Exceptionally kind and generous service!! I called to have my car towed back into my driveway when it got stuck in reverse backing out of my driveway. The linkage between the engine and shifter (excuse my lack of education on the names of these parts). They arrived within 15 minutes of calling! The empathetic man that came to tow my car linked them back together so that I could drive my car back into my driveway and didn’t even charge me for it! I am a college student living away from my parents and I am very thankful to have such a great auto shop here in Oxford! I cannot recommend them enough!! A few days ago I took my car here because there was a problem with the passenger door that was caused by another auto body shop. I dropped my car off at CARSTAR after making an appointment and they were so helpful and fixed the part within a few hours. As a student at Miami I felt comfortable going here and they were so efficient! They were even so generous they fixed the problem for no cost!!! 10/10 recommend!! GO HERE!!

This is a long term review. When I first got my truck back it was struck on the Driver side back door. ( So I have 4 doors. ) there were bubbles all over the paint like . And the back door lock didnt work as it should.. Didnt look too bad other than the rough texture it had especially when its my primary and dont wanna take the time to take it back.... TODAY is the first time I ever rolled down the back window on that door.... While I was driving when I roll that window down the door pops open... 2 times to verify it was a glitch. This has made my vehicle very unsafe and this needs fixed asap... I should probably report this to someone like the better business bureau .

I got my equinox back 1 day before their quoted time. It looked great, but when I saw the inside I was shocked! They cleaned my seats, all interior & put something in the vent that smells amazing! I took my vehicle there for rear end damage to the bumper, not only did they fix that so it looks brand new, but my car looks better than it did when I bought it.

As a 21 year member of USAA Ive never doubted USAA when recommending me where to take my vehicle for repairs. I was recommended CAR STAR in Oxford, Oh. From the moment of the first experience with speaking to Kendra and then later Crissy... I was very impressed with their professional customer service. They were very detailed with what to expect with time lines, parts and approximate time of completion.It was very evident to me that the entire staff is very trained in receiving parts from various companies. Multiple parts my truck needed in fact came in but were quickly returned and reordered because the parts did not meet CAR STAR standards. These set backs were frustrating because it did cause delays but I have to say it was well worth the wait.While my truck was in pieces Nick who was the primary tech assigned to my repairs I had arranged a multiple of carbon fiber accessories to be shipped to CAR STAR for install. All I have to say is WOW! Nick is a true professional! Id also like to give a big shout out to Mike, Kendra, Crissy and Greg for outstanding customer service. I was without my dream truck for 2 months and it was grueling to be without but when I saw the finish product it was so worth the wait! It seriously looked as if the accident never happened! Took my car for an estimate. The worker there ended up damaging my car more than it was before during inspection, I now have a piece that is hanging off my car which was not previously. The worker also was not wearing a mask (there is still a mandate in the state of Ohio) and told me I shouldnt wear one either. I will be taking my car somewhere else to be fixed.

They worked with my insurance company and the rental company and had everything taken care of when I arrived to drop off my car. That was awesome. When I went to pick up my car they again had all the paperwork done and handed me the keys, it was so easy and painless. I came in to CARSTAR yesterday afternoon after getting myself into a small fender bender. After the incident was over I discovered that the front right tire was scraping against the inside of my right front bumper of my Jeep as it had got bent in due to impact. I came in immediately as I didnt want to damage my tire. Not only were the employees quick to respond and help in any way that they could, but they sawed off the portion that was scraping my tire for FREE as it was a short and pretty simple job for someone with their kind of experience. I offered the kind man (I think his name was David or Daniel?) a tip and he declined over and over. He merely did this service out of the good of his heart.I am a college student with very little experience in cars living off of a college budget may I add. I am so grateful to CARSTAR for their customer service and excellent work. I will for sure be coming to them to completely replace my bumper when I can and for any unforeseen car issues I may encounter in the future.

Helpful staff gave an honest quote for a bumper replacement, then understood when I decided the car wasnt worth the repair cost. Instead, they did the best they could with heat and touch-up paint, and didnt charge me for the service. Highly recommended!

These folks restored our paint job to perfection after a mean person keyed our new truck. They also restored another vehicle after my husband hit a deer— absolutely great work. A year ago, we stopped by to ask for advice about pine tree sap that had dripped all over the truck. The CARSTAR folks very kindly not only gave us advice but didn’t let us leave until they had the sap removed. You just don’t forget people like that who really want to help others (and do top quality work).

I had carstar install a headlight that I had ordered online. They did it quickly and even polished both headlights so they would not look different.

