Appointment at 5pm, walked in at 4:50 and was asked to sit down. Then, two people working in the front went on a “30 to eat” and left. I sat by myself for 30 min while some other girl (who apparently works at another wal mart vision center and was just filling in) showed another man glasses. Finally after waiting for so long I asked the “fill in” what the deal was and she looked flustered and confused and went and got the doctor. The doctor came out like nothing was wrong and when I asked her why I sat there for 30 minutes she said “nobody told me you were here.” But you couldn’t have popped your head out for a second to check? I mean clearly you have a schedule and know someone is probably waiting at all times. She didn’t even apologize and seemed like it wasn’t her problem. I guess you can’t expect much professionalism out of a Walmart vision center but come on now. Do better.
Guy in the front was extremely rude. Didn’t write my prescription and didn’t reserve my frames so I had to take off work again and go back and do the same thing over again. also didn’t call back to say my glasses were done i had to call them.
I went in to pick up a pair of eyeglasses for my child. Seems simple right? Well it seems the guy that took my childs eyeglasses and told me to return for pickup had no recognition of this transaction. Another staff person Tia insisted on interrupting every conversation I was having with the actual person I had made the transaction of ordering the eyeglasses. I waited for about 45 minutes total for the man to come up with a solution. At that point, I wasnt asked to have seat or return later. I stood there waiting with my son who became tired standing and waiting for someone to say something. He and I were having a conversation about costumer service as I wanted to address how my 5 year old son and I waited for 45 minutes at the counter without any communication or being asked to sit down and wait. I told him its rude to not communicate with customers about whats going on with their eyeglasses & to have them stand at the counter waiting for an answer for 45 minutes. Here comes Tia again speaking to me about her feelings & giving me unwanted input. She assumed I was calling her rude and started ranting about God knows what because at that point I wasnt listening. I told her not to talk to me & she was even asked by her co-worker to go & sit down. Customer Service has gone to hell in a handbasket since Covid has come about. People do not take the time to explain anything. Im not even upset about the eyeglasses but the treatment of being provided terrible customer service.
I got great service here and a complete pair of glasses for just over $100 (without insurance!!) even with fancy lenses and nice frames. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs glasses but cant afford a huge price tag or doesnt have vision insurance. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable.
Waited over an hour just get frames. My God this place is slow
I brought my glasses to be fitted in a new frame and I cant seem to hear from them and this is now 3 weeks I know this is difficult because of covid 19 but 3 weeks? I am thinking he lost my glasses this is ridiculous.
*My biased opinion* Anne is excellent here!!!
Dr Mandel is excellent but the staff is not.
