Came in with my sister in law 15 minutes early for my appointment, as requested. I wasn’t wearing a mask but I was unaware this was an issue. They sat us down in a corner for a half hour and took other walk ins while blatantly ignoring us. Finally, after half an hour, a woman walks up to me and says that I need a mask (mind you, I’ve been sitting in the store for half an hour at this point). She referenced a sign that said that they request patients wear masks, and if we don’t have one they have one for us. I very kindly said “No problem, I don’t have one on me, would you please be able to give me one?” The lady then blatantly lied to me and said they didn’t have any, when there was a box of masks clearly in sight. She made me leave, buy my own, and come back and then wait another half hour past my appointment when she could have simply given me one. I was very kind and respectful towards her request and don’t know why I was treated this way. Horribly unprofessional.

Highly professional staff. I always feel that I am being treated with dignity and respect. Such kindness and care is given from start to finish; from the person that greeted me, when I first entered the door to the person who finalized my eyeglass purchase. I have been purchasing eyeglasses at this office since I came to Owings Mills 13 years ago and each visit has been wonderful. I moved in 2019 and went to another vendor that tried to convince me to buy eyeglasses with options I could not afford. Worst of all, the other vendor got my prescription wrong, my progressives were off balance and I could not afford to replace them.I moved back to Owings Mills in January 2021 and I recently returned to the Garrison Forest Office where I have always been given the opportunity to use Visionworks coupons and select the most affordable eye wear options for my budget. Its nice to know that there are still places where being retired and on a fixed income does not prevent you from purchasing much needed eyeglasses. Thank you Visionworks Garrison Forest!

My visit today at Visionworks was superior Gloria has to be the most patient and professional woman I have come in contact with in a long time. She takes her time and explains everything with a smile on her face. She has a really good energy!

Customer service was the worst. Complete trash. My entire family and I have been going here for at least 10 years and over time the service has declined tremendously. This will be our last and final visit. There are no clear instructions or check in procedures. The staff are rude and condescending. Not one person enjoys their job. A customer service course would do them all well.

Our family was treated wonderfully by the staff and doctors at this location! They generously found an appointment for one of us (we had three people being seen the same day) when there was a system dysfunction and the doctor was kind enough to slip us in. Dina was amazingly professional and helpful in helping us search for and find the right frames, and even provided wonderful advice regarding a place to have other frames repaired. Great staff! Great service!

Very bad customer service from two of the women. There was a guy there who was great. The other two seem to hate their jobs. I felt very unwelcomed when being helped. This will be my last time getting service there.

Awesome experience. DJ was great Im new to needing glasses so he was very detailed in his explanations and taught me what I needed to know (didnt just tell me). He was patient with me and thorough in checking with insurance for the most benefits. The other staff were welcoming, and helped pick out great frames. Thank you!

My visit to Vision Works Owings Mills was long overdue. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist was inviting. I continue to visit this location because of the convenience, average to under wait time and personable customer service from vision experts like GLORIA.Initially I had uncertainty regarding details about my insurance and was a bit overwhelmed. Ms. Gloria was knowledgeable, patient and precise throughout my entire visit.Thank you Ms. Gloria and staff! I hope excellent customer service continues to be a guarantee at this location.

Bad service and doctor. Didn’t seem like they care too much. I would recommend going to the Americas Best Contacts and Eyeglasses near Costco (or The one inside Costco) if you dont mind going a few minutes longer.

Ms.Gloria and the entire staff were so welcoming and my experience was amazing. I haven’t had glasses in about 8 years and was self conscious about them but Ms. Gloria made me feel at ease and gave a nurturing experience. This location has gained a forever customer in me.

All the employees are knowledgeable and courteous. They dont just rush to sell you everything, they actually work with you to find and choose your best options.

Visiting this store was very upsetting and very few associates made me feel welcomed during my visit to the point where I had regret coming in the first place and that my time would have been better spent somewhere else even though my vision was highly impaired. I understand being at work can be very stressful (especially during COVID) if that was the case for some associates, but the experience I had as a customer seeking help and information could have been approached a lot better. One of my associates was Dina. 0/10 experience.

The phone system sucks, don’t bother calling them if your name is not a typical English name. The system cannot recognize any exotic names and therefore cannot proceed to do anything for you. Can’t even connect to a real person to answer the phone.

This was my first time at Visionworks and I’ll definitely be returning. I’ve been wearing eyeglasses/ lens for 20+ years so I have high expectations of customer services when I know I’m going to be spending a few hundred dollars. Everything from the ease of online scheduling, appointment reminders, and the added COVID santization precautions were highly impressed. The last 7 years I’ve used Myeyedr and the level of customer service and attention to detail with working with my vision insurance was unmatched. Thank you Visionworks OM team!!

We have just had an amazingly beautiful experience at Visionworks in Owings mills... My family was attended to by a lady called Dina Braswell went the whole 100 yards to cater to our every question, query and I must commend her ability to offer counsel and knowledge about our issue. My first insurance Medstar could not cover my sons and my glasses but Dina asked if I had work insurance which turned out to be perfect and everything was paid for by VSP!! Plus each of us got 2 pairs of glasses. We wouldnt know if Dina didnt tell us. She looked through all options for us!! THANK YOU SO MUCH DINA!!

