I came in interested in trading in my F-250. I had a specific budget to work with and in these times, they made it happen and I got a F-150 Powerboost. I am very happy with my choice and for the assistance and support from Luis meeting me in the lot when I showed up, to Daniel helping me get the price I was asking for to Xavier for making checkout speedy. Overall great experience and I recommend Vista Ford in Oxnard!
I had taken my 2013 Ford Escape to this authorized repair center multiple times for the same issue: I have to top off my coolant every 2-3 weeks, and there is no leak. Ford confirmed there was no leak, and said we should keep an eye on it after finding other things to repair. Finally, I went into Firestone to get tires, and asked them if they could work their magic because Ford could not find the issue. Within a few moments, I had received a lot of information about the turbo charger being a very likely culprit because it is a common issue.After receiving this information, I called up Ford to schedule a day to drop off the car and get the turbo charger looked at. The lady on the phone was able to schedule an appointment for the following week to drop it off and get it looked at. I specified the ProDemand reference number for the issue, told them the appointment was for the turbo charger to get assessed and repaired if necessary, and they said to come through on the appointment date.I drove from Fillmore to find out that they do not have any availability to look at or repair my issue for 3-4 weeks! This was after confirming an appointment about the TURBO CHARGER, waiting a week for this appointment, and scheduling time off to make sure I could do it during their working business hours. They havent had any available cars for loaners for over a year now, and this means I would have been without my vehicle for 3-4 weeks, or drive it around and potentially damage my vehicle due to their poor lack of staffing and coherence of the situation.I have chosen to now go through another local repair shop that says that assessing the issue and repairing it would take less than 3 days.In addition, I had purchased this vehicle from this dealership, paid for the extended warrantee for this vehicle, and had brought multiple concerns to the repair center. Sounds in my brake pads rattling when driving over the slightest bumps, and other random little things, only to be dismissed as these things being normal operating sounds and to not worry about it. Not many other cars make loud rattling noises when they hit a crack in the asphalt, but mine has been doing it since I bought it.I wouldnt buy another vehicle from Ford if someone held me at gunpoint with the money to buy it, and I definitely would not recommend sending your Ford to this dealer to get it repaired.

In the acceptance process I pointed out an interior flaw, which the sales manager indicated would be taken care of. Now a year later I am tired of trying to get Vista Ford to honor their commitment.I was recently told to bring my truck into service and they would order the part. I went into service today and was turned away.So for the small price to correct the issue they have lost a future customer and all those folks I can influence when they go looking for a vehicle.Bottom line. If you purchase a vehicle at Vista Ford make sure EVERY problem is taken care of before you drive off the lot otherwise you will be turned away later.
Vista Ford of Oxnard put us in a car that we loved. While car availability is low now due to the chip shortage affecting all dealerships, they still were able to find a car that we wanted, in the color we wanted, and in the package we wanted. They were very educational and low pressure. They worked with us to get the financing in a manner we could manage. So happy to have my car for years to come and they introduced us to a new technology option that makes driving even better, an Escape that is both an electrical plugin and a gas hybrid. We can have the best of both worlds for our family car.