I was not sure about taking my new car to anyone but the dealer but my insurance company recommended Carstar and I thought I would at least go there for the estimate. I was impressed from the start! The lady at the front counter greeted me when I walked in the door and took all of my information. She then ask another guy to do the estimate. As he completed the estimate he went over everything. I explained I know my insurance company says I have to use aftermarket parts but I would rather not have them on my 2012 Honda. He said he could contact Honda and they could probably price match the parts and use new Honda parts. I scheduled for repairs telling them I am very hard to please. I picked up my accord yesterday and could not have been more pleased. They were able to use all factory parts and my car looks as good as new! They even detailed the complete car for me. I will be a customer for life!

What a waste of time!Then, I went to a different place in Oxford, they charged me half of the total price less! Just don’t go to this place.update: Of course you deleted the record, as I said you asked me to pick up my car without service. Because you want to charge me for 3.5 hours labor for installing only two low beams while oxford car care only need 1.4 hours. And I called you to ask why you charge me 3.5 hours, you couldnt explain and asked me to pick up my car without service. apparently cause I found that you lied about the hours of labor you need!!! So good luck with you business...

CARSTAR Body is highly reputable and professional! We’ve been very satisfied with every experience both large and small over the last 8 years we’ve lived in SW Ohio. Even when we moved 40 minutes away from Oxford, we’ve wanted to use this repair shop! The reason is simple: They are honest, fair, timely and if you need a rental while your car is repaiired there is an Enterprise Rental in the same building! They do a beautiful job every time!

Recently Carstar replaced a top on my Jeep. They did a wonderful job. It did develop a leak however. When I took the car in they responded immediately. They took ownership of the issue even though it was caused by the age of the rubber on the Jeep. Mike and crew are wonderful, easy to work with and I highly recommend them for the quality of their work. I will be back if needed.

Amazing service! I came in on a Monday afternoon and was greeted by friendly faces. My car had some minor damage where a piece was scraped off in a parking garage, and the clips were broken. These guys took my car in on the spot, fixed it, and had it back to me in less than 30 minutes! Now thats what I call customer service. They even welcomed me back should I ever need anything else! As a student at Miami, I didn’t know what to do when the on-campus auto body shop on beech street closed. I went to carstar due to the amazing reviews and they couldn’t have been more accurate. I brought my car in the night before I needed it back (with the headlights working right, which they weren’t at the time) so that I could drive home to Chicago. Not only did they fix the positioning of the headlights, they gave me a call when it was ready (early), but they also polished my headlights and were extremely kind to me through the whole thing. I usually don’t write reviews, but every student at Miami should make this place their go-to auto body repair shop. Thanks for everything!

I couldnt get my car right away because I didnt have a ride, and they offered to pick me up in my car. When they picked me up, I didnt recognize my car it was so detailed. The staff went above and beyond my expectations! I had damage to my fender that needed attention. Its an older car and I didnt want to put a lot of money in it if I didnt need to. I dropped my car off for an estimate in the morning. When I returned at the end of the day, I was expecting bad news. To my shock they had repaired the dent as much as possible, and touched up a few spots with paint. When I asked what I owed, they refused to take payment. This level of customer care and service is very rare anymore. I am extremely thankful and will be a customer for life. The staff listened to what I needed, were kind and caring, and went beyond what would be expected from a business in the auto repair industry.

When I got into my first accident, I was nervous about going in to Carstar to deal with the repairs by myself. I shouldn’t have been. Mike assured me right away that they would take care of everything and communicate with me the whole time. I had heard that you are supposed to go to multiple body shops to compare quotes, but he explained to me exactly where the costs were coming from and why they would not be much different anywhere else. Carstar communicated efficiently and in a timely manner with myself and my mom about the repairs, and I would 100% go to them again.

I had several very large pine limbs fall on my Subaru Outback this winter. I used State Farm and Carstar of Oxford, Ohio to bring the car back to looking like new. The car needed work on multiple panels, and the folks at Carstar got it done ahead of schedule. Notifications via text kept me informed on the project. A deer hit my car about 5 miles outside of Oxford on the way home from visiting my son and daughter-in-love at 8:30 PM. The car was in bad shape. A friend recommended I have it towed to Carstar in Oxford, Ohio. I received a phone call the next morning from Carstar and they continued to communicate with me multiple times through the first week. It took nearly 3 weeks for the car to be repaired after nearly being totalled. They communicated with throughout the duration of the repair. When I went to pick it up it looked great! Im fairly particular and I noticed one edge of a quarter panel slightly raised and a hood line that was off. I brought it to their attention and the owner of Carstar himself, after hours (they were closed by that time), while I waited (not that long), did the adjustment himself. I watched him tediously adjust and shape the body parts to fit to my liking. I was impressed - thoroughly impressed. Everyone was pleasant, responsive, helpful - they took the time necessary to answer my questions. Ive been in the car 2 weeks and it has performed flawlessly. I hope I dont have to have my automobile reconstructed again, but if I do, I would definitely take it back to Carstar. They are a great little company of hard working folks - from the owner owner to the detail man. Thanks!