While the staff is pleasant, I did not find them to be helpful at all. I scheduled an appointment for my husband and myself for August 25th well in advance. I received a phone call a few days prior to my appointment that the doctor had an emergency and will not be able to keep the appointments for our originally scheduled dates. I was told that they would reschedule both my husband and I to September 2nd. When I called them to confirm our appointments for today, I was told that my husband was not on the list and that they are booked for today. They then asked my husband to come on Sunday. I found this to be highly unprofessional and canceled both mine and my husbands appointments.Why is it so hard to keep appointments, Visionworks Garrison Forest?!

My girl had to get glasses from here and while I was waiting, I asked the receptionists if they took my insurance. They blew me off saying they were too busy! (I mean you could just say have a seat well get to you ya know). Anyway, thank God for Dina! She was helping my girlfriend and really pulled the store out of the one star rating lol! She looked up my info and was able to help me and im going back. If you go, ask for Dina. F them front door b**ches!

Gloria was great. I needed my glasses today but Corey the technician was technically off but happen to have come into the store. Gloria pulled some strings and between Gloria and Corey, I was able to get my glasses completed on an off day. These guys are great, I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I was very disappointed with the Convid 19 safety measures. First, my appointment was for 11:40 and was not seen by the Optometrist until 30 mins. later. I only saw one associate wearing gloves, and none of them washed or sanitized their hands after assisting a customers with picking out glasses, customers trying glasses on, or billing. I saw no sanitizing of chairs after each customer at all. The only cleaning I saw was the usual eye examining equipment NOTHING ELSE. The number of Convid 19 cases are increasing and my recommendation is not to visit the Garrison Vision Works until after this pandemic is over. However, I can say that the associates were pleasant.

Khayri assisted me today and Visionworks and his customer service was phenomenal. He was patient and really worked with me to get the best bang for my buck. I have been wearing glasses my whole life and often times the service can be not the greatest in the past but today has been a great experience. Good Work with selecting great staff! I 👀 better now!

I give this place 5 stars hands down. From the minute I walked in the door I was greeted with great customer service. However the reason I stopped to write this review is due to one extraordinary employee herself, Ms.Sharon. She was very polite, and respectful along with patient with me while I struggled to get my contacts in. I had went the day before and was unsuccessful with putting them in however thanks to Ms. Sharon taking time out her day to sit one on one with me the very next day I was able to get it and feel comfortable with the process. She definitely went beyond and above which is why I will continue to do business at the Owings Mills location. I highly recommend this location if you want to feel like employees like their job and aren’t just counting the minutes down.

Demetrisse Harris was very helpful when I was getting my glasses. He assisted me with picking out a pair that fit my face and personality. He was pleasant and easy to chat with. I worked with Ms. Gloria and she was wonderful and informative. The doctor who conducted my exam was also very efficient and pleasant. I had a very nice visit and Gloria was able to order frames that were not in store. There was no pushy upgrades and no forceful selling . I will definitely return again when I need new glasses. 2 MONTH UPDATE : 2 months and the transition add on that I paid for has still not kicked in .

My cousin went into this place for a eye exam two weeks ago. He has glaucoma and was told that he needed look into three additional machines plus take the eye test. He was not aware that he would be charged for the test up front. Whomever waited on him tried to be sneaky for not mentioning this up front and furthermore tried to dismiss him when he asked about looking to purchasing a new pair of glasses at a later date. I am so sorry that people have to be treated like this with all the turmoil going on in our country!!

I have been using them for my and my sons vision care for the last 5 or so years. They have been good. Today, however Kyhri gave great service. He took his time to make sure I used my vision benefits as best I could. He was friendly and informed. Dr. B took the time to explain the new changes in my vision as well

I had a great experience here - everyone was so kind and helpful, especially Kiana who helped me buy my glasses. She was so informative and thoughtful and worked to help me figure out the best deal to get everything I need at the most reasonable price. They worked so hard to figure out my insurance and tried to make it work for me. They had one of the best selections of frames Ive ever seen - so many styles that I loved, and the prices were great too! They also had my finished glasses on the same day I bought them which is faster than anywhere else!

Corey was extremely helpful in getting me my glasses. He answered all of my 100 questions without being annoyed, very personable, and was very knowledgeable about his work. I left a very happy customer and will be returning for my glasses needs.

Amazing eye glass doctors and store!! The customer service here is always fantastic. The doctors also take great care of you. They have the best selection of glasses I have seen any where. Great prices too! I refuse to go any where else. Kiana was so sweet and helpful in helping me get the lenses I needed! I cant wait to come back and work with her again when my transitions lenses get delivered to the store.

Gloria was fabulous she recommended a pair of glasses based off of a pair I had chosen but wasnt to keen about. She wasnt pushy with her sales pitch but wanted to make sure I had everything I needed in a great pair of lenses. I would definitely recommend Gloria to my friends and family.