I reached out to Vista Ford, via TrueCar, because they have the electric vehicle I wanted. When they called me back, I told them I’d been wanting this car but would only buy it if I can get the price I am looking for. I even shared a bad experience I had with another dealer who tried to pull a bait and switch on me, fortunately I found out that I wouldn’t get the deal promised prior to driving to the dealership. Gabriel Palomares told me he’d try and get me the deal I was wanting. He called back saying his manager approved the deal and sent me the numbers via email to confirm the purchase price. I was at the dealership an hour later to buy the car. When I finally sat down with the finance manager to sign the purchase agreement, the price was $1,500 higher than promised!!! They did a complete bait and switch on me and his manager Chris Belle tried to justify it by saying, “I did calculate only a $27 difference in monthly payment” — I can’t believe they pull these tactics to get people on the lot and to the signing table.Buyer beware. Do not use this dealership. They are not trustworthy.
Appointment made through a call center for a flat tire, on hold then initially scheduled 9 am over the phone but they messed up and scheduled 530 pm. On hold gain when I called to fix it.I took work off for the day to deal with this. Brought my car in with a spare on, explained situation and confirmed flat tire. Joseph was the consultant. Ubered home an back when they said it was ready. Did not fix tire and instead performed regular, unscheduled, maintenance when it wasn’t due and left spare tire on. Joseph said he was sorry despite several notes in system about flat. Neglected to inform me dealership no longer covers tire repairs due to liability. Then dealt with supervisor, Cliff, who was sympathetic but did not help much. Was informed tire was not repairable due to location of puncture. Fine, let’s get a new one. Ordered new tire and scheduled return visit for 2 days later. Told I would get a “the best deal possible” on the tire.Upon returning, told tire was never ordered. Then told it was put in system but parts department never ordered it. Then told it was in house but didn’t know where. Then found and replaced 2 hours later, still charged me $200 for a single tire, told it was minus labor. Gee thanks.I’m patient but not stupid. Joseph and Cliff dropped the ball and had the chance to make it right and didn’t. Seems to be an issue with internal logistics, seems more like a learning opportunity.
Have never had a good experience with the service dept. Extremely disorganized. Waited for service to finish for 4 hours, with service rep saying she was waiting for my keys. Turns out they were on her desk. On another occasion I scheduled a repair and when I arrived they said I would need to schedule another appointment to have it looked at. Always slow service. Read the other reviews regarding service department… clearly an ongoing problem not being addressed.Make the extra drive to go to a different Ford service center.
Went in to look at the Mustang Mach E. Told salesperson not ready to buy yet; but, wanted to compare the Mach E to the Tesla Y. Waiting to see about passage of Infrastructure bill re tax credits. The salesperson opened up the vehicle, allowed me to sit inside and answered about 10 minutes of questions. Very professional, informative and courteous. The Mach E is a beautiful car. Hope the range can get expanded to match the long range Tesla Y.
I placed an appointment to see a truck with Jacob, a salesman. He failed to let me know that their General Sales Manager had bought the truck from under me before the appointment. So, when I arrived for my appointment, Jacob wasnt even there for our appointment. Another salesman tried to offer me a more expensive truck or trucks that were missing the features we needed. But when they would find a truck that I would settle for they said they would contact me, never did. They also kept reminding me about the truck the GSM bought from under me wouldve fit me better and also brought me to the truck he bought to see it. Rude. I placed a build order online to this dealership, and I was never contacted to finalize the order. I called them instead, and they didnt have my order on file. They said they would get a salesman within the next 10 min to help get my build order through since it was not busy. I did not get that call. Seemed like they didnt even want my business. As an active duty military, I thought Ford would treat me with better customer service. I ended up going to Ford Ventura and they did the smart thing and placed a build order to the factory, and also offered me a service member discount.
We had a pleasant experience test driving a vehicle for my daughter last week at Ford of Oxnard, which we had planned to come back and purchase this week.Unfortunately....today I had to bring my sons vehicle in for a recall fix and a diagnostic. I made an appointment two weeks ago and took off a day from work to get the service done. When I showed up the recall repair parts were not in stock and the service manager told me that I could leave the car there for the diagnostic but that the electrician was busy and probably would not get around to looking at my car until tomorrow. I asked what the point was of having made an appointment if they were not going to be ready to service my vehicle and he said it was so that I could have a chance to speak with the service department to make plans for the future repair. I asked why when I called in to make my appointment the recall parts were not ordered and electrician time not set aside and he said the call centers take the appointment and that is all.I have never had a service experience like this before. I returned to my car, called Ford of Ventura and asked to make an appt. They quickly searched for the recall parts to ensure they had them in stock before scheduling an appointment for me. Super satisfied with their diligence and respectful customer service and will be going there for my service as well as for my new car purchase. Unfortunate that I have lost all respect for Ford of Oxnard.
Just went to check out the new Mustang Mach E and they happened to have one for sale. It was a base model, with a sticker price of around $42,500 and when the sales person told me it was selling for $53k I was a bit taken aback. I checked the pricing and they marked it up by $8k. During these times trying to stick it to your customers is a bad business practice and you should be really ashamed of yourselves. Needless to say, I will never, ever buy a car from Vista again!
After searching for weeks and talking to many dealers, Vista of Oxnard not only had the exact Mustang I wanted, they agreed and didnt blink when I told them of what kind of lease and how much down I wanted to use. They catered to me, not the other way around, like so many other dealers treat you. Everyone was helpful, friendly, respectful and made the whole process pretty easy! Im really happy with my Mustang Eco Boost 3.2L HPP and will def go back there when Im need of another car!

