Steve does a great job! His shop is small and clean. Hes done several pieces for me and my husband and we continue to go back!

I was immediately seen and greeted with smiles! I had an idea for a tattoo and Isaac was able to take my idea and tweak it to perfection! He was very patient with all of my ideas and critiques and the overall finished product was very clean and precise!! I highly recommend going to Vertigo for your tattoo and piercing needs!

The owner is super unprofessional. I mean just read the comments left by the owner himself on these one star reviews. There’s a reason the customers’ comments are left. My family and I have gotten pierced by him before and it will never happen again. We’ve gone to other piercing places and have never experienced something like this. The piercings were done carelessly making the healing process hell. Proper sanitation on the piercings always take place because of the fear that this might happen. We’ve gone to other piercing shops and they all say that the work done at vertigo is an absolute nightmare. We will NEVER go there again.

Steve did an amazing job. I was able to send him a picture of the flowers I wanted and he customized it to add it on to a tattoo I already had. Would absolutely recommend coming here!!

I have gotten a piercing and tattoo here and both of them were phenomenal. For my helix piercing, I had no complications here and as someone who has a lot of piercings, they did an excellent job that didnt really leave much soreness and no problems afterwards. For my tattoo, it turned out better than I could have asked for and the price was unbeatable. Clean, talented, and great to customers - HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Great first experience for a tattoo. Steve is funny and conversational which makes it feel like the time flies by. Great work done and couldn’t be happier with it.

I went to vertigo to Steve to get matching tattoos with my daughter and he did fine other than a slight broken line. I went back a couple weeks later on a Saturday after sending him a image with my moms handwriting to get another. It was a daisy and the stem was to say courageous. He did the tattoo and when he got done he asked me if it looked ok. I was happy with what I could see. Even during the tattoo he stated “at least your mom spelled it right”. I got home and took the wrapping off and noticed he had misspelled it by putting a “I” instead of a “e”. I wasn’t even mad because it was a honest mistake that looked like it would be a super easy fix. I messaged him with no reply so a couple days later I messaged again and he said give it a month and he would fix it. I didn’t tell anyone the mistake because I wouldn’t want people to think a certain way about him. I waited a month and reached out to him after seeing where he had some open availability a couple saturdays from then and asked him what was the next Saturday he could get me in to fix it. He stated that he would fix for free through the week but would charge $40 if I came on a Friday or Saturday. I explained I work all week and he again said it would be $40. I had it done on a Saturday because I work so why should he not fix it on a Saturday.? I eventually told him to forget it and that I would find someone else. I Won’t be going back. I was told I am not the only one he has done this to.

Worst piercing experience I’ve ever had— so bad my friend and I walked out before he could pierce us. Extremely misogynistic and flat out rude. He trash talked us, his wife, and his mother-in-law all in a span of 15 minutes. He assumed my friend and I were Marketing majors because we’re females and then he proceeded to call us lazy and smelly(?). He was extremely unprofessional and truthfully unclean. Go to Uptown Tattoo and see Ehdi I promise you you’re experience will be 10000x better.

Had my first piercing done here. He pierced my nose with a ring that was far too small and snug. I tired to call the shop and ended up leaving a voicemail letting him know that the piercing was now migrating. I never got a call back, and every time i call the shop they don’t pick up. A complete headache over such a simple piercing. Definitely don’t recommend

Just left a review on the fb page but wanted to leave one here too. Got snakebites done the other week and they’re currently healing nicely. Good placement and Steve was great and super personable! Almost painless! Definitely will ask for a countdown next time though 😂

My friend and I got matching tattoos that mean a lot to us. They turned out great and it’s even more meaningful considering Steve is one of the most personable guy I’ve met in a while; furthermore, you can tell how much he loves doing his craft and holds himself accountable to his standards.Steve was also super generous to give us a free touch up! Went in today to get an industrial piercing. Steve was super friendly and funny. I get a bit queasy with blood and he was very patient with me. Ill for sure return here for my next piercing.

Don’t get piercings here!!! it felt weird there so i went to get it checked out at another place and they said everything about my piercing was wrong. they used to small of a gage for my ear and it would have rejected within a couple months. i was very lucky to catch this when i did because it could have been really bad. now i’m gonna have a scar so thanks guys!! keep up the good work 😬

They only want to do tattoos that are from the internet. Nothing original! I called with details of exactly what I wanted and was told I needed to find a picture on the internet of the exact thing I wanted. No talent! Nothing Artistic about this place. Very rude and money hungry....DONT WASTE Your Time Or Money......THEY SUCK!!!!!!!

I came here for my first tattoo and what was my worst nightmare came true: it was done completely incorrect. I contacted him the same day and he told me it would be fixable, but it never should have turned out like this in the first place. After getting opinions from other tattoo artists who said there was no way to fix this mess, I ended up covering it with something so much more beautiful than what I had before. I made the mistake of trusting all the good reviews, but do NOT go here.

My daughter got a tattoo here and it was awful!! Extremely shaky lines and words you can’t even make out. Took her to two other tattoo shops and they both said it was horrible. They asked if the tattoo was done by a college student. Both shops said there was no way to “fix” the words that it would have to be covered up or laser removed.Vertigo owner, Steve, blamed my daughter for his work not being done correctly. Said that she wanted the words too small. Seems to me that a professional tattoo artist would know his own limits on tattoo size and form, especially after applying a stencil!!She ended up paying $400 to have the tattoo covered up & turned into something beautiful. If you want an awesome tattoo skip this place & go to Dana’s.

I got my first tattoo here and I am in love with it I most definitely will be going back to get more work done! And the artist are very friendly and keep a conversation going and they have some very good jokes it helped me stay at ease. They definitely are the best!

Had another great session at vertigo on Friday. Steve covered a tattoo that I’ve hated for years. It turned out amazing. He is the only one that will work on me from now on.

At first, I was scared that my first tattoo experience would be horrific but through lightening things up with his jokes and his demeanor, he made it great. He did a great job and I love the work. It looks exactly like I wanted. I would definitely recommend.

Do not go here. I received a tattoo from them, and it was so bad I had to get it redone somewhere else. In the end I spent 3x the amount of the original cost of the tattoo getting it redone. Youre better off going to a quality tattoo place in Columbus than here. The artist that reworked my tattoo kept pointing out endless mistakes that this place made on the original tattoo. Do yourself a favor and dont make the mistake of getting a tattoo from Vertigo.

I came from Fairfield and drove about 40 minutes to get to this place and as soon as I came there at 4 pm (the time my appointment was scheduled) they told me sorry were closed but on the website it says they close at 9 pm? And then one guy told me Ill see you tomorrow at 1 pm. No one schedules my appointment without asking me before if its okay or not with me. I drove another 40 minutes back to another tattoo shop who greeted me well and set up an appointment the right way. Never going to go back to get a tattoo done at vertigo.

Steve was very kind. It was clean and quick! He gave very detailed instructions on how to keep my piercing clean and even offered his cell if I had any questions.

Professional clean environment. Steve has done 7 of the 10 tats I have and touched up the three he didnt do. Im never dissapionted and always taken well care of. Steve is always honest and gives his professional opinion. If youre not a puss and show up on time you wont be dissapionted. I will NEVER go anywhere else for my tattoos!

Great place! Went here for a piercing and the owner was super personable, he talked and joked around a lot which definitely put me and all my friends at ease as all of us were dealing with getting piercings with a low pain tolerance
