Friendly fast service. A great neighborhood liquor store.

The owner is a nut job. It’s crazy how aggressive he is to customers. It’s unfortunate because the rest of the staff is very friendly.

What a great liquor store!! One of the last great family owned businesses left!! I am always treated so well by the owner and his family!! All of the employees are so helpful, nice, and make me feel better if Ive had a bad day. Everyone was was wearing a mask. Great selection, and always have what I want at reasonable prices!! Wouldnt go anywhere else!!

The lady at the counter was really friendly and both very helpful and knowledgeable about the store! Ill definitely be back, for sure.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This establishment is not wearing masks. The owner will curse you, if you even suggest it. His business would not be shut down, if we went into another shut down. So very selfish for all the other businesses that would be effected. I will not shop in this store again. Ive reported them for the violation of executive order #20-52.

Great prices and friendly staff. Every time I have been in the manager is always wearing his mask. He has always been kind and courteous and always opens the automatic door for me whether my hands are full or not

I quit going to this store since nobody there wears masks...pretty stupid considering how easy it is to do...oh well...

I live in Wichita, KS, but its refreshing to read these negative reviews. I love knowing there are business owners who believe in my American right to protect my health by NOT wearing a mask, which is basically strapping a petri dish of collected germs and bacteria to your face! Anyone posting negative reviews for this reason is clearly uneducated as to the genuine facts on this issue and likely get all of their news from MSM. Id give 10 stars if that was possible! 👏👏👏

The best selection, staff and prices of any liqour store of its size in Johnson County. Thermostats on the beer cave to show cutomers how cold their beer will be. While other stores struggle to get product like Buschs new Apple beer, they have plenty. Easy to find any product, and the selectuon on Bourbons is unbelievable! Great store, great people, great service!

If you’re looking for an excellent liquor store, this is it. If masks are your thing, I think you’re allowed to wear them.

I am concerned by the decisions and the aggressiveness of the owner. He has asked (and that is a nice way of putting it) customers/patrons to not return to his store when they asked about the no mask wearing policy at the store. Not planning to patronize this store again and am worried for the safety of a customer verbally assaulted by the owner. Small business owners can not afford to put customers at risk and berate them for following protol.

The store has gone through an unbelievable number of staff this summer. I predict this is related to not allowing his employees to wear masks. I am done supporting my neighborhood store.

This place is a reckless establishment. Nobody was wearing masks when I went in.

Disgusting treatment of customers, not to mention refusal to follow the mask order. Many people turn to imbibing in these stressful times, and the owner finds in himself to increase that stress. Id leave a negative score if I was able.

I have been a frequent customer of Top Cellars Select for years. I found the staff very friendly. Its conveniently located, and they carried Dots pretzels before the local grocery stores. Those are addicting. :)Fast forward to Summer 2020. We are in the middle of a global pandemic. People and businesses are suffering and our numbers in Kansas are beginning to rise. In the interest of public health, on July 2nd Governor Kelly and the Johnson County Commissioners voted to make masks indoors mandatory. On August 1, 2020, I stopped in to pick up a bottle of wine. The sales associate was not wearing a mask. She greeted me and I asked her do you not wear masks here? She answered, no. I said, ok, and I immediately left the building.I called the business, and informed the sales associate that by not wearing masks they were in violation of executive order #20-52, and that I would report it to a designated hotline for violations of that order. The associate said, ok. And the conversation ended.Ten minutes later, I get a call from a number I do not know and have never called. A man asked me if I had called his store and his associate. I said I had and he identified himself as the owner and asked what I had said. I explained the gist of the conversation I had with the associate. He proceeds to berate me and say its none of my f***ing business. Yelling, he continues and says, I have a mandate for you: go f***k yourself and dont ever come back in my store again.

Ill never forget my first visit. I was overly entertained by the automatic door that opens when you leave the store. When you finish your purchase to head for the door the cashier presses a button to help you exit the establishment. Its such a small thing but I love this place for that bit of customer service and their terrific selection of beer. Friendly staff as well.

Good local business with hard-working owners! Unfortunately it has been recently unfairly targeted and a bunch of random people have been leaving bad reviews that havent even been there.

Wanted to purchase liquor, but noticed many people going in without masks. I asked the girl at the register why she wasnt wearing a mask. I was told this place doesn’t wear masks. My sister called to let them know that they were violating county mandate. The owner called her back and said, “here’s a mandate for you: go f*** yourself.”

Was in yesterday to check prices on limited selection products and when I was looking I got a text from my wife and had to go. What I believe was the owner stopped me on my way out and asked what I was looking for that he didn’t have. I said “nothing,” and he stopped me again asking what I was doing there if I wasn’t going to get anything...I said I was checking prices and looking at the selection but I had to head home and he gruffly said something to the effect of “don’t come back in the future if you aren’t going to buy anything.”To a degree I get it...every sale counts for a small shop but how are you going to do that with that kind of customer service? The way he handled not getting my $13 yesterday makes me never want to patronize his place again. I shouldn’t need to explain that I got a text from my wife and needed to go home right then in order to not get a hard time on my way out.

Everyone is ALWAYS so nice and helpful. And thoughtful about opening the door for you when your hands are full.

NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER. Wish i could give this place negative stars...not only are the employees incredibly unprofessional, they do not follow the mask policy what so ever, and sell to those under 21 constantly. Can’t even believe this place is still allowed to run... wild.

Once you get past the location and exterior--this is a great store! They have a great selection of wine and bear at very competitive prices. The sales are very good. They are just around the corner from me and I have no reason to venture any further.