Horrible. Don’t go here..We worked with Freddy to buy a car. I wanted to buy it over the weekend. We had test driven it and were prepared to buy it. I couldn’t physically make it in that day. But, I was prepared to buy it remotely. I could have provided a non refundable deposit, full payment, a contract if they had emailed it to me. Instead, they (Freddy and the manager) told me to just come in on Tuesday. I contacted them today and the car was sold after I had talked to them on Saturday. I had first dibs as I was prepared to buy it that day but they assured me Tuesday was fine. They didn’t allow me to do that, they didn’t bother to contact me before they sold it that evening and no one contacted me today to advise it was sold. Horrible customer service. They obviously don’t care about customer service. So rude. I would never given them my business. In fact, I won’t go to any Vista as a result. I hope the owner is made aware. Freddy is the worst. So his his manager, whoever that was.

My 2009 Mercury Mariner was taken in to the shop on December 22- 2020 and I just picked it up yesterday April 8- 2021. There was a part ordered for the brakes and I do understand that because of the pandemic they were struggling getting shipments. But anyway I was without a vehicle all this time and went through a hardship to get to places or appointments because all my family and friends had their own responsibilities. I thank for the work they have done after they got the part but i feel they could have cooperated better we us since that is the place we take our car for all the services since we bought the car there. I thank Albert Torres for all the help but he can only do so much
I have called the service department at least 4 times to schedule an appointment and every single time I get placed on hold for at least 10 mins and then hanged up on. Finally giving up and getting my service elsewhere its sad that Walmart has better auto service then a Ford Dealership. SMH How they dont have online appointment scheduling is beyond reason.
We are here for a week from Michigan. I called 3 times Mon morning to schedule an oil change and several other things. Was only able to leave a vm asking for an oil change plus repairs asking someone to return my call.By 4:00 no one had called back so we drove 15 miles to ask in person. Got an apt at noon for the NEXT day. Returned the next day 15 minutes early and it still took over 2 hours to complete a scheduled oil change. The cabin air filter and engine air filter had bee replaced 10 days ago but the tech said they needing replacing. Serious?When we got in the truck the main monitor had not been returned to where it was. The paperwork said the mileage was 13,771, not 93,771 so the next oil change on the sticker reads return at 18,711, not 98,771.... which means its immediately 80,000 OVER already.Plus I am still waiting for someone to call me back for an appointment for the other repairs. It looks like the other repairs will wait until we get back to Michigan the end of the month. Hope we dont have any truck issues going home.
I had one of the best experiences here at vista Ford in Oxnard. I was on the hunt for the perfect car. Went to DCH Ford in Thousand Oaks and it was one of the worst experiences ever. So I went to vista Ford and worked with Mike Escoto for several days and he was amazing! Helped me get the right car with good rates and helped me purchase my 2018 Ford Flex! Nicely washed and filled with gas! I love it and would go back to THIS Ford dealership again! Thanks Vista Ford!

My wife and I made an appointment to purchase our leased Escape at the end of the lease. The finance manager was on time and it took us less than an hour to complete the transaction. The process was very efficient and he explained each step. We were very pleased and will certainly return to Vista Ford.

Horrible service Department. I have been to this dealership on two separate occasions and each time the service advisor acts like they should not be contacted and are bothered when I ask for service/help checking in. I have a motorhome on a 2019 Ford chassis. Each time the service advisor tried to refuse service based on the length (32ft). I have to explain that I have already confirmed with Ford corporate that they service up to 35ft motor homes, before they get the service manager to try and stop the service. Each time they give in after a lengthy discussion.This week I am forced to go back to this dealership for service. Made the appointment online and have called twice to get my assigned adviser to call me. No surprise, NO return call and no other advisers or service manager are available. Where is everyone???If my motorhome was smaller I would never ever go back to this poorly run dealership. However Ford says this is the dealership for big vehicles.These employees need customer service training and new supervisors who care about customers.The owner of this dealership should do a undercover service appointment if they care to fix the problem.Very disappointed!!!
Horrible service from Auston Gessow! He was the specialist on the Blacklabel Navigator that my parents were interested in buying. He was very rude, condescending and just a jerk.my parents felt so disrespected and we left! long story short, went to Galpin and we now have our personal salesman and driving our new 140K navigator that Vista Oxnard could have sold us.Note to Mr Gessow...... hispanic people have money ! we wonder what you drive. we will recommend Galpin Lincoln to ALL our friends.

