The fellas down at Skin Deep are all very professional at what they do from the time you walk in to the time you leave. Ive had several piercings over the years and I must say Hunter is definatly the best. Once he asked if I was ready I didnt even know he did it until he asked me if I felt it since he was going behind scar tissue. More than the purpose of why youre there to begin with youre sure to enjoy the time spent with Hunter Tony and Dave. So hit em up. You wont be disappointed.

Back in 2019 I had a tattoo done. They were extremely professional and kind. I reccomend them to everyone who is looking for a place to go! I definitely want to go back and get my second one done!They treat you like family as soon as you come through the door 🙂Great prices as well! Very fair.

I have been there twice now for tattoos and have had them done by two different artist, and they both turned out great! I will eventually get a half sleeve done in all Egyptian because I found out many years ago through extensive research and genealogy that I am 42% Egyptian, and Cleopatra is my great..........grandmother which was so awesome to me when I found out! So I have dedicated my right forearm in honor of my family and heritage. I will definitely be going back to have all my work done through Skin Deep because they have such amazingly talented artist there, and I have a few more piercings I’m getting which I will also have done there. So if you are looking for a talented tattoo artist and a shop that makes you feel welcomed, I highly recommend Skin Deep!

I normally would only allow one certain person to tattoo me but I went back in March of 2017 and got the word LOVE and music notes around it for the love of music that myself and my children share. I also have two notes tatted on my left index finger. I used Amber for them. Shes very good and very professional. Im getting more SOON & cannot wait for her to do them. I love Mole as well, went to school with him. Hes very talented but hes no longer at Skin Deep....

The man that did my tattoos was very nice but the tattoos turned out HORRIBLY.. they just turned into open scabs and one of them formed a water bubble as if it were a burn. I went back to show them the tattoo and the first thing that was asked was “did you get it here” .... KNOWING that they had JUST seen me.!! Then I was directed to another artist there who DID NOT do my tattoos and wasn’t even there the day i had got them and he clearly knew that something wasn’t right because he asked “what have you put on it.?!?” And I replied “aquaphor” because that’s what they recommended and that’s also what I used for my other previous tattoos. And then he tried to get smart saying how long he’s been in “the chair” and they couldn’t do anything until it “healed” But the thing is when this heals they wouldn’t be able to put ink on the spots that are MISSING SKIN and they KNOW IT. I was extremely polite until they tried to pass it off like they didn’t see my skin and the colored FLESH that was showing because the artist dug wayyy too deep. I was even okay with the artist not making the tattoo the color i wanted because he claimed he “couldn’t see well” that night so i went with a whole nother tattoo look than i was going for.& I thought it still turned out nicely until things took a turn for the worst. I know how tattoos are supposed to heal because I have them and have went to MULTIPLE ARTISTS so It’s not me being “picky” or rude . I at least wanted them to be more concerned but I couldn’t get an apology, an offer to make things right, or even my money back. But I have contacted my lawyer and I will have to make the necessary steps.!! Like I said the man who did the tatt was NICE as ever but he dug too deep and it left permanent damage on both tats and it could’ve went differently had they at least acknowledged what was wrong. Truly sad the way things were handled/not handled.!! No one wants to have messed up skin especially in a place where it’s visible to people. I trusted them with my skin and the art but got done horribly.. this is why I believe with some places you need to just pay half or pay after the work is done and even if you pay before hand, if something goes wrong because of THEM and you go to them in a polite manner even though this is your body so you have a reason to be alarm and HEATED ....then they should at least do everything in their power to make it right and pay you back and try to fix it. But like I said there’s no fixing this and they knew it that’s why I had to take legal action. Not trying to bash their business or anything because my first initial thought was “they’re pretty nice people and it’s a cool space” when i first walked in to set the appointment but as far as my experience and things .... I definitely won’t be going there again and the way they handled my situation.. I highly wouldn’t recommend and that’s just me.!!

The service was terrible. Ran by teenagers who bring in friends and the two people flirt and take forever to get to me.

My friend and I went in for spontaneous piercings, and Amber was absolutely lovely with the whole experience! The shop was very clean, they use fresh everything for piercings, and Amber was more than willing to answer our 100,000 questions. Her assistant(?) was also incredibly nice and helpful as well, and we had a very memorable experience. Well be back! #buttholefam

I would recommend Tony Pruitt to anyone anytime. He has done 6 of my 7 tattoos. Tony is an awesome artist who does amazing work! I dont plan on going anywhere else.

I got a paw print tattoo from Amber and its absolutely perfect. Out of my 10 tattoos this is the only one that didnt hurt. She is a fantastic artist!

I got my belly button pierced here and they were very clean and did a really good job. Im going back Friday to get my tounge pierced and Im really excited the only problem I have is that I have called 20 times in the last 3 days and the lines have all been busy and I need to know if I need to make an appointment. And I need to know if the piercer is going to be there Friday so its a little frustrating.

Hello everyone, Im an artist at skin deep and have noticed a lot of one star reviews happening in the last month and have done research on other shops in the area, they seem to be experiencing the same thing. It seems to be originating at a local shop located on Greenbrier Dear Road and/or friends/family of that local shop have been making fake profiles in order to leave fake reviews, not just on us, but 3 other shops in the area as well. Now we know that not everyone is going to be happy, which we respect your opinion. These reviews help us as a business accommodate to the people.

Recieved my first piercing here recently and it was a horrible experience the piercer did not make it a very friendly environment she was very quiet and didn’t speak the whole procedure not even to talk me through the process… when i asked questions she mumbled answers she also pierced my navel off center this was the worst experience especially for a first timer very unprofessional i will NEVER come back here nor do i recommend this place
