Doesnt matter what day of the week or what time you go you can never get through the aisles and shop like a normal person without a maze. The last 10 times have actually been worse than this and I cant even get the things I need. I go there because its so convenient but will walk out if I cant fully shop there.

Dollar General on Woodson is THE place to go! The manager Mike (the tall one cause there are two) is a phenomenal person. He was kind, helped me find my things, and told me about some great offers on here. Kory, (Cashier) was also very quick with scanning my items and we had a lovely chat about the day. Overall: great prices, fantastic customer service, and one heck of a place to go when youre feeling down! 5 stars!

You dont go there and expect high quality things. The aisles were pretty narrow. It didnt seem organized, it was okay

Unbelievable * is the word that come to mind when I think of the experience I had today at this particular store. The lady made her venders wait outside until she opened the doors at 8am. As the customers were about to head in she said...only for Pepsi was allowed in. After making us waIt at least 20 minutes she final came to let us in. No apologies, just a look of frustration on her face one that sad. When my mom and I approached the register. I places 2 tiises .no greeting or anything. She q horrible face forf

I love the store and the staff are friendly. Especially the on thats on St.Charles Rock Road . Thats the one I believe, thats in Overland MoI went in there during the Christmas holiday very nice young ladies and personable.

A lot of Dollar General stores in my area at least are quite messy at this location they go above and beyond expectations and the store is always in order. The staff is always willing and ready to help as well.

Again today hand written signs on doors temporary closed. Happens way too often. Time was about 1 p.m.

Dollar General is great for snacks and cleaning supplies. Sometimes you can find cute seasonal things. However, the problem I have with most Dollar general stores is that they are messy. The aisles tend to be cluttered and the shelves are unkempt. Other than that, you can find some good deals.

They need to keep more stuff stocked up for customers.

We go to Dollar General to avoid going to Wal-Mart for things like cat litter and cat food, over the counter medications, face cream, decorating items, soda if it on sale and various other items. Sometimes you will find that the packages are smaller and less weight or count than the standard size, ie 12 tablets verses 24 or less ounces but the price is cheaper also. Plus you never know what goodies you will find there as they stock some one time items. We havent been to Wal-Mart in a very long time. Lol 😆

First time there it was nice on the inside.

Variety of foods. It is a little more expensive.

Unfortunately the store is closing on Manchester Road it was a good organized clean store well-stocked sometimes it took a long time to cash out

I like these Dollar General. Sometimes. When stocks. This store just about has anything you need at a good price. But the stalking of shells and the orders they get come so late that sometimes the shelves are even empty. And they do have a few employees that are rude to people. But theres a couple employees that are very very nice. I do like this place. And I would recommend it.

Update; December 15, 2019.The staff is always friendly and helpful, but went above and beyond today.After purchasing my goods, I went to my car. After getting buckled in I was unable to locate my phone. Obviously, panic mode struck in. I looked all around my car, to no avail. I went back inside and looked through the carts and at the counter, but no phone. Even a customer helped me. Still no phone to be found. The associate working the register let me use the landline but 3 attempts just sent me to voicemail, my phone was not off nor on vibrate. I went out to my car again, but still could not locate the phone.I went back inside and the associate who was stocking helped me dial again, but still just went to voicemail. I started walking up and down the aisles and asked a guy if hed seen a phone, he had not. I was down a couple aisles and looked back down towards the guy and asked if he could dial the phone and maybe we could hear it ring. He offered as did Mike, I think he is the manager. Mike called, it rang, but we could not hear it. He had me go out to my car and then he called again. I heard it ringing! It was under the front driver seat. I answered and thanked him.So, not only a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Woodson DG but big hugs and very Merry Christmas to the 3 guests in the store who helped me as well. They stopped what they were doing, stocking up on necessities during a snowstorm to help a stranger. I love my Overland neighborhood!I hope corporate reads this so they can know, and acknowledge the staff at this location for the excellent customer service.

Surprised how many good items are iffered. I will never go to family dollar again. Between the two, this store is by far the winner. Lots of craft items, coloring books, purses, wallets. 2 female workers were nice as well

I have to say this is usually on of the more organized Dollar Generals. I feel like a lot of times these stores are a mess & the aisles are cluttered, but I rarely have to deal with that at this one. Plus it is one of the locations that stay open until 10p, which is helpful for a night owl like me.

I can get all my household basics from DG. Cleaning supplies, paper goods, some food items. My only concern is the store I regularly go to is fairly new but it seems dark inside and some areas seem cluttered. But Im getting a great deal and I also go to multiple stores depending on where I am. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable.

Bought a cable for $5, found a better quality one for a buck. Double check a few other items and found DG s prices noticeably higher. The only redeeming quality is they dont really trip about returns, just have your receipt.

Friendly staff always nice when we go in. Place is sometimes a mess but when 2 people are working its hard I understand that. Love my local DG!!

Want to share my experience. July 2nd my 2 children an ran to get few things I was in the shoe aisle trying on some shoes I was going to purchase the manger ( black ladies braces with glasses) asked me if I had shoes I replied yes an showed her in my cart Im trying on shoes i want to get she told me I need to have my shoes on in the store again I replied im looking at shoes cant you see Im going to buy I walked around the conner to look at some slippers the manger then said well we will see about that she got her phone an CALLED THE POLICE ON ME ... I continued to shop an 10 minutes came spoke to her she made up.a story about she was so concerned about my health an not having shoes on a dirty floor .. the police spoke to me I told them I was with the shoes not in the food section or just wondering the store with no shoes ... an the manger said nothing of concerns about my health she was rude an called the police for no real reason .... the police said I was fine to continue shopping... I DONT APPRECIATE THE MANGER CALLING THE POLICE AN SCAREING MY 2 CHILDREN OVER NOTHING...

Extremely slow service! I couldve have saved 7 minutes if I had went down the street to Walgreens. The cashier interrupted my payment transaction to do a price check for someone else. Just poor customer service because there were 2 other registers available.

Customers treated very nice by store associates. Manager very serious about her job ready to assist customers with honesty when there is a problem with prices.

This DG does a pretty good job for DG.

All employees I came into contact with were kind and helpful.

The DG app has digital coupons but the problem is the digital coupons 90% of the time dont even work...its so frustrating!!!!! I hope they fix this bc I usually go there a lot and it would be nice to stand in line and then have the digital coupons on my app actually work!!!!

Horrible. product is never filled on shelves. big carts full of shipment on carts blocking isles. Never enough help. checkout is always a long wait. nightmare to shop.

My 12 year old kid was told at the door to leave due to no adult being with him, when called up there to ask why I was told a kid knocked a shelf down while shopping without an adult so this manager took it apron herself to make a law only in her store. I will be do my shopping at the family dollar from now on