This may very well be my last time using Vista Ford Oxnard.

I bought a 2019 Ford F-150 . I love my truck very much. Except there was a scratch on the left front side of the truck I do not know if it was there when I bought it or somebody scratched it after I bought it. But I had a great experience buying that truck I recommend Vista Ford if you are looking for a Ford F-150. They are great trucks. The salesman or great the finance people were great the receptionist was great everybody does a great job there and you could see that they work as a team they have great teamwork.
Was referred by buddy of mine to look at Vista Ford Lincoln and check out their inventory of Ford Raptors. Is was pretty much love at first sight with a 2017 Metallic Ford Raptor. Ash, Gabriel, and Issac made the buying very easy and simple. Guys are cool to work with. All my questions and requests were met in a timely manner. STAY AWAY! DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! I came into Vista Ford to buy a truck. I was looking to purchase the truck for asking price- MSRP. When I sat down with a manager, they told me the price of the truck was $12,000 higher than advertised. This price “bump” was not posted anywhere on the vehicle or online. They are acting illegally. Attorneys reading this need to get involved! There was no addendum or affidavit posted anywhere on the vehicle, paperwork or online that their posted price was false.

I purchased a certifed pre owned 2018 Ford Edge in October of 2019 with full warranty, right from the start the salesman had to jump the vehicle. Within 2 months I had to jump vechile, took it to the dealership and they found the battery to be fine, still then Ive jumped the vechile 7 times, just this week went back to dealership and they told me it was a battery, which I would have to buy. If you want poor service this is the place for you ! I will NEVER NEVER purchase a vehicle from this dealership !

Got a great deal on a trade in that otherwise would be of little value, got exactly the truck I wanted. They work the payments down to be completely manageable, and did it painlessly. Second vehicle Ive purchased from them in the last 5 years, and I will be back for the next as well. I worked with Mike Schmitt both times, and his customer care was above and beyond. We had one of the very best car buying eexperiencs at Vista on Saturday!! Ajani Marshall, Chris Belle and finance manager Javier gave us EXCEPTIONAL customer service from beginning to end. We drove 2 hrs away to purchase a truck that I had found on their website that I liked. I filled out the car inquiry form online to see if they still had the truck in stock. Ajani called me the next morning to let me know they did. He left me his cell number to contact him for any more questions that I had regarding the truck. I was surprised at that gesture. I had never experienced that kind of personal gesture from a car dealer before. After deciding that I definitely wanted the truck my husband and I started calling our banks for financing. I had a few questions that I needed answered quickly being that I was dealing with a bank from my home state of Indiana and the 3hr time difference was an issue. I called Ajani, he helped me on his DAY OFF!! I was blown away by his professionalism in that regard. He didnt pawn me off to someone else he actually worked on his day off and everything he could to accommodate me. I had questions that needed supervisor authorizing so he had his manager call me. Chris was helpful in a way that eased fears he didnt even know I had. Chris didnt know that I had been taken advantage of at a dealership before because of my lack of knowledge about car buying. I had let him know that we had a couple of banks willing to finance us, he asked for the rates and quickly determined that they could possibly get us a better rate and thoroughly explained to me the rates and what would be best for me based on what I wanted. When my husband called him back, he told him the same exact thing!! There wasnt anything told differently between us, there was ZERO pressure, which made me feel sooo comfortable about doing business with them. Well Chris was able to get us a better rate and we decided on definitely making a purchase. We drove the 2 hours and bought a BEAUTIFUL Ford Edge. They had everything ready for us, they were very conscious of our time being that we had driven a ways and had our newborn and 9yr old with us. It was truly a great car buying experience over all! Thank you Ajani, Chris and Javier again for making this experience so non stressful and for being sooo amazing at what you do! I had a loan officer call me yesterday from our credit union to try to beat the rate that was given to us...she couldnt!! She said you got a really great deal that we cant even beat..she said they really took care of you with all that you got with the truck and we cant beat that rate!! So Chris THANK YOU for your suggestion because you didnt even have to say anything you could have let us go with who we came to you with. But you went above and beyond just like Ajani did!! Buying a new vehicle at Vista Ford was low stress, and an overall good experience thanks to friendly staff who seem to put their customers first. Luis Carmona made sure all of my questions were answered, and worked hard to make the car buying process enjoyable.
Avoid this dealership at all costs. Too stressful. Arrogance, incompetence, extremely demanding. Deceitful. I finally bought the same car I almost bought here at $10,000 less at Enterprise Car sales in Ventura. In fact it was a year newer. $10,000! Be sure to go early. At exactly 9:00 they shut down, throw you out, and all the salespeople jump in their cars and leave. I lost my cell phone in the process. Stay away!
Ive bought 7 new cars in the past and Ive NEVER EVER felt more welcome and appreciated. And Im not blowing smoke either. EVERYONE I interacted with was beyond awesome. I have never been treated so well. They made me feel like I was buying a FLEET of cars. Ive never felt so important. They even took care of me and helped me on their days off and after hours. It was amazing. THEY are amazing.Isaac in Accounting and Luis in Sales were also amazing. They stayed after hours to finish my deal with professionalism, smiles and politeness. Again - everyone was amazing. I know Im going to keep this car for a long time, but I AM going to be referring people to your dealerships.Again - Ive NEVER received such ABOVE THE BAR service.
I got rid of my Ram and bought a Ford truck after many issues with the local Dodge/Ram dealer. Im a year in and Im glad I did. In my opinion, the most important part of a dealership is the service department, and Vista Ford has been great to work with.
They dont offer a shuttle service. I had to get Uber to get home.
I called Vista Ford Lincoln Oxnard service department on two occasions requesting the cost of vehicle service needed on my Ford F-150. I spoke to Paul and told him what service was needed and asked for a cost for this service. He informed me that a service writer (Peter) would call be back with the cost late that day.Never received a call back from Peter the service writer. I called back two days later and again spoke to Paul again and told him Peter never called me back about the service i requested.Paul told me that he would inform Peter the service called again and would have the cost for the service i had requested two days earlier.It now has been about two weeks and still waiting for Peter the service 00.00writer call. I went else wear for the service Mountain View Tire and Service Inc. Camarillo Ca. My bill came to $700.00 for the service. This could have been spent at Vista Ford of Oxnard, but Peter the service writer never call be back. He just lost a loyal customer for his company.
I just purchased a 2020 F250. The transaction was simple. Over email i was able to identify the truck, make the financial deal and then came in to see it. They called me the day it came on the lot. The receptionist, sales person and finance manager were all great. They were professional, polite and answered my questions straight up. I was out the door in 2 hours max. Thanks!

