Store was clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming, but not overbearing. I always appreciate being given the opportunity to shop in peace without being overly approached. They did great. They were out of a few things I wanted but hopefully that just means business is good. I was pretty impressed with the selection of welders they have available now.

I went to the Owatonna store for the first time. Loved the customer service! Even though Rochester is closer, we are going to Owatonna from now on!

I know, and most others do as well, that Harbor Freight does not always offer a high quality tool, so I am not considering that in my review. What I will consider is selection and customer service. I find what I am looking for (and then some) just about every time I visit this location. They keep their shelves well-stocked and there is always an employee around to help me find what I am looking for. Not every employee is the most polite or helpful, but the ones that arent dont seem to last long. By and large, if you visit this store you will find the employees willing and helpful and the shelves well-stocked. I recommend it.

Fantastic service, very friendly, and the manager even walked a heavy item out to my car on a hand truck, and loaded it in my car for me.

I am handicapped. I made sure to go at a slower time of day. I told them the items I wanted and they brought them up to the counter for me. Great service and a friendly checker.

A customer service was awesome walked in somebody greeted us at the door told us exactly where the item we were looking for was and got out. It was a fantastic experience.

This was a very interesting visit. We needed a tool quickly that was out of stock at all box stores. We were helped by the store manager that told us his brand is better than Dewalt or Milwaukee tried with all his skills to get us to buy a membership stating youll be back my reply was hopefully not to return a bad tool..... turns out everything we bought was defective and very hard to get it returned/credit.... semi cheap place for throw away tools. These are single use tools and cant believe a store manager would say their tools are better felt as if he thought we were fools... staff needs better training

You need a tv mount, they have it! Best prices around. Some things you dont need to pay alot for quality like the Hercules brand! I have increased my handiman perfection and speed with this product line!

Dont snub this place thinking only cheap tools can be found there. Yes, they offer fair, better, and best grades of tools but take a look-- you can get excellent quality stuff here for a great price. Be sure and sign-up for their coupons- everything comes around on a coupon if youre willing to wait for it. Questions? Ask the staff. They are very helpful and let you browse around all you want.

I walked into this location for the first time today and Im very pleased with everything that transpired. I walked in there looking for a specific toolbox and they not only had it, they gave me a deal on it. Then, they helped put it in the back of my suv. From beginning to end it was a good experience. Ill go back to this location.

Great place to shop. I could easily spend $5,000 here if my girlfriend would allow it.

I drove 25 miles to get something they did not have it made up an excuse about how a bunch of stock came in that was labeled wrong. There was someone else in their coming in to buy a completely different product and then they made it M up an excuse with him on how they were also old out and didnt have that product what a waste of time

Cool store with helpful employees. Cheap prices esspecially if you get the coupon book. I am able to buy one off use tools to help me with projects instead of suffering through without.

Be prepared to spend a lot of time looking at stuff and probably leaving with a lot more items in your bag than what you had planned on. I know I do, every time. They have cheap stuff, but also good quality items. Choice is yours.

Fairly priced tools and equipment for just about any job. They have sales usually going on constantly. Definitely a place worth peeking your head in.

Friendly, fast......not always knowledgeable but 100% seems to be given. If they do not know the answer or the tool they are smart enough to use google. Great people excellent service and obviously ridiculously low prices!

Friendly and helpful staff. Not pushy or trying to get a person to buy something they dont need.100% customer service... Prices are a bargain on lots of useful tools and equipment.

Everything else in Harbor Freight is good for Owatonna but theyre RC vehicles I would give them out of a 5-star rating A1 4 performance but a 5-4 looks Ive gotten two of them and things have broken from them and the batteries do not hold the church as long as they say they will especially on the time that you charge him up so my opinion dont get in RC from Harbor Freight they are basically crap3
