The team here was so incredibly helpful in getting us through our sump pump emergency. I showed them pictures of our current set up and they were able to help me find the exact products I needed to get the new pump installed, even walking me through the installation process. There is nothing quite like a local community hardware store!

Really good people. I was looking for gloves to help employees who were pruning trees with long thorns. The gentleman who helped us showed us a few and then recommended welding gloves. A brilliant idea. They are working.I shop at the bigger stores too, but I REALLY appreciate the personal service at my Ace hardware.

Ace is a pretty good general store. If your looking for specialty nuts or screws its a great place to shop. Its not cheap but finding what you need when no one else has it is priceless. Usually there is plenty of one on one help also.Keep in mind your not going to find as much selection as the bigger box stores but its still a good place to shop.

Employees were clearly not taking mask requirements seriously, suggesting a store culture that favors looking cool over social health issues. Strangely, the youngest employee I saw was the one who was talking most care to wear his mask and wear it correctly. The older employees were more concerned about their mask making them look foolish; which is ironic due to how ridiculous they look wearing it loosely or only covering their chin or their mouth.

Nice neighborhood hardware store, friendly staff, easy parking, in and out quickly and no trouble.

Made a homemade blow dart

I went into Ace Hardware for the first time and was absolutely blown away by the customer service I got from Terry. She went above and beyond helping me find what I needed. She helped me out so well that I feel 100% confident using the product I got on my own! If she isn’t a manager yet she needs to be promoted sometime soon! Definitely will be telling people about ace hardware.

Wont let me go into detail in previous post. Manager and employees do a commendable job considering the snobby entitled fake rich that have moved into the area over the last few years. Great store. They had plenty of help and helped me load as well. They let me buy the floor model, so no assembly rewuired.

Employees were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. When we asked about the location of a product, one man told us the aisle and location on the aisle. We asked about something else later of a different employee who appeared to be headed somewhere specific. He stopped, took us directly to the product, and, when assured that was what we were looking for, went back to his other task. So helpful, all. Thanks.

I have been going here many years before Ace bought the previous owner out. While not a superstore it has most of what a diy person needs for their projects. Good very long-term staff to assist you. Huge display and BBQ section and sell Traeger.Just a good store to pop in and get out.

I am no hardware expert nor do I frequent hardware stores but this place knew what in was looking for. I needed a special type of screw and was overwhelmed with their aisle of screws. I asked for help and the employee knew exactly where to find what in needed. I fully expected an employee who didnt really have a clue to half help like other stores. Instead, I had immediate help and found exactly what in was looking for.

Dont expect the 151st st Westlake employees to pay any attention to covid19 recomendations. . .from ages 18 to 60 none of the employees had on masks to help protect their customers.They stand literally right next to you in those crowded aisles. There were 3 employees in the same aisle as myself and distancing didnt seem to cross their minds. At least they were protected from me and the vast majority of the customers who had masks on and being considerate.

A very good hardware store. I went there today to pick up a number of things I needed. Was greeted and told where the stuff I needed would be. The information was accurate. The checkout person was friendly and helpful. Definitely a good experience

This store has been serving the Stanley area for decades. They have everything you need for those small projects or repairs. Great place to get what you need without wasting time trying to find stuff in one of the Big Box stores. You can easily find someone to help you get what you need.

Personal service there are people that can help with your questions. This has been my good to hardware store. But I will have to find new store. They let people enter with out masks. Come on what rock are these people living under.

I was helped find what I needed very quickly! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They even allow dogs in the store. Definitely the best location Ive been to!

Ordered a tool online ( was forced to buy duplicate tools to place online order ), order was sent to the wrong store (Girard) instead of ACE on 151st in Overland park, Ks Then order was canceled without notification. Then I was told by CST SVC the part would be shipped to the 151st store. Waited a couple of days & went to the store on 151st only to new told they didnt have it & refused to do any looking that involved leaving the computer screen. Then had the audacity to suggest to me that they could reorder the tool (that I would have to wait yet another week to get ) after all of this Im really not sure if Ill ever purchase anything from ACE Hardware again.

We like this hardware store much better than tee other nearby hardware store. It is convenient, has nearly everything I need and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This is our number one hardware store. HD is number 2.

The employees are always helpful and knowledgeable. I prefer visiting here than bigger box retailers because of the personalized treatment.

This staff knows exactly what you need and where it is located, they are a bit more than Home Depot but worth every penny for the factor alone. Really miss that old store dog though. :)

If you want a high school kid telling you, i think thats in isle 74, go to home depot. If you want some real help, check out the local folk; they usually know what there talking about.