We couldnt be happier with our purchase of a new F-150 at Vista Ford. Their sales staff, especially Ash and Luis, were helpful and informative. Good communication, pleasant people, and fairly no-nonsense.They worked hard to resolve my questions and concerns and didn’t pressure me very much for add-ons at the end. I am from Southern New Jersey and when building the specs on my 2020 Lincoln Navigator the only dealership in the country that had a car with those particular specs was at Vista Ford & Lincoln in Oxnard CA. After negotiating with Luis Carmona and his management we reached agreement and the staff at Vista, including Mike Strang, made the transaction delightful. This included recommending transport specialists that would haul the car to my home. In another week or so we should take possession and I can only say that the team at Vista are true professionals and worthy of the Lincoln brand. Five stars.

I did not buy or was interested in a car. I was there to help my aunt pickup her car. They were busy on black Friday night, but helped her quickly! Great service, clean bathrooms and there was fresh popcorn available at front door.

I purchased my vehicle from Vista Ford in 2016 and have had several warranty issues that I have had to fight to get repaired under warranty even though I purchased every extended warranty they had to offer. My headlight lamp is oxidize from the inside and they have already replaced one for the same reason a year and a half ago and now the other other is doing the exact same thing but they refuse to warranty it. This is still under the original purchase warranty: 4 years/60K miles. Not a happy customer for sure.07/09/2020 - UPDATEAfter some lengthy back and forth with Lincoln Concierge I remained an unhappy customer. However, Cliff the service manager at Ford in Oxnard went above and beyond to assist me with getting my headlamp repaired. He has renewed my faith to say the least. Thank you Cliff!!!!

I had a great experience purchasing a new Ford Ranger from Anthony.
After my last experience with their service department I will never go back and they just lost a customer and a sale. They said theyd call a couple days after the 7th on a warranty item, mirror motor, and never did. I left voice mails and never got a call back. This is the third time they didnt follow up on calling me back. I even had to pay them to tell me what I told them what was wrong with my seat. So now its off to Thousand Oaks for that new Ranger.
