Not only a grocery store, they have great breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. The employees are so helpful and generous with their portions. Very reasonable priced options. Highly recommend for families.

Super convenient and usually has everything I need so I visit when necessary. On the flip side, the prices are higher than standard (unless they have a special) and the employees are ruder than average.

Ive been shopping here forever, and its always been a great store. But the bakery blew me out of the water today. I spotted this adorable unicorn cake a few months ago, and we asked if they could recreate it for my birthday, and not only did they deliver, but they made it extra sparkly and gorgeous. Its delicious too. Their specialty cupcakes arent cheap, but theyre beautiful and yummy and totally worth it. This mini cake was only $15, which is amazing considering the time and care that clearly went into it. Id totally recommend them to anyone looking for something special. The first photo is the original one I saw in the case a few months ago, the second photo is the birthday cake I received. So pretty!

I got charged 8.68 for three pieces of fried chicken and they wouldnt refund my money dont rermember her name but she was an older lady who hates her job she wears glasses beware

Im not one to ever write reviews unless they are positive and complimentary, but this morning I was very unsatisfied with my experience at the Price Chopper off 151st and Metcalf in Overland Park. I went to get my son some dinner for this evening and when I got home, I realized the fish sticks I purchased expired July 31st 2020. Should I have checked the expiration date while I was at the store? Yes, probably so. However, I dont feel the need to always check expiration dates unless its freshly prepared meat, etc. as I expect grocery store employees to take responsibility for that. I go back to Price Chopper to replace the fish sticks with a box that has not expired....every single other box on the shelf had expired on July 31st 2020 as well. So, I picked something else out for dinner tonight and went to customer service to tell them the fish sticks I purchased are expired, I would like my money back and purchase what I chose instead for dinner. I also informed the lady behind the counter that all the fish sticks on display for purchase are expired. She let someone know. She refunded my original purchase and rang up my other food. Her body language was evident that she didnt care about what had happened. As I was waiting for her to show some sort of empathy, she just handed me my bag of my new purchased items and didnt say anything. I couldnt help but ask her (in a very polite tone), I realize this wasnt specifically your fault, but are you going to apologize or say anything to me for the inconvenience of me having to come back out here? She stared at me for a few seconds looking surprised Id even ask her that. She look away and said, Im so sorry, in an incredibly sarcastic tone. I said, yes, you seem to be. Still looking away she muttered, mmm hmmm under her breath.As a (former) loyal Price Chopper customer, I will never be shopping for my familys groceries there ever again. I spend around $400 a month at this Price Chopper and all I expect is a small amount of quality customer service, especially from the person who was working behind the CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK!!! This was around 9:30am on Friday, October 9th. So, I highly recommend that whoever is responsible for training on customer service to ensure customers have a positive experience at their store, maybe put this woman through additional training. I know I am just 1 person out of everyone in the entire city that shops at Price Chopper so losing my business will not affect their business (which is not my intention in writing this), I was just very disappointed with my experience and this was not how I wanted to start my Friday.

This is a beautiful store with lots of helpful people on the floor. The health market is lovely, the produce always looks good, the bathrooms are very clean and the bakery is so tempting. However, I remain perpetually annoyed whenever I leave here because Requesting my items to be sacked a certain way so that they’re safe for traveling seems to be such a daunting and impossible task for some of the associates to complete. To avoid being pushy and controlling, I organize the groceries onto the conveyor belt a specific way so that they can be sacked accordingly; I feel it makes the process easier and keeps me from looking like a complainer who wants to take over someone else’s job. Yet, every single solitary time I visit, my groceries are sacked in a way that is unsatisfactory for me, even after making my requests extremely clear and even doing my part to lessen the burden. The cashiers/sackers still do whatever they want & it is frustrating because I spend a lot on kosher & organic foods here.I’m not gonna stop coming but I just wanted to share that feedback. Thank you.

Worst customer service with their so call Custom Cake baker... she was rude while taking the order and showed least interest on what we want. I am a first time mom and was looking for a good cake for my gender reveal. Since I was running short of time plus it’s covid I had no choice but to end up with price chopper .. they have a quick turn around of 24 hrs just to provide us the worst cake.. looks like she mixed less amount of icing so she tried to patch up with whatever she had and the end product was horrible.. even for cupcakes she told she is running out of pink so gave us less number of pink cupcakes.... can’t she take the effort to mix some extra and deliver good product?I really don’t recommend their bakery if you are looking to make your day special.

Im new t ok the Kansas City area and I am very happy to see a nice grocery store chain like Price Chopper. This location is just a few miles from my place. I like how the store is large, clean and has a good selection of brand names at pretty good prices. Because I am new and havent experienced everything, Ill give it a 4 out of 5 that could possibly change in either direction in the future.

One star too many.Just Went in And paid for 3 items and only came home with 2.Called to talk to a manager and was put on hold.Good old Aldi, even if rushed to get rid of you.

Nice store but I cant tell you how many times I have taken my mother - who is disabled - and not found a mobile cart - I think they have two??!! We have had to leave without shopping and go to Wal Mart down the street. They always have carts.

Amazing street tacos. Amazing salsa. But no tortilla chips. I asked why the amazing salsa bar and no chips. No one had a great answer for me.....not hitting the bar just yet.

Really a nice store. Check out the cheese counter. Mike is so knowledgeable, a real pleasure to meet and talk to. Also this store has a great florist with anything you could ever want for your favorite little lady.

They price gouge their medication. They charge 50 dollars for a months supply of adderall which is 18 dollars down the street at CVS

Albert in Seafood made my whole night! I got out of work late and arrived at the store after Seafood had closed. Albert kindly helped me, despite the fact that he was already closing down, and the salmon I made for dinner was downright delish.Thanks for the excellent customer service!

Worst experience at a price chopper. doesnt even deserve 1 star. my wife n i were in for the steak special on Wednesday 9/4/19 at 7:26pm and ordered the special. waited for 35 minutes and tried to ask the server/ person at the grill as people who ordered after us was getting their food and we did not! our number was 80 and she was walking around with order number 81 which was ours but she didnt want to admit!!! she was really rude and told me r u 81 did i say 81 than why r u asking!!! when i asked another server after 10 mins now we r going on 40 mins she said there was no order for us and she will try to get our order in after another 10 mins she comes n says we r out of baked potato and instead we would get the fries. we left with out our meal and talked to customer service but never heard anything from a manager!!!

Mngmt places sale signs up next to items that are not on sale. Cashier said Sometimes their register keys get stuck,charged me 4 times for one big bag of splenda. I picked up a bag of shrimp the was $25 for $12.50. Sign right above. I was charged $60 for 3 lemons thst should have been 88 cents. this happens everytime i go to this store ALL I HAVE to say is you need to really check what your being charged. I never buy bulk form them i only pick up milk or bread.

I want there several years ago and there was a distinct smell of sewage. Another time they were remodeling and the electric doors didnt work. People were standing around looking worried.Today, I stopped to get some ribs (shoe leather and sauce - forget it) and although I use my telephone number at Price Chopper in Roeland Park, Lansing Kansas, Lenexa, Olathe and 103rd in KC, MO, they refused to give me credit for other sale-reduced items.I think Ive learned my lesson!!! Pitiful unfriendly way of merchandizing. Whew.
