found the perfect bat for her and was able to get what she needed in the price that fit our budget. everyone in the store was very helpful and all had smiles on there faces the whole time we was there. will be going back for more of the items my daughter needs for softball...

Called ahead to make sure they bought used hiking packs and was told absolutely. Drove across town to get there and was told they never buy backpacks. Fail.

Great place to get sporting equipment at reasonable prices. Good selections, even for sports like hockey, lacross, etc. Plenty of golf clubs to choose from. And if you kid needs cleats for soccer, baseball, track - this is the place to go.

Its a good enough sports store. Its decent if you need an item quickly and cant afford to shop around for it. If you have time to look online, you can find many of the used items new at a comprable price as some of the used items and can nearly always find used items on Ebay at a much better price. As with any buy and sell shop, dont go there expecting to get rich on your used goods. They will offer you somewhere around 20-30% or less than what they plan to sell the items for, which is probably around 20-30% less than you could sell them on ebay, craigslist or letgo for. With all that said, they are friendly and helpful and upfront. Just not the best value in town on either side of the business. Also, use caution, purchasing a used item is always a final purchase. You can return in 14 days but only for store credit.

We bought my daughters softball gear here, a combination of used (cleats) and new (glove). The staff was super-helpful and the selection of used items made our budget go a lot further.

It had exactly what I wanted, but I was partially lucky to find cleats in my size. $10 for nearly-new cleats was just I wanted. Im a co-rec softball player, I dont need $100 cleats and brand-new equipment.

I ordered a first basemans mitt for a high school baseball player. I received it with the laces broken. When I returned it for an exchange, I ended up with a girls softball mitt. The guy told me that he sent me what I wanted when I specifically ordered a baseball mitt from the beginning. I wouldnt order online. There were also delayed shipping excuses.
