Absolutely the best. Friendly staff and theyre fast! This is one of those places I almost wish I didnt know about Now I cant ride by without stopping! The custard is delicious. They have a gazillion different flavors and toppings. And whats best of all is its very reasonably priced!

You can never go wrong with Skeeters! Service is always great. We take our order to go every time and it makes it home without melting too much. Kids love the twist cones with sprinkles. Banana split and Skurtle are our favorites.

OH SO YUMMY!!! probably my 25th time here. Its always been the perfect place to take the kids after persuading them to do extra chores. Its a little on the pricey side buy well worth it.

Stumbled upon this place after hitting up three, yes three, McDondald’s drive-thru’s with my kids only to find out they were out of ice cream. Skeeters was great. Custard was silky smooth and they added a ton of mix-ins. Not the cheapest place, but the custard was great!

Its as good as Ted Drewes! (Actually, I think it might be even better). They have a little treat for your dogs, too!

AMAZING as usual! I found out about this little hidden gem a few years ago when one of my sons T Ball teammates mom wanted to go for icecream after the boys played a game. My family and I have been hooked every since.

Its okay I got the strawberry shortcake concrete and it was a little grainy. Im assuming cuz the vanilla ice cream had shortcake pieces in it.

I usually really like this place and get good service. Today I ordered a chocolate shake but got a twist shake with chocolate syrup and as soon as she tried to hand it to me I told her I asked for chocolate and was expecting the chocolate custard. This first lady said she would remake it. Instead of remaking it a few minutes later another woman handed me back the same item and said no they always make items where people ask for chocolate with the twist bc the chocolate is too rich for some people, however this doesn’t make sense since they added chocolate syrup. It was super nasty and tasted like a fat cup of old chocolate syrup. I was super disappointed since I normally have a good experience here. Just doesn’t make sense to me that someone would order chocolate and be given twist and then told that’s how they always do it. They should at the very least tell people who order chocolate that they won’t be making it with the chocolate but instead with the twist. I felt like the second lady was very rude saying they refused to remake it after I was already told they would since it wasn’t what I asked for.

Good ice cream. BUT Never seen a black/African American employee working! Nor have I seen a male and I’ve been to this place over 20 times this year alone. Oh yeah... the owner fired my friend for being black. Literally

Custard is ok, definitely not worth the hype. I got a orange dream sickle concrete, it was no where near a orange flavor, it was basically a vanilla concrete colored orange. I have been going to Skeeters for years and have only seen 1 POC/African American there. My sister was fired from there for being African American.

I have been going here for years. I grew up right down the street on Spencer so I have visited many times since it was only about a 3 minute walk from my front door. I reccomend the Brownie Delight it is my favorite item to order from here. Keep up the good work Skeeters Frozen Custard. A winner in my book.

The small chocolate cup was very good. However I wont be returning here because they are way over priced. The small cup was only partially filled and for 3 dollars with tax I got about 4 tablespoons of custard not enough to quinch my taste for chocolate. Its too bad too because Im sure a lot of people never return because how overpriced for the small amount of custard they give.they. They are actually loosing a lot of money by keeping these high outrageous prices with tiny portions. People wont return like me.

Ordered the pistachio concrete and it was okay. Tasted a bit artificial but not sure if that was from the custard or the added pistachio flavoring. It would be helpful if they posted no smoking signs near the outside tables.

I am new to the Skeeters tradition as my boyfriend and I just moved to the area last fall, but this custard shop was such a blessing to have nearby. From what Ive seen so far, there are few crowds like you would see at Ted Drewes, but the quality is just as good. The fact that they are open year-round is also convenient for those cold-as-heck nights where you NEED some frozen custard. The best thing on the menu I have had so far is the chocolate suicide sundae. If you like chocolate, you will NOT be disappointed.

Skeeters has the Very Best Custard in all of the metro area of St.Louis. The folks that own it or some of the nicest people you will ever spend your money with. The fact that the custard is Great just makes this a Special Stop.

Open 7 days a week. Lots of great concretes & sundaes. My dog gets a cone with a dog biscuit on top. Great to sit out on a nice summer evening!

I have been coming to Skeeters for over 15 years and I will always love them! They are pretty quick at getting orders made and they have a lot of options to choose from. Will always be one of my favorites for many years to come and everyone that I know loves them just as much as I do! :-)

I just got a peanut butter cup concrete and it had virtually no peanut butter cups in it. Ive been there in the past and had a decent experience, but Ill honestly probably not go back. For the price Id expect better.

One of our favorites! We live very close which is good but dangerous because soooooo delicious. Usually get a concrete and I think just as good as Ted Drews if not better. It is a little expensive especially for our large family when we all go but so worth it:)

Skeeters Custard is one of the best hidden gems in Saint Louis. Small old town flavor, no crazy lines. And they have a drive thru. I love Skeeters. :)

I’ve lived in overland my whole life, and have on multiple occasions gone to skeeters to get ice cream. Today my boyfriend and I went and both ordered “specialty concretes”- brownie batter and peanut butter cup. There was LITERALLY no pieces of brownie or peanut butter cup. We paid $11 for slightly flavored vanilla ice cream. If we wouldn’t have picked it up and brought it home before we realized how terrible the ice cream was, I would have DEMANDED my money back. I will never get ice cream from here again. If you want good ice cream- absolutely go somewhere else.

Awesome frozen custard...best to eat it while there...it melts extremely fast. So many flavors to choose from, so many choices. Extremely friendly staff, incredible hours of operation. Try the German chocolate concrete, or the banana coconut creme...mmmmm

I know that St. Louis is kind of a Ted Drewes town, but I would place Skeeters right there along side it (I wonder why there isnt at least one more location?).The variety of menu items available, coupled with their high quality, is enough to bring one back for a number of visits. Although its not exactly conveniently located, it is DEFINITELY worth the trip.Highly recommended.

Andys is way better even Turkey hill ice cream. Its doesnt taste like ice cream or custard at all. It kinda reminds me or a thick frozen pudding/Jello type thing. I just threw it away.

Love it. The concretes are always great; my personal goal is not to eat the same one twice, though I did with the pumpkin concrete...with cheesecake. Mmm. Theyve got a huge, solid roster of concretes, plus seasonal ones and others that get created just because (the new cake and brownie batter ones are sheer genius). Clearly, I lean toward the concretes; they also have sundaes, dips, yogurt, sugar free ice cream, drumsticks, and a really nice range of cones and sizes. The baby cone actually comes in a teeny tiny cone, rather than putting a little dab of custard in an adult size one. Small details, but they make life nicer. Also, theres a patio in front and chairs/benches in back to sit on while enjoying your custard.

Getting stingy(cheap). They made a big deal about me wanting fudge on top of my ice cream...when I specifically told the person whom took my order that I wanted that. Customer service isnt too great and idk if anything has changed or my likes have....but the yogurt(ice cream) isnt what I remember. That might be due to the larger number of choices compared to my childhood(when I loved near there).

I’ve worked here before. This girl literally ate out of someone’s ice cream and served it to them. The owner is trash and she treats her employees like trash. Pays them under the table and STEALS money from them. When she is confronted with her actions, she fires them. Please don’t support this business.

This place is a small frozen custard shope, usually only people from overland know about it. I grew up on this place it is historical to me. Sugar free options. dogs are welcome, the owner loves dogs and has a small vanilla cone with a dog treat in it. Prices are ok.

Came here after dinner wanting to go somewhere good and local so I went here. You have to go through a sketchy neighborhood, but, its kind of unfair to to rate this place by the neighborhood that its next to. Overall decent price and a good place to get custard. 4.1/5
